heyy i saw that you watched the breakfast club and was wondering if you could do some headcanons for dating alison would like? (w a female reader maybe?)

Sure! Sorry for doing this request a bit late and sorry for making you wait. I know I missed some scenes, i didn’t know how to add that in. It’s my first time doing this and I feel like it’s not really that good. Either way, hope you enjoy!

At first, during the relationship, Allison is shy. Doesn’t talk much while with you but you don’t mind. Instead of talking you both share glances and smiles here and there.

Because she doesn’t have any experience with relationships of any kind, she’s reluctant to do the whole dating thing or even start anything that might hurt her later.

But after some conversations here and there, she starts to come out of her shell and talk more about herself.

After that, it leads to both of you to spend time together, sometimes holding hands, and the other times telling each other secrets. Allison trusting you enough to talk about her home life.

Sometimes, Allison coming to your house to spend the night there, away from her parents.

While the both of you are dating, you don’t really hide the relationship, but you don’t shout it out to the world.

So, when the both of you got detention and sat at the back of the library, with the other four in front of you both.

You still do what you both normally do, not caring about the people in the room.

When Vice Principle Vernon comes in yelling about the door and looks directly at Allison, causing her to slam her head down onto the table, you turn your head to glare at him until he looks somewhere else, whilst your hand is holding onto

hers under the table.

Whilst the others are smoking weed, that Bender grabbed from his locker, you end up leaning against Allison, unable to stop yourself giggling whilst watching the others.

Her smiling back at you while listening to what you are saying or when you are just talking in general.

When the others find out about the both of you, you just shrug your shoulders while Allison glares at all of them, daring them to say anything.

Allison is a very, very protective girlfriend.

During the time when everyone is dancing you’re seen dancing with Allison before she moves to dance around the statue and then on the table.

You sit back and watch her dance, sometimes laughing at her moves.

When Allison had her make-up change by Claire, your first reaction was to stare with your mouth open and when she shouts “What?!”, your response was, “you’re pretty.” Which makes her blush.

You both do end up walking out of the library, holding hands and smiling at each other.

When Allison reaches her car, she’s the one to build up the courage to kiss you.

Which then ends up with the both of you to make out for a bit before breaking apart.

After that, you both text it each other, sometimes in the messages, you ensure that Allison knows that you like her a lot and that you won’t leave from her.

while I wait for 15 hours for the votes to be done (I'm impatient I'm trying to be patient it's just 15 hours idc if it isn't on point its technically 15 hours) here are some facts about elio

number one: elio has curly hair, like 3A-3C curly hair depending on if its cared for

number two: elio has no concept of gender (this is due to having been raised on the run)

number three: like how neil upped his age by a year elios age is upped by a year as well (he was orginal born in 2002 the day and month are the same)

number four: between Christmas and January Allison decided to work on elios hair getting it back to its natural state (the sketch/drawing I'm doing has his natural hair so yay)

number five: elio can't swim at all he also has a fear of the water

number six: when elio was a infant (and even now because he's short for his age) neil used to cary neil on his front with one of those baby wrap things under baggy shirts ad sweaters

number seven: before baltimore, the girls had taken elio out with them and he had picked out a yellow dress with sunflowers all over it (letting this kid explore his gender which is more than I can say for all my other kid ocs in general)

number eight: elio did try to take the racoon home with the foxes when it came time to leave the cabins it took about five minutes into the drive for aaron to point out the noise from the boot

number nine: Kevin had tried to get elio into exy but it didn't go over well as elio had just started furiously signing in ASL to the point that even neil struggled to keep up

number ten: the monsters dorm room cupboards have at least about 2 massive tubs of strawberry milk (nesquik cuz I think that was the cheapest at the time, it's basically just the cheapest one okay I'm not good at prices)

alright guys I will try and get some more elio sketches/drawings out by like tomorrow/tonight maybe as I'm gonna be kinda busy but I can still take my ipad places with me, low-key wish I had an apple pen now but I don't I do have my trusty stilius stylus idk how it's spelt so yeah that's legit what I used to do elios character sheet the more you know

some more little info is that elio dislikes exy, he knows it's important to Neil and so he just bears it, he sits on the benches at practise but hardly pays attention to the game.

