Priest Bill AU??? (I genuinely don’t know what to call this 💀)
Aside from the whole amnesia au I thought of, I was coming up with another au.
A priest who genuinely wants to die, but he’s actually so incredibly (un?)lucky he can’t die. Every time he attempts, something goes wrong and it doesn’t work out. He obtains the Book of Bill, he uses this as a way to finally get what he so desired.
Bill successfully escapes the Theraprisma and his faith while the unnamed priest is finally dead. Unfortunately for Bill, he has to deal with a lot of the things the man had left behind. Double unfortunate, Bill is unable to use his powers. At the very least he can try to start a cult again, but he’ll have to try and be under the radar if he doesn’t want to get caught from the Pines family. The first thing that happens is getting attacked by an animal while trying to head to where the priest lives. The animal mainly attacked his face 💀
They’re lowkey freaking out though because Bill’s statue is missing, and Ford and Dipper going on their investigation trip to find any hints of Bill. Ford checks into the church and finds the priest, bro is taken aback seeing his face covered in bandages.
TBH I personally think the rest of this would be something like Bill and Ford getting along, but Ford isn’t aware of the fact that the priest is just getting along so well and knows how to say some of the right things as Bill, and then Bill is lowkey tweaking the fuck out because prior to all this, the unnamed priest never told him the demon anything about his life, let alone his name. However, as Bill starts to learn more about the priest from people who knew him personally, he realizes a bit that they are similar. Not identical, but it’s like seeing a warp mirror version. So Bill is like, “Holy shit, is this lowkey me if I was human?” type shit.
Add in the fact that Ford would eventually realize it was Bill, dear lord, can you imagine the angst? Ford yelled and was ready to kill Bill, remarking how he had tricked him again, meanwhile, the demon over here having an identity fucking crisis 💀
“You tricked me you bastard.”
“I fear I might be freaking the fuck out over here.”
Turns out, that priest's luck of not dying came in handy—because even when Ford tried to kill him, his gun didn’t go off when he pulled the trigger. It only went off when he had stopped pointing at Bill. Explanation? Idk, y’all I just provide the ideas y’all can use 💀
Extra—I've called him the unnamed priest, but I think his actual name would be Sergio :)
More Amnesia Bill AU
Amnesia Bill! I think it is a really bittersweet idea. I imagine they were going to do their ritual thing to get rid of him but after the ritual fails they opp on trying to kill him. Fortunately, no one can really bring themselves to kill him, since he’s so lost and confused about everything. Genieuly helpless and everyone just takes pity.
I said in my last post he would remember some things via dreams and shit, but I think the only thing he would remember in the start would be his parents. Can you imagine Ford mentally preparing himself to kill Bill, just to hear him talk about his parents so suddenly? I don’t think he would say a lot, but just like, “I was close with my mom. I don’t know where she is,” or something like that.
More about the whole regaining memories bit by bit, I swear up and down he would have a meltdown in the middle of the night because he regained the memory that HE DESTROYED HIS DIMENSION. Even though he keeps getting told it’s just a nightmare, it definitely wasn’t just a nightmare, he’s reliving the worst of the worst every night.
Slow a burn story. I fw the whole enemies to lovers but in this case, it’s a one-sided enemies shit. Ford (and everyone else as mentioned in the last post) hates Bill—Ford shows it, whether subtly or outright, he leans more into the subtleness of it all. After a while, he does realize Bill is genuinely powerless and not faking shit. He would be more sympathetic, but he definitely will still harbor the animosity for a while; however, Bill definitely fell in love during the time Ford was more sympathetic to him.
The start between them is like, Bill wanted to be friends with Ford because he seemed to know him like the back of his hand. Bill doesn’t have romantic feelings for Ford in the start, rather just this kind of desperation to cling to anything or anyone that can help him remember something, anything. Ford definitely didn’t like him, and any time Bill tried interacting with him, he either ignored him or walked away. Avoidance is key, but he can’t avoid the man forever. Eventually, they start to talk—more like Bill does the talking—Ford becomes a lot more invested whenever Bill talks about his memories. There were definitely times he got a bit worried Bill would remember their time together.
Bill's continuous nightmares would get so bad, Ford decided to stay with him for a night.
Last post, I said Mabel would be the only one to believe Bill, loosely. She shows her sympathy to him early on, but she’s still super weary of him. he helped him settle in a bit and when he needed to cry and tell someone about a new memory he regained, he’d always tell Mabel. Like his parents. A small conversation like this perchance?
“I wanted to show them the stars, that’s all I wanted. No one knew what I was talking about then. I wonder if they can see the stars now.”
“I’m sure they can now—hey, maybe they see you right now? I bet your parents would be happy to see where you are right now.”
“You reallY think they can see me?”
“Oh definitely. With your looks and personality, how can they miss you?”
While everyone is weary of Bill and lowkey trying to get rid of him, Bill is enjoying his time bonding with Mabel, even if she sometimes slips up and shows her suspicions towards him.
Bill's relationship with Stanley and Dipper is really rough. Like, genuinely, they don’t hide the fact they don’t like him, especially Dipper. Bill could be sweeping and then Dipper is in the back praying for his downfall. Dipper definitely shuns him and on some bad days, he does lash out at Bill. I don’t think their relationship would get super better over time, rather, I think it would become something like tolerance. As much as Dipper hates him, he doesn’t really have much of a say in what happens. He doesn’t show his hate toward him too much, occasionally they can have a decent conversation, but when push comes to shove, Dipper will definitely lash out at Bill again.
The same can be said about Stan, though I do think he would somewhat come around to like Bill. Not by much, just a bit. Just like Dipper, he would lash out, but he took a more teasing approach towards Bill, knowing it would definitely annoy the demon. Even if it went over Bill’s head, he definitely sensed him getting really agitated about it. He messes with Bill more so, his way of letting out his hate for him. Bill can tell Stan doesn’t like him, but he rather have to deal with stan’s antics than to be ignored all the time.

