Legs tangled in gray sheets. The lightning-quick flash of a silver dagger, held by a pale hand.
The images in the dream are more like fragments- impossible to discern and decipher. On the bed, asleep and vulnerable. . .
There’s you.
And then Feyd wakes up, heart hammering in his chest so hard he can feel it in his throat. Slowly his fingers crawl up, up, up the expanse of the bed in search of something. In search of warmth, of you. Nothing. He’s just as alone in his room as he was when he drifted off into sleep. He lays awake the rest of the night, tossing and turning with worry.
This dream felt more like a warning than just another disjointed nightmare. It felt real. He was used to having dreams every now and again which clearly depicted a future outcome. He saw you in his dreams quite often, more so once he was no longer a boy-child.
If someone thought to hurt you… he’d just have to hurt them first.
The customs you and your people practiced were completely different to those that were normal on Geidi Prime. You watched one of your ladies-in-waiting as she brought over another small bowl of sweet smelling bath salts, dumping it in and using her hand to properly dissolve them. For a moment you felt self conscious, running your fingers through your hair as you looked at their perfect complexions and shaved heads. What did they see when they looked at you? Someone beautiful and strange. . . or an alien?
Still, you would eventually have to disrobe and bathe. Pressing your luck and refusing their help would only solidify your place as an outsider. You were sure that whispers of your arrival were already spreading like wildfire, and it was almost guaranteed that no one was happy about it. An Atreides amongst Harkonnen’s? You were nothing more than a pariah on their industrial wasteland of a planet.
The air was even more acrid in your lungs than it had been the night before, and while the smell of the rose body oils and salts were thick and hazy in your room, you could still catch the scent of pollution. Already you missed the cool, crisp air of Caladan. You missed your horses, your parents and your brother to the point of pain. This was not where you belonged. Not here in Geidi Prime. Not here with Feyd-Rautha.
The urge to cry yourself hoarse was practically undeniable, and yet you somehow managed to resist. You were late to breakfast already, and surely the Baron was making some unsavory comments about your family and their taught “manners”. So you untied the front of your nightdress and shimmied out of it, letting the soft cotton pool at the ground beneath your feet. The women couldn’t help but gawk at the tiny imperfections they saw there- a beauty mark you’d had since you were a child, a scar you’d received while training with Gurney. You weren’t used to feeling so self conscious, and so you were quick to grab one of the women’s extended hands so that you could sit down in the murky bath water.
They rubbed floral smelling soaps into your hair and on your skin, making sure to handle you as though you were as fragile as porcelain. You wished they would scrub you raw. Even then they wouldn’t be able to cleanse you of your fears. You were in the hands of the Harkonnen’s now.
No one could save you.
“We are not very used to styling hair, my lady. It might not be to your liking.” One of the women said anxiously. The way that her hands shook as she gripped the hairbrush was not lost on you.
How cruelly were they treated here? Or even worse- what did she think of the Atreides family? What lies had they poisoned these people’s impressionable minds with? You didn’t care to dwell too much on such thoughts. Reaching out you gently removed the brush from her hands, flashing her the kindest smile you could muster before shaking your head.
“Leave this to me then. Why don’t you pick something for me to wear from my things?” Your bags were still packed, lying exactly where a few servants had laid them last night. You had denied every offer to have them unpacked for you.
Denial. You refused to believe that you were actually stuck here. This would never be your home. It couldn’t be.
“He’s not here,” Feyd was sitting at a long, slate-gray table by himself. The food on his plate had barely been touched, but he had busied himself with chopping the meat up into miniscule pieces, too small to even fit on the prongs of his fork. “If you were planning on trying to make a good impression, you can forget about it. He always has his food sent to his quarters.”
You thanked the two ladies that had shown you through the colorless halls under your breath, moving to sit on the other side of the table. At least eight chairs separated you from the Na-baron and it still wasn’t enough. You wished you were on an entirely different planet, lightyears away from the Harkonnen scum.
The room was practically empty aside from the large dining room table. No art decorated the walls or rugs to cover the floor. It was all cold, black marble with white accents.
“I don’t care, actually.” And you were being truthful. You didn’t care about getting on the Baron’s good side any more than you cared about getting on Feyd’s.
He smiled then, staring at you long and hard before licking one of his black painted canines. He was amused by the blase way you brushed off his uncle so easily. Indifference wasn’t something he was used to, especially not when everyone in the galaxy had tried so hard to get on their good sides. People tended to tread lightly as far as the Harkonnens were concerned. They were as wealthy as they were cunning.
“Be careful, little Atreides. Saying things like that might get you hurt around here.” His gruff voice was but a whisper now, and suddenly you felt as though there weren’t twelve feet of dead-air separating the two of you.
You had picked up your fork, ready to eat whatever bland food had been prepared for you, but froze at his words. Heat rose to your cheeks and you were quick to lean back in the ornate high-backed chair, the cool iron seeping into your back through your clothes.
“Do you mean to threaten me?” Your words were icy, tongue sharp and ready to give him a proper lashing.
“It’s not a threat, darling.” He was practically purring, reveling in the joy of referring to you whilst using a pet name. It suddenly looked as though a switch had been turned on, his eyes narrowing on you. “I know him far better than you do. He’s killed people for far less. Be careful.” There seemed to be something he wasn’t telling you. There was genuine warning in his tone.
A pause.
“Please.” And then he went back to eating.
So were you supposed to act gutted at his uncle’s absence? You picked up the fork and took a bite of whatever had been put on your plate. It wasn’t at all what you were used to. Even the food tasted. . . fake. The meat tasted like it had been pumped full of chemicals and was mealy in your mouth, like sand. Still, you swallowed despite your distaste and shoved the plate away from you.
“Who have you assigned to be my sparring partner? I’m sure that my father made your uncle aware that I train daily, correct?” If you didn’t physically exert yourself and blow off some steam then you were bound to get no sleep tonight.
Last night you had tossed and turned, unable to stay asleep when your body was constantly alerting you to possible dangers. Even now you were on high alert, eyes locked on the knife that sat on the right side of Feyd’s plate. Your own fingers danced towards yours it you watched. Waited. Worried.
“Training?” He tilted his head again, eyes narrowed in disbelief. You could almost see the cogs turning as he mulled over your words. “What good would training do you now? If there are any threats then I am here to protect you- that’s my duty as your husband.”
Ah, yes. Why would a woman train when she could just sit back and play the part of a perfect little wife instead? You could spit.
“Would you rather I just hunt down one of your servants and kill him for sport?” You hated that he was so good at getting a reaction out of you. Maybe you were acting too much like a brat, but you wanted to see him squirm. Seeing him mad must be better than seeing him. . . like this.
For a second he sat there, arms perched nonchalantly over the armrests of his chair, staring at you with a crooked smile. You jumped in surprise when a chuckle escaped him, the act itself so out of place, so surprising that all you could do was stare in horror. The chuckles soon morphed into frenzied laughter, and he was quick to lean back in his seat so that he could place a hand on his chest.
“Was that funny to you?” You spoke through gritted teeth.
He watched the muscle in your jaw clench and unclench with wild eyes, sucking in a deep breath in the hopes of calming himself. Still, to hear such a beautiful woman speak such hideous words. . . it was wonderful, bordering on perverted.
“If you do kill a servant, please make sure I’m there to watch.”
He was too busy watching your face to notice the knife that you slid into the sleeve of your dress. With a huff you stood up, your skirts dryly brushing along the ground as you started to make your way out of the large room.
“I require a trainer.” You tried to mimic your mother’s tone, straightening your shoulders as you turned to look at him.
Lady Jessica always had a way of commanding a room. She was powerful, your mother. You needed to channel that same power now.
“You’ll train with me then,” He stood up from the table, the height and build of him alone nearly causing you to take a step back. You’d forgotten how large he was. How formidable. “Consider it a wedding gift.”
This had you balking, mouth opening and closing as you tried to think of some way to refuse. He was already stalking past you though, ignoring whatever retorts you were bound to make.
“I recommend getting changed. . . Unless you want me to tear that dress to shreds.”
That awful, ugly, no good-
“Bastard!” You whispered under your breath, wadding up your dress just to angrily toss it onto your bed.
You sank to your knees, braiding your fingers into your hair so that you could give it a few good yanks. He was doing this to fuck with your head. All of this was calculated on his part, it had to be. Was it all just to get a rise out of you? Or did he truly want to try and hurt you? You couldn’t figure him out, and that boiled your blood. All Harkonnens were cunning, blood thirsty schemers. You wouldn’t put it past him to be unhappy with the marriage arrangement, choosing to resort to violence in order to end things.
‘Now. Now is the time to strike.’
You’d already hidden the blade under the mattress of the bed. The Baron wouldn’t allow you to live if you killed his precious nephew, but you’d much rather put up some sort of a fight than be put down like a dog. After taking a few steadying breaths you somehow managed to pull on your trousers and shirt, your mind plagued with dangerous, dangerous thoughts. If the moment called for it you were certain that you could not kill Feyd in hand to hand combat. His skills with a blade was well known across the galaxy, and while you were more than able to defend yourself, you weren’t delusional enough to think that you could manage to beat him without using underhanded tactics.
You’d have to wait until his guard was lowered.
“Do all women take this long to get ready?”
You hadn’t heard the door open, nor his footsteps approaching. Who knew how long he had been watching you. The intrusion was an unwelcome one. You looked up to glare at him, trying hard not to balk at his appearance. The clothes he wore were skin tight, a black material that caught the dim lighting- like it was made of pitch black oil. His pants were tucked into big black boots, laced up high on his calf.
He stretched his arms up, leaning against the doorframe so that he could continue his awkward staring.
He did a lot of that it would seem. Any time you turned your head to face him you found that he was already looking in your direction. It was odd. . . off putting to say the least. Of course you couldn’t know that he was currently tracing the lines of your face with his eyes, committing every detail to memory. You were so different when he compared you to the females that he was used to seeing. You were all soft lines, long lashes and doe eyes. He found it impossible not to look at you. Gorgeous… you were gorgeous.
“It took me a while to get out of my dress on my own.”You shoved your way past him in the doorway, his chest warm under your palms.
You were quick to jerk away, startled by the fact that this was the first time that you’d touched him since the two of you had reunited.
You didn’t hate the feel of him, but you should have.
“Then you should have asked for some help.” He said, reaching out to grab you by the back of your shirt when you started to walk off in the wrong direction.
Feyd pulled you along like he would a pet on a leash through the triangular halls, ignoring your mumbled curses as you tried swatting him away.
The shield vibrated in your ears as you switched on the button, enveloping you in its warmth.
You used to find it uncomfortable as a child, the tight, foreign warmth triggering a mild case of claustrophobia. You were used to it now, wearing it like a second skin. You waited for Feyd to turn his on as well, the blade clutched tight in your palm.
You waited. And waited. And waited.
“Where’s your shield?” You asked him, motioning towards his hip with your free hand.
There it was, that crooked smile again. He was laughing at you. Was he trying to infer that you were weak? Was he so confident in his skills that he didn’t even see you as a threat?
“I don’t see the nee-” He didn’t get very far.
You kicked your leg out, catching the back of his right knee. His legs buckled, and he was quick to adjust himself, his left arm flying up to catch your wrist before you could sink the blade home. For a split second the two of you just stared at each other. Mild shock in his eyes, your own alight with an anger so consuming that you feared you might be burnt up with it. He gave your arm a sharp tug, hard enough that the joint rolled uncomfortably in its socket.
You kicked your leg out before he could throw you over his shoulder, landing a sharp blow to his ribs. You heard him let out a pained moan before you hit the ground. Using your weight to your advantage, you tucked your body in, rolling to the side so that you could easily stand up to your knees, blade poised at your side and ready for an attack.
“You fight well, Atreides.” Feyd purred, spinning his blade between two fingers before letting it fall back into his pale palm.
“Turn on your shield.” You growled, rising to your full height so that you could begin circling him, a panther ready to pounce.
“Was it Duke Leto that trained you?” Still, he was ignoring your statement.
“No.”
“No, of course it wasn’t him,” He took a step closer to you, eyeing you down. No one had looked at you like that before. . . and it made your skin crawl. You didn’t want to be desired by this man, the thought alone was miserable enough to have bile rising in your throat. “Your father is too weak-spirited to ever train you himself, lest he accidentally harm you.”
Your heart was beginning to pound in your ears now, vision tunneling. All you could see was Feyd. All you could imagine was the blade that you were currently white-knuckling sunk hilt deep into his chest.
“How horrible it must be for Caladan to have a Duke so. . . spineless.”
You bared your teeth, and for a second you were sure that you would snap the hilt in half with how hard you were gripping your blade. You demanded blood for such an insult. How dare he. How dare he.
“I should cut out your tongue!” You screamed, pointed the blade at him.
‘Don’t come any closer’ you urged with your eyes, feeling the angry tears causing your vision to fog. A Harkonnen was insulting your father. He was insulting your family and now he was smiling at you. The bastard had the gall to smile and this time all of his teeth were showing. Wide, unabashed in his joy. He was terrifying. So much so that you felt your legs begin to shake underneath you.
“But you’ll want to put this tongue to good use eventually.” His gravelly voice purred.
“Silence!” And before you could even control yourself you were using the Voice.
You might not be as talented as your brother when it came to hand to hand combat, but your mother had taken the time to teach you well. Feyd’s mouth snapped shut so hard that you heard his teeth clatter together.
“One more word and I will gut you.” Your voice shook and before you could rethink your actions you were lunging forward, the blade cutting through the air. . .
Aimed at his throat.
He was quick to push your arm away with his forearm, and even with the shield up you could feel the bone shattering pressure he put behind the movement. He was stronger than Paul- stronger than even Gurney. He took advantage of the fact that you were put off balance and grabbed a fist full of hair, the shield around you flashing red as he pressed his blade as close as he could to the base of your throat. Your scalp exploded in pain, eyes watering as he gripped harder to yank your head back so that you were staring directly into his eyes. They held no malice towards you, even despite the fact that you were obviously trying to maim him.
And then he leaned in closer. And closer.
“If I didn’t know any better then I would think that you were actually trying to kill me.” He whispered against the shell of your ear. You could practically feel the warmth of his lips against your skin as he spoke, your heart roaring in your ribcage. With your chests practically touching like this you could smell him.
You’d only caught the scent of spice once in your life- and it was akin to bitter cinnamon. There was something else though, something more complex to it. Aromatic spices you couldn’t quite put your fingers on and. . . the natural musk of his skin.
“So you can speak again?” You managed to tease him through your pain, wincing as he brought you even closer against his chest. The blade that you clutched in your hand was now pressing against his side, the pointed edge digging into his skin.
He didn’t wince, even when you put more pressure against it.
“You think it wise to use the Voice on me in my own home, little girl?” He hissed as he pulled away from your ear, and the fire that was in your eyes was now mirrored in his own.
Slowly you moved the blade away from him, the metallic clanging echoing around the room as you let it fall to the floor. Your palm hurt from the vice-like grip you had been holding it in.
“Release me now.” You didn’t shy away from staring into his eyes, unwavering even when he pressed the blade even tighter, the shield vibrating louder and louder around you.
He leaned in, even when your hands moved to press against his chest, willing him to give you space. You could barely breathe with him this close to you. His own knife clattered to the ground, and using his free hand he ripped the shield from off of your hip. The gasp that escaped your lips was uncontrollable. You could feel his breath on your lips as his eyes continued to swallow you up whole.
They looked even bluer when you were up close like this, framed by long black lashes. For a split second you wondered what had become of that beautiful little boy you had met. Had Baron Vladmir beaten the beauty out of him? Or perhaps it had never truly been there to begin with.
When Feyd looked at you, up close like this, all he saw was the object of his ever-present affections. Something yawned to life in his chest- the need to protect. All at once he felt wrong, disgusting and horrible for causing you any sort of pain.
But you looked so lovely with those tears in your eyes. So much so that he gave your hair another small yank, a shuddered breath escaping his lips as you yelped in pain. He saw the hate in your eyes and he detested it.
‘Fear me’ he silently urged. ‘Love me, do as I say and I will become your slave.’
His lips brushed against yours, achingly slow- painfully soft.
“I yield.” You were quick to say, pulling as far back as you could even with the grip he had on your hair.
Fire. Your scalp felt like it was on fire.
And then he released you, taking a step back with a heaving chest. The spell now broken, it felt like the world around you suddenly resumed its orbit. Wordlessly he pressed a hand to his side- the side that you had pressed the knife- and when he pulled it away you could see that it was stained with blood.
“Didn’t you say that you were going to gut me?” There was no hint of humor in his voice now.
“I wanted to.” You conceded.
“Then you should have tried harder.”
Again you lay in bed awake, unable to fall asleep. You told yourself that it was just homesickness that had you clinging to the blankets, but you knew better. What had happened today left you rattled and confused.
There were a hundred times today that Feyd could have killed you. Everything that Gurney had ever taught you had disappeared like smoke in the wind the second that your father was mentioned. You had acted on instinct alone.
And if it was an actual fight to the death then you would have lost. Miserably.
