He just woke up in the butterfly estate

"Huh?" Sanemi asked for like the fifth time.

"Y/n had a child big brother." Genya laughed presenting the baby is his arms for his brother to hold.

The baby now is the arms of his uncle giggle and made grabby hands toward his hair.

Sanemi was in pure disbelief, he never would've thought he'd alive, especially not holding a baby after their war.

He knows he's been a shitty brother and he was ready to change and become a great uncle

From the outside it might look like Genya is the "mean" one and you the shy one but actually its the opposite. Most people found that out the hard way.

Genya always spoke positively of his brother and when you met him it was not what you were expecting. He would also compare you to him.

Sanemi was intimidating no doubt about it but so were.

Okay so first things first, no matter the body shape or anything, he is still blushing SO HARD around you, regardles of the gender.

If anyone would ever make a comment about your curves or weight, he would 100% jump in, defending you and most likey yelling at the person who said smt bad / made you uncomfortable

Even if you are dating or not, he would give you some of his food, I think that as we know from taisho era secrets, he didn't eat anything for some time so imagine him giving u his portions while in butterfly estate, and just imagine his bright red face as he is giving u food.. Or he would sometimes just leave it in your room/by ur bedside ( depends if you work there and have ur room, or you are a slayer and just pass by)

One of his favorite things to do is lie in your lap 100%%%, but he is a shy boy as we know so he would first need to build up the confidence to ask you.. And then some more to lie on ur lap ( if you accept)

Now, if you are a girl, from time to time he would like to lie on your chest, hugging your waits, giving soft squizes on ur stomach plush, showing you just how much he loves you as he leaves soft kisses anywere he can ( tho keep in mind this would be after a pot of time making him more comftable w pyh. Affection and all)

Okay so, at first Genya wouldn't understand what r u so scared about, and Probably would be super mean about it,but after you start dating and he find put about your fears he will try his best to comfort you <3

Once you told him how you feel so safe around him, he would stare at you with so much love, because he is so glad that you feel that way with him

I think he would be that kind of guy who would lock ur pinkies together if he sences ( or you tell him) that you feel un-easy in crowded places.

It was a dark night, you, him, and kamaboko squad had a mission together.. Wich is chaotic with you and Zenitsu screaming on every noise u hear. At some point Tanjiro ( the only one w brain in the group) said it would be best is we all split up into groups to find the demon easier. You, Genya and Inosuke ended uo being together.. Well betzer off to say only you and ur bf Genya since Inosuke couldn't stand being with you two and ran off in forest, yelling how this is his kingdom and you are all his servents of some kind.. Genya noticed u feel a bit uneasy about something at first but didn't say anything about it untill he noticed your blank face staring at a dark figure in the bush... A demon figure to be precise.. Genya realized you are frozen is fear and jumped in to help you, killing the demon with his gun.( idk what i did to the letters here, don't mind it 💀)

"Hey y/n! You okay whats wrong?! "He asks you with worried look in his eyes

"AAAAHHH DEMON WAS SO SCARY! AND UGLY! GENYAAAAAAAA I WANNA GO HOME!" you said while crying out clinging to his side, wich made him flustered as hell

"well we took care of the demon.. Maybe we will have to stay for hour or so more just to make sure there are no more demons... Don't worry tho.. I am here" he said as he hugged you, getting even more flustered ( if its possible)

Aa the night went on, you got back together in group w Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke.. The rest of the night was filled with Inosuke chasing you and Zenitsu with all kinds of bugs, you two screaming in fear, just wanting to go home and Tanjiro holding Genya back so he dosn't make pork sticks out of the boar man aka Inosuke..

Okay so one of the first reasons he fell in love with you in the first place was because you were always so kind to him,even before you 2 accualy started dating, tho with both of you being shy, it would take a while for you to start dating or talking in general

He loves how gentle you are, that you have accepted him just the way he is. He loves it when you gently place butterfly kisses on his scar. He is so happy with your positive personality, because anytime he has trouble with his brother, you are there for him to hug him telling him everything will be okay.