Amnesia Bill AU
I’m just saying Bill Cipher amnesia AU, where ten years has passed. He’s turned human and sent back to Earth and he has to be around the Pine family. He’s left genuinely confuse why everyone fucking hates him and makes poor attempts at trying to be friends with them 😭
Bonus points are that mostly everyone thinks he’s faking it, all the while this doofus is falling in love with Ford all over again and he occasionally remembers his past, via dreams or something—I guess the only person that would loosely believe Bill would be Mable.
It’ll be better if I write a short excerpt to this hold on:

The quietness of the room was enough to be mistaken for a funeral, though the atmosphere was intense, uneasy, and honestly—Bill felt as though any second he was going to be attacked by someone—he sat on the hardwood floor, being stared down to the group of people that dragged him to the place.
He tugged at the black turtleneck sweater, clearing his throat which he instantly regretted as he was met with a glare by the two older men. Identical they were, but Bill could spot some of the differences between them; like their chins, ears, and noses as well.
The unwelcoming atmosphere and the continued glares he was receiving. If he could, he’d get up and run out of the place, but he didn’t. It’s not like he can’t, but…the lack of knowing who he is, where he is, hell, he doesn’t even have half a mind to remember anything. These people though…despite the clear animosity in their eyes, their sense of them wanting to tear him apart—Bill couldn’t shake the feeling they know him—not just know him, but like, he was so crucial in their lives at some point.
“Bill,” one of the elder men spoke—grey hair, big glasses, the clothing looking similar to what Bill was wearing—though with colors such as red, beige, grey—he held his hands behind his back, he stood up straight though his head with slight tilted, perhaps out of curiosity? Granted, there was still a hint of malice directed towards him.
It took Bill a minute, but he pointed to himself, “Me? Oh, yeah, of course, who else would be called Bill,” he remarks, trying to cover up the sudden call to his name, “That’s my name, Bill… Bill… Bill…” he repeated it over and over again, trying to get a grasp of something, his surname.
“Cipher,” the man finished his sentence.
Bill eyed at him, “Cipher? Bill Cipher, oh that almost… rings a bell?” he mumbled before shrugging.
The room fell silent and suddenly there was a groan. It came from the young man who stood beside a girl, they looked identical, were they twins as well? The boy paces the room in circles going into a rambling fit, “Bill. Bill Cipher, demon—well, human right now but—” he groaned and came to a halt abruptly, “—you know us. Come on! The gig is up Bill!”
And again, Bill sat there, puzzled, ‘You know us’, echoed in his mind. A pang of guilt perhaps hit him. He felt a bit sorry now, considering that they confirmed his suspicions. He hesitated to speak, but he had to say something, anything. He glanced at the elder man who had spoken to him earlier—he walked over to him, moving his hands into his pocket—Bill caught a glimpse of his hand, was that an extra finger he saw? His gaze lingered back to the man, “I’m going to be honest here, uh—” he paused briefly, trying to think of a name, “—Sixer? Yeah, uh, I don’t, know any of you.”

Now I'm curious, why did you have the twins born in 1948 instead of going with canon and having them born in 1951?
Mostly because when I made the AU I had a difficult time finding the correct timelines and whatnot and went screw this and made my own, I still have a difficult time finding the correct timeline, if anyone has any resources that could help with the Gravity Falls timeline it would be a lifesaver, thanks for asking :3
I like that you made Shermie be 12 years older than the twins. Since he left at 17 when they were 5. I mean, I don't know if Shermie's birthday is before or after the twins' birthday. Like Shermie made 17 or was to made 18 when he left home? The twins made 5 or were going to make 6?

