If I have to hear someone say "well the writers comfirmed" "well the writers denied" "well the creator said" "actually that can't be true because canon" ONE MORE TIME!
I DONT CARE! I DONT CARE WHAT THE WRITERS SAID! I DONT CARE IF THEY DIDNT INTENTIONALLY MAKE THIS CHARACTER LIKE THIS OR CANON SAID THIS OR WHATEVER
ITS ART! ART IS MEANT TO BE INTERPRETTED BY THE VEIWER SO I ACTUALLY DONT CARE WHAT THE ARTIST WAS GOING FOR
Thank you for coming to my ted talk
(I do care but let me enjoy things without having to over analyze everything please)
Did a bit more portrait practice. Decided after the viktor incident I would just lean into the arcane stuff.
Heres my reference photo! I think i got surprisingly close to the real thing. Wasn't expecting that.
Also, he needs chapstick so bad. Those lips are incredibly crusty
fuck that damn bridge he lost everything there 😭😭😭 i cant even imagine how he felt finding jinx in the same spot he found her mother ohmygod
Silco | Death on the bridge
I’ll always be a sucker for the son/daughter who’s labeled as crazy but really it’s because of the years they spent trying to be exactly what their parent/mentor wanted, craving that approval for so long they become bitter and angry
Bonus points if how they act out is just a way to get a reaction out of their parent because deep down they still desperately crave that approval, crave that acknowledgment, good or bad
Double bonus points if their parent/mentor betrayed a them or lets them down in some way and despite the hatred they feel towards them it can’t completely down out the need for approval; thus an over the top, dramatic event occurs
Definitely isn’t targeting at all
Official confirmation that Silco has noble motives and does things for Zaun's independence rather than his own selfish gain since some people forget he
Expresses his desire for Zaun to be free through whatever means necessary multiple times throughout the show (including talking about this dream being everything he and Vander wanted while all alone at Vander's statue with no reason to lie) meanwhile the chembarons only talk about their business
Was willing to give up shimmer, the thing keeping not only his empire but himself alive for independence
Had no choice but to use the black market and child labor to raise money much like Vander and Benzo, as Piltover controls exports and gatekeeps technological advancements. (Not to mention Piltover made child labor a part of Zaun's economy in the first place).
Had no choice but to use force and intimidation against Piltover and the enforcers since they refuse to give Zaun any representation or respect even after a violent revolution and Vander's reign of submission towards topside. When Sevika allies with topside against viktor/noxus despite everything, the best they can do is a single council seat (Zaun makes up at least half of the city's population) on a majority vote council that sneers at Sevika the moment they see her. And even this is likely the result of Caitlyn, Jayce, and Mel having to fight for a seat to be given to Zaun. Yet Silco's aggressive Zaun was offered full blown independence and unrestricted access to the hexgates?
Chooses to stay in the Last Drop within the heart and lower levels of Zaun. He stays in a modest little office where he (as was confirmed in one of the Arcane DVD bonus features) tolerates the noise of the scene below because he knows his lackeys enjoy it. The blanket on the couch in his office could also imply that he sleeps on it rather than a bed? Compare this to the chembarons, who stay in the upper levers of Zaun where the wealthiest Zaunites typically reside, where there is more sunlight and clean air. They indulge in elaborate and flamboyant body modifications and refined forms of recreational shimmer that do not carry the same negative consequences as the kind used by the more impoverished. They cannot even tolerate the gas that plagued the streets before Zaun "became an enterprise" (which he says with a note of disgust).
