falling in love with 𝐀𝐋𝐁𝐄𝐃𝐎 is like conducting an experiment. just like there are many layers to it, there are many layers to him. you have to be careful, with your measurements and where the both of your boundaries lie and how much you can step over them without intruding into something the other would rather keep hidden. chalk dust and moonlight and sunshine make up his body, something celestial in place of a heart and that star at his throat? all of it is yours, just like how all of you is his. and when you think that you know all of him, he shows you a part of him that surprises you and it’s like you’re falling in love with him all over again.

falling in love with 𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐘 is bittersweet. she doesn’t belong to teyvat, and one day, she’ll have to leave you behind. you want to make the most of your time with her, and vice versa. you wish desperately to show her the wonders of your home but you don’t, because you know it’ll just make it harder for her to leave in the end. you teach her about your culture, and she tells you about her world. gift-giving is a must between the two of you, because you’re afraid that she’ll forget about you. but she tells you, as blunt as an axe, that she’ll come back to you. and you have faith in her, in your brave, brave huntress, so you smile at her and tell her that you’ll wait for her. however long it takes.

falling in love with 𝐀𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 is easy. so easy. it’s the easiest thing ever. she’s so bright and happy that it’s impossible not to like her in any capacity. she’s just so lovely and cheerful. it scares you, sometimes, because, well, she’s outrider amber. she could do so much better than you. but she only wants you. no matter what you say, no one is better than you and nothing could ever stop her from loving you. you don’t tease her about baron bunny, and you cheer her on during her gliding competitions and you listen to her rants about cavalry captain kaeya without batting an eyelid, so what more could she want? she has everything she needs; her bow and her glider and baron bunny and you.

falling in love with 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐀 is peaceful. she’s so lovely and kind, and you adore her with all your heart. she is always chiding you for being too reckless when she heals your injuries but after you’re done, she runs soft fingers down all your scars and tells you that she loves you. sometimes, in the dead of night, just the two of you tucked underneath the covers, she tells you that she feels like she’s never enough. her sister has done so much for mondstadt, she whispers, while she just smiles and sings and heals. so you take her hands in yours and you tell her that making people happy is the greatest gift of all, because she gives them hope. and she smiles shyly at you and asks you if she makes you happy? and you mean it with your entire soul when you tell her, yes.

Mona is quite a quiet one. She’d be that kind of girlfriend you would have to buy or do things for her without asking. Because she often hates to ask for things. Especially mora. Though Mona is extremely sweet if you buy her anything or give her more. She would do her best to protect you and would tell you all about astrology. When it comes to talking to astrology she trusts you the most to rant to you about. Because she doesn’t talk to many people, she appreciates it a lot when you listen to her talk about astrology. When it comes to pleasing you, she’ll cling onto you for cuddles. She despises being so bold to have to ask to cuddle but you always like seeing her get red. She’ll lay with her head gently on your chest while you have an arm wrapped around her waist while she falls asleep. Other times, she’ll try to take you out on the best and most perfect dates. So she can appreciate everything you do for her and return the favors. Which is why most of your dates are romantic and usually during a starry night or late evening. Since she knows how much you enjoy the scenery. During the day while you work, she’ll prepare you a lunch for you to take tomorrow and dinner for you to eat. So that you won’t have to worry about cooking or cleaning when you get home.

Fischl is quite the handful. She may be quiet and more to herself, but she does enjoy going on adventures and etc. That’s why you usually come with her since it’s the most you can get out of her. While being with Fischl, she’ll do her best to keep you safe. Meaning she’ll make sure you are protected when you come with her on her commissions. Other times if Fischl has no commissions or ends up sick, she’ll let you do your daily work. And would clean up the house and cook for you. When it comes to dates, Fischl prefers to go at night, because by the time the two of you come home, you can just go straight to bed and cuddle. She would also compliment you time from time, though she’ll blush a bit if you do the same. If Fischl feels unsafe, she’ll cling onto your arm and rest her head on your arm or shoulder. Because she feels that if she is closer to you, she’ll get warmer and feel better.

