Summary: mori arrange a meeting with dazai to meet his 'special student' and his soon to be mentor plus friend?

Warning: mori itself is a warning (Pedophile/Grooming/ETC)

"AND THIS IS MY OFFICE-" Mori stood in the middle of the room and turned around, spreading his arms apart. A smile planted on his face as he then crossed his arm over his chest. "What do you think, Dazai?"

The boy in question, blink and point at himself. "Me?" He grown quiet and glance around for a second before coming into conclusion. "Well, it's better than mine, I guess..."

"Great...!" He nodded accepting dazai's answer. "Do you know why we are here, Dazai?"

"You mention that we gonna meeting 'precious' surbodinate of yours?" Dazai pursue his lips, "Thus that mean you want me to meet that person right?"

"As precise as ever, Dazai." He smile and turn around, looking at his office chair that is facing away to the wall. "You can come out now."

...

"Eh?" Mori blink and approach the chair, "[Nickname]?" He turn the chair around and see no one there. "[Nickname]!?" Mori started panicked looking around the room.

Lifting everything in the room in sight.

"[Name]!" He shouted, "Where are you?!"

Dazai who has been quietly watching thought, 'Is this a game?'

He nodded his head at his assumption and started walking around to search for the certain person as well. His eyes carefully look at every place.

'There is no a single trace of the person left behind, it's almost like the person never enter the room at all but...' He glance at the still frantic Mori looking around the place. 'That [Name] should be here. Right here, right now base of Mori reaction.'

Suddenly he went still from walking, his eye dilated and look up to the ceiling, "Found you."

A wide grin appear on [Name]'s face, "You found me."

He giggle excitedly and jump down from holding onto the candelier, "How exciting! Someone actually found me!" He clap his hand and put his hand on air, celebrating.

"[Nickname], here you are." Mori approach the boy hurriedly and let out a sigh, "Didn't I tell you to stay seated on the chair...? I was planning for you to have a strict appearance, you know."

[Name] stop celebrating and smiling before a pouted appear, "You are out way too long! I got bored."

"Ah, really..." He smile fondly.

"it's your fault Mr.Mori!"

"Ah, yes. You are right." He nodded to the boy word, going along. "It's my fault, sorry."

Dazai blink at the interaction happen infront of him, 'Mori being too nice right now. He even said it's his fault.' He glance at [Name].

'What's their relationship with each other?'

"Dazai," Upon hearing his name called, Dazai look back at Mori to see he one sidely hug [Name] by his side. "This is [Name] [Last Name], he will be your mentor from now on and help you get comfortable in the mafia."

"Mentor...?" Dazai uttered out, looking at [Name], " He literally look younger than me."

Mori laugh at that statement and while he do so, he stroke [Name]'s head.

Suprisingly [Name] not even mad at the word Dazai's said. "We actually the same age, Dazai!" He beamed with sparkle surrounding him as he jump up then down excitedly, "I never meet someone the same age of me, they usually 20+ or 40+ older than me!"

"How exciting!" He clapped his hand happily.

"[Name] here having a malnourished problem, that is why he look younger and smaller than what his age actually is." Mori explain once he stop laughing.

"Oh." Dazai look at the still laughing [Name], '...That is why he sound annoying, we are the same age.'

"Hello~!" He waved his hand excitedly, "Ah, Aso how's your son doing at home?!"

Dazai is quietly following behind [Name], who is walking and skipping on his step while greeting everyone in his line of sight.

"Doing great! By the way, my wife and I are excited about a twin soon!"

[Name] gasped and squealed, "Oh my god, congrats! Name them after me, will you?!"

"Of course, that's the plan!" The guy laughs happily and strokes [Name]'s head.

[Name] leans into the palm that strokes his head, humming, "I was kidding but thank you, I'm honored!"

After a bit more of chitchat, Dazai and [Name] continue their journey walking to somewhere.

"The ants marched one by one, hora hooray~"

"...." Dazai stared at [Name] continuously behind his back and did not even bother to hide it.

