The linking sigil is a sigil that was made back in about 2003 by a man named Arjil to break certain views of consensual reality, and to make the world a more magical place by connecting acts of magick together. This sigil was also used to assault the consensual reality of people who we’re not yet awakened, and was heavily used by the group DKMU. This symbol became famous between chaos magicians, and has become very powerful, and well-known in the magickal community.
The linking sigil is also called ellis, or the ellis sigil. Ellis is connected to all the other ellis sigils through a connection called the ellis web. This web allows the ellis sigil to call upon energies from other places where the ellis sigil was drawn, in order to empower your magickal workings with the energies that have been stored in the ellis web. The ellis web takes these energies in, and grows, evolves and becomes more powerful with each absorption of these particularly creative energies. The linking sigil can also be tagged in places in order for them to become more magickal, or haunted. Though it is said this can only be done in places that have at least a small affinity for magickal working, or to be haunted. The ellis sigil also has the power to awaken people to the magickal World, and to imprint upon them a reality that is more magickal, and weird. The symbol can be brought into your magickal practice to connect you with people that have used it in the past, and to put a little bit of your magick inside the ellis web. To do this the sigil can be added into any spell, sigil, or magickal practice that you will do to add a little bit more extra flavor into your working. All it has to do is be nearby in order to effect, and take in certain energies. Ellis has also been said to have over the course of time evolved into a thoughtform. This thoughtform is said to act like a guardian over the ellis web, and has been known not to take people’s shit. She is really more of a godform due to the fact of her higher power, and connection to multiple places, and people. Ellis is said to be a spider queen, and also the Red Queen from Alice in Wonderland. Ellis mostly appears to people as a red headed woman. She is said to represent aspects of child, lover, and crone. Ellis is powerful, and intelligent, and can be used, and worked with in a myriad of different ways.

Is blood magic inherently dark magic?
Nope, that’s just a common social bias.
The main thing about blood magic is to be safe about it, like don’t open main veins or arteries, bandaging the wound properly, keeping your situation as sterile as possible to avoid infection, and disinfect the wound after. That kind of thing.
There’s something about blood magic that makes things a lot more personal though, since you’re using the liquid life source that courses through your veins through magic. It definitely amps up the power for the spell as a result of the personal sacrifice, but it also makes your magic have a more specific signature to you as a person and a witch. That magic you perform with blood magic is then tied to you and can be traced back to you if you’re using it for spirit work, summoning, or if you’re casting a spell on another witch (if theyre a very skilled witch). Just be wary of that detail.
I don’t really know what people generally call this method of sigil making, so I’m just calling it “Letter Shaping” because you’re using the basic shapes from certain letters. EDIT: It’s one of many variations of the ‘Spare Method’ created by Austin Oswald Spare in the early 1900s This is the most common form of sigil making, and it allows the most creative influence. As you see above the sigils are for nearly the same thing, yet the sigils came out completely different. Not because the purpose was different, but because I approached them both a different creative way, and that’s what I like so much about this method. There’s a lot of freedom and personalization involved.

Load a Sigil
Meditating on the sigil. Focus on the sigil intensely. Chanting over the sigil. Burning candles around, or on the sigil. Rubbing blood upon the sigil(a small drop of your blood is enough)). Anointing the sigil with essential oils. Anointing of the sigil with sexual fluids. Spitting on the sigil. Putting the sigil in the sunlight, or moonlight. Having the sigil on your person while going through your day, keeping it with you so that it can feed off your energy. Heating up the sigil(burning the stealth). after loading your sigil, don't let anyone else see it (you can only see it yourself)

( Emoji Spells: Mobile Sigil Magick) Sigil magick is popular because it’s fairly simple and still creative. When creating a sigil from scratch you get to decide everything about what it means and how it looks. The difference with emoji is that you have to look at the entire spell as a sigil, rather than each individual character. You also have to concede some of the design, but for those without any artistic skill this could be a big bonus. Modern usage of the sigil is as a pictorial representation of the will or intent of your spell.The sigil represents the whole of the spell and drawing the sigil out, and then carving it on candles or burning it charges and activates your sigil. Sigils can also function like a visual affirmation when drawn on mirrors, windows, post its, on your leg in sharpie, the tag on your underpants, whatever!