There was something strange about it though. It never once felt like an actual training session. He taught you nothing and gave you no feedback. Not only that but. . . it never felt like he actually wanted to damage your pride. He didn’t turn on his shield before and after taunting you, almost as though he actually wanted one of your attacks to land.
He had allowed you to get everything out of your system. You hated that it had worked. It wasn’t helping you to sleep tonight though. No, you had other things on your mind now.
Like the fact that he had almost kissed you.
Your knowledge was limited where men were concerned, but you were nearly positive that there was something sexual about the way that he had treated you. It was like he didn’t want to actually hurt you, but still went out of his way to touch you.
You’d be sure to ask for someone that might be willing to train you again tomorrow over breakfast. Someone who wasn’t Feyd, preferably. Lunch and dinner had been spent in silence on your part tonight. He had tried to strike up conversation a few times, even baiting you in ways that might warrant annoyance and anger. You didn’t budge. Why? Because you hated how nervous you felt in his presence now.
Was it because you were afraid of him? That had to be it. Hearing about his proficiency in fighting and seeing it first hand were two different things. He had practically swung you around like a ragdoll. It was absolutely humiliating.
Yes, that had to be it. . . well, you hoped.
“Atreides.”
The sound of your name had you bolting up into a sitting position, willing your eyes to adjust to the non-existent lighting in the room. The sound of footsteps had your heart jumping up into your throat, adrenaline flooding your system once you realized that it wasn’t a voice that you recognized.
No one had entered the room since you’d gotten back from dinner, which meant. . .
Whoever this was had been hiding, waiting until you completely lowered your guard. You were in danger. Horrible, horrible danger.
‘Be careful. Please.’ You remembered Feyd’s words from earlier.
He had been trying to warn you.

The ancient walls of Castle Caladan were a fortress, the long winding halls a labyrinth to those unfamiliar with its layout. You had tried feigning sleep when you had been made aware of the surprise guest’s arrival, a one “reverend mother”- as your mother referred to her. The cool air from the hallway nipped at your exposed arm, which currently hung limply over the side of the bed.
“She’s even smaller than your son, Jessica.” The voice sounded more like a wheeze- and it certainly didn’t belong to anyone you had ever met before.
“As I’ve already said, the Atreides are slow to grow.” Your mother’s tone didn’t hold even a semblance of a bite to it, not like you expected. She was usually fiercely protective of you and your brother.
Your finger twitched, causing the woman to stifle whatever disapproving comment she was about to make. Being caught eavesdropping like this certainly wasn’t ideal, but you found it impossible not to be curious.
“She really is just like her brother,” More like he was more like you. You’d always been the rowdy one of the two. Paul must have been listening in as well, and you imagined that he was more insulted at the comments of his lack of height and muscle than you were. “The little rascals.”
There was a beat of silence before the woman began to crone again. This time you opened your eyes just a sliver, staring into the dark abyss of your room so that you could make out the shapes of your mother and the stranger.
“Rest now. Both you and your brother need to be prepared to meet my Gom Jabbar.” The reason couldn’t be pinpointed, but there was something about her tone that filled you with dread.
Your mother woke you up the next morning, bright and early.
Not even the breathing exercises that your mother had taught you had been able to calm you down last night. The darkness had swallowed you whole, which resulted in a dreamless sleep that left you feeling just as unrested as you had felt the night before. Your mother noticed your hesitations, the skirts of her dress dragging against the stone floor as she moved in the direction of your closet. The dress that she picked out for you was one of your more official garments, the red hawk of the Atreides crest proudly sewn onto the right breast.
“Did you sleep well?” She questioned as she laid the dress neatly onto the edge of the bed, urging you to stand once her hands were free.
You blinked at her, nervously brushing your hands along the soft cotton of your nightdress. Your voice felt stuck in your throat, but you still managed to lie.
“Yes, of course.” Your tone was flat, and for once she didn’t question you on the reasoning. She knew exactly what had you feeling so uncomfortable in your own home.
Gom Jabbar. Gom Jabbar. Gom Jabbar.
What exactly did the old woman want from your family? Lady Jessica was a Bene Gesserit, which could only mean that this woman was a higher up, sent to pay you and your brother a visit. You knew nothing about any “coming of age” rituals.
Paul barged into the room, dressed in his finer clothes as well. He leaned against the wall of your room, lips pursed as if he was deep in thought. You tilted your head to the side, leveling him a worried glance. He simply shook his head, and you knew at once that he wasn’t trying to dismiss your worries.
‘Not here. Later.’ His expression told you, and for once you obeyed.
“The reverend mother is waiting on the both of you. Paul, get out of your sister’s room so she can get ready.” She commanded, her tone leaving no room for whining or disobedience.
He groaned, pushing himself off of the wall so that he could head back out and into the hall. You shrugged out of your dress quickly at the hurried insistence of your mother, allowing her to do up the clasps of the dress for you.
“Who is she?” You asked simply, brushing your hair to the side so that she could get a better grasp of the dress.
“She was my teacher at the Bene Gesserit school and now she is the Emperor’s Truthsayer.” Your mother sighed out your name, turning you quickly so that you were facing her. “You need to do exactly as she says. There is no room to be prideful today, do you understand?” Her eyes were pleading, and you knew that she had your best interests in mind.
You and your mother walked wordlessly out into the hall, catching up with your brother who was busy running his fingers along the uneven stone walls. You flashed a quick look at your mother before jogging to catch up with Paul, taking the hem of his sleeve into your hand.
“What do you know?” You whispered, turning your head so that you could look at your mother. Much to your surprise she seemed to be in no hurry to separate the two of you.
“I’ve had dreams about her before,” He whispered, and you had to pick up your pace to keep up with his strides. “And mother told me this morning that I have to tell her about my visions.”
Your mouth went a bit dry at the realization that this woman truly was here just for you and your brother. What is the Gom Jabbar and what did it entail? There was no telling.
“She’s in my morning room, you two.” She called out after you.
Jessica caught up, leveling the both of you a disapproving motherly look that had the two of you slowing your strides to match hers. She seemed a bit hesitant, eyes flickering between you and your brother and the closed door.
The “reverend mother” sat in one of the tapestried chairs, her arms perched on either side of the armrests as she watched the three of you come in. The view behind her was beautiful, the sprawling, green farmlands of the Atreides family holding on full display through the large windows behind her. You glanced at your brother, eyes widening when you realized that he was already looking at you. He bowed in her direction and you followed his lead.
“They are a cautious bundle, aren’t they?” The witch-like woman croaked, looking between the two of you.
“As they have been taught, your reverence.”
In this room, here in front of this woman, Jessica was no longer the Duke’s concubine nor your mother. She was reduced to that of a pupil in the face of her teacher. You kept yourself from fidgeting, clasping your hands in front of you. You fought the urge to reach out and grab your brother’s hand, as the two of you so often did when faced with anxiety as children. Fear hadn’t regressed you to that of a blubbering child in years.
Your mother also seemed to fear the woman before her. There was something in her tone that led you to believe that whatever she was here for, it surely wasn’t a pleasantry. Your brother was tense at your mother’s other side, jaw tense as he stared the reverend mother down.
“Teaching is one thing, but there are some things that cannot simply be taught,” Paul’s eyebrows furrowed as she spoke, and as if she was dismissing a servant of the castle, she waved your mother off with a flick of her wrist. “You and your daughter leave us. It will be her turn soon.”
For the first time that morning your mother hesitated, eyes softened as she looked upon her son.
“Your reverence, I-” She began, but was cut off before she could finish whatever it is she was going to say. Surely it was meant to be an objection.
“Jessica, you know that this must be done.” Her voice held a tone of finality. There was no room for your mother to try and wiggle the both of you two out of this trap.
“Yes. . . of course.” Your mother straightened, turning towards both of you.
“This test. . . It’s very important to me, you two.” She spoke in a hushed voice, eyes still fearful.
“Test?” The two of you questioned at the same time, looking at one another in concern. You were confused, even more so than you were before.
“Remember that you’re the duke’s son.” And with that your mother was grabbing your arm, pulling you in the direction of the door.
“I suppose that it is my turn?” Your voice shook with anger as you practically tore the door off of its hinges, anxious to take your brother’s place. His cries and whimpers did not go unheard, even with the thick wood separating the two of you.
Looking at him now, his right arm still shaking from the pain, was like being slapped across the face.
“Right you are, girl. Jessica, please escort your son out of the room.” There was a silvery glint in her bright eyes- a challenge. She could sense it in you.
Your mother didn’t interrupt this time, and without any words exchanged the door closed. Your brother was too shaken up by whatever had taken place in that room to fully comprehend that the same thing was going to happen to you. He tossed a terrified glance over his shoulder at you just before the heavy doors closed. The sound of it echoed around the room, pulsing in your chest as you tried to steady the adrenaline pumping through your veins.
“Your future. . . do you know what is expected of you?”
You eyed the black box that sat next to her as you began closing the distance between the two of you. The question she had asked. . . it was a touchy subject with you. Of course you knew. A day didn’t go by that you weren’t mortified by the prospect of your future. You only had three short years to live and enjoy before you would be forced to abandon your family to join hands with another one.
“Of course I do. It is my duty to marry.” Your voice had a bite to it, your eyes unwavering as you stared her veiled face down.
“It is your duty to marry a Harkonnen. It is an honor to be the only reason that these two great Houses are allies. Your heirs will be powerful beyond comprehension.” The way she spoke. . . she truly believed the shit she was spouting.
It was impossible to consider marrying Feyd an honor. It was an ever-present looming threat.
“Put your right hand in the box.” She commanded, nodding her head in it’s direction.
It seemed harmless enough, nothing more than a metal box. You bent your head ever-so-slightly, trying to have a look inside. It appeared to be a pitch black, endless void. No beginning or end in sight.
You did as you were told, biting the inside of your cheek to stop yourself from muttering anything too disrespectful under your breath. If Paul’s screams were anything to go off of then this was going to be painful. Still, you were shocked by how cold the box was. You wiggled your fingers a few times, feeling the metal encasing them. Slowly a tingling sensation began, almost as if they were falling asleep.
“You’ve heard of animals chewing off a leg to escape a trap? There’s an animal kind of trick. A human would remain in the trap, endure the pain, feigning death that he might kill the trapper and remove a threat to his kind.”
The tingling sensation somehow melded into. . . heat. No, not heat. Burning. It felt as though you had your hand held up to a bright flame. You flinched, but froze when you finally noticed that the reverend mother was holding something against your neck. Your eyes flickered the best that they could to her hand, not wanting to turn your head.
“What I hold at your neck is the Gom Jabbar. The tip of the needle is dipped in poison. Remove your hand from the box and I will plunge it into your neck.”
The palm of your free hand began to sweat, the gravity of the situation finally landing on your shoulders. You would be forced to endure the pain and there was nothing that anyone outside of the doors could do. No guards had come to protect your brother when it was his turn, and no matter how emotional your mother had gotten whilst hearing his screams she still hadn’t rushed in after him. You could truly die here in this room.
“Why are you doing this?” You urged, wincing again as the burning continued to worsen.
Now it felt as though you were almost touching a flame, fingers dancing dangerously close. It wasn’t just uncomfortable now but painful. “To determine if you’re human. Now be silent.”
Meant for greatness, yet stifled before her prime.
It was impossible for your clipped wings to take flight. The Bene Gesserit had instilled in you your purpose from a very young age, letting it be known that you were little more than cattle to be sold off to breed. The whole arrangement was dehumanizing, but this was the way of galactic high society. Every House had been developed by the close, watchful eye of the Bene Gesserit. Your mere existence was a result of a centuries long breeding program, so how could you ever expect for your own life to be any different?
Every child, especially in their naive youth, dreams of greatness. There was a point in time where you had hoped to mean something. There were differences to be made, rules to be broken, wars to be raged- but you would never be at the helm of any of it. But Paul. . . Paul was different.
“You know something that I don’t.” You weren’t asking Paul, rather telling him what you already knew.
Where you were used to your brother pulling no punches, he had been overly cautious with his treatment of you during training today. For a second he just stared ahead blankly at the wall, and you wondered whether he would try to lie. The older you’ve gotten, the stranger other people’s treatment of you has become. Women were little more than something to be owned. It was a hard lesson to learn and was one you were still grappling with.
Your femininity were the chains that bound you. And what of your ambition? It was currently acting as the flames licking at your boot heels. Soon you feared that it would fully engulf you; become your undoing.
“Tell me.” Your lovely features crumpled, and as childish as it was you found yourself giving his arm a slap.
He jumped at the sudden contact, eyes widening as he turned to face you after what felt like an eternity of prolonged silence between the two of you. The hard flooring felt cool beneath your legs as you stretched them out beneath you, and for a second you found it hard to keep yourself up in a sitting position. The world felt unsteady beneath you, both literally and figuratively.
Paul didn’t have to say anything at all. You looked, you saw, you felt, you understood. Your shared connection had nothing to do with your genes, rather it had to do with your likeness. Two bodies, two minds, but one soul. Your twin’s features crumpled, mirroring that of your own as he pushed a few strands of dark hair away from his face.
“So there is nothing I can do? My fate is sealed.” Your lips felt numb as you spoke.
Your brother’s visions were more frequent than they had ever been before. “Horrors”, he’d described them.
“If there was something I could do. . .” He started, turning quickly to face you, tucking one leg beneath himself. “My hands are tied. Mother and father’s hands are as well.”
Hiding you away or knowingly allowing you to escape your duties would be seen as an act of treason. You’d be putting your parents and their status in danger, and no matter how desperate you were to get out of any sort of marriage pact, it was far too late. Since the very moment you were conceived, this was what you were meant for.
“When will the orders come down, you think?” You pulled your legs up to your chest, wrapping your arms around them tightly.
You wished that you could stay like this forever, protected from the rest of the world. If only you hadn’t been born as twins at all. You wanted so badly to be like Paul.
But the galaxy didn’t work like that. You were not fortunate enough to get what you wanted.
“Soon.”
You felt comforted by the hand that he placed on your shoulder, and even more so when he kept it there until you felt as though you were able to stand up.
You were to marry into House Harkonnen. That was your purpose; to unite the feuding houses and birth powerful offspring. You had met Feyd once before, but only for a fleeting moment. It hadn’t been awkward- no, back then the two of you hadn’t cared enough to pay any mind to the looming threat that was your betrothal. You’d been too young back then to fully grasp the severity of the situation.
You remembered being shocked by his size. He towered over Paul, appearing to be years older than he really was. His hair had been dark back then, thick and slightly curly.
He had only just been taken under his uncle’s wing at the time. The environment of Giedi Prime had yet to fully sink into the young boy. The Harkonnen’s looks had always been startling to you, no matter how many times you’d been exposed to it. They were dark creatures, brooding, hairless with skin as pale as milk- not to mention violent.
The desperate way that Paul had clung to you was not lost on you. You let him squeeze you as tightly as he needed, your arms locking around his back. This meeting would change everything. In a matter of moments your life as you knew it would be taking a drastic turn, and not for the better.
You’d made that very same trek to the parlor room a million times. This was your ancestral home- had been in your family longer than you thought was conceivable, and yet this felt new to you. Wrong. The shadows from the windows were casting strange lights on the wall beside you, and your footsteps sounded muffled in your ears as your pounding heart nearly deafened you. Your father’s hand brushed against your palm a few times, his attempt at showing you physical comfort without causing any sort of scene. You knew that this was Feyd-Rautha’s right.
You were Feyd-Rautha’s right. That simple fact alone was enough to send you reeling, that morning's breakfast churning in your stomach.
“It will be fine.” Your mother’s fingers shaped the words at her side, a comforting and silent presence.
Your parents had always protected you. They had taught you well in all aspects of life. She was right. You had to trust yourself just as much as you trusted them. This will be fine. You will survive.
But god, you wanted to live.
Your worst fear was being locked up like a caged animal, only taken out to be played with or paraded around. You didn’t want to be somebody's little wife; you were no homemaker or bed warmer.
‘I am better than this.’ You thought to yourself, your hands balling into fists at your sides.
As the double doors began creeping open, you felt the sudden urge to run the opposite direction, your parents be damned. The feud between House Atreides and House Harkonnen would surely become deadly if you were to turn your back on the promise now, and that was the only thing that steeled your feet. You stood, back straight and hands clasped tightly at your front.
You looked to be a pillar of strength, but oh- you were so close to crumbling. Your father took a step past the threshold, eyes hard as he bowed his head respectfully in the Baron’s direction. There was still time to turn around. The door was right there, and you were sure that you could commandeer a ship. You’d piloted a few times before in your life, and while you weren’t the best, you were certain you could get yourself the hell off of Caladan. You shuffled your feet, eyes wide as you looked up and caught your mother’s gaze. Her lips were parted, and you could tell that she was trying to decipher your expression.
“What are you doing?” Her hand moved quickly at her side, the flowy gauze-like material of her skirts hiding her frantic movements from the visitor’s view.
Nothing. You were doing nothing. There were no options yet. If you fled then the insubordination would fall back on your parents. If you downright refused then the outcome would be the same. There was nothing you could do but keep your mouth shut and try not to show the Harkonnen even a semblance of vulnerability.
