I will never understand Berdly hate. "He's cringe!" "He's rude!" "He looks down on people!" Ohh, okay. So when you were a child, you were absolutely perfect and polite and respectful to everyone all the time.
He really is just a kid. He's a kid, and he's confused. And that's the adults' fault for stroking his ego after ONE SPELLING BEE until he was obsessed with trying to impress people (adults that will praise him especially). He doesn't understand that it's okay to not be right all the time, because in his mind, right=praise and wrong=being ignored.
And it's not like he's rude intentionally. He has difficulty understanding why people don't like him, because "I'm smart, all the adults like me". That's why he thought he had a crush on Noelle, since she was the only person that was kind to him. Again why that focus shifted to Susie when she was nice to him.
With Noelle, when he ignored her throughout the game, it wasn't maliciously. He assumed that, since she's "his equal", she would have the same thought processes as him. Essentially thinking they were at the "finishing each other's sentences" friendship level. To him, he was just saying what she was thinking; he didn't know he was ignoring her.
As for him being cringe, I would like to reiterate that HE'S A KID. A kid who's trying to figure himself out. He uses gamer talk because he has difficulty making friends, so he probably spends most of his time on a computer. He has trouble talking to people because his world view is split between "people like me when I do smart things" and whatever the games he plays are teaching him. Playing dating simulators has him convinced that anyone who tries to interact with him has a crush on him (as we see in chapter two, when Kris tries to interact with Berdly after fighting Q5U4EX7YY2E9N and he tells Kris to go since he's already interested in Susie, implying that he thinks Kris liked him in that way).
All this to say, the Berdly hate is ridiculous. I didn't mean to ramble on that long, but I agree with you. He's just a kid who's confused and an absolute dork. And that's okay! He's one of my favorite characters because of it.
A friend of mine blessed me with this rhyme they made after seeing Berdly hate for the first time (they are also obsessed with him), "He is cringe, but he is free! He's just a kid, so leave him be!"

I don’t understand why people hate him so much. So what if he comes off as a little cringy? That’s the point! He’s supposed to be a bit annoying and nerdy. I mean, he’s just a kid, after all. He’s not going to be the most emotionally intelligent of the bunch. In fact, he can be very selfish sometimes, but that doesn’t mean that he’s a bad character, it just means that he’s flawed.
He’s extremely loyal to Queen, even when she doesn’t appreciate him in the same way she appreciates Noelle.
He tries to help Noelle during the Snowgrave Route because he thinks Kris is hurting her.
All of his actions are, in his eyes, for his, Noelle’s, Kris’, and Susie’s own good.
Overall, I think Berdly is just misunderstood by others and confused by Queen. But at the end of the day, he genuinely does want to be a good person.
Also my friend got really obsessed with him when the game came out so that was funny

Oh and "Deltarune Today" became a thing, people where screaming it at each other. Like I rememebr a stranger grabbed me by the shoulders and said
"No you don't get it, it's Deltarune today!"
I had a dream that there was Deltarune today and man I'm so disappointed.
Instead of the retro pixel 8bit style Toby does he opted ro animate it like Dragon's Lair, thay or it was just some really long cutscene like the intro to Link's Awakening IDK.
One of the chapters was gonna take place in some role reversed dystopian universe and for some reason Berdly and Susie ended up together (ew)
The New chapters could be played out of order, and they kept on having different names (idk either it was confusing for me)
And Mike was just a taller Spamton
Lancer was a human
That's all I remember
I was so sad when I woke up despite the whole thing being so outlandish and the Berdly x Susie.
I'm gonna make a fan game now.....

Context: it's the end of the year and they've already done all their state mandated testing. There's basically nothing to do but sit there so Alphys just let's them chill in the class while she finishes grading papers, so Berdly pulls out his switch and starts boasting about how good he is at super smashing fighters. Alphys hears this and goes "Oh really?" And now you've got the scene before you.

The fun gang headcanons
Ralsei makes everyone tea when they hangout.
Noelle loves that tea.
Susie blushes 'cause Ralsei made her an specific extra pot that smells like pine cones, because Susie mentioned she loves those once (Similar to how she blushed during that Arcade Game scene in chapter 2 when you give her the plush).
She immediately gets up and tries to make Ralsei a special tea and sets the stove on fire in the process.
Noelle gives scary movies and video games suggestions at their hangouts.
Noelle beats everyone in the said scary game. Berdly cries on the ground afterwards.
Sometimes Susie finds weird shit on the ground when walking around and calls Kris over so they can eat it together.
Similarly, every time Kris finds moss on the ground in the light world they call Susie over.
Berdly gives Ralsei a gamer shirt. It's a white t-shirt with the red crewmate and the word "Sus" under it. Ralsei takes it, "Thanks...?". He hates it but wears it when Berdly's around anyways.
Lancer gives everyone cookies to eat with their Ralsei teas.