He couldn't simply go to war with Piltover and be done with it. His plan was to use the edge gained by shimmer to intimidate them, but unfortunately hextech was invented at the exact same time. By the time Silco had the resources he needed, whatever edge shimmer gave Zaun became useless as Piltover advanced in hextech, leaving Zaun behind once again. Silco already tried fighting Topside once, resulting in the slaughter of numerous Zaunites and defeat- before hextech was a thing. With hextech Jayce and Vi easily used inventions that weren't even meant as weapons to take down the chem tanks and destroy the factory. Silco isn't going to make the same mistake again, there is no point in fighting when they have no chance, just as Jayce points out. He needs to wait for the right opportunity, hence he "does nothing" as many Silco haters like to say, for seven years. And this is precisely why he pressures Jinx to create that weapon (and perhaps orders Warwick's creation), because until Zaun has hextech or some other edge there isn't much he can do.
jayvik au following the “the crow” (kind of)
content warning: violence!
where jayce and viktor are killed/assassinated in their apartment. it was a hit made by one of the chem barons in zaun to take down “the man of progress.” meant to throw piltover off balance (and eventually there will be a higher reveal that connects it to a certain higher power)
viktor was home when they first broke in, and he fought as much as he could, but it was ultimately four against one. so, jayce enters and nearly goes haywire at the scene he finds. but, this is season one jayce, and season one jayce has brute strength and not much experience with actually using it. so it’s a very messy crime scene. it’s awful.
but…HEAR ME OUT…viktor is resurrected (which makes the most sense because in the movie eric wasn’t the one the hit was on, and this way it would be the same). i feel like most people would make jayce the ‘chosen one’ (so to speak) but no. viktor digs himself out of the ground and goes on a vengeful killing spree in zaun. where he piques the interest of jinx and silco (who eventually befriend and help him). and then he eventually climbs his way higher and higher as the plot thickens.
one day guys…one day i’ll get to it </3

zaundad’s au where vander is taken by the enforcers after turning himself in for the explosion.
something about miscommunication and saving violet from turning herself in.
after the fact, vander’s territory is crumbling and benzo is holding water in his hands trying to pick up the pieces. silco hears and quickly catches on that maybe vander had a point in what he was doing. because at least his betrayal of cahooting with grayson was buying them time. and now zaun is dividing itself into shards of shattered pottery. and every thing is going to shit because there’s no one keeping all the ducks in a row.
and silco doesn’t really forgive vander, but after getting a tip about how he’s fighting for his life in stillwater, it makes him get a little crazy and protective. so much so that he actually finds himself considering forgiving the bastard. which ensues a ton of loathing and journal worthy emotions as he plans to save his stupid fucking soulmate that he literally hates with every bone in his body.
but he has violet knocking at his door just when he’s about to make the decision to either leave the hound to the wolves, or take vander’s place himself. and she’s so much wiser than her years, and she’s so blunt and courageous, that it reminds him of the way vander would protect them in the mines and during protests. using his brute strength and tuff demeanor to steer away danger. how he would shield them and barter their way through problems.
here was this young girl trying to act ten times her size and fill the same hole the silco himself had been trying so hard to fill. she was so angry that vander had chosen her over everything, and THAT made silco stop for a while. it made him almost jealous.
because vander has chosen everything over him. vander had chosen to act on his violence and guilt and he’d chosen felicia and piltover and the kids over silco.
so, anyway, just silco being pulled in two opposite directions as he tries to save vander from deteriorating in prison for protecting his daughter.

au were silco finds out vi is still alive. much earlier than in canon. and then having vulnerable feelings ensue) sorry silco. :(
here’s a teeny dabble on it while i think about how to go about it:
Silco didn’t make it a habit to travel Topside. He preferred the damp shadows of Zaun. And besides, a step in Piltover meant an immediate risk to his entire means. Which had been proven easily enough when he’d been in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Although he covered his bases, and he wasn’t dense, incidents occurred. In addition to the fact that he was unfortunately, still very human, and the bridge of the nation’s boarder made his head swim and his eye ache terribly. He’d ignore the pang of hurt that continued to hit him in the chest until the day he died. Possibly even longer.
Stillwater was probably the closest thing a convicted Piltie would get to living in Zaun. Enforcers at every corner, barely enough food, and enough back-talk to fill the Pilt River. It made him miss work in the mines. Where the labor was absolute shit, but the people kept you coming back. He’d leave with enough pain in his body to knock out an elephant, but with Vander’s arm keeping him warm and Felica’s sass reminding him to laugh. Back when it had all been worth it, without a doubt. Blisters and bedrock.