Disdain rolled off of you in waves as you breezed into the parlor, eyes locked on the side of your father’s face as he conversed with the baron. Tensions were high, even now. No pleasantries were being exchanged, that you were sure of. The Harkonnen’s stark black attire was a startling contrast to their pale skin. There, in the middle of two other men, whom you were sure were present for reasons of protection, was Feyd.
He looked the same as the rest of them. Hairless, blue eyes dripping with something that could only be described as malice. Gone was the curly haired child that you remembered. In his place stood someone unrecognizable to you. You wanted to question what the Baron had done to Feyd, but you already knew. Perfection was expected on Geidi Prime.
He had shaped Feyd into the very likeness of perfection. The once dark haired boy was now a walking, talking machine; not even a dead leaf echo of the boy you met all those years ago.
You tried to map out every single one of his microexpressions, searching desperately for any sign that he might disapprove of the predicament the both of you had found yourselves in. He tilted his head to the side, observing you with a horrifying level of concentration. The Baron began to speak, saying something that you didn’t care enough to listen to. You were too distracted by the terrifying man before you.
“She will come back home to Geidi Prime with us. No objections, correct?”
You were marrying him out of an obligation, this he was already privy to. He had seen the reluctance written plain across your face as you’d entered the room. You’d wanted to run. Away from him, away from your responsibilities- and he could not blame you for it. His understanding stopped there though, simply because this proposal wasn’t going against his own wishes.
“The wedding isn’t taking place for another week.” The Duke didn’t seem to like the idea of his unwed daughter leaving his side.
Feyd fought back a smile, having known that the Baron’s sudden request would have this effect on the Atreides family. He watched you squirm like a bug under a magnifying glass, your hand moving at your hip. For a second he thought that you might be tugging at the seam of your dress, writing it off as nothing but a nervous tick- but then he saw the way your mother’s eyes followed those movements.
The two of you were communicating.
“That may be so, however I think that it is only right that your daughter,” Baron Vladimir motioned in your direction. “Becomes better acquainted with Feyd. You don’t agree?”
His uncle decided that it was best to test the boundaries of this alliance. He was pushing the Duke, seeing how far he could get. Leto’s lips twitched, his eyes flickering thoughtfully towards you. Feyd was finding it hard to pay attention to anyone else other than you in the room. He’d spent years imagining what you would look like as an adult- dreamt about it. He’d eagerly been awaiting this moment, counting the days that he could finally be reunited with you.
It wasn’t just because he had been promised powerful heirs. It was the thought that someone was fated to marry him. Since before he was even conceived, you had always been promised to him. That idea had been put into his head since childhood. You were the constant topic in his mind, a person that was unavoidably meant to be in his life for the rest of his days.
In a strange way he had loved you since he was but a child.
Seeing you for that first time had been better than he had anticipated. You were a beautiful little girl, but now? The child that he had met all those years ago did not hold a candle to the grace and brilliance of the woman that stood before him now. Nobody else could ever compare. You didn’t have to fall for him right now, he was content with that. Hell, you didn’t even have to tolerate him. He would find pleasure in wearing you down. He was going to make you love him.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
The adrenaline had run its way out of your system, leaving you cold and alone on a planet that was so incredibly alien to you, you weren’t sure how you’d ever be expected to adjust. Even the oxygen felt different in your lungs- the sweet, acrid smell of chemicals tinging the air around you. It was nothing like your home on Caladan. Your home was a stone castle, but this? This was a cold, black fortress.
You weren’t sure if it was meant to keep people out. . . or in.
You thought back to that fateful day with the reverend mother.
“You’ve heard of animals chewing off a leg to escape a trap? There’s an animal kind of trick. A human would remain in the trap, endure the pain, feigning death that he might kill the trapper and remove a threat to his kind.”
You couldn’t chew your leg off to be free of this. No, you had to lay in wait. Only then could you strike if the situation called for it.
“Striking” could wait until tomorrow though. For now you wanted to rid yourself of the anxiety. Sleep was the only cure you could think of.
“Is the room to your liking?” That husky voice of his was already grating on your nerves.
Feyd had only attempted to speak to you a few times and already you were sick and tired of his presence. He was a constant reminder that you would never know what it was like to be free. Then again, was anybody in the galaxy truly free? Feyd sure seemed to be carefree in his current position.
His tone felt off, like he was toying with you.
“I would be far more pleased about my new living quarters if you were to leave.” You said simply, pulling the slate gray blanket up and over your chin.
You weren’t sure if it was due to his ill-breeding, but he didn’t seem to care that you were in nothing but your night dress. He walked into the room in long-legged strikes, letting the door shut behind him. Never before had the two of you been alone together, not since you were children at least. If you were back in your family home you would feel safer during a moment like this.
You were in his territory now, meaning he had full reign over everything. Your father and family name couldn’t protect you on Geidi Prime.
“You’re in quite the rush to be rid of me,” He didn’t falter for even a second as he moved to sit down on the edge of the bed, leaning back against the plush mattress with a small sigh. “If I didn’t know any better, I would think that you didn’t like me.” He didn’t seem upset at the notion of you disliking him. In fact, there was a glint in his eyes. That same sort of silvery glint you’d seen in the reverend mother’s eyes all those years ago: a challenge.
This was nothing but a challenge to him. You were a conquest, and you detested that. Your stomach soured, your face becoming pinched as you glared at him. This was all too much too fast. You were in the comfort of your own home not even four hours ago, and now you were expected to make small talk with the source of your life-long discontent.
“And what of your concubines? Could you not pester them tonight and give me a moment's peace?”
“I dismissed them from their duties, permanently, weeks ago.” He said simply, his fingers running along the cotton of the comforter.
“What?” You’d never heard of such a thing.
“Spending time with them would be a waste.” His blue eyes flickered up to meet your eyes. “Acquiring concubines had just been a show of status.”
It took you a few moments to process what he was saying, the burning hatred you had felt just moments ago flickering out into a dull flame.
“Why would spending time with them be a waste? Am I expected to spend that much time with you?” A horror, truly. You had hoped that you’d be able to get away with spending a night or two a week with him, if only to achieve the Bene Gesserit’s goal of siring an heir.
“A waste of time. A waste of seed,” He looked at you pointedly, his lip pulling up into a smile that revealed more of his black teeth. “And both of those things are important to me.”
Your stomach hollowed out as you were once again reminded of what was expected of you. You had a week to prepare mentally for your wedding night, which you weren’t sure was enough.
“And what happened to the concubines? Are they still being housed here?”
“Why? Are you jealous?” He was smiling even wider than he was before.
A shiver ran through you as you noticed how predatory his body language was- you felt like prey under his haughty gaze. It was hard to believe that Feyd had been administered the Gom Jabbar test and passed.
This man was no human. He was an animal, that you were certain.
“Wickedly.” Your tone was flat and noncommittal. Even now, you never saw Feyd as a potential lover.
The man that was your so-called “destiny” was also your jailer.
“Well then you’ll be happy to know that they no longer live here. . . or anywhere, for that matter.” He sat up, rolling his shoulders back to stretch his broad muscles.
The blood drained from your face as you stared up at him from your spot on the bed. He must have felt the weight of your gaze and turned his head, his eyes alight with. . . pleasure. Violence was as ingrained in him as breathing was. It was his life. Standing before you was the prince of death- pale, striking and terrifying.
Animal, indeed.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Warning?: fluff to dark, thoughts of murder
Feyd loves to cuddle with you. He usually stays awake longer than you do so that he has more time to enjoy the moment. Especially when the nights are cold, he loves to hold you close to his warm body and stroke your soft skin with his fingertips. He loves your soft, relaxed sigh. That the brutal world is suspended for a moment, as if you two were the only living beings in the entire galaxy. Nothing and nobody could hurt you at this moment. He loves to run his nose over your hair. The scent of your shampoo and perfume makes him melt away.
And he would never say a word about it. He would never admit that he craves you. Greedy as fire for gasoline. He wouldn't say the three 'magic' words, his actions were to show you that he loved you. And if you didn't understand that, that would be your own problem. He could kill you here and now, you knew that. He knew that. It would be so easy for him to break your neck with a quick movement of his hand or slit your body open with your own swords. But he didn't do it. Not because he didn't want to. He would like to murder you almost every day. But he knew that he could no longer bite you. No more your sweet blood, no more your beautiful scent, no more listening to your calm breathing. Oh, how boring his life would be without yours in his hands…
In the distant galaxy endless possibilities exist. Mankind has dreamed and achieved to some extent in conquering the stars . Some are more successful than others but they all have been driven by the same motive . Now the stars have aligned for two people to become unified inorder to carry mankind into the future. Their journey is one filled with joy, pain, defeat and victory .
But at the finish line will they accomplish true boundless freedom ?
Will Feyd Rautha and his destined one be able to find common ground and build a better empire together or will they fail and suffer the miserable consequence. Will they be able to withstand the pressure that they will be under? Or will their personalities differ so much that they end up killing each other?
Like the moon and stars that have covered the night sky the pair will be a show not to miss.
COMING SOON
I’ve got multiple parts for my a/b/o Paul x Female Reader x Feyd-Rautha story. I’m writing the entire outline, that way every post (chapter) coincides with the plot. I have decided to go with Y/N and nicknames thanks to your feedback.
I have one more question: What do I do with Chani? Does she exist? Does she and Paul have a relationship while you’re separated from Paul? Do they have a child (twins) like in the book. Is Chani perhaps a jealous scorned lover?
Any ideas would be lovely.
I need a little help for my Feyd x Reader x Paul story. I really want a name for reader rather then (your name). Yes or No? Ideas??
What about nicknames for reader? What are some nicknames Paul and Feyd should use?
Working further on my idea and starting the first drafts. Reader will be the alternative to the golden path, I’ve decided.
I’m trying my best to read up on the books without trying to read several books before I right.
Paul x Reader x Feyd live rent free right now in my head.
Feyd is cruel to protect reader and Paul is unwilling to play any games. He wants his Omega soon as possible with no secrets.
I haven’t written/ posted Fanfiction in years. I’ve never done so on Tumblr and have no idea how to even post Fanfiction on tumblr. How do tags and master lists and the keep reading thing work?
But I have an idea. Oh Boy do I have an idea for a story; like three novel lengths of a story. With a female reader!
Alpha!Paul x Omega!Reader x Alpha Feyd!
Now I Haven’t read the books, but have researched details in them. Some of the aspects of the books are too weird strange like a half worm tyrant! And I would take a lot of creative liberties but here’s the gist:
There’s a cluster of planets outside of the Imperium with a Goverment and heirarchy of their own. They despise the Bene Gesserit as they have “gifts” of their own.
They are powerful with many resources, though are aware they have made an enemy of the emperor.
The Change is the prophecy they have for the Bene Gesserit’s Messiah. Two warring houses will unite the Imperium with these cluster of planets through a bond with a shared omega. An Omega the emperor and Bene Gesserit want dead. An omega the Fremen are wary of and Baron Harkonnen wants only for his house.
There’s baby Feyd and Paul and their childhoods as they grow up. A bloody Feyd who just killed his mother gets a quick hug from Omega!reader who tells him she’s always available to be a friend before scampering off and leaving him prettified!
Feyd sets up his Uncle and brother. He secretly divides his people into two opposing sides. One for an imperium lead by the Harkonnen Atreides Triad, and the other for his Uncles barbaric rule. Feyd is still barbaric in his own right but not to the point that it leads to his death. His Omega makes it clear he has to exhibit control of his instincts or he’s out.
Paul and Feyd have a love/hate relationship, trying to kill the other all while working together to take control of the Imperium. So much sexual tension that is released on the “poor” reader!
Super slow burn, way more strategical overtaking by Paul and Feyd. Reader is kind, soft but not self sacrificing. She has her own role to play in bringing togther her people with the imperium. And she sure as hell isn’t going to just bend over for Paul and Feyd.
Thoughts??
Summary; Y/N Atreides had always been a stranger to the entire galaxy, her bed wasn’t her bed, her home wasn’t her home due to the fact that she was sent to accompany and be sisters with Irulan. She had limited access to her actual family and over the years they grew distant. She thought she would be like Reverend Mother, alone, yet powerful, and soon she would realize that there was no need of being alone when a wild creature had his eyes on her for a long time.
A/N: Hey little doves! The next chapter will be the final one. Hope you'll enjoy it. Let me know if I forgot to tag you.

Chapter Fifteen
Duke Leto Atreides was in his council chamber, he gathered his most trusted men, Duncan Idaho, Gurney Halleck and their trusted soldiers, he was sitting in his rightful place, the winds of Caladan making a whistle sound that reached to his ears, there was a grim atmosphere in the council chamber, ‘’My lord,’’ Duncan started, he was sitting on Leto’s right side and Gurney on his left. ‘’Our spies in Giedi Prime informed me that Baron Vladimir has been gathering Shaddam’s men, the Sardaukars from Salusa Secundus to..’’ he swallowed, Leto gathered them and made them listen Na-Baron Feyd’s voice memo, ‘’to attack Arrakis and kill Na-Baron and,’’ Duncan felt like family here, under the Atreides House, so Y/N was also his family, ‘’Lady Y/N..’’ he finished with a flat tone but Leto could see the anger in Duncan’s brown eyes as he could see in Leto’s. They were sharing the common hatred towards the Baron and concern for his daughter Y/N. ‘’Then it means The Emperor Shaddam is involved in this scheme as well.’’ Gurney pointed out, scratching his grey beard, ‘’My Duke,’’ Gurney began and Leto turned his head towards him, ‘’What’s the plan?’’
Leto sighed, a certain determination written in his expression, ‘’We are going to kill the Baron.’’ Was his reply. There was no time, if the spies had given the information on Baron few days ago then it meant that they were most likely on the ships, on their way to Arrakis, Duke left Jessica behind, his son Paul was happily married and under the Emperor’s roof so Duke Leto knew that Shaddam wouldn’t harm him or his daughter, the one and only heir to the throne. Duncan and Gurney were in sync, gathering the soldiers into the ships, heavy arms and explosions, according to Duncan’s calculations they were going to meet Baron’s troops in the air, it was going to be an interesting battle and Duncan was looking forward to it.
Y/N was pacing in the bedchambers, it had been two days since the message which was sent by her husband, her father didn’t send a reply, did he abandon her to her fate? Did he have no concern for her or her safety? Thanks to her Bene Gesserit tricks she had learned from Feyd’s right hand man that Baron had gathered troops from Salusa Secundus, of course Feyd kept this from her, she felt betrayed by everyone, by Feyd since he kept this pivotal information from her, by her father who apparently left her to her fate, by the Emperor who kept Y/N in his domain, away from her family for so long… Maybe that was the reason why Duke Leto couldn’t form a connection and bond with her maybe that was the reason why no answer came from him, was he afraid of the Emperor? He was an old man now but with one snap of his fingers he could obliterate the entire universe.
On the other hand these past two days Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen was planning attacks with what little men he had, fighting with Fremen to find his wife had consequences and he was facing them now. He was sleepless, he had only one motive, it was to protect his wife and their child, he had never felt a urge to protect someone like this before, of course with his mother he had these urges but this one was way different, more primal and ownership. She was carrying their child, a piece of him and her.
‘’My Baron!’’ his men were calling him ‘’Baron’’ now, he didn’t order them to do, however, over the years every single Giedi-Prime citizen were fed up with the tight leash that Baron kept on them, and ever since Lady Y/N’s arrival even a blind person could see the change she brought and made Feyd-Rautha go under. Feyd turned to his right man, he was an old man with extensive knowledge, Feyd thought he was going to give information or tactics but there was a certain type of softness in the man’s grey eyes, ‘’Yes?’’ he asked, impatient. They were alone in Feyd’s study chambers, ‘’I’ve got it under control, go to your wife.’’ No one dared to talk to Feyd like that except him, the old man was on his side since Feyd started training in his childhood, they grew some bond together over the years, in that short sentence Feyd realized how busy he was, planning, getting ready for the upcoming battle, the young man only nodded and left the study chambers in rush.
She didn’t hear the door opening or Feyd locking it behind him, he leaned on the metal door for few seconds, watching her on the couch, her satin yellow dress hugging her curves deliciously, her long hair falling from her shoulders, he walked up to her and it made her look up with a smile, Feyd plopped down on the couch, resting her legs on his lap and started massaging her feet, he realized how tired he felt in that moment, these past two days felt like two years, ‘’Dove,’’ he called as soft as he could with raspy voice of his, ‘’It’s been a long day..’’ he added. She placed the book down on the empty coffee table, even though the upcoming battle was on her mind constantly she managed a soft smile, his hands on her feet felt strong and gentle, ‘’You must be tired my love.’’ She said.
‘’Very.’’ He murmured as he continued massaging her feet, he looked at her and noticed the smile and he smiled back, though it was a tired one, she could see the dark circles under his ocean blue eyes, ‘’I couldn’t focus on anything today,’’ he admitted, ‘’my mind was too scattered. But seeing you, my love, I feel calmer already.’’ She leant in and palmed his face, gave him a soft kiss on his plump lips.
