Me and my BF: talking on the phone Him: starts talking about how watermelon flavored things don't taste like actual watermelon Me, trying to be a smartass: Well actual watermelons have, ya'know, water in them, and water doesn't taste like anything, so of course the flavoring would be different. Him: YOU'RE TALKING SHIT ON WATERMELONS!!! ME: wha- wait WUT?!?! Him: sayin' watermelons don't taste like anything.... Me, desperately trying to salvage what I had believed to be a witty remark on the flavoring of watermelons: I said water doesn't taste like anything, the melon is the part with the taste!