It was no matter to him either way now, Marcus would correct his people’s error. If he knew what was good for him and his naive child. Silco knew himself, and his people knew him almost good enough. There was a tight deadline ticking away the second the puny rookie with black hair had strapped his wrists. In the mean time, Stillwater was tolerable. Besides the florescent lights that burned his damaged eye.
A flash of magenta made him halt in front of the guard behind him. His shackles clanged as he took a step back.
She almost looked like her mother. Almost. Jinx was a closer resemblance. Violet held a wrath that seemed to seep from her bones, her eyes hardened with so much determination and attentiveness that it made him weary.
What truly made him stumble, was the way she held herself. The slightest slouch, making herself look smaller than she was. Her fists were wrapped by stained scraps of white fabric. They were clenched, making the linen taut around her swollen knuckles. And, by the way a few of the men around her slithered away, she had earned a level of rightful hierarchy inside.
Worst of all, Silco snapped his jaw shut, was the fact that she was so much like him. Like Vander. He didn’t need to venture towards her to know. He knew it by the way she stewed by herself while everyone else gathered in pairs and groups. How her lips twisted upon noticing him. Even the flicker of hope that crossed like a bullet.
A hopelessly lonely soul. Two peas in a pod.
Vander had been alone, before any one of their group had drawn together. He had been alone, and he had stewed. He lived by his brute strength and bravery, and Vi was following all the same footsteps. Like a child in thick snowbanks.
He almost pitied her. If he were honest with himself, he’d admit that it was more of a mourning. Of what their lives could have consisted of. If everything hadn’t gone sideways.
The moment was broken when a rounded baton poked him sharply in his spine, “Move.” He glowered. But, he did adhere to the rookie’s insolence. Vi was spinning her food tray around in circles on the table, eyes dark with murderous intent.
The blue of her eyes made him miss Connol, who had always managed to keep their chaos barred. Unfortunately, Vi didn’t seem to even vaguely carry such a patience from her biological father.
She really was Vander’s girl. Fitting.
He felt eyes on the back of head even after he was locked away behind four stone walls and an iron door. She had stuck to him like an oil residue, and he felt dreadful at the realization.
He reflected on the discovery of her life. Knowing he wouldn’t allow himself once his current mess was in the process of being cleaned up, there would be too much to be done after such a discovery. With Violet alive, there were bridges left unburned. And he would have to figure a way to either bury the hatchet, or find a match to strike.
If he could handle disposing of the one person he’d loved and trusted the most, he could deal with just another byproduct. He stared at one of the little glints of light through the cracks of the door.
But, as he was all by his lonesome in a frigid box, his mind wandered to Vander. And, against his will, he mourned some more.
I made more of these silly things (I think that’s what Viktor and Sky did in their free time tbh)
I’m going insane so I made a bunch of these
SILCO X AMBESSA HEADCANNONS (18+)
• Silco and Ambessa have a secret tradition of sharing a cup of tea together every morning, before the rest of the undercity wakes up. They sit in silence, watching the sun rise, and it's their special moment of peace.
• Ambessa is the only one who can make Silco laugh, and she loves to tease him and play pranks on him when they're alone. Silco, in turn, is fiercely protective of Ambessa and will do anything to keep her safe.
• Despite Ambessa being strong and built, Silco is always prepared to defend her
• Silco and Ambessa have a shared love of books, and they often spend hours discussing literature and philosophy together. Ambessa is the one who introduced Silco to his favorite authors, and he's forever grateful to her for expanding his mind.
• Despite his tough exterior, Silco is a total softie when it comes to Ambessa. He loves to surprise her with small gifts and gestures, and he's always looking for ways to make her happy.
• Ambessa is the one who helps Silco to see the beauty in the world, even in the darkest of times. She reminds him of the importance of hope and compassion, and he's grateful to her for keeping him grounded.
• Silco and Ambessa have a secret arrangement where they meet in a hidden room deep in the undercity, just to indulge in their desires. They spend hours exploring each other's bodies, and their lovemaking is always intense and passionate.
