@playydohh I misremembered the scene at the end of romancing Mr Bridgerton, but at the end, Colin and Pen reveal Whistledown's identity, which was the whole idea behind this tease. It doesn't have to be Polin, but Bridgerton at the very least.
I’m sorry, but if at the end of Bridgerton S3 doesn’t have Pen and Colin hosting a masquerade ball and Benedict dancing with a woman in silver and her running away at the end of the episode and her butler/maid friend asks her; “Everything alright, Miss Beckett?” and then the episode cuts to black. One thing i don't like in the Bridgerton fandom is that some fanfic they have Phillip Cavender as ex-boyfriend or a boyfriend to Sophie. Cavender is not and never will be a love interest for Sophie. He tried sexually assault her and its super hurtful to victims of SA to write him as just douchy boyfriend.
I know that these are not the authors intention but SA is a very delicate topic. So please any future story don't have Cavender as Sophie ex-boyfriend or anything.