"My student~!" He turns his head over his shoulder to Dazai, "You should speak up instead of staring, you see, you almost make me flush, shy~!! With that stare, hehe~" He declared with a bright smile clasping his hands together.

Dazai scrunched his face in disgust.

[Name] continues acting like a shy maiden nevertheless as he sways his body side by side.

"That guy earlier."

[Name] stand straight with a smile, giving Dazai his full attention. "What about him?"

"You are absolutely an important person to the point even the physician and the port mafia boss right handman, Mori-san seems to show a lot of respect to you." Dazai started and took a step forward to [Name] who didn't give any reaction to his statement.

"Why are you being a puny dog to your subordinate? Even letting them use your name to name their child."

[Name] throws his head back and bursts out loud laughing at Dazai's words, "Oh Dazai," He wipes his tears, "You, will get in trouble saying much thing bluntly."

Even though he said that he shook his head fondly with an amused smile. "I don't have any answer to your question, I just love people. They make me happy, give me serotonin, and give me something to do when I interact with them."

He spins around and starts walking ahead again.

Dazai followed behind and spoke up again to [Name], "Because it's not boring when you have entertainment isn't it? You talk with them like you care about them, ask stories and such."

"How childish." He sneered.

"Bingo!" [Name] admits, not even trying to deny anything. "You really get me, Dazai, I like you!"

"Please don't."

[Name] giggles, "Aww, you say that but I will make you like me~" His eyes shine with an unknown glint as he says, "Anyway, any more questions?" He jumps and clap his hand.

Dazai closes his eyes and opens them back, "You, who are you?"

[Name] tilts his head and starts tapping his finger on his chin in thought, "Hm," An eerily smile curl on his lips.

"I am Doctor Mori's temporary assistant and The Port Mafia, son that soon to be the heir...!"

~ a little something about waking up next to Dazai, and he's unbearable as always ~

"I might just eat you alive..." He mumbles to himself, barely audible. His eyes are half-lidded, and he's barely blinked.

He's been watching you sleep next to him curled up like a kitten for the past hour, way past the time you usually wake up. He's the oversleeper, not you, and it makes him hyper aware of your bodily functions and if they're okay. He hasn't eaten properly in days, but you don't need to know that. He's rabid, and he knows he's being a total freak right now, but who will worry for you if not for him? He must rise up to be the voice of reason, the watchful eye that keeps you on track even if he can barely keep himself alive! He wishes you'd stay forever, where he could avoid his problems and take care of your every single need. He should be everything you need... He hopes. Then you'd never leave, and he would make sure to eat more, just for you. How perfect... selfish.

God, he just wants to crawl inside of you and make you his home, it's almost pathetic. You'd find him vile for the things he would do for you and your happiness, despite you already being so accepting of his dark past... You're simply heaven sent. He takes a deep breath, and lightly runs his knuckles down your jawline, as if carving them out of the precious material that you're made of. You begin to stir, and his pupils dilate instantly as he pulls back with anticipation.

"Mmm... Osamu..."

You murmur sleepily as your chest rises up and down ever so slowly. He's freaking out. It's bad for his health to hear the way you say his name as if it were a healing oath, a spell that only works on him.

"Wakey wakey~"

Dazai's propping himself up on one elbow, a calculating smile plastered on his lips as if he were in on something you weren't. You pop open one eye, and groan softly.

"You're up... early"

"Yes!"

"Why..." You yawn like the silly little thing you are. He gasps in mock offense, clutching his chest.

"Can't a fortunate guy like ME just be happy that we both live to see another beautiful day?!"

He winks, and boops the tip of your nose, this gets a muffled snort out of you that causes you to bury your face into the pillow. He's addicted to the rush of causing any joy in your life, it's disgusting. When you don't lift your face back up, he scrunches up his face, and reaches out to stroke a strand of your silky hair, but his intrusive thoughts win and he tugs on it as payback for possibly falling asleep again. He needs your attention, and you're sleeping? Insanity. You swat at him, blindly smacking his arm away.