He melted into the kiss, despite the exhaustion, her touch and affection ignited a spark within him. Feyd wrapped his hands around her waist, pulled her closer. He deepened the kiss, his lips moved hungrily against hers. It was as if all of his worries melt away for a moment, replaced only by his desire for her. He pulled her to his lap and held her tightly there, his hands resting on her thighs. He broke off the kiss to look at her, ‘’You have no idea how distracting you are wife.’’ his voice low and gruff. His hands slowly ran up her thighs, the silk of her dress bunching up around his wrists. His hands felt warm on her skin, ‘’Am I distracting you, husband?’’ he asked with a wicked smile as she grinded on his hard member through their clothes, she could feel him twitch under her, he let out a low moan, his grip on her tightened, ‘’You know you are,’’ his voice ragged. ‘’You drive me insane, my love.’’ His hands wandered up her body, slipping under her dress to the small of her back. Feyd’s blue eyes roamed over her, taking in the sight of her curves clad in satin and the desire building in his gaze. He needed her. Y/N continued humping on him, loving the way his large hands feel on her body, she could feel herself getting aroused, and his hard on was evident. Feyd’s breathing quickened, the feel of her body moving against his, through the fabric, sent sparks of desire through him. ‘’Gods pet…’’ he whispered, his voice rough with need. ‘’You’re absolutely sinful.’’ That earned a chuckle from her, ‘’You or me?’’ she asked sarcastically, she guided her hands so that he could take off the dress over her head, and now she was in her light yellow lingerie with laces that covers her breasts that getting larger due to the pregnancy, the band of her laced panties cutting her skin, Feyd’s breath caught as he took in the sight of his wife. The yellow lingerie contrasted beautifully with her skin, and the lace accentuated the curves of her body, curves that were made all the more delicious by her pregnancy. ‘’Definitely you,’’ he replied, his hands roamed over her body, exploring the new contours that pregnancy were giving her, even the changes were new but Feyd could tell, he wanted to worship her, to take her so completely. His hands moved to cup her breast through the fabric and it made her moan softly, her breasts were sensitive these days. His eyes darkened with her moan, it made him want her even more. ‘’You are so incredibly beautiful,’’ hands palmed her breasts, rubbing gently, ‘’every part of you.’’ He kept rubbing her sensitive breasts through the thin fabric, his touch was gentle, his fingers teasing, the fabric heightened the sensation, she could feel the heat pooling between her thighs as he played with her breasts, ‘’You drive me mad, love.’’ He whispered in her ear, ‘’I want to worship you, to make you mine completely.’’ With that her hands moved to his pants zipper, pulling it down, one of Feyd’s hands found her soaking core, she breathed sharply when his fingers made contact with the wetness. His breath hitched as he realized the wetness, she was soaked, begging for his attention. He had to remind himself that this time he wanted to take her slowly, tenderly. But the temptation to give in to his need for her was strong. ‘’Gods, love!’’ he rubbed her needing core as he spoke, gently, ‘’You’re so ready for me.’’ His hands on her soaking core sent electricity through her body, he pushed her panties aside to work his hands more, she was gasping and moaning with light touches of his fingers, her body ached for him, needing him to fill her as she was desperate for him. ‘’Little dove…’’ his lips were on her neck, tickling her, ‘’I want to hear you call my name. I want you to beg for me.’’ His words a mix of demand and desire. ‘’Feyd..’’ she moaned his name, ‘’Please…’’ he loved the way his name sounded on her lips, a desperate plea that went straight to his cock.
‘’Please what, little wife?’’ he asked playfully, his words a low, seductive drawl. He wanted her to say exactly what she needed and desired. ‘’I want you,’’ she palmed his face and looked into his eyes, ‘’deep inside of me.’’ And kissed him raw. His body responded immediately, pulling his pants down, he let her take control, Y/N helped him with his pants and then sat back on his lap, placed her wet entrance on hi hard and leaking cock, ‘’I’m going to give you exactly what you want, my love.’’ He growled against her lips, ‘’I’m going to fill you completely.’’ Feyd gripped her waist tightly, digging his fingers to her skin as she sank down, she moaned loudly as she felt Feyd fill her up with one stroke the hilt, Feyd’s eyes were almost crazed, fixed to her with a feral look. Her hands went to his shoulders, her tightness wrapping around him which made him growl in desperation. His hands went to her hips to grip and make her move slowly, ‘’You feel so good.’’ He breathed and Y/N started to move on him, Feyd watched his wife ride him, her breasts bouncing with the rhythm and with one swift move he ripped her bra, tossed it on the floor somewhere. His hand went to flick her nipple, the tip was so hard under his fingers he leaned into take it into his wet mouth, she gasped with the feeling. Her grip on his shoulders tightened, he teased and played with the nipple, he pulled back. His breath was hot against her chest, and his lips found hers as she bounced on his cock. Their kiss were hard and wet, his hands moved to her hips to guide her, they were breaking the kiss to moan and then kissing again. It was enough, Feyd flipped her on her back on the couch and mounted her, her legs wrapped around his waist quickly, pulling him deeper. He was on top of her, pounding like there was no one in this entire galaxy but her, Y/N was the only one who could get him like this, needy, desperate. ‘’Feyd..’’ she moaned his name over and over again when his large hand played with her clit, Feyd loved it when she moaned his name, ‘’Again.’’ He demanded with his raspy voice, ‘’Feyd-Rautha..’’ it was enough for him to come in her wet cunt, he was buried deep as he came he kept playing with her clit to bring her to come and she was a whimpering mess, ‘’I know, I know shhh..’’ she was shaking as she gushed, a pool of liquid left her core coating the couch.
He laid on top of her afterwards she pet his head gently, it was soothing to listen to her heart beat, his blue eyes closed involuntarily.
They were in each other’s arms, embraced the calmness in these hard times when their door violently knocked. Y/N opened her eyes with a heart beat that could be heard miles away. Feyd immediately jumped and made sure to help his wife get dressed, and then he took care of himself, marched to the door and unlocked it, his most trusted man entered. ‘’My Baroness.’’ He addressed Y/N first, and then Feyd, ‘’My Baron. I apologies to disturb you, however, we have detected ships approaching Arrakis, the ships are carrying House Harkonnen banners.’’ A grim atmosphere hung in the air. ‘’He is here.’’ Y/N whispered, her voice betraying her with a little shake, did that mean today was her last night? Feyd was going to fight for her till the end but if it meant also his death then…
‘’Ready our troops.’’ Feyd said to his man, looking stoic as ever, his man bowed and left the bed chambers. He turned to face the large windows, it was sunset, the ships of Harkonnens looked as if tiny dots in the Dune’s atmosphere, ‘’So it begins.’’ Feyd whispered to himself when his wife approached and held his hand.

Chapter Fourteen
He knew his size so he tried his best but the animal inside of him was clawing to take over, to give in to his instincts. He tried to focus on her, on her face, on her body, on the way she felt around him, he tried to keep his movements measured, even as the need for more grew stronger with each moment. It was a battle of wills, a struggle against himself and he tried to stay the course. As she had gotten used to the rhythm she knew the look on his face, he was controlling himself, she knew that he wanted to be rough, ‘’Feyd,’’ she moaned, ‘’Faster..’’ his eyes darkened with the last sentence, his body responding instantly. Hearing her say ‘’Faster.’’ Sent a spark through him, and the wild animal inside of him started to break free. She was challenging him, making him lose control, and the animal inside him wanted to rise to the challenge. Feyd felt her trust in him, and that only made him want her more and he started to pick up the pace, his body moving with a new intensity. She moaned in pleasure and shock, she was once again reminded of how strong he was, her hands went to his muscular chest, her tits bouncing with the fast rhythm, Feyd grabbed her wrists tightly with one hand and pinned them above her head, he wanted to take her, dominate her, ‘’I trust you..’’ she managed to say, she wanted to see him lose control. Something in him snapped, his control slipped, broken by the trust Y/N put in him. The animal within him took over completely, no longer held back by anything. He pulled out for a moment, flipping her around her stomach, and pushed her into the bed, he pinned her arms behind her back with one hand. She obliged, had no other choice. Feyd leaned down and growled into her ear, ‘’I’m going to show you what it means to belong to me.’’ And then he pushed in her, filling her with one harsh push. Feyd’s need for her consuming him, he was slamming into her relentlessly, ‘’My little dove..’’ only thing he cared about was getting as deep as he could. The animal side of him was in total control, and he was driven by nothing but the primal need to possess his wife, to make her his own. His words are harsh, breathless, and desperate. ‘’You’re mine, all mine. Don’t fight back, just take it like a good little wife you are.’’
He spanked her ass with his free hand, his hand coming down with a loud slap. He was in complete control, fueled solely by the primal need to dominate her. ‘’You’re going to take what I give you my little wife.’’ Their skin slapped with each movement, their moans and whimpers filling the air, he could feel she was close again, he kept spanking her, he was adoring the way she let him do this.
Feyd was close, watching her ass jiggle, the sound of their skin collapsing was too much and, his free hand stopped slapping her ass cheek and found its way on her clit, he wanted her to come with him, ‘’Give me another one sweet wife.’’ He was towering her, his lips on her ear and he bit her earlobe,
‘’How did it feel to watch me fight today?’’ he asked with his raspy voice and she was whimpering under him, her body started to shake like it did before, ‘’That’s it!’’ he encouraged his wife, ‘’Come for me little dove.’’ His hand rubbing her clit and his monster cock in her drove her mad and she felt her release like the waves crushing to the shore, she was gushing and also felt Feyd release himself in her core. They were a hot mess, sheets were soaked underneath them.
Even though it was their second time having sex in this 2 month old marriage it was as if their bodies and souls had met years ago. For once Feyd-Rautha appreciated the Bene Gesserit for matchmaking, although he had his eyes on her since their childhood the witches of Bene Gesserit were onto something. He needed no one but her.. and their child.
Feyd got up and carefully lifted her numb body, carried his wife to the bathroom, there was a grey marble tub, big enough for both of them and he filled it with warm water and then placed her inside. He poured the oils he liked on her skin and hair, rose and lavender. Those had never grown in Giedi Prime but whenever Y/N visited the planet she smelled like those scents so as a child and in his teenage years he looked forward to her visits, just to be in her presence… she had no idea how he had waited and yearned for her.
Later he got into the tub, her back was on his chest so he started to brush her wonderful hair, he always wanted to do that, ‘’I have always admired your hair.’’ He found himself admitting, the almighty Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen was nothing but a soft man with her, ‘’Really?’’ she asked curious, she figured it out before when he kept looking at her hair or smelling her head. ‘’I like the way it bounces and captures the perfumes and oils you wear.’’ His large hands were so soothing, massaging her scalp, ‘’Hmm..’’ she hummed in pure bliss, Feyd’s hand went to her stomach, he still couldn’t believe she was carrying their first child. He was going to be a father. He remembered his own father, Abulurd Rabban, Baron’s step-brother. He didn’t realize he huffed in discomfort, ‘’What’s wrong?’’ she asked turning her head, she saw him on her peripheral vision, he seemed… sad.
‘’I just remembered my father.’’
She felt a stone drop in her stomach, she remembered the book she had found back in Giedi Prime’s dark fortress,
Emmie Rabban’s cause of death: Matricide
Abulurd Rabban’s cause of death: Patricide
‘’What do you remember about him?’’ she asked carefully, Feyd’s hand still on her stomach, rubbing gently, ‘’I was taken to my uncle when I was an infant so I only know the stories of him.’’ He began and Y/N let him speak, ‘’He became the Count of Lankiveil, there he fell in love with my mother…’’ he paused which caught her attention, her heart started to beat faster, was her fate going to be the same as his mother?‘’Emmi Rabban, was her name. She was from House Rabban, a minor House. After the marriage my father renounced the Harkonnen name and took up my mother’s family name.’’ To her core she felt the love they had for each other, no man in their right mind would take his wife’s House name. He must have been madly in love to lose his powerful and prestigious name. ‘’Maybe I can make you an Atreides.’’ She joked to lighten the mood and Feyd chuckled deeply, ‘’What happened to your father?’’ she asked as if she didn’t know that he was patricide. ‘’Baron ordered Glossu to kill him.’’ He said, his voice flat, ‘’I am so sorry Feyd.’’ She whispered and fully turned to him, splashing water to the ground but she didn’t care, she sat on his lap, it made sense because Glossu Rabban was much older than him but Emmi Rabban had died years later. Could it be him? Y/N also realized that Feyd started to address his uncle and brother as Baron and Glossu Rabban, her Bene Gesserit instincts were telling her that he was starting to drop the blood bind that he shared with them. Y/N’s hand went to his pale face, the back of her fingers brushed his cheek, he seemed a man tortured, she didn’t want to imagine what kind of manipulative lessons he got from Baron, what kind of sick and twisted teachings he had to go under, ‘’Feyd?’’ she whispered softly, ‘’Hmm?’’ he was leaning to her touch, ‘’What happened to your mother?’’ she asked directly, Feyd froze for a second, in his deep ocean eyes she could see the hesitation. She was about to find out. ‘’I used to see her, as much as Baron let me see her.’’ He began, Y/N held her breath. ‘’As I reached my teenage years I started to sneak into her planet, more often than the Baron wished. He was afraid that I might run away and live with her. Gods knew I did,’’ he exhaled, ‘’I wanted to live with her so bad and he knew.’’ She could hear the agony in his raspy voice, his child like image came to her mind, wanting to be with his only living parent. It broke her heart. Y/N kept her silence so that he would explain further, the scent of lavender and rose made them more relaxed and loose, it was a rare moment to see him like this.
‘’One day, I was visiting her again, apparently Baron’s spies were everywhere, that they I learned it in a harsh way.’’ Y/N held her breath, ‘’I was getting ready to leave, she kissed my cheek and held my face in her warm palms until her nose started to bleed, her palms got colder quickly, and she fell to the floor,’’ Feyd’s eyes were looking away from her, focused on a spot in the grand bathchamber, ‘’Baron had made my personal chef put a certain substance in my food that anyone touched me in 12 hours they would get poisoned, it was a type where it didn’t have any effect on the consumer. I could do nothing to stop it.’’
Y/N’s Bene Gesserit senses were telling her that he was off the hook, he was the one who caused it but he was unaware of it. Her human side was aching in agony, this poor boy must have felt that he was the reason and blamed himself for years and years. She held his face in her palms, like his mother did. ‘’It wasn’t your fault.’’ She said softly, ‘’I am aware of that-‘’
‘’It wasn’t your fault Feyd.’’ She meant it, every word and with that Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, the fearsome Na-Baron of Giedi Prime, the Whip of Arrakis (that’s what the Fremen addressed him as) started to shake violently, as if the years of pain and self blame surfaced and his buried his face in his wife’s neck, pulling her harshly and tears left his ocean blue eyes.
All she could do was to be there and hug him, their naked bodies clung to each other, they became one, their souls pouring to each other’s hearts. In that moment she swore to herself that it was just her and him, and their little baby.. in her mind’s eye she saw a vision, Feyd was holding a baby in his arms and Y/N was holding the other… in that moment her Bene Gesserit trainings told her that she was carrying twins and she decided on the babies gender, a boy and a girl and she was going to suggest to name them as Emmi and Abulurd to honor her husband’s parents and pay a homage to them. They died but their names shall live in their grandchildren.
The very next morning Feyd woke up early, in fact he didn’t get much sleep, his dark and twisted mind was alert, making plans to save his wife and child, little did he know that there was an extra one. He remembered the conversation he had with his wife’s father, Duke Leto Atreides on the wedding day,
‘’Duke Leto,’’ he called for him, ‘’May we speak in private?’’ it was before the arena.
‘’Yes, we may.’’ And Feyd took him to his study. ‘’Do not have any fear for your daughter’s future for I am her provider and protector starting today. She will be taken care of the way she wishes. Not a strand of her hair will be harmed. You have my word.’’ And he bowed respectfully.
Leto looked at him different than the day his daughter was taken. Today he was going to be his son-in-law, the father of his future grandchildren, ‘’If you need anything,’’ Leto began, ‘’I will be there for you, son.’’ And he hugged Feyd. Feyd wasn’t used to getting hugs or sentimental things from his family members so he was startled at first but he hugged Leto back.
He slowly left the bed, got dressed in black, as usual and he marched to his study room, there he sat and got his personal device to send a voice memo, he hesitated before he pressed the button to record his voice but then he exhaled and pressed the button, the device turned green it was recording.
‘’Greetings Duke Leto Atreides, This is an urgent message, my wife has fled Giedi Prime and came to Arrakis. Due to this action my uncle demands her head,’’ he paused, the gravity of the situation hitting him all at once, ‘’I have promised you that I will keep her safe, and you said if I needed anything you would be there..’’ he had a warm feeling in his chest when he remembered how serious and willing Duke Leto was in that moment and he continued recording his voice, ‘’ I am going to take over Giedi Prime and become it’s rightful Baron. I need your, House Atreides’ support and I need it very soon. Your daughter needs your support… I need your support. Please help us.’’
Asking for help wasn’t something he used to, all his life he never asked for something because his slaves where there for his every need and desires, it wasn’t an easy message to record.