Lets say some random night, you went out in city for a date night. He was hoping to see lots of things since he ( and most of other demon slayers) don't have much time to explore the cities. But a thing he didn't know was that you know this town. It was the town when it happend. You tried to ignore the unwell feeling you had as you were walking, untill you saw him. The one who kidnaped you. The man who made you live in fear. He was right across the steet having a close eye on you,Genya noticed it pretty guickly, giving the man a glare, taking your hand to leave this filthful place.

As you got home, you told him about what happened, an he couldn't belive it How could they do it to you? . You, as someone who is so kind. Someone who is so lovely and beautiful. Someone who wouldn't hurt a fly. How come anyone to it to his s/o.

~Rainy day/thunderstorm headcannons

(⚠️Some spoilers ⚠️)

Okay so since he is a slayer, you guys don't have that much time tp spend with each other anyways exept for when u are on a mission together or the butterfly estate.

So that leads us on these 2 situations on a Rainy day:

1st one :

If you are on a mission, after killing demon and waiting for ur next mission, most likely be forced to spend time and take shealter at some old house ( and if ur lucky to be close to Wistera house/estate its a bonus). Lying on old tatami mat he would pull u closer in hope to keep u warm and protected. You would just lie there close to eachother while listening to raindrops fall from and hit the rooftop above you 2,with a few comforting sounds of thunders in the back ( tho if you are scared of thunders he would pull you just closer while trying to comfort u, saying that whatever happeneds, he will be there for you, hugging you close trying to hide his flustered face)

2nd one : If you are at home, since u are home, it wouldn't ve that big of a deal about keeping eachother warm.. He would just lie in bed next to you as you read, looking at you w so much love, thinking about how lucky he is to have such a kind, beautiful/handsome s/o, who loves him no matter what, who is always there for him and he is always there for them, who knows just right how to comfort him, who makes him weak in kneens whenever they show him even a bit of affection, someone who never jugded him based of his looks , someone who he will love for the rest of his life as he keeps thinking about all the things he loves about you, tho will never be able to tell u w/o almost passing out, you look at him and laugh a bit, knowing very well what he wants, wich is to put his head and ur lap and play with his hair ( i think his hair is so fluffy, change my mind.). He loves your voice, and he would love if yous start reading to him, tell him about your day or any kind of story from ur life, tho don't be surprised if you notice this big baby fell asleep on ur lap. Same as the previus headcannon, if you are scared of thunders, he would comfort u best he can. Okay so since Genya is bad at math, you would be glad to help him out, because if he fails another exam again Sanemi would prob kick his ass and send him to summer school ( we will act like you know math even if you don't.)

After the award reciving incident, you would prob need to comfort poor bby, because he is already really shy and getting yelled at by his brother in front of whole school... Yea.. He would be so greatful to have u by his side at times like these. ( buy him watermelon as a gift and award from u for winning the 1st place bby would be over the moon fr)

Another thing, he is tall boy and w his scar people that don't accualy know him that much ( most people exept you and his classmates/friends) would think that he is in a gang or smt so it would start a lot of rumors and he gets rlly sad about it yet dosn't want to show it so just give him some love and affection after these situations and he will be back to his old self in no time.

Outside the school, lets say his siblings are still alive, since Sanemi is a grown ass man he ofc lives on his own, so Genya always helps his mother around the house ( also, lets say his father is eather dead or in jail for family abuse because the old man deserves it), and when u come over his siblings would be all over you, they are all happy that their brother has such cute and cool s/o! When we talk about his mother, his mom would be glad he found someone he loves, and she knows how much u help him in school and w his mental health, as well as she is greatful that u always wanna help around the house and she knows that u are the one for his son.

Last headcannon is that, as we know, sanemi mostly started " hating" Genya because he called him a monster for killing their mother, since in this au his mom is alive, I don't think there would be any specific reason from Sanemi to hate Genya ( yes ik it dosn't match w what that manga panel said so it all confuses me if yall know what I mean :'))