(this is like au talk rn I think so like seth lives aus talk) if seth had lived than elio would have been babysat by seth and Allison whenever the monsters went to edens if elio didn't wanna tag along (that's like nontfc talk so like probably roughly some where in trk)

onto how elio and seth found out that the kid is obsessed with mac and cheese is basically where neil went to night practise but left elio at the dorm so the boy could sleep. however obviously elio couldn't sleep and so seth had gestured for him to follow him to the kitchen and just grabbed some things from the cupboard such as {instant ramen, kraft mac and cheese(or whatever mac and cheese), cereal} elio hadn't ever had mac and cheese that wasn't from like a cheap dinnor [dinner,dinnar] so he poked at the box and seth cooked the full box {idk why} he put some in one of those plastic kid bowls {it had racoons on it} and elio tried it and got like a look of awe on his face and just started to scarf it down, seth had to like drag the bowl away so he wouldn't choke because of quickly he was eating, he then proceed to write a small note reading "your kid likes kraft mac and cheese nearly ate the whole thing, cooked full box so leftovers in the fridge" and he stuck it to the fridge with a magnet

short info: like Neil, Elio’s documentation is fake however, like how Neil has a legal identity Elio had one for a few weeks before mary had a death certificate made for a Aurelio Nat Wesneski much to Abram’s dismay, when coach Wymack came to recruit Neil, Elio had went to wait in one of the stalls in the locker and heared people talking but decided to wait, when Andrew had hit Neil in the gut with the racquet Elio ended up coming out of the stall worried and angry at the blonde, Neil waited till after the others had left to scold Elio for coming out of hiding.

on the plan ride Elio had clung to Neil as he’s scared of planes, after arriving Elio isnt as quick as Neil at picking up the difference between the twins gets worried for himself no Neil when hearing germen, disliked staying at Womack’s due to Neil being worried, stayed with matt and seth instead of going to columbia but mainly stayed under the bed covers hidden, when Neil got back to the dorms Elio clung to him again, when Neil and Andrew made the deal Neil explained it to Elio when the seats got rearranged Elio curled up on Neils lap or sat on the floor right by Neils legs.

Elios favourite fox at the time became seth as the guy has knowledge of raising kids, and he had found out about Elios love for mac and cheese, he had also gifted Elio a racoon plush toy [yes I've given seth a slight character thing even tho it was basically only Allison and Elio seeing it as he was an ass to everyone else]

so the new aftg oc is Neil's younger sibling they were about 2 years old when Mary took neil and them on the run (I say about 2 because neil was 10 when he and his mom went on the run in 98 and the unnamed oc (finding names is so fucking hard) was born somewhere between 96 and 97 so yeah, so as of the start of tfc the oc would be about 9-10 and then in tkm would be about 10-11 if that makes sense to people (I'm legit reading on timelines so that this makes sense from a fic point of view and like Mary died at 38 putting neil at 17 and the oc at like 8-9 depending on what month I have this kid born, I do have a drawing already done using a base/reference from mellon_soup so I will post that after I find a name for this kid, if you lot wanna give name recs you can

so caseys story happens like after tkm probably like late 2007 early 2008, he is about 9-11 years old so he was roughly born in 97-98 due to him being born in mid november, uhhh timeline shit but oh well.

casey was an only kid but he did have an older cousin, casey's home life wasn't the best (cuz yk fox and all) uhhh other stuff ummm, right why casey ran intl the foxes and what state was he in to the point it worried probably a few of them, the state our little casey was in was bad, he had bruises,blood stains this is because of something I am withholding cuz I'm a bitch and I don't give away all my secrets.

Can we talk about how unbelievably normal Kevin would've been if he wasn't the Son Of Exy? I mean seriously, even with that he's a history major. A history major. His mother died in a car crash, he was abused for over half his life, he ran away to live with his illegitimate father and yet he is still tries so hard to be normal. When Andrew gets at him for having no spine, it makes me so unspeakably mad because yes! of course he's scared! His abuser is chasing him across the country to his safe space and is torturing and killing his friends!

