another stranger things take because i am not normal about this show:
THE DUFFERS HAVE BEEN SETTING UP BYLER SINCE S1.
everything, down to costumes and music, is carefully put together. it is ALL on purpose. all this evidence that we’ve been finding is there on purpose.
karen’s queer-coded talk to mike in s1? on purpose. mike’s constant closet imagery? on purpose. mike and will’s costuming correlating to each other especially in s4 with the green, blue, and yellow? on purpose. all of it is completely intentional.
in s5, we are going to get requited byler. i am sure of it.
i love reading all those st5 theories knowing damn well how wrong and delulu we all were before st4 but oh well. i guess im gonna be delulu again and noone can stop me

Okay so basically everyone is really upset over the Byler situation but honestly I’m not that mad. Like the fact that will changes all of the things that he does for Mike is extremely relatable for me because I do the same thing quite often. In the sense of the painting the fact that he was like I made it but El had the intention of giving it to you but in reality that’s not true is something that I can understand. Yes the gay friend is in love with the straight friend troupe is quite overuse at this point but I actually understand it because Will wants the best for Mike because he’s so in love with Mike all he wants is Mike to be happy. And I do the same thing Very often so in my book I’m not that upset over the Byler situation. What I’m upset at is the fact that they just won’t let it happen on the show like will coming to terms with the fact that “hey I’m gay” like they won’t let him say the fact that he is gay it has to sub text which subject is great but sometimes it doesn’t hurt to just say hey I’m gay and the coming out scene with Jonathan it was great but I wish at the end will could have been like OK yeah OK I like boys like hello Missed potential so much