I‘m gonna leave all the angsty Chaos stuff to the others and put my favourite girl Tori in a chaotic situation
This was literally the first thing that came to my head, when reading the prompt for the first time

NATG XIII - Day 5 Prompt: Draw a pony enjoying nature / Draw a pony finding harmony in chaos.
Here I took the latter prompt a bit literally - Auri Spectre somehow finds the Big Crown Thingy amidst a sea of chaos! What happens next? (The cat is from a drawing I had done some time ago, while the sky was inspired by the background used for the 2020 BFB animator auditions.)
Me whenever someone finds my blog and I sit there questioning whomst they are-

I'm going to contest that Fulgrim point. He *had* outlets to express himself freely. The thing Slaanesh exploited was his need for affirmation, his need to prove that he was the best (good enough). Slaanesh too that yearning and told him how he could, when he really just needed someone to tell him "You don't need to be the best. You *are* good enough". Also, no, he did not know the risks of falling to Slaanesh. The Emperor took quite a bit of care in making sure that nobody knew the risks.
I also want to add, it's not just the desperate who fall to chaos--its also the decadent. The billionaires (though they're probably more like trillionaires at this point) who have had things go their way their entire lives, who believe that they deserve whatever they want, and that they are above silly things such as the consequences of their own actions. (These ones tend to result in more dangerous chaos cults, too, since they have the resources to acquire things like forbidden artifacts and can force a lot more people to be sacrifices). This is, of course, still something central to the Imperium.
Chaos wins because the Imperium is fascist
It suppressed the basic human desires of the soul and gives people no time or opportunity to express making them yearn for creativity and freedom and self expression
It makes its people live miserable lives of eternal war, poverty, disease, horrible living conditions and servitude yearning for release, peace, painlessness and pleasure
It leaves its people no time to be human. To engage in art, sexuality, to express themselves, have peace, pleasure and happiness. So they yearn.
It’s oppression leaves them angry and vengeful. They yearn for revenge.
It suppresses and persecuted psychers for their natural abilities who yearn to be themselves
It bans, heavily regulates and persecuted exploration of knowledge, magic, technology and science. Anti intellectualism and thoughtless dogma are praised and revered. Anyone who thinks for themselves or learns is an enemy.
The chaos gods don’t represent these desires. These are healthy human desires that everyone should have a right to. The chaos gods feed on these desires and take advantage of the people desperate for them to trick them into servitude.
An oppressed angry man will seek out a blood god
A man in pain and suffering will seek out a god who will take the pain away and make life bearable in misery
A suppressed miserable man with a miserable dull life being told he has no other purpose then to feed the war machine and be a human meatcog will seek out a pleasure god who promises to enrich his life
A man stripped of creativity and innovation, in a world of eternal stagnation and anti intellectualism yearning for change and freedom will seek out a god of change
The lesson in warhammer isn’t that pleasure, anger, change and seeking relief are bad.
The lesson is that in a fascist system where these basic human desires are repressed and humans aren’t allowed to be human they will seek these things in anything they can, leaving room for exploiters to gain power.
The “imperium of man” is fully anti-human despite claiming to be humanity embodied. It’s citizens are living in abject misery, eternal war, stripped of their identity and self expression, suppressed, only exploited for their usefulness, bodies and labor - for the end of an ever expanding empire for its own sake. A vanity project. There is no actual benefit to humanity.
Chaos gods aren’t the representatives of “pleasure” and “anger” etc, they FEED off of the desire for these things. They feed off of angry, suffering, desperate people in pain.
If the people of the imperium were happy, chaos would be powerless, because people would be happy with their lives and their yearnings and desires wouldn’t feed them or give them a way in.
The more the imperium cracks down on its people and the more fascist it gets the more the people will yearn, feeding chaos while it grows stronger and stronger.
Warhammer is screaming in your face about how overpolicing and “peace and order thru suppression” doesn’t work and backfires, from Nostramo to the imperium itself.
If the imperium wanted to stop chaos it should stop being fascist and allow people to be human and engage in and embody their humanity and human desires in a healthy way, therefore the offers of chaos wouldn’t attract people.
The same goes for the primarchs. If Fulgrim felt like he had an outlet to be himself and express himself freely he wouldn’t have felt the need to submit to slaanesh. He knew the risks but his yearning for freedom was stroger. Same for angron.
It’s so funny seeing loyalists and imperium fans react to the rise of chaos with even more fascism and limiting human expression even more, decrying basic humanity such as sexuality and art as “slaaneshi” and therefore bad - as if this will do anything but drive people to slaanesh even more.
TL;DR: Fascism is bad and conservative ideology is a fundamentally anti human worldview and always fails. If you don’t allow people to be human in a healthy way they will find an unhealthy destructive way, but you can NEVER suppress basic human rights and desires for peace, freedom, pleasure, knowledge and justice.
A regime which fears the human soul, knowledge, freedom and individuality will never be free of chaos. An Emperor who doesn’t trust humanity and even his own children with themselves will never succeed.
If you fear that knowledge, freedom, self expression, rightful justice and prioritizing happiness and pleasure will turn people against you and ruin your “plans”, you might be the problem
