I relate to this so much, especially the part about caring(?) about your friends, but not necessarily wanting(?) friendship (I’m not sure if I’m wording this right)
Being aplspec makes discussions about friendships in aro spaces so awkward like. Yeah I agree friendship should be given more respect and amatonormativity should be dismantled. Yes I care very deeply for my friend(s). No I can't relate to your experiences with friendship or wanting friends. You've lost me. Why are you talking about friendship as if everyone has and/or wants it. Hey. Whatever happened to allowing people to decide what relationships they want and what those relationships entail for themselves.
It's exhausting because aro spaces are often one of the only spaces that will respect my devotion and care (sometimes I even call it love, depending on how I'm feeling that day) for my friend, but friendship is also just treated like romance is everywhere else and no one even seems to notice. You're not gonna defeat amatonormativity with the power of platonormativity. Have you considered readjusting your understanding of relationship anarchy and questioning your own biases and assumptions about platonic relationships? I'm drowning in "use friendship as a substitute for romance" posts over here
(and it's like. I don't want to criticize people's love for their friends or anything like that. I'm just so tired of all the assumptions of having and wanting friends. They're everywhere in here and make me feel so estranged from my own community)

Hi, I’m the one who asked this ask(?) and I have actually thought of identifying as either demiplatonic or greyplatonic in the past and after some looking into it I’ve decided that greyplatonic is the best fit for me between the two
So, I already know that I'm aromantic and that I don't experience romantic attraction like at all, but I'm not so sure about my platonic attraction. I know I love my friends, but I don't feel the need to befriend people when I first meet them. Rarely tho if someone approaches me first in the hopes of becoming friends and we talk and get along then I might think "hey this person is really cool I want to get to know them more". It usually take a while (tho not to long maybe a month or so) before I even consider someone a friend.
Would this be considered part (?) of the apl-spec?
that sounds a lot like demiplatonic definitely, but use whatever labels fit nicest for you
Averplatonic - a label for when one feels an amount of platonic attraction they deem significant, but has a platonic stance that does not align with it. For example, an alloplatonic person who is platonic-repulsed may want to use this label!

Things I shoulda known
I really should’ve known I was non-binary because I didn’t understand the binary at all, like I do, but it just was like a sock that never fit. When I did discover the term it made me a bit sad, but I had this huge wave of relief and was happy that I could finally be myself. All gender bathrooms are the best, no questions asked. Now onto my sexuality...I really shoulda known I was ace..I mean dude, I literally couldn’t say the word “sex” for years. I have a list of alternatives...quite literally. It’s funny cause one of my friends knew before I did. Now onto my romanticism...I never understood romance..but I was fully convinced that I was a pan/panro...I was really wrong. I hadn’t had well, any crushes (faked ‘em to a T). I found out I was demiplatonic and realized I have squishes on occasion (literally my besties...I love them so SO much...I wanna hang and talk philosophy with both of ‘em), and that I might not be as introverted as I thought. Imma get real existential real quick, but I really am grateful that in the little time that I’ve had on this planet, that I will never experience falling in love or sexual attraction because I’ll have a whole ‘nother experience than somebody else. I’ll change in different ways. My experience may not be common, but I’m grateful that I get to have it.

Making flags for some aplspec terms, based off of existing acespec terms. The flags are also based directly on their ace counterparts.
Requisplatonic / Requiesplatonic
Requisplatonic / Requiesplatonic : Being aplspec due to emotional exhaustion.
Bliskoplatonic
Bliskoplatonic: Only feeling platonic attraction when directly interacting with someone; said interaction can include texting, being near someone physically, playing a game together, etc.
Vitrumplatonic
Vitrumplatonic: Feeling disconnected or separated from one's platonic attraction. One may feel like they're viewing their platonic attraction through a glass wall.
Feaseplatonic
Feaseplatonic: A frayplatonic term for those whose platonic attraction turns into hate or disgust when acted upon.
Reicioplatonic ( Reicioapl / Reicioaplatonic )
A platonic orientation characterized by limited or no platonic attraction / interest / activity due to emotional exhaustion from repeated rejection, or an intense fear of rejection. It is similar to, and can overlap with or be used alongside, Requiesplatonic and Friendship-drained / Plato-drained.
( One example of someone using this label would be an individual who is Aplatonic, was Plato-neutral, who is now Plato-drained due to repeated rejection. They now consider themselves Reicioapl as they’ve lost all platonic interest in and their urges for platonic activities with those individuals. )
The flag colors and their meanings are inspired by the Requies- and the Aplatonic flags ( taking the bottom stripes from this Apl flag and this alternate Apl flag. ) Following the format of the other Reicio- flags, eg. Reicioaro, Reicioace, and Reiciorose.
Gold ( Yellow ) / Cream for Aplatonicism / Being on the Aplspec, Blue for exhaustion / rest, and the Grey stripe going through the Apl apple represents the absence of platonic attraction / interest / activity.
Reiciō is a Latin word which literally means to throw or repel, but can also be used figuratively to mean to reject. It’s pronounced /ˈrei̯.ki.oː/, [ˈrɛi̯kioː].

The yellow/green/purple are taken from the apl/aro/ace flags respectively, and are more pastel to resemble the unlabeled flag, as these terms are purposely vague.
The off white represents how the individual who identifies with this terms attraction is considered "off".
The pink represents attraction, because I've seen pink be used to represent sexual, romantic, and platonic attraction.
