fanfic writers are so fucking awesome man. they write novel length fics that are sometimes even better than some published bestselling books written by professional writers. like fanfic writers are professional writers to me and they gift us their masterpieces for free. they give us something we can look forward to after a long day. something from which we can seek comfort when life is hard. something that can be our own little getaway. in a world of capitalism, despite everything, they give us all of these for free. like holy fuck. shout out to every fanfic writer. I wish all fanfic writers a very ‘I love you with all my heart and soul. I thank you from the bottom of my heart’
me as a kid reading Dune: I appreciate the detailed world-building that justifies why everyone fights with swords and has mental powers, but the idea of a Butlerian Jihad against computers is pretty silly

Story goes, a couple of years ago I digital painted this accursed image:
I don’t visit tumblr all that much these days but today I did, and I found a comment that said something along the lines of “Is this the original Ricardo Megamind meme?” and I was like “WHAT MEME?”. So I googled it and:
MY NAME IS MARLENA. I AM (or was until my tools broke) A DIGITAL ARTIST FROM POLAND. AND I PAINTED THIS SH**
I don’t mind it being a meme. It’s a fanart. I painted it for fun and because I really like that movie. I see this entire thing as a form of flattery. Also, you’re welcome, since this may be the closest you will ever see of a “live-action” Megamind (and considering how all the recent remakes of old classics are, it may be for the best).
I only want to know one thing, WHO THE F** IS THIS RICARDO?
In love with their interactions, the way they look and hug each other is so 🔝🔝🔝✨❤️
Which one do you like most? 🫣🫶
If we reach the 1.5k, I’m gonna make a special comic 👻
Also, my ko-fi is in my bio, if you want to support my art ✨🦐

Honestly, same.
reading terry prattchet is so crazy, cause you'll be reading about a character called something like plinko plonko and their zany exploits, and then he'll just drop a paragraph that goes so insanely hard like -
and then I just have to stare at the wall for a bit.
