so caseys story happens like after tkm probably like late 2007 early 2008, he is about 9-11 years old so he was roughly born in 97-98 due to him being born in mid november, uhhh timeline shit but oh well.

so uhh I just finished playing what remains of Edith finch and good god, that game deserves more l9ve its so like beautiful crafted the voice acting is amazing its like such a great game that I cat really put into words but the story is so amazing literally cried at some points

And STILL many people are saying he was a dumb king! Even with him not recieving any preparation, his ideas would've eliminated the biggest problems that the Greens are facing now.

I think that aemond was born before the wedding in ep 5 but in the show aegon is 20-19 so aemond should be 17-16 and helaenas only like two years younger than aegon so she'd be 18-17 purely basing this on the fact alicent was pregnant with helaena when aegon was two but like the timeline is such a mess because even of they followed the book timeline daeron was 13 when the war started and 16 when he yk but he was always the same age as jace in the book the two were fed from the same wet nurse.

I know people have made and it puts aegon as 2 in the year 115ac and helaena as 1 in 116 it doesn't show aemonds birth year but in the book it was 110 so in fire and blood helaena was born 109 so in the book the two are a year apart while daeron and jace were both born in 114 but it doesn't make sense for them to be born that year in the show as alicent was pregnant with helaena in 115, so the book years of ppl being born is as followed

nah fr the timeline is a jumbled mess, cuz like he's 16 in the show same age as jace which makes sense for the two being born the same year just a few months apart however unlike the book where the war starts in 129ac the show has it start in 130ac meaning the war will likely end in 132ac instead of 131ac and then for daeron to be 16 in the show he'd have been born in 114ac which doesn't make any sense as 114ac in the show happens like s1 ep 3-4 like make it make sense

THIS those kids are so fucking interesting to me like those four where screwed the moment they were all born, aegon was like most likely an infant when people started to think about him being on the throne instead of rhaenyra like their all so tragic helaena being cursed to know that she and her siblings and children will die is just *chefs kiss* aemond losing his eye due to claiming a dragon agted being bullied for not having one, daeron being sent away to live at old Town not really knowing his siblings all that well but willing to die to protect and avenge his family is just *cries* alicent the mother out living all of her children (and I think grandchildren 2) and hating the colour green, the same colour of the dress she wore to be her own person to defend her children and fight for them

like obviously the team black/team green divide is stupid and missing the point of the dance and like obviously the show is written with a rhaenyra bias but likeeeeeee. HOW can you not be endlessly compelled by how irretrievably doomed the team green kids are. how can you not be intrigued and endeared by how narratively fucked these poor stupid teenagers are. pov: you were born to be a weapon in a civil war started by people who don’t care about you. that is the reason for your existence. you are obviously fated to die young and tragic and everybody knows it. you are a team green kid.

I have nothing against young alicent I love her but older alicent being given the scene of right after jaehaerys instead of aegon will forever pain me LIKE THEY HAD THE CHANCE TO DO IT AND DIDNT why I will forever wish to know, plus we would have got to see the aftermath of that scene in the next one like why they so obsessed with alicent like I get it she's like a main character for some reason but the war is between aegon and rhaenyra for the throne.

btw if there's any fanfics where it is aegon finding out right after instead of alicent tell me I'd eat that shit up so fast

I really don't understand the desire of the screenwriters to make absolutely everything in this series revolve around Alicent. Don't get me wrong, I love her, but all the events of the series REALLY don't need to be focused on her. Show me how Helaena runs to Aegon with her daughter in her arms. She finds him in the throne room and the whole company freezes, seeing her in tears, with a cut on her neck. The smile fades from Aegon's face when he realizes that something irreparable has happened. He sobers up immediately. Finish the episode on his face when Helaena says that Jaehaerys was killed and after we were watching the development of Aegon's relationship with his son, it'll hurt. Let me see the moment when he realizes that while he was getting drunk with friends on the throne, his son was being killed. Show me his eyes when he realizes that the fragile happiness he had was destroyed and he couldn't prevent it in any way. Children are the only thing these two have in common, it's their tragedy, don't take it away from them.

honestly tho they so would like yes they have a dysfunctional family but they care about each other they'd do a lot for each other, and like they want me to believe that show aemond is aemond from the book like I'm sorry but that is two diffrent people so glad the shows it's own canon and the books are their own canon