Oh, how he loves that you're the only person who truly sees him past his myriad of theatrics.

"Oh my... a slap from you feels wonderful!"

He rubs his arm, and grabs the hand that swatted him, bringing it up to kiss the pulse point on your wrist. Feather like kisses, almost undetectable... until you lift your face up from the pillow, finally.

He gazes at you as he rubs his face onto your hand like a cat greeting its owner, purring as if he were starved for affection. For a moment, his gaze becomes more serious, detached, as if he were thrown back into a distant memory. He can't describe the feeling, but the way your hand feels against his cheek is a warmth he hasn't felt in ages. His eyes sting, and he blinks the wetness away before you can notice as he hears your angelic voice again. He's back to his usual self.

"Osamu... You're being annoying"

"You think I'm just annoying?~"

His voice comes out in a tender whisper, his mouth curled up into a mischievous grin. He's insufferable. He could be anything for you if you wanted it. Especially annoying! He almost drools when you roll your eyes affectionately at him, the coldness in his heart disappears as he leans in just a little, invading your personal space as always, eager to hear your reply.

"Amongst other things, yes..."

You flash him a sweet little smile, and it mends all that is wrong in the world. The pink in your cheeks is starting to turn red, and it sends him to the moon. He hums, slowly nuzzling himself into the crook of your neck, it's his turn to curl up. You run your fingers through his messy hair that tickles you, feeling the warmth of Dazai's breaths against the back of your ear.

"Hmm, do I look like a pillow to you?"

He can hear the smile in your murmur, and he pulls back from your neck briefly, peering at you through his messy bangs, those intense hazelnut eyes demanding your attention, and his voice drips with an aching devotion that oozes like honey. he moves his lips to your ear, and whispers.

".. You look like an angel to me."

He watches you self destruct at his painfully smooth delivery of a compliment, and secretly rewards himself for once again giving you another reason to never leave. He's got it all!

Romance, self deprecating humor, an inability to properly process his emotions and grief, but more importantly, an undying commitment to stay alive against all odds so that he may see another day of you in his arms... or you helping him change his bandages... or-

He's cut short by you grabbing the sides of his face and pulling him into the most sinfully delicious kiss known to man, and he could swear that despite all his efforts, this might be what ACTUALLY kills him.

Sorry not sorry. But some people need to read this.

Tw: when I am employing the word « delusional » I am not referring to the medical definition of it.

What I am going to be saying is going to be disliked by some. But I don’t care.

I am going to be talking right now about a phenomenon that I’ve been seeing ever since I started reading mangas and watching animes and it has always bothered me.

And guess what ? I am not the only one being bothered by that, which reassures me.

The problem is the following:

Each time there’s a genuine friendship between two male characters or even two females in a manga/anime, people dirty it by gluing on it, their own fantasies and making it somewhat romantic/sexual, by inventing a « sexual tension » between these protagonists.

Always happens in the anime/manga universe.

…and I am going to tell you why it’s a problem/bothersome situation for many :

The problem is that it renders the story less deep and genuine and more people are influenced in thinking that, a male character, by being nice to another male (same for females), is romantic or whatever.

Like some of y’all are sexualising everything. Get it together.

This is, most of the time (actually 99% of the time but okay), LITTERALY delusion because the authors have never, ever meant for their characters to be viewed as anything but genuine friends/acquaintances..

It distorts the story for nothing and, in my opinion, it is disrespectful to the creators of the manga, to just take their characters and create a quiproquo on it. Sorry not sorry to say it.

As an example, let me take the « Dazai x Chuuya » fans.

The readers go as far as totally disregarding the fact that, Dazai, since literally the first episode, has implied that he was not attracted to guys. On top of that, he’s kinda depicted as the guy who likes women (/is low-key a womaniser). Never, ever was there anything that would make him attracted to Chuuya as a male.

