If we add in Shikamaru finding out all the shit Hiruzen DIDN'T do for Naruto and have him pop a full Boogeyman style shadow hell on him after, I am all for it. We all saw what happened to Hidan when he killed Asuma, so I would LOVE to see what Shikamaru does to to Mister "Leave an orphan to be ostracized by an entire village while making a child hunt for his own food and do his own taxes". PLEASE.
Give me more fics about how Shikamaru is, of course, extremely lazy and laid back like most Nara but he also falls prey to the other lesser known Nara habit of hyper-fixating and obsessing over one specific thing.
Nara are known for fixating on anything from shogi to sake to a specific person. A lot of Nara marriages are the result of those fixations.