Feyd stopped the record and immediately sent it to Caladan.
Thank you for reading. :)

I’ve been thinking of one where Reader is a concubine of Paul, but she gets ignored because he has Chani & Irulan. Paul mainly has her around because she gets along with him, Chani, and Irulan and keeps the peace between them as a concubine and as a healer. He is possessive of her but doesn’t love her romantically, but reader wants to be loved and held. Then Feyd comes in-he gets injured-reader tends to him and he falls for her, but she doesn’t know what to do because she’s loyal to Paul and never had this type of attention before. Then Feyd becomes like her personal bodyguard & shenanigans ensue.
A/N: Omg this was in my drafts for so long. Thank you so much for the request I loved writing it. Hope you'll like it.
Warnings: Battle but not any detailed gore or depictions.
“Lord Paul expects his wife and his concubines. It is urgent.” You were chatting with Chani when one of the guards barged into the garden section of the palace, drinking spice coffee and talking about life was your favorite activity to do with her, she was a great friend to have. Whenever something important accured Pauld would request his partners at his side, his wife and Chani on his right and you were standing on his left.
Paul was sitting on his gold throne, the colorful windows at the ceiling casted rainbow lights on the marble floors of the throne room. He was dressed in Atreides colors, red and after his victory dark shade of green. Irulan was already there, Chani smiled at you kindly and took her place. Paul didn’t even notice you, he wasn’t a bad person, he took you in because you were an orphan and you had great skills. Especially healing, because at the Siech you helped your old Reverend Mother, she thought you many things. You stood in your space, facing the tall doors and waited. “Let him in.” Paul’s voice was heard and the tall heavy doors opened, you wondered about the person you were about to see. He must be important.
You saw a tall, bald headed man walk in with pride, his uniform was jet black, his combat boots made it sound like he was marching to war… or was he?
“Bow before your Emperor Paul Muadib Atreides.” Duncan Idaoh’s voice harsh voice echoed in the throne room. The bald man looked at Idaho and then Paul, and he fell on his knees. “Your message intrigued me.” Paul began which made the man look up at him, “Rise and explain your scheme, Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen.” He finished and you felt your heart burn in fire, “A Harkonnen?!” You thought, they were the reason you were an orphan, they were the reason why your people suffered for years. Your hands were in fists you had to be calm. Your harsh gaze found his already staring blue eyes, his eyes were originally blue not because of the spice. His eyes trailed a path on your body and found your face, you were wearing a tight orange dress, your long hair loose, you had golden bracelets on your arms. You didn’t flinch from his stare, in fact, you stared back into his eyes with primal fury in your soul. His gaze turned back to Paul, ''I have interesting news about my uncle and I thought you might like to hear and make an alliance.. so to speak.'' his raspy voice sent shivers to your body, so dominant and cold. Paul didn’t say anything, just let him speak.
“Baron Vladimir Harkonnen has been gathering troops from Salusa Secundus.”
Duncon Idaho whispered but enough for you to hear, “Old Emperor’s troops.”
“He is planning on attacking Arrakis in a few days.” He finished, staring at Paul with a smirk.
Paul regarded him suspiciously, “Why are you telling me this? He is your uncle after all.” He was right.
“I am tired of being Na-Baron of Giedi Prime, I desire to be it’s Baron and only ruler.” He confessed one of his deepest desires, Paul raised an eyebrow, “I would like to discuss this with my advisors. In the meantime you’re our guest. You shall have a second of the palace for yourself and servants to attend your every need.” Paul swiftly stood up from his throne, and walked down the stairs, his subjects including you following him. You never liked these situations where you had to follow him like a puppy. You wanted to stand next to him as his concubine. He was a nice man to you but it was obvious that his affections laid with Chani, not you and certainly not Irulan. You desired to be held by him, considered to be his equal but he discarded you so many times. His cold eyes never regarded you with… anything really. To him and others you were just a Fremen healer girl.
As you walked past Feyd-Rautha, he looked at you again, in a way all women wanted to be looked at… your trainings had told you so but you brushed his intense gaze off, kept your composure and walked past him gracefully.
Next day you were having breakfast at the gardens, the palace had gardens but the part you usually went was at the back. Not many people visited here so it was peaceful and calm. You were seated by the fountain which used to overflow with water but you made the servants cut the water. To you it was a waste of water and Arrakis was never kind to her residents whom regarded water as insignificant.
Over time you started to tend to the flowers and trees, ever since you became Muad’Dib’s you could access to knowledge of anything thanks to the lavish library. You started to learn about plants which you have never seen or heard before and slowly it became your passion. You were in your deep thoughts when a sudden cough attracted your attention, you turned to face the owner and it was him. Even though you didn’t want it you had to get up and bow respectfully, “My Na-Baron.” You greeted him. He was wearing a sleeveless tunic and satin, loose pants. His arms looking strong, up close he looked paler than usual. “What’s your name?” His direct question startled you. “Y/N. My Lord.” You said, still in shock.
“Your name is pretty as your face.”
You could feel your cheeks heat, it had been a long time since someone had complimented you.
He sat on the empty seat, “Sit.” He gestured for you to sit and you did. “Eat.” He said as he started to eat a fig from your plate. You continued eating, there was a silence, noticing his piercing blue gaze on you.
“What are you to him?” He was the one who broke the silence.
You understood what he meant, “I’m sure my Lord already knows.” You replied, didn’t want to say it.
Feyd smiled wickedly, was he playing a game?
“I do… but I want to be sure.”
You sighed before you spoke, “I am Paul Muad’Dib Atreides’s concubine.”
He scuffed in annoyance, “A concubine who doesn’t warm a bed isn’t truly a concubine.” His remark made you look up at him sharply, he was still smiling. How did he know that Paul never had you? Not even once…
“Our Muad’Dib-“ he cut you off, “He doesn’t care for you-“ he paused for a split second, “properly. Does he?” His tone carried something carnal. You couldn’t reply back to him for he was telling the truth.
“If you were mine you would be… looked after and taken care of.”
What was he trying to say to you?
You had heard so many horrible stories about him and how he treated the slaves he took to his bed or his servants in general. Most died in a few days. Thankfully you weren’t alone. You belonged to someone, even though he didn’t want you in that way.
''My Lord Na-Baron..'' you protested in shock, didn't know how to reply in a respectful manner and you saw the wicked smirk on his face. He got up from his chair, got a purple grape from your table and he leaned on the small table, you had no idea what was going on before it was too late. He made you open your mouth and eat the grape, the juice running from the corner of your lips, he wiped the juice with his thumb and licked it, ''Just saying.'' he said and left.
The rest of the day you couldn't eat anything or focuse on anyhting, even the servants around you had noticed but didn't dare to utter a word.
The second day he was on the palace you ran into him. You were walking to accompany Princess Irulan in her chambers, you had to bow when you saw him, ''Lord Na-Baron.'' you greeted him properly, you had no choice but your cheeks flushed with the memory of yesterday. He hummed in pleasure when he saw your cheeks, he had two bodguards wgiven him by Paul hismelf. Of course they were spying on him and reporting everyhting he did so he wanted to put on a show for him, ''Lady Y/N, how lovely to see you here.'' he began, his raspy voice wasn't something one could get used to, it sent electricity to her body, she nodded in return. ''May I accompany you to your destination?'' he offered extending his arm to you and you could not refuse a Na-Baron.
You took his arm and together headed to the section of Irulan's chambers, ''I cannot stop thinking about our conversation yesterday, I would love to talk to you more.'' he mentioned, making sure the bodyguards aka spies heard him correctly. ''I do love to entertain you with conversations Na-Baron but unfortunately I am very busy.'' you reached to Irulan's double doors, no men was allowed from here.
''I must attend to our Princes Irulan. I bid you good day.'' you said getting your arm back from him, he swiftly held your wrist and planted a kiss on the back of your palm, ''Till next time.''
You walked into Irulan's chambers dizzy.
The news of Feyd's interest in you have reached Paul's ears. He was in his study when his spies had explained the situation, was this a game or was he actually interested? Nonetheless you were his, his concubine. It was unacceptable. He specifically asked if you were also interested but his spies only said that you were respectful and didn't cross a line, he was glad to hear that your loaylty laid on him.
It was the 5th day of his arrival that he took things further, until today he kept teasing and impyling things to you but you were stubborn. Why did you insisted on belonging to someone who didn't take you? Or showed any interest at all. In these past 5 days all he had seen was that you followed Chani and Irulan like a lost cub, you hid behind the shadows but no longer. His plan was to tear you from the shadows and give you the spotlight you deserved.
As he was dwelling on these thoughts siren was heard, it was show time. He had told Paul that it was most likely for Baron to strike on the 5th day and he was right, he quickly wore his uniform which was given him by Paul himself, earlier today he was visited by him.
''I want you to lead the attack. I want Baron to see you in Atreides unfirom.'' he demaned and it was the perfect opportunity for Feyd, ''If I do so I might ask something in return.'' he replied as he was holding the dark green uniform with a golden Atreides badge on the left shoulder, ''You shall have your planet and rule it as it's Baron, as we have agreed.'' Paul pointed out the agreement, ''I know but I want something else too.''
Paul was intrigued, ''Which is?''
''Once I have won your battle for you I will reveal it. Do not fret.'' Feyd placed his hand on Paul's shoulder and gave a wicked smile. Paul didn't know what it was but if it was soemthing he could give then it was settled if he won the battle of course.
The battle took only few hours for Atreides soldiers ready and plannes have been made beforehand thanks to Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen. He led the troops to victory, as he fought his brother Rabban in a combat he got injured but he managed to defeate Glossu Rabban Harkonnen, by defeat Feyd took his head and put it on a spike and placed it on the battlefield, after that Atreides chanted their voictory shout. Baron was sent to prison along with remaining Sardaukar soldiers.
Feyd marhced the marble halls of the palace to the throne room, the doors opened for him, he heard Paul clap in victory, ''As you have said, Baron attacked on the 5th day and you have defeated him. Bravo Feyd.'' he greeted him with a smile, seated on his golden throne. Feyd was glad that he had audience, advisors, politicians and highly ranked soldiers.
His eyes found you, behind Irulan and next to Chani, and yet you had chosen to stand a step behind her. You wore jet black today, why? He loved the color on you and he couldn't wait to touch you. Your eyes also found him, he was covered in blood and you noticed that he got stabbed. Why was he here instead of getting treatment? He was a crazy man you were sure now.
Others had followed clapping, chanting in his name.
After the loud sounds died down Paul spoke, ''As I have promised, you shall have Giedi Prime and run it as its new Baron. I am sure our alliance will continue from generation to generation.'' he announced.
Feyd bowed on one knee, ''Emperor!'' he raised his head from his place, ''I have another wish too. A small and pretty one.''
''Oh, yes you have mentioned something earlier, pray tell.''
''I do not wish to run my planet alone. I want a woman by my side.'' he began which attract the entire ton's attentin.
''I want Lady Y/N by my side, as my wife.''
And everyone held their breaths, everyone in this room knew that you were an untouched concubine, his least favorite companion. However you were still Paul's. You were in shock, was he serious or joking? Harkonnens do tend to have a strange sense of humor. Chani held your hand and squezzed in reassuringly.
Paul Muad'dib's face was stoic, not giving any clue on how he felt or what was he about to say. His most rusted soldier and advisor was by his side, Duncon Idaho looked more stern than his Emperor.
''She is my concubine, as you know.'' Paul's voice was flati matter of factly.
There wasn't a single sound in the entire throne room, Feyd got to his feet, he could feel his open wound, throbbing softly but he didn't mind.
''Haven't I been generous?'' Paul said questioningly, ''You have your own planet to yourself now and no doubt high ladies in Giedi Prime would love to be your wife.'' Paul didn't understand Feyd's reasons behind this request.
''You are right, however I do not wish to have any of them. I only want Lady Y/N. In my time I have come to a realization that,'' he turn to the audience to gain their favor, ''she is the only one who could be my equal and represent my name with respect. Her loyalty is unmatched and If you let me,'' he turned back to Paul. ''I am going to take care of her and make sure she is comfortable till the day she closes her eyes to this galaxy.''
Your heart was beating at it's full capacity, was he telling the truth or was this just a game? It was true that these past days he was courting you and trying to get your attention but now it was serious.
The ton started to ramble, he heard whispers saying that
''He betrayed his uncle for god's sake''
''New Baron looks devoted''
''He won the battle in few hours''
Paul raised his hand to silence the crowd, ''Due to Feyd-Rautha's outstanding victory in the battle and his sacrifice of his family, I would love to give Lady Y/N to him, however..''
he looked around, testing the waters, ''It is for her to decide. It isn't my place.''
Paul was hopeing maybe you would stay, now that someone was interested in you he thought how beautiful you were... it was too late though.
Chani urged you to walk, you walked down the stairs of the throne and you bowed once you were below Paul. ''My Emperor, thank you so much for your protection over the years,'' she began, her body was calm but her mind was screaming at her ''What are you doing?''
''I believe I have served you enough. I would like to be on Baron Feyd-Rautha's side.'' once the words slipped her mouth there was no going back. She couldn't believe herself.
''Then it is settled. Congradulations.'' Paul announced with a sullen look but only Duncon could tell.
You turned and walk to Feyd quickly with the worry in your eyes, ''Let's take care of your wound my Baron.''
He liked it. ''My Baron.''
Back at his chambers you were stitching his sound on the side of his stomach in silence, the events of what happened still ringing in your ear. ''Why?'' he asked calmly, watching your sitting form, your hands quick and with his question you hurt him unintentionally of course. ''Sorry,'' you looked up, ''Why did you accept me?'' he asked directly.
You were silent for a few seconds, after you were finished with his wound you rubbed an oil to heal it quicker, his back was leaned on the couch, legs spread, you got up from the couch, placed your healing stuff back to the kit and turned to him, ''Because of you.''
He looked puzzled so you explained, ''You look like you would kill an entire nation if someone touched a strand of my hair. Paul could never give me that.''
It was true and it made Feyd smile to see that you understood how possessive and protective he was towards you.
He got up from the couch, walked to you and his hand went to your hair, he had never seen scuh beautiful color and length, he had wanted to touch your hair for so long and now he felt how soft the strands were, ''You and I, against the galaxy.'' he whispered as he leaned for a kiss.
Thank you for reading. :)

Chapter Thirteen ''Union''
In the coronation chamber, Baron Vladimir Harkonenn was seated in his floating device, towering above his subjects, he was fuming in anger. Lady Wench’s servants’ heads on the stairs of his throne, covering the black stone stairs in blood, It looked as if the stairs were a river of black water, ‘’How could she manage to escape?!’’ he roared at his advisor who was also his right hand, the bald headed man was shaking in fear, he was a lithe man, his uniform jet black with certain colors on his left shoulder to show his rank. ‘’My Lord, Baron Vladimir,’’ he began, controlling his voice, his head low, ‘’Our Lady Na-Baroness-‘’ his speech was cut with Baron’s raspy voice, ‘’Do not dare call that bedchamber whore Na-Broness!’’ he had been ordering heads, shouting for strategic plans, he had sent a very angry letter to the Padishah Emperor Shaddam and also Duke Leto and the Reverend Mother. That old wench was the reason why Vladimir said yes to this union, he knew this little girl was a trouble and he remembered the conversation he had with Feyd-Rautha, his nephew months ago when he had a meeting at Shaddam’s study chambers, Feyd had attended few minutes later…
‘’Did I miss anything?’’ Feyd entered with a wicked smile, he had just finished dancing with Lady Y/N, it brought up his spirits to annoy her, the look on her face was something he would like to see for the rest of his life. Shaddam was sitting on a stone chair, Duke was facing Vladimir. Reverend Mother was behind the Emperor.‘’Here is my nephew.’’ He announced, ‘’He had grown up since you saw him, Duke Leto.’’ It was true, the last time Atreides family had visited Giedi Prime all of their children were little, playing and fighting together. It broke the Duke’s heart to see how much the Baron corrupted his own nephews, Rabban was gone but maybe, maybe Feyd could be saved. ‘’I highly object to this union.’’ Duke said firmly, his hands were formed into fists, he wasn’t going to sell his first born daughter like a livestock, ‘’Leto,’’ Shaddam raised his hand and draw the attention, to Shaddam, Leto was like a son he never had, he wanted Leto to understand how much he cared for this union, all eyes were on their galactic Emperor. Reverend Mother was whispering venom into his ear, or so Leto thought.
‘’This union is very important to our houses and the entire galaxy. Long ago Atreides and Harkonnen fought for centuries and shed blood. I desire to prevent this happen again. It’s time for you to unite.’’
Of course there was some truth to it but the Bene Gesserit’s only plan wasn’t this. They have been trying to create a bloodline both connected to the Atreides and Harkonnen directly. Duke hated the witches, except Jessica, she was different, Duke hoped that she would support him, it was such a shame that even though they have been together for years she was still a Bene Gesserit witch. He was soon going to find out.
