when you realize your compassion is unreciprocated you have no choice but to focus it guard your heart plus if you are not for yourself and yours who will be for you but it shouldn’t have to come to this and i say that from a much farther distance and not nearly as involved due to many things but as it is apparent now that the allies presumed to be there are not you have every right to choose exactly where to direct your voice and empathy people i have trusted for years i realize i can’t anymore and that’s just the way it is anyway i am almost done talking about or sharing anything on here and maybe being on here in general but: i can no longer afford to care about everything and everyone when i know it will not be reciprocated - same that’s the lesson these three weeks have sadly imparted
