Dazai, that type of guy I should be running away from. Like my momma told me about the men he is portraying.
Me at 3 am in the morning, lying awake in bed: "I have a thing for anime men who are mysterious and plain manipulative. I mean, look at Dazai Osamu. The guy is a walking red flag, and I still believe in him to do better."
Me seeing my therapist today: "I have an unhealthy obsession with someone."
My therapist: "An unhealthy obsession with who?"

Felt like drawing Dazai, so I looked up manga Dazai so I had reference. I'll probably post more Dazai pics soon, as I want to practice drawing him until I no longer need reference. :D Feel free to offer constructive criticism or advice!

i designed this a while ago so i plan on remaking it to have more character specific references after i do atsushi akutagawa and chuuya (and possibly a few other characters but theyre the 4 that had accessory collaborations with alice and the pirates so i mainly want to do coords for them to match)
btw his book on suicide is supposed to be a bag here but i didnt draw it yet :')