One could look up and see the strange look on Feyd’s face, Baron knew that look, he was excited for his new toy but he had suspicions, she seemed too independent and disobedient. Feyd would soon to be fed up with her and toss her aside once she gives birth to the heir of house Harkonnen. That night he warned Feyd when they were alone, ‘’If you do not wish to be with her we can find someone else for you. After all, their purpose is the same.’’ Baron said, he was on his bed, smoking, Feyd was summoned late at night to speak with his uncle. ‘’No uncle, I do wish her and only her.’’ That wicked smile placed itself on his plump lips.
He had never understood why Feyd was so persistent with her.. he didn’t have time to dwell on it anyways. ‘’My nephew shall find her and bring her to justice.’’ He announced, if he had looked hard enough he would see the reluctant eyes of his subjects, little did he know that Lady Na-Baroness had gained the favor of the people of Giedi Prime.
After her session with the Reverend Mother of the Sietch Y/N retrieved to her chamber, a small space with rugs on the floor and walls, she got used to the smell of the spice, she got used to the people and the people got used to her even though she caught them staring time to time, she looked different and her head was held high all the time, it draw attention that she was a member of the Bene Gesserit and could use the voice. She meditated all night on the words and facial structure of the Mother,
‘’he is looking for his wife..’’
‘’a treachery on his part..’’
‘’Soon..’’
It must be Feyd, she was sure that her arrival was detected by his men and they must be looking for her but treachery part was confusing, she tried to channel her ancestors but it was in vain, she had to be skilled for that. She gave up the meditation because a huge sound was heard throughout the Sietch, a blasting sound and a mini second later she could hear the screams and the laser guns. Y/N immediately left her room, Fremen soldiers were gearing up, old women and children were being escorted to safety, she could see that with huge machines the walls of Sietch were being blasted, ‘’Y/N!’’ her new friend Sama screamed her name and she turned to find the source and saw Sama running towards her, she was holding a knife and a small laser gun, ‘’Here, take these. The Harkonnens are attacking us. I don’t know how they found us-‘’ another huge blast and from the giant hole a pack of bald headed men in black uniform entered with their high-tech guns. It was them for sure. ‘’Go,’’ she said to Sama, ‘’you have duties, I can protect myself.’’ Sama was reluctant but Y/N reassured her and smiled, after Sama’s departure she joined other healers and Sayyadinas to help the children and elderly, the entire Sietch was covered in dust which was the mixture of spice and smoke, Fremen soldiers were strong and charging but the Harkonnens had more arms and outnumbered the Fremen. Y/N was in charge of helping the old Reverend Mother to safety, she ran to her bedchamber to collect her, the woman was dressed in orange satin, a yellow scarf covering her hair, ‘’Reverend Mother,’’ she yelled to be heard, ‘’you have to leave. Now.’’ The old woman calmly looked at her with spice blue eyes, ‘’You are the only one who can save us,’’ she said with a low voice, ‘’go to him. End this war.’’
Y/N understood clearly and bowed her head, she ran back to the common hall of the Sietch which was raided by the Harkonnens, she was watching from a corner and she saw her husband, Feyd-Rautha Harkonenn, he was giving orders to his men, he was covered in black but on his arm there was a scarf tied, it was hers. Her heart ache when she saw it, he must have been looking for her for weeks. She had to do something to stop the battle and the bloodshed so she came up with an idea. Y/N looked around and found a high platform, a rock that towered the common hall, it was a place where sometimes Stilgar would announce things and make his speeches. She ran towards the rock to climb it, on the way she was careful and trying to not be found and recognized, the screams of innocent Fremens filled her ears and made her climb harder, her fingers were bleeding when she reached the top and with all of her strength she yelled; ‘’STOP!’’ thanks to the Sietch’s design at this place someone’s voice could be heard clearly from everywhere inside. The Fremens and the Harkonnen soldiers stopped and looked p to find the source of the sound, Feyd-Rautha knew that voice, the smell of her pheromones brought him here and there she was, on top of a rock, her beautiful hair long and loose, they made her wear a baggy beige dress, she looked tired and sad… ‘’My wife..’’ he whispered. She was here, he had found her. ‘’You have kidnapped my wife!’’ Feyd-Rautha screamed at Stilgar who was closer to the rock, there was a distance between them but they could see each other, Stilgar knew that this woman was a Harkonnen’s wife and his people didn’t believe him. He was right all along. ‘’Make truce and you can have your wife back Harkonnen!’’ Stilgar uncovered his mask to be heard, he was suspecting that Feyd-Rautha was going to attack and he did something which made everyone stunned, he dropped his weapon, ‘’Let her come to me and I swear you shall have a truce.’’
Stilgar weighed him conscientiously, he also dropped his weapon to show respect, even though the man before him was a Harkonnen. The silence hung in the thick air of the Sietch, due to the fires it was extremely hot inside, Fremen and Harkonnen soldiers were alert yet immobile. Stilgar turned to look at her at the top and motioned his head, she started to climb down the rock, her hands hurt but she managed to be steady, when her bare feet made contact with the sandy floor she released the breath she was holding. Stilgar held her arm vigorously and walked towards Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen.
When Feyd saw that Fremen trash’s hold he was about to get his laser gun to shoot but the look on Y/N’s face was begging him to be wise and calm. ‘’Take your wife and leave.’’ Stilgar said and stop, pushed her to Feyd and he caught her, Y/N was in his arms after so long.. she looked up to meet his azure eyes, she saw so many things there, primal fury, sadness, happiness.. they were all swimming in the deep orbits of his eyes, all he wanted to was to kiss her like a man starved but not here, not right now. Feyd looked at Stilgar who was a few inches away from them, ‘’You have your truce… for a week.’’ And without a beat he held his wife’s arm and guided her outside the Sietch.
No one dared to utter a single word on the ship back to the palace of Arrakis. Y/N sat there on the cold metal chair, Feyd in front of her, and two pilots at the front. His intense gaze was on her, she looked different, her hair was a mess, she looked dirtier and plumper and yet she was the most divine creature he had ever witnessed in his life time. His elbows on his knees, legs spread he was just staring, Y/N’s eyes found the dirty scarf tied around his bicep and then his pale face, he opened his mouth to say something and thought better and closed it. When they arrived she felt his hand on the small of her back, guiding her to the palace, she had seen the holograms of the palace before but seeing it up close was something else. One could see the traces of the Harkonnens, it was built by them 80 plus years ago and it was actually a gigantic structure yet simple. At the top it had a huge dome, she wanted to see it during the day light, maybe she could do it soon if she survived tonight…
His grip on her back tight, firm. Even though he was walking closely beside her his hand was possessive, she could feel it in her bones. The soldiers bowed as they saw her, ‘’Welcome back, Na-Baroness.’’ One of the higher ranked commander greeted her and she gently smiled, she didn’t have strength to speak, however her Bene Gesserit training was alerted, these men were actually relieved that she was here with them, maybe her policy back at Giedi Prime worked. As they walked the long stone corridors and reached to his bedchambers he unlocked the door with his thumb, the door opened and his hand gently pushed her inside and he locked the door, the inside consisted of a big bed, a door to the bathroom chamber, tall windows to see the endless desert, a spice rug at the middle of the room, not much of furniture except a leather couch and two armchairs, he pointed the couch, ‘’Sit.’’ Was the first word he said to her, his whole body tense. His chest felt tight, his fingers twitching, he wanted to take her in his arms again and check for any injuries, he had this deep desire to protect her, he came to sit across from her. Feyd had to take a sharp breath when he saw her eyes taring up but she was keeping her composure, ‘’Why did you escape Giedi Prime?’’
She exhaled, ‘’I had to..’’ she swallowed the lump in her throat, she was about to cry, ‘’I had no choice.’’ Her hand went to her stomach instinctively, his eyes following her action, ‘’Yes Feyd, I’m with child. The look on your face tells me that your uncle Baron Vladimir has been keeping it from you. He was the one who didn’t let me read the letters you had sent me for weeks, he is plotting my death after I give birth to our child.’’
His heart nearly stopped, the thought of her being with child, their child, was almost too much. Her hand on her stomach sent a wave of possessiveness, and protectiveness through him. ‘’I..’’ he began, ‘’You’re pregnant?’’ he was still in shock. He felt sudden rush of different emotions all at once, happiness, surprise and… anger. Anger that his uncle kept them apart, that he kept her pregnancy from him, that he was planning his wife’s death. He wanted to reach out and touch her face, hold her, he had to hear you first and then he was going to love you and show you how much he had missed you. ‘’How long have you been pregnant?’’ his mind went to their last intimate moments, which was two months ago.
‘’For two months.’’ She replied.
It felt like someone punched Feyd, he clenched his jaw, this was all too much. She was pregnant with his child and he haven’t seen her for two months because of his uncle. ‘’Why didn’t you tell me-‘’ he knew there was no point in asking that but he couldn’t help it. The words just slipped out of his plump lips before he could stop them and that earned him a sudden outburst from Y/N. she bolted to her feet in anger, ‘’How was I suppose to tell you, huh? How was I suppose to let my husband know that I am pregnant with our first child when your uncle reads my correspondence and has his spies behind my tail?!’’ she was yelling at this point, ‘’I had to escape, you couldn’t take me with you because of your uncle but I came to you!’’
‘’I KNOW!’’ he nearly yelled at her, he also jumped to his feet, towering above her, he was also angry but not her, never her, he was angry at the entire situation that they were in. ‘’I know that you had to escape, I know that you came to me, I know I couldn’t take you with me!’’ he was yelling now, he took a step towards her, his chest rising and falling rapidly. ‘’Then why are you so cold towards me?!’’ her voice broke.
His hand went to his bald head, frustrated. He wasn’t cold towards her, he was on edge, he was trying to keep himself check, but her words were making him lose it. He grabbed her by the arms, his grip firm. ‘’Because I don’t know what to do! I don’t know what to do with you, with us, with my uncle’s blood plan.. I don’t know!’’
‘’He asked for my head didn’t he?’’ she was calm now, her voice as cold asa Bene Gesserit witch.
He was staring at her, his pupils blown wide, his hands still on her arms, ‘’Yes.’’ He admitted through gritted teeth, his grip even more tighter, he wanted to pull her close, to shield her from everything that was happening, ‘’He demands your head.’’
‘’What are you going to do Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen?’’ she asked coldly, ‘’It’s either your wife or your uncle.’’
His eyes hardened, ‘’I will not let him touch you.’’ He said with a harsh voice, his mind was In turmoil. Ever since he opened his eyes to this galaxy he has learned to suppress and channel emotions, yet he was a mess right now. ‘’I will not let him take you. He wants your head but he will not get it.’’ His gaze was intense, his voice now threatening.
Y/N reached and clashed her lips with his.
He was taken aback by the sudden kiss, his anger and turmoil melting into the kiss and replaced by a rush of desire and need. He grabbed her by the waist and pulled her flush against him, his hands exploring her body greedily. He could feel his body ignite with a hunger for his wife, he was desperate for her touch, flesh, and taste. One of his hands moved up and entangled itself in her hair, holding her there, their mouths melded together in a heated and possessive embrace, it had been so long. She whispered between kisses, ‘’Take me to bed.’’
He immediately picked her up like she weighed nothing, took her to the bed and laid her on the mattress, his body following close behind. He knelt above her, his eyes dark with desire, he kissed her again deeply, his tongue exploring her mouth with a hunger that borders on wild desperation. Her hands reached to take off his uniform and his breath almost stopped , he broke the kiss to help her, when he quickly got rid of his uniform he knelt to kiss her neck, bite and leave his marks on her. His large hands also helped her with her dress and she was naked under him, he took a step back to look at her, his jaw clenched again, his hands gently roamed on her soft flesh, his fingers were tracing every curve, every contour. He bent his head and placed a kiss on her shoulder, working his way down on her body with trail of hot kisses, his mouth worshiping every inch of her. He stopped when he reached her belly and looked up to meet her gaze, he felt a rush of emotions washing over him. It hit him that they were going to be parents, that she was carrying his child inside her. His heart swelled with a warm and fuzzy feeling, his fingers gently caressed her belly, almost as if he wanted to feel the baby that was growing inside her. His eyes were soft for a moment, he started to kiss her stomach again, making it emotional for her as well. Soon he went lower and lower and met her dripping core. His hands were gripping her hips, his mind was swirling with lust and need. A his mouth reached her core, he paused for a moment his breathing ragged and hot. He looked up at her, his eyes dark with desire, and he slowly took one of her legs over his shoulder giving himself more room to work. He slid his tongue over her slick flesh, tasting her, feeling her body shudder under his touch.
He didn’t know what has gotten into him but he just needed to drown himself in her. She moaned when he made the first contact, they had never done this before so it felt more intimate. His lips and tongue exploring her sensitive flesh, he was taking his time, wanting to savor every second. It was different than he had expected, more intimate and more pleasurable. He could feel her tremble under him, hearing her breathing change and he couldn’t help but draw out her pleasure, to make her feel good. His hands gripped her hips, holding her in place as he swirled his tongue over her wetness, taking his time. She screamed his name ‘’Feyd!’’ as he inserted a finger, she was so wet and ready, it sent a wave of desire surging through him. He kept his mouth exploring, his tongue teasing and swirling while his finger worked inside, his mouth was hungry, his body heat getting hotter and hotter, he was losing himself in her reactions, in the sounds she was making, his own need was growing stronger and sending electricity. As he added another finger he could hear her gasps and whimpers, his mouth still on her wet folds, she tasted delicious, he was lost in her. It was so fun to watch her, she looked like a woman possessed and he was the one making her like this. ‘’Feyd,’’ she screamed, ‘’Feyd, I’m coming!’’ there was a feeling on her lower abdomen that she had never felt before, His fingers and mouth kept working, he wanted to see the way she was going to crumble, he was desperate for her to come in his mouth, he was drinking her like a man who had found a river in the middle of the desert. She felt so soft in her mouth that he couldn’t stop himself from biting a bit, it earned him screams, soon she started to shake in pleasure, her hands gripping the bed sheets, as she came undone she screamed his name like a prayer so many times and Feyd didn’t move a muscle, he drank her sweet juice like a submissive servant, who was ready to do whatever she wanted. As she screamed his name he greedily lapped up every drop of her, not wanting to waste a single bit. His desire for her was strong, it was nothing like he experienced before with his former slaves, she was different and every since their first intimate moment he wanted no one but her. She was his, and Feyd wanted to give her more. He climbed up to kiss her, she was still shaking, he could feel her in his mouth, a sweet taste and he wanted her to taste herself so he kissed her raw. He wanted to envelope her and become one, their bodies glued and she could feel his hard member. A moan escaped his lips, his body was tense with desire, needing her so badly. His fingers were gripping her skin as he leaned in to press his lips on her boob, sucking on the sensitive flesh, he had imagined that in a few months her tits were going to leak with milk, her belly swollen with his child and that image mad his rock hard cock twitch, his eyes were on hers as he sucked on the sensitive flesh, her boobs now more sensitive than ever. ‘’My husband..’’ she moaned and threw her head back. He couldn’t stop himself, her moans driving him wild, hearing her call him ‘’my husband’’ just set his heart racing. He moved back up to kiss her his body pressing against her body, ‘’Mine.’’ He said voice hoarse and ragged. ‘’Yours..’’ she managed to say, his mouth devouring hers, he needed her, he had to have her right in this moment so he place himself between her legs, ‘’You’re mine..’’ he took a moment to look at her under him, legs spread, such a fine delicacy and all for him. He entered her sweet folds slowly, and gave her a moment to adjust, she had forgotten how big and thick he was, it felt like the first time all over again and she gasped, ‘’Shhh’’ he knelt to kiss her cheek, her nose, her chin, he pulled out slowly and moved back in, to the hilt.

Chapter Twelve ''Interval''
Y/N woke up with a strange scent hitting her brain through her nostrils, the scent was strong, she opened her eyes but didn’t move because she didn’t know where she was and if they noticed that she was awake they might do something to her. She was on the ground, laid on a thin orange rug, it was made of spice fibers, that was the cause of the smell. She was in Arrakis and the entire planet filled with spice, and it had a strong scent. Someone must have changed her clothes because she was wearing a long dress, the color beige, it was baggy and comfortable. The inside was lit by the dim glowglobes, the color dark yellow, she noticed the coolness of the inside, she was in a Sietch.
‘’Morning Sayyadina.’’ A woman’s voice was heard, without looking Y/N already deduced that it was the same woman who captured her. Thanks to her Bene Gesserit tricks she might walk out alive because the sisterhood had spread their prophecies and religious believes throughout the entire planet.
Y/N slowly moved her body to sat, the ground under her was carved and rough, this Sietch must be thousands of years old and still changing its shape every year, maybe another thousand years it will disappear.
The woman was standing by the open space, the room didn’t have a door just a hole that was covered with a thin sheet of spice curtain, clearly handmade. She entered the room and sat opposite of Y/N. ‘’If I had known you were with child I wouldn’t have hit you so hard.’’ She was sincere, looking at Y/N with dark blue eyes, due to spice consumption the Fremens’ eyes turn to blue. How did they know that she was pregnant? Maybe their Reverend Mother dressed her and found out. Her hand went to her head, a piece of dry blood rubbed itself on her fingers, it hurt but she didn’t make a sound, she couldn’t show any weaknesses. ‘’Here.’’
