I feel like cursing with power and energy of the Sun would a giant version of "Fuck it, I cast fireball." Summer's already bad enough so I don't want to kickstart anything. Perhaps, I can do something else...hmm...give me an hour or so...I will think of something....
With my boyfriend and I getting sick before the holidays, my car radiator going out, and then all the ice and snow, we were finally able to get out of the house. When we got home, I lit some candles and I wanted to bring some life into our little house. I already suffer from clinical depression and anxiety, but even he has been feeling cooped up too.
The crystal grid is Sunstone at the center, then Citrine, then Clear Quartz. The Bee tarot deck is my absolute favorite at this point in time.
Y'all, I have finally found some proper chocolate scented incense!
Finding My Way Again and Healing in the Process
After doing some deep thinking and working with Ra and Anubis, I was able to find my own joy again. But also, with healing it helped me discover what it was that I needed. And what I needed is different from what it was before.
I have dabbled with death witchy stuff, sort of fell off the wagon. That was a period of time that was hard with my husband at the time having a stroke, and when i finally got back on my feet I lived between a nursing and the town cemetery. After that, I took a break, and then I became interested in weather magic. Weather magic is awesome, and living in Kansas it will always be a part of my curiosity.
But of course, throughout my journey Ra has always been with me, and with that comes being attracted to the Sun, watching sunrises and sunsets, the color yellow, etc.

I did a thing!! I did a witchy inspirational spread like @breelandwalker shared! I think it turned out nice.
Witchy Shop Finds
This is shop is called Mystic Menagerie, it's our second time going. We love this place, truly run by pagans for pagans and like minded folk. Like I said before this is the shop where the owner does a lot of stuff in house or locally sourced, if not locally sourced she has connections with people that she gets her goods and wares from.
She makes her own wreathes and I finally got one!
I also had a pendulum be drawn to me. She even could sense it but she's a medium so no surprise there
She also makes spell jars, and with all the sadness I have been dealing with I bought a grief spell jar. Her grief spell jars do not take the grief away but rather help navigate and heal through the pain
And lastly, I was wanting another book, but none were really speaking to me or at least sounded interesting until I found this one.
We love this shop and we were invited to her house to celebrate Yule with her and her family and other patrons from the store!
Dollar Tree Finds
While on break today, I came across some new products perfect as a gift or treating yourself. Astrology isn't my thing, but I did find these new trinket boxes.
For another Dollar Tree find we have those yearly Astrology books. I don't know how good they are.
I was also thrilled when I turned and looked I found a plastic organizer with compartments and a lid.
I figured I could use it as an DIY altar kit or something else witchy. The middle row is raised so there is room to put some bigger supplies or a carefully folded altar cloth.
