live Telemachus reaction
Lemme tell you I've been on an Epic the Musical brainrot since the Ithaca Saga dropped, it's absolutely stellar and captivating and congrats to Jorge for completing such a masterpiece and sharing it with us all over the years!!
I was inspired by the royals of Ithaca and our beautiful owl lady and wanted to attempt to capture any of their power and this is how I chose to do so (I didn't have much choice, the gremlin locked in my brain told me I had to do it šš)
Listening to Little Wolf on loop isnāt enough, I need Telamachus to fucking upercut me.
Whelp- guess I'm cleaning this up...by myself

Odysseus: No, you're cuter
Penelope: No, šŗš°š¶'š³š¦ cuter
Odysseus: No, š®š¤šŖ'š§š cuter
Telemachus: There are literally over 100 people dead in our house, guys.

Antonius: Only the ocean and I will know~
Poseidon: Oh Tartarus nah!
Poseidon: The ocean will snitch! The ocean will snitch so hard!
Poseidon: The ocean will be pulling up to your king with a clipboard, tell him to sit down, and explain in incredible detail everything that happened with bullet points.
Poseidon: The ocean will be showing a PowerPoint presentation of the event.
Athena is the member at family gatherings who is somehow the most responsible but will also help you throw down verbally or physically against anyone she sees as fit for punishment
goddess of wisdom, master of war
The way most kids would love this shows that sheās the best aunt
She's still getting used to being an aunt
Learning how to be a warrior was typically a fairly important part of an Ancient Greek princeās education. That would likely be the case in Ithaca too as we can see with Odysseus even as a boy. No untrained child would have been able to defeat Athenaās boar so he clearly was taught to fight. So why was Telemachus not given the same? Thereās perfectly able guards so it wouldnāt be from a lack of people to teach him.
Then I started thinking about how much more threatened by his presence the suitors would be if Telemachus could hold his own in combat. His mere existence is already a claim to the throne but they see him as unfit and too soft for the crown. They might not have waited so long to try to get rid of him if that perception didnāt hold. So Penelope might have intentionally withheld that part of his studies to make him seem less dangerous to the suitors.
No one would have thought twice about pushing around someone they knew could take it no matter their age, but the way that Telemachus says that theyāre āgettingā dangerous in āLegendaryā implies that itās a new development. Sure, they could just be tired of waiting (which certainly still plays a part) but fighting an untrained twenty year old sounds much better than fighting an untrained fourteen year old.
January - Telemachus throwing his staff on the ground and bursting into tears
February - Antinous slamming Odysseus with a stool
March - Telemachus lamenting that the gods have forsaken him while Athena, in disguise, is right beside him
April - Odysseus hiding under sheep and behind faeces while escaping the cyclops
May - Odysseus taunting the cyclops even while he throws giant boulders at him
June - Ctesippus throwing a cowās hoof at Odysseus
July - Nausicaa and her handmaidens washing clothes naked at the riverbank when they find Odysseus, also naked
August - Odysseus wanting to kill Eurylochus at Circeās island
September - Peisistratus becoming an āintimate friendā of Telemachus
October - Odysseus lying to a disguised Athena, which impresses and amuses her
November - the suitors making excuses for their bad archery, with Antinous blaming it on the fact that itās the day of Apolloās feast
December - Penelope getting the suitors to give her gifts, delighting Odysseus by her cunning
"Telephones didn't exist in Ancient Greece." What do you mean?? Odysseus literally had one.

This is absolutely the song Iām most exited about in the Ithaca saga, I will be weeping !!
Obviously this is all very inspired by the amazing @gigizetz , those epic animations are incredible!!
what do you mean this isn't what happened
Athena: deciding to go easy on Telemachus while theyāre sparring to brighten his spirits because heās getting bummed out from sucking at using a spear
Telemachus: actually doing pretty decent since Athena is fighting like she normally would
Zeus, sensing that someone is actually doing a good job at fighting Athena: THUNDER
Telemachus: āwhere did that thunder come from? Itās sunny.ā
Athena, who has thunder trauma: stabs out of defensive reflex
@mer-acle this is the poor explanation of what you inspired me to write
