I like how Ice Queendom is doing a good job of humanizing Whitley a lot more early on. He may act like a brat due to his upbringing, but despite that he does look up to his sisters. He’s just not very good at showing it, so he falls back on learned behaviors.

He even looks proud of Weiss when she defeats the Arma Gigas! It’s little details like this that go a long way.

i really appreciate that part as you say it's the little details that from the get go shows there's more than meet the eyes about him and that he does care or admire them even it's just squished between the fawning and the resentment at leaving him behind/not giving him the time of day