(It also happens for JJK and others… )

Therefore, you’re disregarding the genuine and complex aspects of a potential friendship and understanding between the characters, to glue on it what you would have wished it to be : a romantic or sexual attraction. It’s a projection of what YOU would have WANTED it to be.

Simple example for BSD: Asagiri himself has said that there is nothing between Chuuya and Dazai, that they really don’t appreciate each other.

Now for all those who think that they like each other: it’s fine but that means that there’s something you´ve misunderstood in the story. Go back to it and try to analyse better the interactions and contexts. It’s fine really cuz, it could happen to anyone to misunderstand something, I am not criticising. Just signaling a risk.

It is actually immoral to distort a character’s sexuality like what ?! It becomes a habit and people do it also for celebrities. It’s kinda going too far.

It’s not for you to decide.

When it’s « not a big deal » for some, it could actually represent a big deal for many. And make many people uncomfortable.

Respectfully :

You wanna do your fanfics ? NO PROBLEM really ! be our guests ! but do it in the context of a fanfic, after putting on a disclaimer, as a respectful gesture for the creators of mangas !

(On the other hand, when people write « character x reader », it doesn’t distorts the original story cuz Y/N just doesn’t exist).

BUT rubbing it down our throats without any context as if it was a general truth provided by the creators, that « these characters are in love/sexually attracted to one another » NO. Keep it for yourself or your group of friends if y’all agree on it.

Again, many many people feel as uncomfortable as I, regarding this. It’s kinda also getting out of hand.

It’s getting out of hand especially when I see fandoms like the Black butler fandom where they imagine a « sexual tension » between Sebastian that is an adult and Ciel that is 13 !

Like it or not. I am not sorry for being respectful and realistic.

And I am encouraging everyone to talk and expose that, because this is not fine.

Some decency is needed :

Not everything is okay with what people are doing on the internet. You can have your « dirty thoughts » but don’t expose them, not everyone wishes to hear about it. Some things have to stay between you and yourself.

Kids/ teens :

And kids/teens (all those below 18) y’all need to get off your phones a little and go play outside or meet your friends (for teens ig) if you don’t wanna end up in depression at an early age or with extremely poor social skills.

At least take a real book like ones at the school library and learn things. Instead of learning how to .. by reading explicit content cuz you never listen when we tell you that a certain one shot is +18.

Again, I am not sorry. I am pissed.

Name: The Crimson Restraint AU

A Bungo Stray Dogs AU where vampires and werewolves exist.

A world where the Port Mafia is an organization led by vampires, while the Armed Detective Agency is like vampire hunters... But not.

Why not?

They don't want to kill them.

Why?

Because of one simple human who didn't want one specific vampire killed, no matter what he's done.

Their goal is to stop their actions and improve the relationship between vampires and humans.

Werewolves, too? Sort of yes. They're way more rare, though.

And, well. They don't have an entire organization right around the corner like vampires.

Most Port Mafia members are vampires.

Many higher positions occupy born vampires, while members of lower status are mainly made/created vampires or half vampires.

Many of the members has been turned into vampires and half vampires only after joining.

Only born vampires can make humans into vampires or half vampires. They have different lifespans and their ability level may vary. Same when it comes to the vampire hunger.

Humans and vampires are said to be unable to produce children as per certain genetic differences. The possibility of a born half vampire are more than extremely low.

A child between a human and a made (half)vampire is unlikely, but if born, most likely a full human.

Vampires' eyes turn more and more red when their hunger for blood reaches a specific point. When they're very hungry, their eyes start to glow.

The shade of red their eyes become can vary from more pink all the way to orange-like.

When not hungry, their eyes are normal colors like any human would have.

Their fangs are retractable as well. It's difficult to hide them when hungry, though, as they go out on their own. However, it's possible to learn to keep them in with training.

When it comes to the eye color, on the other hand, it's said that no vampire can hide that famously recognizable sign of their need for blood.