The woman came with a tray of cold water and piece of bread, Y/N came up with a conclusion that if they wanted her dead she would be dead already so she took the tray and drank the water, it tasted strange but she knew it wasn’t poisoned. ‘’Thank you.’’ She said, keeping her voice calm and neutral. Y/N looked at the woman, she was one of the warriors and she had some designs on her suit that distinguished her from other warriors, her rank must be high. ‘’Why do you call me Sayyadina?’’ she asked, curious. The woman stood up, ‘’Because you are a witch, but you haven’t completed your journey yet. Finish your bread and come with me.’’
It dawned on her, her mind immediately went to a book she had read before coming here, there was a section about Reverend Mothers of Arrakis that said; Sayyadina- Among the Fremen the Syyadina, (Friend of God in Chakobsa) is a priestess who has not yet passed within to become a Reverend Mother. When a Sayyadina undergoes the spice agony, another is then consecrated into the Sayyadina to continue the line of succession.
Did they want her to be the new Reverend Mother? For the Sisterhood, especially Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam it would be a great victory, having Y/N as Helen’s little spy and shaping the future in Arrakis. However, her main reason to be here was to be with her husband, Feyd-Rautha. She was aware of the obvious fact that Fremens hated Harkonnens and if they found out that Y/N was married to one and carrying his child… she didn’t want to think of that. She had to get out of here but she knew that alone in the desert, she didn’t stand a chance.
Y/N got up as she finished her bread and left the small room, she didn’t have any footwear but the coldness of the ground calmed her senses. Outside of the room she was kept, there was a larger space, there were holes on the walls for Fremens’ rooms to sleep, it must have been daylight because they were all inside and working. Some were training, some were sewing the warrior clothes that were damaged. They all looked at her up and down, their blue eyes screamed ‘’Stranger!’’
They were a society where their eyes talked more than their mouths. The entire Sietch was lit by glowglobs, there were few holes on the tops so sunlight coming through but thanks to the design the inside was perfectly colder than the hell outside. ‘’During the day we don’t go out, not just because of the heat, we don’t want to be seen by the enemy.’’ The woman was explaining as she walked and Y/N was following her like a toddler. She immediately knew who the enemy was, her husband and his family. ‘’At night we go out, we hunt, we attack.’’ She stopped and turned to her, ‘’I’ll teach you how to sandwalk.’’
Y/N watched some videos on it, in order to be safe and not being detected by the giant worms one must learn how to sandwalk, it was like a dance, a dance to Shai-Hulud one might argue. ‘’We learn when we’re only a child.’’ She continued explaining few stuff about her culture and the way of life here. ‘’I am taking you to our Naib. Stilgar.’’ Naib ment ‘’leader of sietch’’ she had to be cunning and manipulative as her sisters. Y/N’s hand went to her stomach and she started to pray silently; Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration…
Feyd-Rautha Harkonenn unlike his older brother Glossu ‘’Beast’’ Rabban he hadalready figured it out that the best time to explore and attack was at night. During the day the desert was a killing machine, because of Rabban they had lost so many useful men. During the day Feyd and his men had made plans on the map of the desert, his first plan was to go to the abandoned cargo ship and deduce himself, maybe he could see something that his men couldn’t and try to find the nearby Sietches, the problem was that these Sietches were hidden so carefully that one couldn’t see but had to know the secret ways to enter. The ones they had found were empty and the rumors had reached his ears, all of the Fremen tribes were getting together to attack him. He had to stop them before it happened and also he had to find his wife. His priorities were shifting and the hologram message he got from his uncle earlier today wasn’t to his liking. Baron Vladimir Harkonnen was furious, he was demanding Y/N’s head. Of course he didn’t say to Feyd that she was pregnant, if Feyd knew he wouldn’t touch her but Baron wanted her dead. He figured they could find another highborn wench for his dear nephew and they could have as many male offspring as they wished. His words ringing in Feyd’s ears; ‘’She put our family name in disgrace. If you don’t take care of her your brother will.’’
Feyd’s blood boiled as soon as he heard that sentence, his throat went dry. He remembered the night of Rabban’s disrespect towards her, Feyd knew what kind of a monster his brother was. Rabban was going to rape her first and then torture her and then kill her. Feyd punched the bathroom mirror, he would burn his entire household to the ground before he let that happen. He looked at his reflection through the broken glass, distorted just like him, she was the opposite of him. She was kind, gentle and he would kill every man on this galaxy to see her and hold her in his strong arms one last time.
As the night came with shiny starts with the moons visible on the night sky, Feyd and his soldiers mounted the ships and left the palace. Their first stop was the cargo ship which was raided by the Fremen and left to rot. ‘’Na- Baron, we have searched the entire ship and only found Lady Na-Baroness’ headscarf as you know. There is nothing here.’’ His old advisor said in a neutral tone, standing behind Feyd who had entered the ship through broken metal lids, as soon as he entered his strong animalistic senses could pick up her pheromones, just like he did with the headscarf his men brought to him but he noticed something strange. Her pheromones were more sweeter than usual, more lively.. He wondered why he was picking that scent but didn’t dwell on it. The ship was just an empty metal box, the Fremen had taken every cable every electrical device they could.
Their next stop nearby rocks and mountains, the search continued till the first light, Feyd was growing restless, he was determined to bring her back but the first day of rescue failed miserably and his rage had met three of his servants, he put their heads on spikes for everyone to see, he announced before he entered the through the palace’s gigantic stone doors, ‘’The person who finds Lady Na-Baroness will earn enough spice to make him the emperor of this galaxy!’’ he yelled to his army who were standing immobile in the sand garden of the palace, there were only few palm trees and just orange sand. His arm saluted in the Harkonen way and screamed his name;
‘’Feyd-Rautha!’’
‘’Feyd-Rautha!’’
‘’Feyd-Rautha!’’
It had been few weeks since she arrived, the woman who captured her became her friend, Sama was a fierce warrior and also a caring person. She was giving Y/N extra food since she was pregnant. Sama had told her that the reason why she wasn’t was because that Stilgar knew she would be helpful and he was right, Y/N was healing the warriors, helping the old Reverend Mother, making healing potions and teaching it to the young Sayyadinas. She had quickly figured it out that there were no such thing as useless Fremen, the useless ones were killed, they grew up in this hard conditions and trained themselves to be selfless and be at service all the time. When she was free she was wandering in this enormous Sietch and try to eavesdrop. She was quick to learn a new language so she started to understand their daily conversations and yesterday her heart filled with hope because she heard Sama and Stilgar talking about the ‘’Harkonnens’’
Stilgar had said ‘’That boy is looking for someone, do you think it is a coincidence that we found her in the middle of the desert? Wake up Sama!’’ Stilgar had put the pieces together but apparently Sama was in denial, maybe she didn’t want to believe that her new friend was a Harkonnen’s wife…
Every night she was praying to meet him again, see him and melt into his arms. Y/N felt the ring on her finger, it was the wedding ring Feyd had given her, it belonged to her mother.. she had so many questions. Did he really killed his own mother? If he did then what was she suppose to do? She knew that nothing will be answered till she sees him in flesh and blood.
‘’Sayyadina?!’’ someone called her name, she turned to face the owner of the voice, ‘’Reverend Mother has asked your presence in her private chambers.’’ She bowed her head and followed the man, Fremen men were mostly dark skinned and dark haired, they were very muscular and always alert. The curtain was drawn, she cleared her throat and entered, the dim lights gave the room a mysterious look, there were books at every corner, potions and religious artifacts. ‘’Reverend Mother.’’ She bowed, the old woman was sitting on the ground, her entire body covered, only her face could be seen, she motioned with her hand for Y/N to come closer and she did, she sat in front of the old woman.
She was in spice trance, it was evident in her blown eyes and the smell of the spice, she held Y/N’s hand, the grip tenacious. ‘’I see you, all the time..’’ she began, her voice hoarse, ‘’he is looking for his wife… a treachery on his part.’’
Y/N was aware of the fact that too much spice consumption gave one prophecies, ‘’Soon, soon..’’ the old woman started to scream, ‘’Soon! Soon!’’ other Sayaddinas marched in and helped Y/N, the old woman’s grip left a red mark on her wrist.

Chapter Eleven
The travel was smooth, she sat on the empty room, did her meditations, calculated the outcomes etc. After what seemed like a day the ship arrived on the planet of Arrakis, how she longed to see Feyd… however the ship as coming closer to the palace was hijacked by what she assumed Fremen soldiers. With a heavy thud it landed on the desert. She bolted to her feet, getting ready to fight, she could hear conversations in different language outside the ship, two men and women were speaking, they sounded content, another mission done. Soon the hatch was opened by them and Y/N was seen in the empty space, the Fremen were alerted and raised their weapons, Y/N charged one of them and took him down, however the woman of the group got a hold of her by her scarf and dragged her down, her face was revealed. ‘’Let go of-‘’ she was about to use the voice but the woman covered her mouth quickly, her blue eyes due to spice consumption grew larger when she realized that Y/N could use the voice. ‘’Sayyadina.’’ she called her, and then turned to her comrades, they repeated the same thing, ‘’Sayyadina..’’
Y/N didn’t understand the word and its meaning but she calculated that she might survive this, ‘’You are coming with us.’’ The woman said looking into her eyes and hit Y/N’s head, she blacked out.
Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen woke up in his empty bed, the temperature inside the palace was to his liking, his window covers were opened and let the Arrakis’s morning sun in. He slowly sat on his bed, his bare feet touching the cool surface, he sighed, he had a lot of duties to do today, per usual. As he got to his feet his door was knocked, he immediately deduced that something was off by the person’s knock but he pressed the button on his night table to let the person in. It was his most trusted advisor, ‘’Morning Na-Baron.’’ He greeted and bowed but there was haste in his voice, ‘’What is it now?’’ Feyd said annoyed as he walked to the table near the large window to get a glass of water, the man waited for him to drink his water first to deliver the news.
‘’Lady Na-Baroness,’’ he began and immediately caught his attention, ‘’What happened to my wife?!’’ his voice was stern, the hand he was holding the glass got tighter, ‘’We have news from Giedi Prime, our Na-Baroness.. has escaped the planet… by a cargo ship.’’
Feyd stood there, he knew the purpose of the cargo ships, she was coming here… ‘’Search every cargo ship that has landed on Arrakis.’’ He found himself getting hopeful, she did something he couldn’t do, she brought herself here.
‘’Na-Baron, we have searched…’’ he began, the advisor tried to keep his calm, ‘’And?’’ Feyd asked, feeling something that was out of place.
‘’She wasn’t in the ships, we believe she was kidnapped. One of the ships didn’t return, we cannot reach the pilot and workers inside.’’
Feyd, with primal rage threw the glass to the near windows, it shattered to the ground, their cargo ships usually get stolen or destroyed by the Fremen. She must have been taken by them or… he didn’t want to think further.
‘’How could you let this happen?!’’ he yelled at the advisor, ‘’Our men are searching the entire desert to find the ship.’’ The advisor began, ‘’Gather the council. Immediately.’’ He said and watched the advisor basically run out of the room.
Feyd, in hurry, got ready and marched to the briefing chambers of the palace. On his way no one dared to look at his direction for they heard the news and he was a ticking bomb. The wooden doors were opened for him and he walked in. He had his advisors, commanders in the room, all stood up from the circler table that had the map and coordinates, they bowed their bald heads to greet him.
‘’Where is my wife?!’’ he roared, his voice echoed in the room, one of the braves spoke, ‘’We have located the empty cargo ship, there was a sign of struggle,’’ the man projected the pictures that were taken, ‘’the Captain of the ship and crew were found dead.’’ Everyone could see the dead, Feyd could feel his blood boiling with anger and there was something he couldn’t place, his heart ached with a heavy feeling, he didn’t bring himself to ask if she was dead or not, he didn’t even want to think of that possibility.
‘’Any traces of my wife?’’ he asked with a raspy baritone, the man who explained the situation was much older than him, clearly he was trying to control things but Feyd was like a double edged sword. ‘’We have found a headscarf,’’ he moved his head to one of his team members to bring the material, it was given to Feyd and he smelled the headscarf, when Y/N’s pheromones it his nostrils he closed his eyes with relief, ‘’It’s hers.’’ He replied shortly. The old man was relieved, ‘’Na-Baroness must have left it there on purpose.’’ The old man added, Feyd could see that his men were somewhat hopeful, was it because they were afraid of their Na-Baron or their Na-Baroness gained their affection due to her kindness. He didn’t dwell on it, ‘’I will lead the search team.’’ Feyd said, ‘’And I will join you. Postpone all of the duties until my wife has been found.’’ And he left the room, the headscarf in his palm, his knuckles turning pale.
Thank you for reading. :)

Chapter Ten ‘’Escaping the Baron’’
The preparations were made for Feyd to leave Giedi Prime to Arrakis. Everything happened so fast after that blissful night with his wife…
His things were packed without his command, his soldiers, advisors and servants were leaving the planet to make sure once Feyd leaves his home planet he can be greeted in a suitable way. He found himself outside of the fortress, in the courtyard, His uncle was in his floating device, his wife was standing close to his uncle in a black dress, he knew why she wore that velvet black dress, she was mourning his leave and it frustrated him. He came up with plans to take her with him but that would draw too much unwanted attention. The second he shows affection to Y/N and she would be in grave danger. Her face was covered with a black veil, she was standing straight, hands clasped.
‘’Finish the job your brother started.’’ Baron spoke, his voice echoing in the courtyard by speakers he installed into his floating device, ‘’Kill every Fremen if needed be.’’ He tilted his device to give a dominant kiss to his nephew, it was their custom and Feyd hated every second of it. When he bid farewell to his uncle he turned to his wife, he had to be extra careful. He approached with his stoic expression, lifted her veil with both of his hands and there she was with shiny eyes and frustrated look.
‘’Farewell, Wife.’’ He said, his voice was colder than ice, it cut her deep but she knew why.
‘’Farewell, Husband.’’ Thanks to her Bene Gesserit training she was good at acting. ‘’I hope to meet my first born when I come back.’’ He said it so that his uncle could hear that the only thing Feyd cares is having a strong lineage. With his peripheral vision he could see the smirk on the Baron’s extremely pale face.
Feyd turned and bowed to his uncle for the last time and turned to the ship which was waiting for him. He left his heart and hopes behind.
The following days for Y/N was harder than expected, every morning Baron’s private doctor came to check if she was pregnant or not, thankfully Feyd mentioned about this before, the reason why the doctor didn’t come after their wedding was that Feyd postponed it for her, how thoughtful he was…
She portrayed a perfect persona to the Baron and his spies, she was sending messages to her family and her Bene Gesserit friends, especially the Reverend Mother. She knew that her messages were being read so in every message she mentioned how much she appreciates the Harkonnens and especially the Baron’s kind gestures. However, someone like Reverend Mother and Jessica could read between the lines, Bene Gesserit developed a method to hide secrets between the lines. Baron thought she was just a silly little girl who is missing her family and friends and that’s why she was sending letters every day, the truth was that she was writing reports of what happens to her and her surroundings every single day. Feyd told her to wait for his message and she was waiting day and night. A week after Feyd’s departure Rabban came back to Giedi Prime. He was more sour than usual since he couldn’t control Arrakis and the spice production. Baron greeted him coldly and looked at him as if he stepped on a cockroach, she could see Rabban’s pale blue eyes landing on her, he was a simple man so it was easy to read him. He wasn’t going to do anything just yet, he was planning something.. at this point it was anyone’s game.
When she learned that she was pregnant with Feyd’s child she was sitting by the couch in her living room, her maids standing behind her, the doctor smiling wickedly, she knew as soon as the doctor leaves he was going to run to the Baron to deliver the news, ‘’Since you are from Bene Gesserit it is best for her ladyship to make the baby’s gender boy. House Harkonnen would be pleased.’’ He was basically saying that she had no choice but to give birth to a son. Thankfully she still had some time to change the baby’s gender in her womb. It had been the 5th week of Feyd’s departure and still he didn’t send any letters or messages to her, she was getting worried, ‘’Any news of my husband?’’ she asked the doctor hoping that he might know something. The doctor was packing his things, she noticed the slight shake in his hands, he didn’t turn to her, ‘’Unfortunately I do not possess any knowledge of our Na-Baron.’’ He explained without addressing her sitting figure, ‘’Thank you doctor.’’ She said kindly and watched him leave her chambers. She bolted to her feet when he left, she turned to her trusted girls, ‘’I have a feeling that my husband has been sending letters to me and someone is hiding them from me,’’ she began she was pacing in the room in her satin gold dress, her bouncy hair was falling from her shoulders. ‘’My lady.’’ The old maid she brought with her spoke, ‘’If your worries are true, we are here to help you.’’ They all bowed to her, she felt the overwhelming emotions of gratitude and hope washing over her like the waves in Caladan.
Ever since she learned she was pregnant she was debating whether or not she should sent a letter informing him about the pregnancy.