• Ambessa loves to tease Silco, pushing him to the edge of his control and then pulling back, just to see the look of desperation in his eyes. Silco, in return, loves to dominate Ambessa when she gives him the chance, pinning her down and taking her with a fierce intensity. With that said, Silco is bad a hiding his desperation to be squished between her thighs.
• Silco and Ambessa have a thing for role-playing, and they looooove to take on different personas in the bedroom. Ambessa loves to play the Dominant, and Silco loves to be the subby one, but they also love to switch roles and keep each other on their toes. They’re both big switches hehe
• Silco is obsessed with Ambessa's body, and he loves to explore every inch of her skin. He's particularly fond of her breasts, and he spends hours worshiping them, licking and sucking and biting until Ambessa is screaming with pleasure.
• Ambessa loves to give Silco the sloppiest head, and she's always looking for new ways to drive him crazy. She's mastered deep-throating, and Silco is always amazed by her skills. He loves to watch her take him in, her eyes locked on his as she sucks him down, and he always comes hard when she's finished with him (sometimes up to 5 times in a row..)

Sevika: Remeber when you didn’t try to solve all your problems with attempted murder?
Silco: Stop romanticizing the past.
Jinx: Okay. I get it. You’ve had a really hard time lately, you’re stressed out, seven people died.
Silco: Twelve, actually.
Jinx: Not the point. Look, they are dead now and really whose fault is that?
Silco: Yours!
Jinx: That’s right: no one’s.
Sevika: There are no more swear words in this house. If one is said you will have to deal with the boss.
Powder/Jinx: Heck.
Sevika: You’re on thin fucking ice kid.
Silco: …
Sevika: Dammit.
Silco: What did you do with Vander’s body?
Sevika: What didn’t I do to Vander’s body?
Silco: …
Sevika: Okay, that sounded more sexual than I intended. I disposed of the corpse respectfully.

CONTENT WARNINGS - Fluff • Brief mention on near death • Season 2 Spoilers! •
PAIRING: Alt Universe Vander X Fem Reader
SUMMARY: ever since a certain day in your lives, life in Zaun has never been better. And although your adopted children might’ve grown and flown the nest, there’s still laughter at the bar
WORD COUNT: 1.2K
——————————————————————————
Dawn had finally started to spill into Zaun, the sun glimmering off a soft morning dew of mist. Ever since Piltover and Zaun came together, life had become euphoric for all. Everyone united, the sons and daughters of Zaun no longer cut off from opportunities and fortune. Sure there was the odd spat between the two but nothing seemed to sever the bond between cities.
All seemingly possible because your kids stupidly nearly got themselves killed in Piltover. After receiving a tip from Ekko, your and Vander’s kids decided to sneak into a lavish Piltover apartment and attempt to burgle it for riches. Until for some unknown reason, an explosion nearly took the life of your oldest daughter Vi. It all but broke you and Vander to see her broken body. She had been so close to death that finally the Council decided their obliviousness to the Undercity’s problems had to come to an end.
And so it did. As Vi healed, so did Zaun. The air was cleaned. Health care provided. Chem-barons operations dismantled. Until finally the Zaun you grew up in became a thing of the past and the dream of a free Zaun became a reality.
Eventually the kids grew into adults, like baby birds leaving the nest and writing their own stories. Choosing their own fates. Powder and Ekko had been accepted into the academy furthering their brilliance for gadgets. Claggor turned his eye to further clearing the air in the fissures, using plants natural ability to produce oxygen. Mylo was still Mylo, happily jumping from one opportunity to the next but always there to help his brother with his projects. And Vi had followed in Vander’s footsteps, becoming a professional boxer. Along with starting a relationship with a councillors daughter. The bar that was once full of laughter became quiet. Though you and your husband were content. Just you and him. To do as you pleased.
At least for a year it was.
The two of you were sleeping together in bed; your bodies lying on your sides and intertwined with each other. Vander’s arms held you tightly to his body, one of his hands buried in your hair. Your own wrapped around his waist whilst you buried your face into his bare chest, feeling his soft snores tussle your hair at each exhale. Nothing could interrupt the peaceful bliss of sleep between you two. Until the door to your bedroom suddenly swung open.