Kevin pretty much grew up in a cult and his response is to avoid confrontation with them because opening his mouth has always meant incurring Riko's wrath; it's better for everyone to take the path of least resistance- sit down, shut up and don't cause any problems. Kevin is pretty much the fawn response to Andrew's fight and Neil's flight and it's so annoying how critical of Kevin everyone was. He was trying his goddamn best and when Wymack literally had to tackle Kevin in his apartment to calm him down showed us how much pain and fear he was in, how much he had always been in.

He grew up in a cage and he never got the outlet Neil had when he ran, or when Andrew lashed out and got shipped somewhere else. Kevin Day deserved the life he was owed and he finally got it when he went to Palmetto. He finally got to play exy on his own terms, went pro, made the US Court AND got a family- Wymack, Abby, and Thea. Not only them, but the Foxes too. Neil and Andrew, Nicky, Aaron, Dan, Matt, Allison and Renee. He got everything he deserved in the end and yes that is the success story we all needed for him.

Neil being regarded for the moment....were sll in agreement the Nathaniels bestie would be Allison yes?

the short version of this post: allison reynolds is such a underrated character whose trauma is too often overlooked 

the long version:

one of the most common criticisms about allison is that she’s too cold/uncaring. i don’t want to make this a whole post about sexism, but i will say this: it’s shitty to hate a female character for the same reasons you love male characters in the same series. this happens too often in literature (not just aftg) and it’s exhausting. you can obviously have preferences and favourites, but loving andrew for his apathy and hating allison for hers isn’t the vibe. there are valid arguments that people can use to defend their favourites without being hypocritical and sexist

on that note! allison’s apathy isn’t just because she wants to be bitchy - it’s absolutely something that she learned while living with her parents. she would’ve gone to social gatherings where masking your actual emotions is essential and expected, and then she’d have gone home and have her dreams and aspirations bashed and ridiculed by her parents. it’s only natural that she would hide behind that icy persona in order to guard herself. i’m willing to bet that she pretended not to care when her parents disowned her, and only let herself fall apart when she was completely alone. it would have taken her a long time to be vulnerable in front of others

allison’s just become a really great actress who doesn’t let people get close enough to actually see her. it’s a coping mechanism and it’s how she protects herself from hurting more than she already is

and somewhere (i can’t for the life of me remember if this is in the books or the ec, but anyway), it’s mentioned that allison doesn’t get presents from randy. partly because anything that she can afford anything she wants, but also because she doesn’t have a parent figure to talk to, and randy subs in as a mother figure for her. remember that scene where nicky asked neil to convince andrew to go to thanksgiving in columbia, and remember how heartbreaking it was when he said he missed his mom? allison feels the same thing. (some key differences in the actual situations, but the gist of it? she misses her mom so desperately that she clings to any sort of motherly affection she can get)

okay anyway, that’s enough rambling about allison for today. i’m hoping to start posting more allison content, because even though it doesn’t do as well, i love her sm

no fucking wonder mary never let neil make any friends on the run. for someone whose survival depended on anonymity and being anyone but himself, he was absolutely horrible at hiding any aspect of his personality for longer than 2 seconds of actual human interaction

ooo this is fun! (it got very long very fast hahah sorryyy). here’s what i’ve got for you:

(coarse language ahead, obviously)

dan mostly swears at people. by this, i mean she doesn’t usually swear if she stubs her toe or is running late, only if someone pisses her off

her favourite ones are asshole and motherfucker, but she’s also fond of dick

kevin isn’t picky with his swear words - he’ll use whatever gets the point across

however, he loves swearing in french, and his fave french curse is “putain à la merde”, which loosely translates to fucking shit

andrew opts for fuck and fuck you most of the time. in english, because he usually wants everyone to understand him if he swears

that said, he doesn’t often have to swear - his stare says it well enough

matt curses not only when he’s mad, but also when he gets excited (so basically, he swears a lot)

his faves are holy hell/fucking hell and frick frack crack-a-lack (bc of the looks the foxes give him when he says it)

aaron’s favourite english swear words are bullshit and moron, but he especially enjoys the casual german curse word “scheiße” and uses it very often