Okay so- In my trusty notes I have written down IN THIS AU that Shermie was born in 1936. Stan and Ford on the other hand were born in 1948. (This is NOT canon :O) That means that 1936-1948= 12, Also I MESSED MY YEARS up at first somehow and had to go back and change them (It didn't change anything)—> Ahah- also I will get into like… what happens with different years or whatever some other time because like… I never experienced those years and whatnot and I want to represent them correctly ;-;. Anyways, I don't have their birthdays really worked out yet. I do know Stan and Fords are both June 15th. Shermie on the other hand I don't know. I will make this a poll and the month that wins will be his month >:)
The twins were 4(in 1952)turning 5( in 1953) when Shermie left the house. Shermie was 16(in 1952) turning 17 (1953) [Shermie left in 1953]
I don't know what month Shermie totally 100% left the house but I know for a fact he WAS 17, meaning his birthday already happened before he left, It doesn't matter if Stan+Ford were 4 or 5 years of age because they wouldn’t remember him/maybe slight confusion of faint memories involving someone else BUT IN GENERAL they wouldn't know him. SO ALL MONTHS ARE OPEN—>

1. Stan's relationship overall with family is very, very terrible. Mainly because of his parents and what Ford did. Of course their parents just suck and Ford was being manipulated to do something he SHOULDN’T have done… of course he did it anyways -_-. Anyways Cannon Stanley tends to protect his family with everything and trust them with his heart. Yeah uh- 11B Stan doesn't have a good running for a “Good family” hah- what's that? Because of the points above and to add onto that Rico and all his jazz→ A main thing Rico says alot is that his group is a big “family” and they have to look out for each other. And then again when 11B Stan has a run in with eugh… Jimmie→ Yeah Stan doesn't like or want a family ;-;. He is very skeptical. The only person he trusts is Ford even after the horrible thing he had done. All the other stuff outweighs it in his mind making Ford probably the safest person he has known… Other than Caryn.
2+3. 11BStan absolutely hates both of their parents, especially Filbrick unlike the cannon Stan who tends to think that people are always right for whatever they say about him, 11BStanley isn't, this is because of how he was bullied in my AU and how everything was different in my AU making Stan more apt to stand up for himself, specifically if its Filbrick because he doesn't want anything that happens to him to happen to Ford. He doesn't do much with the bullies but he does for their Father. Fillbrick is abusive in this AU towards the whole family due to his own self-esteem issues of course haha- ha… :( anyway, he abuses Stan and Ford both however because Stan pushed himself to purposely snap back at Filbrick it was delayed when Ford started getting abused.
With their mother Caryn Stan thinks she is more of a push over… She is too. Filbrick tends to yell alot and Caryn can't deal with it resulting in drinking as a solution. Drinking makes your judgment bad and she tends to act on it by saying whatever is on her mind. It tends to make hurtful comments but she wont ever hurt anyone by hitting them or whatnot like Filbrick would do. Stan also doesn't like her business which is a “phone psychic” he sees it as lying and doesnt like it. But he doesn't do anything about it and also the “tips” he learned from her actually come in handy when he becomes homeless.
Stan and Ford both tend to have a bad relationship with both of their parents but they both lean towards their mother and definitely spent more time with her. Their Father wasn't around all the time and was always out of the pawnshop doing other “whatever he does” stuff.
4. Shermie is older than both of the twins in this AU, but he left when he was 17 and signed up for the army due to pressure from his father ;-; (their parents are absolutely horrible in this—> it doesn't get better) So Shermie left to the army because Pa wants the money that comes with it. His mother was telling him not to but Pa had too much influence over him and he left anyway. Pa was guilt tripping him into thinking it was a good way to get money to help out with the family because Stan and Ford/ Stan and Ford were “accidents;-;” and they “didn't have the money for that. Stan and Ford were both five years old when he did this in my AU. (I have no clue how old their parents are;-;) Basically, Shermie ends up going MIA and never meets Stan or Ford. And because their parents suck they never mention Shermie once… Mainly because—Ma (It's too hard on her and she doesn't want to burden her sons with the loss of one of their brothers) and Pa (Who thinks there is no reason to bring it up). Then again Shermie when MIA was missing in action brought a new mystery if he died or not ;) I will have this explored in my story eventually when I get to it. I literally can't wait to have them both go WHAT? We had another brother!?! And then they go on a mission to find their long-lost brother.
5. But Shermie knew the twins existed of course and loved them very much, he sent them letters regularly that never made it to them…
