was looking through my old rock collection and found something interesting
a complete and intact clam fossil that i had found in my backyard. i live in a completely landlocked state.
After over decade of rock collecting, here are some of my favourites!
If anyone knows what kind of rocks they are, I'd love to know!! I'm really interested in whatever shaped the rocks in the first picture (Piddocks maybe from a quick search), and the colouration of the last one!
Sometimes you just gotta enjoy a good rock!
Taking a moment to enjoy pretty rock
A new Crystal in my collection - velvet malachite from China
My entire crystal collection to this day I have one more on the way and after I get it I will definitely post pictures because it’s absolutely stunning
Botryoidal fluorite on quartz from India which looks like a fried egg one of my favorite pieces in my collection but also on of the pricier ones since fluorite rarely forms these “balls”and yes this is 100% natural not a carving
No more sad longing for cool rocks
my friend told me that her boyfriend got her a super cool rock while they were on vacation together and you would not BELIEVE my disappointment when i realized she was talking about her engagement ring