seth goes right for the throat. he’s not afraid to use the f slur or c*nt, especially around the foxes (two swear words that i’m nervous to even type out LMAO) 

in more public settings, he opts for jesus christ and shit

allison loves saying bitch/son of a bitch (bc people call her a bitch all the time so she just turns it around)

worth noting that she swears at inanimate objects more than at people - her curling iron when it burns her, her phone when she drops it, anything she bumps into, etc

nicky, like aaron, is fond of german curse words. his are generally more colourful though, since he learned more german slang and bc swear words are the first thing he got erik to teach him

in english, nicky likes kiss my ass and damn. he also enjoys making up random insults sometimes, like calling someone an untied shoelace or a stale piece of bread. medicated andrew found this very entertaining

renee doesn’t swear - she destroys people with condescension and passive-agressiveness

before she was born-again, she was fond of using fuck (twinning w andrew xoxo)

neil will use literally anything, in any language. typically he morphs his curses to fit whatever culture he’s currently immersed in. some examples:

america: fuck/fucker

britain: wanker and prick

france: merde, salope, and va te faire enculé (shit, bitch, and go fuck yourself)

germany: flachwischer and du fickfehler (~fuckiwit/motherfucker and you mistake*)

wymack always mixes it up. flying fuck, pain in my ass, what the absolute shit, goddamnit, etc. he doesn’t have a favourite; he likes them all

abby’s pretty tame, usually. her most frequently used are crap, what the hell, and christ. if she stubs her toe, she normally says frick. wymack thinks it’s adorable

*i don’t actually speak german, besides very basic beginner duolingo stuff, so those translations are just what i found on random websites

do you have any headcannons (andreil or otherwise) that are unpopular within the aftg fandom? and by unpopular i mean you haven’t seen them done/mentioned by anyone yet.

oh man, i love hc asks! i appreciate you giving me permission to let my mind run wild. and tysm, that’s really sweet!! 

(these are in no particular order. i haven’t seen any of them done before, but i also haven’t read all of the aftg hcs, so i apologize if there are any that you’ve already seen! CW: scars, bad family relationships... i think that’s it?)

kevin dog ears the pages of his books 

(he didn’t have any actual bookmarks at the nest and would rather just fold the pages than use a random scrap of paper)

in france, they greet by kissing each other on the cheeks (1-4 times, depending on the area). so, i propose that jeremy does his research and decides to greet jean at the airport with 2 “bises” (as is custom in marseilles). it’s second nature to jean, and he returns it without thinking. eventually that’s how all the trojans greet each other

bonus: the trojans greet the foxes like that at a match. most are confused, andrew stands off to the side and (understandably) refuses, nicky’s enthusiastic, and neil and allison reciprocate perfectly

the foxes write letters to each other when they no longer share dorms! especially neil, since he’s the worst at answering via technology

the letters include little doodles in the margins, pictures in the envelopes (mostly from dan), and other little things that can fit

all of the foxes have created spots designated for the letters

allison commissions a set of 10 custom garden gnomes that look like each teammate for all of the (og) foxes’ houses (and also wymack). while the reactions vary, everyone keeps them (some display them in their yards and some do not)

renee journals and presses flowers

allison reads classic poetry and novels

matt and dan get neil to paint lil fox paws around their house, wherever he wants to. they always smile when they see them

wymack has scars similar to andrew’s. he used to always wear long sleeves bc of it, but he covered them up with the flame tattoos and proudly displays his arms now

the foxes as a whole tend not to like rainy or snowy days bc bad weather = staying inside, which isn’t ideal when you have a horrible home environment (and for neil it meant running was harder)

they generally all end up in the same room on bad weather days, without planning it. no ones mentions the reason, but everyone feels a bit calmer with their found family around

neil and andrew start up a collection of black glass figurines in their home (like bee’s but opposite)

the foxes have a way easier time buying gifts for andreil once this collection is started, and it grows exponentially

neil doesn’t love ice cream but he has taken a liking for froyo

he doesn’t really care what he eats, but andrew notices that neil eats a lot more of it a lot faster, and fruit-flavoured froyo becomes neil’s usual frozen treat 

it’s also what caused him to experience his first brain freeze bc he’d never consumed a frozen food so fast before
