I’m So Confused. I Don’t Know Whether To Be Happy That Castiel Confessed His Love Or Mortified That

Can you imagine you grow up on a farm, out in the wilderness, with very little access to any kind of amenities. You get out, because of your intelligence, and spend your whole life studying one particular topic. Learning about it is your passion. You don't advance very far, because other people keep stealing credit for your work and you don't have the social awareness to stop them. But you are still much better off than you started, so you let it go. Then a man shows up, who is not just interested in your favorite topic, but is the living embodiment of it. On your first outing, back to the area you grew up, he gives away very expensive items to save people just like your family. He doesn't see this as generous, just a basic expectation. He offers you up the reward and credit for the work you did together, when he could have kept it all for himself with no consequences, and he technically lost a large amount of money on this job because he gave it away to strangers. He asks you out to lunch at your favorite restaurant. After you finish eating, he goes behind the counter and gets a job for the evening, because learning about his favorite topic is his passion.

Will never get over Harry naming his kid “Severus.” Did Ginny not have a say in these names? I feel like she’d stop that bs before it even happened.

I get harry that harry wanted to name his kids after people he loved and people who died protecting him. I totally get that feeling of gratitude but what bugs me is the choice of names.

Sirius, James and Lily? Justified.

But Albus Severus? Really? One of them literally protected him to kill him in the end and the other one bullied him and his friends. They may deserve some recognition but didn’t they already get a hell lot of recognition?!

What about the other people who actually gave away their lives to protect Harry without demanding anything in return. They just fought selflessly to protect their world and their loved ones and got no recognition what so ever.

Ted Tonks trying to protect his wife and daughter in a world where his kind are in grave danger.

20 year old Fred Weasley trying to protect his family, and fighting for what is right and for the kind messy haired boy who’s now become family.

38 year old Remus Lupin trying to protect his best friends’ (who he couldn’t protect) son and to make the world a better place for his own son.

25 year old NymphadoraTonks trying to make a world a better place for her son, fighting for her dad and against the unfair practice.

17 year old Lavender Brown doing what she felt is right.

16 year old Colin creevy trying to protect his childhood idol and not caring if he’s underage because this is what he feels is correct.

And 50 other people who we don’t even know the names of because  Harry doesn’t bother finding out. And Rebeus Hagrid? He made Harry a birthday cake and bought him an owl for his 11th birthday and he didn’t even know him. He loved everyone unconditionally and was extremely loyal even after all he’s gone through. That man deserves the world.  Hagrid deserves more recognition than he ever got by anyone (be it Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dmbledore and the whole wizarding community).

These people are the real heroes and they don’t deserve to be forgotten.

Jason: … the bed’s too small

Clive: Oh! I can get a bigger one. Actually, we can probably just sleep in the same room from now on. Turn your room into a study because it’s smaller. More more efficient for storing documents.

Jason, internally: … oh no

Jason: What if we have guests? (And they see us sleeping together)

Clive: We’re married.

And now Clive is offended

A modern day AU where Clive is a lonely researcher and Jason works part time at a dumpling soup shop and at an office supply store.

Clive only goes out for three things - food, office supplies, and basic necessities. Somehow he runs into Jason doing all three of these. And somehow, the chef/server who will let Clive rant about his research, coworkers, the university (all while looking very interested), remembers his name and says hi to him every time they see each other.

It’s the way Jason and Clive are in so in sync. Not even Farrah knew what was going on.

Me, overanalyzing the scene:

Clive attracts people by having a cute familiar people want to feed.

Jason plays into Stashe’s biscuit obsession —> he likes feeding familiars.

Jason thinks Onslow is cute. Worries about him multiple times.

Clive shoos away all ladies interested in him when feeding Onslow.

But Clive says Onslow “helps with the ladies.”

Clive uses Onslow to attract Jason/ help him get Jason’s attention because Jason thinks Onslow is cute and wants to feed him.

Clive is really just in love with Jason.
