Man I've been seeing a certain flavour of post recently in transmasc circles and like. We absolutely can and should talk about how transmasc interests are vehemently belittled. But it sometimes comes with the implication that this is unique to us, and like. whenever people bring up that trans men always pass better and eventually go stealth and leave the community (which is framed as a betrayal of some kind) i think about that one older trans lady on tiktok who had people ask her basically "where are all the older trans men in activism (did they all leave)" and she replied with "most of them died", like do we really always go stealth and leave or do we just not make it and nobody cares enough to check?