Baron wasn’t the only one who had spies, Y/N trained her small group of maids the ways of learning information and unraveling the secrets, after few days one of her maids came to her and told her that Feyd-Rautha’s letters were directly going to the Baron’s room and the maid could snatch one of the them which was sent to Y/N. Y/N gracefully thanked the young girl and dismissed her, later she immediately opened the crystal tablet which consisted of Feyd-Rautha’s handwriting.
‘’My dear wife,
My days in Arrakis have been occupied with never ending strategies, spice production and making sure Fremen rebels are under control. I have a hectic schedule and yet here I am thinking of you and your well-being every second. This is the 5th letter I am writing to you and I do not know why you don’t have time to write me back but thankfully my people keep informing me of your state. You are healthy, and thriving with your maids surrounding you. It seems like I will be here for a year, cleaning Rabban’s mess.
Please write to me as soon as possible.
Yours faithfully, your husband Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen.’’
Tears covered her eyes, if this was the 5th then he must have been writing to her every week and waiting for an answer… ‘’Damn you Baron!’’ she cursed under her breath, she lit the fire place and destroyed the letter, she had to. She couldn’t afford someone finding it. She knew very well that if she wrote a letter it won’t reach to him so she had to come up with a plan. Thankfully she had excuse, Irulan was inviting her to spend some time with her, she left her chambers and marched to the Baron’s.
He was playing chess with the doctor when his guards let her in. This was the first time she saw his living room, it was covered in spice carpets and pillows, it was colorful than she had anticipated.
‘’My Baron.’’ She bowed, waiting for his raspy reply, ‘’Lady Y/N, it is lovely to see you here. Oh, forgive me, congratulations. I cannot wait to see Feyd’s first born son.’’ It was a threat, if she gave birth to a girl then her life would be in danger. She unconsciously placed her hand on her stomach, ‘’Have no worries Baron, I am eager to give birth to strong sons.’’ She had to play to his ego and he seemed pleased. ‘’Please, sit.’’ He gestured near a chair and she sat. ‘’Do tell Lady Y/N, what brought you to my chambers.’’ She noticed how focused the doctor was, listening to them. ‘’Princess Irulan has sent me a letter, inviting me to her domain.’’ Baron pretended like he had no idea, ‘’Oh, what a generous invitation.’’ He commented. ‘’I would love to visit her and my family before my pregnancy hinders me from any activities.’’ She sounded calm, if she showed too much interest then Baron would suspect something.
‘’I’m afraid I cannot allow that.’’
Her ears were ringing.
She used a Bene Gesserit technique to calm her nerves. ‘’May I ask why?’’
Baron’s eyes were glued to the chess table, trying to beat the doctor, ‘’Since your husband isn’t here I am responsible for you and my nephew’s offspring. If something were to happen to you, how would I answer to my dear Feyd?’’
She stood up gracefully, ‘’I understand. Thank you for your time.’’ To that Baron only nodded and continued his chess game. As she was leaving she promised to herself that one way or another she was going to escape.
Her feet took her outside and to the courtyard and to the green house Feyd had built it for her, it was the most kindest gesture anyone has made for her.. full of her favorite flowers and plants. As soon as she walked in she slammed the door and noticed that she was breathing inside. That place was her haven and only place she could breath in this hostile planet. How she wished to be in Arrakis, in the middle of the desert instead of being in the hands of Baron. She sat on one of the wooden benches, closed her eyes and took deep breaths in and out and she was calm again. She remembered that night when Feyd brought her here.. it was magical. ‘’We still have a chance.’’ She said and when she opened her eyes she had a scheme to get out of here.
Every Friday cargoes from Arrakis would come and bring spice to Giedi Prime, Baron was directly stealing from the Emperor. The cargo ships would come at night and after the guards collect the boxes filled with the spice they would leave again. This transaction only took 15 minutes, they were fast and well coordinated so she had to be quick. She only had three days, all night she studied the cargo ship’s design and the palace which the Harkonnes had built in Arrakis 80 plus years ago.
Arrakis was a complete strange place, she grew up in planets which had forests, ocean, flowers and plants but Arrakis only had the desert, huge rocks for Sieches and the Harkonnen palace. The Fremens had their own language, had their own style of fashion… she had limited amount of time to learn as much as she could.
She spent her day time as usual, not attracting any eyes, she had breakfast, wandered in the fortress, had conversations with servants, politicians. She was going to leave alone, she didn’t dare to put her maids in danger.
On Friday an invitation came from Baron, he would like to dine with her in the evening, she couldn’t refuse but she also didn’t want to delay her departure any longer. She came up with a plan, thanks to her Bene Gesserit programming she could predict the outcome of every plan and situation. She rubbed her stomach in a loving way, ‘’We are Atreides, we survive.’’ She whispered to her baby, her trainings made her be aware of everything and sense everything, she could feel her baby, it was a warm feeling.
In the evening she was dressed by her maids, as usual. Her dress was black, it was the color of Harkonnens, her dress was modest with long sleeves, she was escorted to one of the small dining halls, the great fortress had multiple dining halls, ball rooms etc. As the black metal doors opened she saw the Baron, in his chair, at the head of the table which held various types of dishes. He was an extravagant man when it came to food. ‘’Lady Y/N, excuse me I cannot stand. Please do be seated.’’ His raspy voice sent waves of negativity to her but she had to endure. ‘’Thank you Baron.’’ She replied and sat close to him, ‘’No other guests Baron?’’ she asked intrigued, she thought the table would be crowded. ‘’I don’t have the mental state to deal with guests.’’ He started eating and she looked at her plate, it smelled delicious, ‘’You must eat Lady Y/N for you are with child.’’
‘’Yes Baron.’’ And she began eating, the room had white glowglobes, she preferred yellow or orange lights, the fire place was lit, lately it was cold. ‘’I must add,’’ he began, his pale blue eyes were on food he was eating and the food he wanted to eat… it was disgusting. She lifted her head to address him, ‘’my nephew has been sending me letters of his well-being and the state he is in. Arrakis is under our control, thankfully.’’ He was a jerk, he was implying that Feyd was sending him letters and not her but it wasn’t true, Baron was keeping the letters he had sent for his wife. ‘’Oh,’’ she began, pretending like she had no idea, ‘’I do sincerely hope that my husband is healthy and is taken care of.’’ She made her voice sorrowful, just like Baron expected it… a dumb girl who fell in love with his nephew.
‘’He is very well and he has great company by his side.’’ She immediately understood his intention, he was hinting that Feyd had women warming his bed, she felt her stomach turn but didn’t flinch. They kept eating, she listened to his Harkonnen family stories, she was good at detecting which information he was keeping a secret or altering but his next words were something she didn’t expect it.
‘’After all… Feyd was the one who murdered his dear mother Emmi Rabban.’’
Her mind went to the day she had discovered the old book of Harkonnen lineage.
Emmi Rabban; Matricide
Baron chuckled in satisfaction when he saw her face fell, ‘’Would you like to know why dear Na-Baroness?’’ he was daring tonight, she blinked few times but composed herself, ‘’Maybe I will tell you one day.’’ He laughed hard this time, she couldn’t sit there anymore, her stomach was turning and she was about to throw up. ‘’Excuse me Baron, I would like to retire to my chambers.’’ She bolted to her feet, he laughed again and licked his thick fingers, ‘’You may Na-Baroness. Sleep tight.’’
Y/N didn’t remember how she left that dining hall but on her way to her chambers she stopped to throw up, the guards who saw her came for help but she stopped them with the rise of her hand, ‘’I’m fine, go back to your duties and find someone to clean this mess.’’ She said and she quickly went back to her chambers, she didn’t have much time if she wanted to leave right now. She quickly changed into pants and tunic, tied up her hair and got a small bag with her which she prepared, the fortress was silent just like every other night. She choose the desolated halls of the fortress to be safe. Her heart eas beating in her throat and ears, she remembered the night she tried to escape Feyd and he pulled a great game, it was her time now.
The cargo ships were landing outside of the fortress but near it for carrying them inside, she walked in the shadows of the garden, if one could call it a garden… it was just an open space with pale white marble floors. Outside smelled like a factory pipe, they have destroyed the nature of the planet, only few small forests remained in this huge landscape.
A cold breeze touched her body and made her shiver, she held her headscarf and continued walking, everywhere had guards but it was shift changing hour so she had few minutes to climb over the black walls, she climbed the small tree which was planted in a marble pot, later she lifted her left leg and pushed herself on top, she was sitting on the wall now, she had to jump and roll. She took a deep breath, rubbed her stomach, she might lose her baby after this jump but she had to. From her trusted resources she had found out that Baron’s plan was to toss her aside as soon as she gives birth. Y/N took a deep breath and as she predicted she rolled on the stone floor to make the impact softer than normal. Her ankle was hurt when she stood up, she had to keep her mouth shut, she wanted to scream but didn’t dare. She was limping, she knew she had few scratches but she kept going. She could see the cargo ships landing, soldiers walking to collect the harvest, she was hiding behind a metal box, watching soldiers and memorizing their movements, they were like robots, same faces, uniforms and movements. She easily moved behind the shadows and when the boxes of spice were taken and the cargo ships were empty she had few seconds to get in before the hatch closed off. She looked around, soldiers were occupied with the boxes, no one paid mind to the empty cargo ships and she did her move. She made sure her head, hair was covered, one could only see her deep eyes.
As she sneaked into the empty ship she came face to face with a bald headed and bulky soldier, they both froze and her training paid off. Before the solider could alert the others she used the voice on him.
‘’You didn’t see me.’’ She looked at the box he had, ‘’You only came here to get the boxes out and your job is finished, this conversation never happened.’’
He looked like was in trans, he carried the box outside and never looked back and the hatch of the ship closed.

Chapter 2
Chapter One – ‘’Meeting in flesh and blood’’
‘’Right behind you!’’ Irulan screamed as she was riding her horse to match Y/N’s. Y/N was a skilled rider, the wind in her long hair, she laughed at Irulan’s attempt of winning the race and focused on the finish line. Planet Kaitian which was the second Capital of the Corrino Empire had so many opportunities for Padishah Emperor Shaddam’s daughter Irulan and his beloved Y/N. The planet had forests, lakes and rivers so Y/N didn’t miss much of her home planet Caladan, she sometimes tossed and turned in her bed thinking of her family members but she was taken to Kaitain years ago. Irulan and Y/N were the same age and when Shaddam couldn’t have more children he asked Duke Leto Atreides to bring his first born daughter to be sisters with Irulan. Leto tried to find so many ways to refuse Padishah Emperor yet he was the ultimate power in the entire galaxy and Leto had no choice but to give his daughter Y/N. She was one years old when the arrangements were made. She could see her family at political events or celebrations, she had been in Caladan few times yet she felt stranger to the planet and she felt stranger to Kaitain as well. She has always wondered if, by any chance one day she would feel the sensation of ‘’being at home’’ nowhere and no one was her home. Maybe this was her fate.
When she finished the race her horse calmed down, Irulan followed behind. ‘’I swear you’re cheating and I am going to find out.’’ She was joking of course, Irulan and Y/N had a close relationship yet Y/N never forgot that she was a princess and there for needed to be treated more cautiously than the other lords and ladies of the galaxy. Together they hopped off of their horses, ‘’Walk with me.’’ Irulan’s voice was soft yet direct. Her short blonde hair got messy, hem of her white long dress covered in mud, she was carefree when she was with Y/N.
Y/N had the color of her house Atreides. Green. Her green dress felt so light, they were walking on the grass for few minutes in silence., Y/N knew that Irulan wanted to say something.
Palace’s gardens were evergreen, gardeners achieved perfection. Gardens smelled of flowers at any time of the year. Irulan stopped in her tracks, they turned to soak in the scenery before their eyes, the entire planet was under their feet. Servants’ chatters could be heard, no matter what they were never alone. ‘’Soon my father will throw a ball for me.’’ She looked distant, Padishah Emperor Shaddam never had parties without a solid reason, it must be political. Before Y/N could ask Irulan explained simply, ‘’I will meet the man I have to marry.’’ Y/N knew one day that she had to marry someone in order to protect the power they had over the galaxy but she never thought the date would come this quick. Y/N had already a lover, only Irulan knew because he was from a lower house. She had a childish hope that one day she would marry him.
Irulan laughed in sarcasm, ‘’How I wish to be you, sister!’’ it was obvious that Irulan dreaded the situation.
There were no arrangements for Y/N and she was free for a long time or so she thought.
‘’I trust in Emperor’s decision. He won’t wed you to someone unworthy.’’ She tried to encourage her dear friend but Irulan stood there like a stone. ‘’Let’s head back.’’ Y/N said. A hollow silence followed them to the dining hall. Emperor couldn’t attend because he was dealing with preparations of the ball. The white marble fire place was lit and orange colors danced in the room, the dining hall was adorned with lavish furniture and a long wooden table. The wood came from Giedi Prime, it was called Pilingitam.
Irulan seemed troubled, ‘’What’s on your mind sister?’’ Y/N asked. She was concerned for her, if she knew that she had to be concerned for herself…
She watched Irulan’s palm slithering on the Pilingitam table,’’ Majority of the houses will be at the ball,’’ she looked up to meet Y/N’s curious eyes, ‘’The Harkonnens will be too.’’ Y/N’s blood ran cold, she remembered the times where Emperor used to take them to Giedi Prime for political reasons. They had to sit and watch the games in the black and white arena. Gladiators killing each other…
She remembered a boy with pure blue eyes and full lips, ‘’I will fight there too when I’m old enogh.’’ He was sitting next to Y/N in his black outfit. He closed the tiny gap between him and Y/N, and he spoke quietly, ‘’Will you come and watch me?’’ he was speaking as if killing was a normal act. His knee touching Y/N’s, she remembered distinctly that the boy interlaced his little finger with hers. They were ten and yet Y/N could see Baron Vladimir’s influence on his poor nephew.
Y/N didn’t need to go back in her memories to detest the Harkonnens. Their families were in and out of war for centuries. Thankfully for a long time peace was kept. ‘’I will manage.’’ She insured Irulan with a genuine smile yet it wasn’t enough. Y/N brushed it off, after dinner she had mental training anyways.
Until the day of the ball she corresponded with her lover, Pyramus
He was a tall man with dark curls and jet black eyes. His beard always tickled her face.
She spent her days training and accompanying Irulan. Irulan grew restless as the they approached.
One by one the ships started to arrive, one could look up to the busy blue sky and see. Y/N’s family arrived early to see her and spend time with her. Lady Jessica, her mother, immediately questioned her about Y/N’s Bene Gesserit training, Duke Leto was happy to see her daughter once again. Paul, her one year younger brother gave her a tight hug.
They were united once more, she escorted them to their quarters in the palace and retrieved to get ready for the event. She wore a green dress with emeralds on her chest and waist, her maid braided her hair in Atreides style. She also wore an emerald tiara. Paul Atreides knocked on her door to escort her to the ball room, he looked sharp in his dark green suit. ‘’You seem nervous.’’ He questioned, -Y/N knew that her mother was teaching Bene Gesserit ways to her brother,- yes she was nervous because she was going to be reunited with her lover. ‘’Too many people.’’ She responded. Servants were running with food and wine on the corridors, music could be heard from a distance. Members of houses were having conversations about spice, politics, etc.
The doors of the room were open, inside was lit by the yellow warm lights coming from glowglobes, guests laughing and drinking. Tallest member was Baron Vladimir due to hanging in the air, eating like a mad man but she ignored him.
Her eyes searching for her lover, so blind to an outsider who got her under his radar.
Paul and Y/N walked to the table of their house, ‘’You look lovely my girl.’’ Duke Leto kissed her daughter’s forehead, it didn’t go unnoticed by a certain someone. He was a snake, silently slithering close to his prey.
Padishah Emperor Shaddam and his daughter Princess Irulan were announced and slowly entered the room, everyone bowed. They took their seats and Emperor greeted everyone, thanked them for coming to his feast and he also announced that he would choose the life partner of his daughter among his unmarried male guests. Duke Leto found himself watching his daughter with sad eyes, he wondered if he could see her wedding one day. Would she be happy and fortunate like him? Only time would tell but he prayed quietly.
It was time to dance, couples held each others’ hands and marched to the dance floor, Paul excused himself and went to ask the princess to dance with him. Leto happily asked Jessica to dance with him, Y/N wished that they were officially married but to keep his position as a powerful bachelor, other houses worked for him hoping that one day Duke Leto would marry one of their daughters. It was a well played game of chess on Atreides’s part. Y/N watched Irulan and Paul talking silently and dancing.
Soon Pyramus came with a huge smile. He kissed her hand and winked at her, ‘’My beautiful lady, would you be so kind and accompany me on the dance floor?’’ she tried so hard not to grin, ‘’Of course my lord.’’ He was in his house’s color, yellow. Hand in hand they mingled among the other couples, ‘’I’ve missed you.’’ He whispered. ‘’Not here.’’ She used the voice on him and his mouth closed in a second. Only their eyes talked.
They heard a rough cough and turned to face the intruder, Y/N had no idea that she would meet him in flesh and blood, ‘’Feyd…’’