“Dad! Come on, dad! You gotta get up!” A voice suddenly called, the two of you huffing out quietly when you felt the bed dip behind Vander. “Dad? Dad!”.
A slight snicker escaped your lips when you felt you husband shoulder being shoved by a tiny force, the child repeatedly calling for his fathers attention. “I think your son is awake,” you whispered into his chest. Vander’s arms tightened around your waist, burying his head further into the crown of your head.
“Before sunrise he’s your son,” he grumbled, voice still ripe with sleep.
“Dad! DAD!” The young lad yelped. Vander suddenly grunted out in shock and a small mixture of pain when your son hopped up and landed on his thigh, causing him to crack an eye open. “Come on, dad! You promised we’d decorate the bar!”. The boys brows furrowed in a very familia glare. One he had no doubted inherited from his father.
“Alright, alright. I’m up ya lil tike,” Vander groaned, yawning tiredly as the boy leaped off the bed and ran out the room in excitement. Of course, it was suddenly coming back to him. The academy that Ekko and Powder were studying at was hosting an inventions fair. Both teens excited beyond belief so you and Vander promised to host a party at the Last Drop. Win or lose, you were more than proud of the two teens. But at the same time, Vander also promised your now 7 year old son that he could help decorate the bar in the morning. Seems he took it a little too literally.
Your husband huffed out in exhaustion and rolled onto his back, running a hand down his face. “So much for sleeping in till 9”.
“Ha! Good luck with that,” you grinned, rolling with him to rest your chin on his chest. “He has the same amount of energy you had when you were that age”.
“Gods help us,” he huffed with a sleepy chuckle as his knuckles trailed down between your shoulder blades. “Why did I get you pregnant when all the kids had finally moved out?”.
“You were a little too excited that we finally had the house to ourselves … and because you couldn’t resist me in that dress,” you smirked cheekily, your finger drawing shapes over his peck; Vander going on to grunt out in annoyance at you reminder. “Now, come on! What was it you said that night? ‘Gods, love, you look gorgeous in that dress’ even though I was sweaty from running round like a headless chicken for Sevika’s birthday”.
He cocked a brow up at your impression, his hand gliding down to your waist to tug your closer. “Well, you did look gorgeous,” he replied.
“And we got a beautiful boy from it,” you sighed, eyes fluttering shut in content as you rested your cheek back on his chest. “Just think, 11 more years until he hits 18 and then maybe moves out and we’ll have the bar back to ourselves again”.
“Hoorah,” Vander sarcastically cheered, finally raising himself to a sitting position and letting you slide off of him. After attempting to rub the sleep from his eyes he glanced back over to you to see you had snuggled back down into your pillow. “You’re not getting up?” He asked.
“He only asked for you, Papa bear,” you playfully said, a honeyed smile gracing your lips as your eyes remained shut and tugged the quilt back over your shoulder. “I’m not working till later”.
Vander rolled his eyes. “You’re lucky I love you,” he impishly teased, leaning over you.
Your eye creeped open, gazing at him lovingly. “You better,” you hushed. Vander smiled, placing a gentle kiss to your lips which you happily accepted, your hand creeping out from under the covers to caress his cheek.
“Dad! Come on!” You suddenly heard your son call from the front room, causing the two of your to pull away with a sigh.
Vander huffed to himself and climbed out of bed. “11 more years,” he prayed for jokingly, feeling his joints click as he walked over to the wardrobe.
“And counting,” you giggled back.
Vander swiftly dressed himself for the day and left you with a kiss on the head. You could feel the pull of sleep lulling you back as you heard your sons joyous laughter along with your husbands. Their footsteps fading away when they walked up the stairs into the bar.
Things were certainly different now. Your children had futures brighter than you could’ve hoped for. Your husband and Silco’s relationship healed. And now the two of your were raising a new life together all over again. Seemed like a dream. One you certainly wouldn’t change for the world.

I wrote again. How bizarre. Eh, I can’t get this man out my head so I might as well do something productive with it. This was originally gonna be more angsty at the end but I’m not allergic to happiness unlike the Arcane writers so I decided to keep it fluffy instead. Hope y’all enjoyed.
