In Gaza, we don't live — we survive, We starve… we drink contaminated water, We’re displaced again and again, We sleep to the sound of bombing and wake up to new fear, Our homes are rubble, and our dignity is buried beneath it, And still, the world stays silent — as if our pain doesn’t reach, If there’s still a conscience out there, then hide it from us… because we’re tired of screaming into the void💔.
Can you imagine a piece of shrapnel nearly taking a child’s life? ❤️🩹
We were just trying to hold on to whatever sense of safety we had left… 🕊️
Then suddenly, the shelling surrounded us, bullets filled the sky💣🔥.
My nephew was sitting on the ground next to a water barrel… A piece of shrapnel flew right above his head — it pierced the barrel, not him🙏🏻😥.
One second later, and we might have been burying him today🪽💔.
We’re not living… we’re barely surviving, moment by moment😔.
With every explosion, we count the souls — who’s still here, and who have we lost this time?🥹
I ask myself: how can anyone witness this and stay silent?😡
Have our children’s lives really become this cheap?😢😞

After more than two months of waiting, I finally received my first donation today from an anonymous person. I’m so happy and grateful — thank you, whoever you are. When sorrow and difficulties strike hard, hope becomes the lone star in the dark sky. This is the story of Amira, a 23-year-old girl who found herself bearing the burden of her family after her father's death three years ago due to the coronavirus.
After my father's passing, I found myself taking care of my family, consisting of my mother, sister Noor, and brother Abdulrahman. My mother, suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes, faces health problems that further complicate their situation. But courage and determination drive Amira forward.
I worked as a teaching assistant at the university while pursuing a master's degree in data science, and also worked as a programmer in a company. My life was going smoothly until war came and destroyed everything.
My university, workplace, and home were completely destroyed, forcing them to flee south in search of a safe haven. Now, I and my family live in tents for displaced people in Deir al-Balah, where they suffer from water shortages and the spread of diseases, posing an additional challenge, especially for my immunocompromised mother.
This is a brief about our daily suffering.
Please help me, my mother, my sister and my brother to go out to treat my mother because she suffers from widespread diseases because her immunity is weak and help us to complete our educational journey, me and my brother

We, the displaced, live at the mercy of tents that neither shield us from the winter’s cold nor withstand the rain from the sky. Every night, we face winds that chill our children’s bodies, water that seeps into our bedding, and cold that robs us of rest💔💔.
It’s not easy to see your family shivering from the cold while you stand helpless. We don’t ask for much, just a little warmth and safety in the face of this harsh winter.