As for Sucrose, she is a very shy girl and is not the most fond of talking to others. You sometimes even think of how lucky you were to even manage to date her. But you appreciate every second of it. Sucrose is usually busy doing experiments but always comes home at a reasonable time. Since you are usually not home before her, she’ll end up tidying up the place. Cleaning up every spot and then cooking a nice and good healthy meal for you. When it comes to dating, it’s usually spent having Sucrose find things for her experiments. But occasionally during those dates she’ll plant kisses on your neck or ears. When you two cuddle, she prefers it when you play with her ears because it makes her sleep better and easier. She also likes it when you press kisses to fluffy ears as well.

Characters: Eula, Lisa, Ganyu, Yanfei, Sara

Warnings: spoilers to Liyue and Inazuma Archon quest

A/n: Thank you! You take care as well, I really like this trope so I decided to go ham and give love to girls from every region

• Eula disliked you because you disliked her. Of course slavery was unacceptable, and she hated her last name and everything associated with it because of it. But you continued to judge her and she wasn’t going to sit back and take it.

• Eula would purposely avoid you, but sometimes she was forced in a conversation with you. You could tell from her passive aggression that she hated your guts.

• Her changing point was when you defended her. Someone had ridiculed her for her last name and you stood up for her… she was confused to say the very least. After all who were you to talk, but somehow it brought butterflies to her stomach

• Eula suddenly dropped all formalities, her passive aggression became playful. Almost like a little child who bullied their crush, you knew Eula didn’t know how to show affection.

Eula stood around the corner mustering up the courage to talk to you while you were reading the commission board in Mondstadt. “Well well finally doing work huh?” She said with her head held high, you heard her heels clacking against the cobblestone behind you.

You turned to glance at her only to look back at the board. “Mhm, I’m trying to figure out which bounty to take. One ruin guard seems to be weakened to physical damage, while this one is rumored to be weakened to my vision.” Eula took her place beside you, she didn’t look at the posters but at you.

“Well if you ask me I’d take the first option.” She said, she hoped you’d offer to take her as she excelled at physical damage and she could impress you. A moment of silence passed until you decided.

“Hm nah, that’d be dumb,” you tore the second poster down. She gave you a playful hit on your head before pinning the poster in your hand back up and shoving the first one in your face.

“I outta take my vengeance out on you instead,” She pouted at you. “We’re doing this one together, I don’t care what you say.” You sighed and trailed behind her. You could still be irritating to her at times, but she was a handful and was grateful you tolerated her.

• You loved books, but you were banned from the library on accordance from Lisa. You never returned books on time, therefore you were forbidden. So you resorted to stealing, but every time you would return it secretly, although still late.

• You knew Lisa didn’t like you because she was an assertive woman. She wasn’t secretive about her dislike for you. Instead of calling you a cutie like everyone else, she called you a crook.

• Lisa’s opinion of you changed when you left her little gifts in the returned books. She would always check the condition and find flowers in between the pages with a note that asked for her forgiveness in a very flirtatious way if she were reading the connotations right.

• Lisa unbanned you from the library, but requested you to read in her sight. You bonded this way and she began to call you cutie, you noticed she stopped calling others cutie, only you.

You sat at a table in the library reading your favorite trilogy. Due to Lisa’s new conditions you could no longer leave with a book, you respected it because before if she caught you she would simply just kick you out.

You heard the chair across from you screech as someone sat in it. You looked up to find Lisa staring at you fondly, resting her head on one hand smugly while sliding to you a meaty book with the other. “Try reading that one cutie.”

You read the summary on the back and it was a sappy romance one, typically you didn’t enjoy this genre, but if it was Lisa you would read it. “I have an assignment for you,” she mentioned, intriguing you more. “Read it and tell me what you think about it. Reflect on the main protagonist and their heroine. Let me know if you see any parallels.” She smiled before leaving.

You blew through the book in a single day, it was incredibly cringey. The plot was too ideal and happy-go-lucky, absolutely unrealistic. But you couldn’t help but put yourself in the main characters shoes, and pretended as if Lisa was the heroine.

At the end was a note addressed to you from Lisa, it read: give me a chance with you and I’ll forgive you for your overdue books, and beside was a poorly drawn winky face. At the bottom was Love, Lisa. Emphasis on Love.

• Ganyu was your enemy because she disagreed with your work ethic. She thought it was inefficient and immoral which made her dislike you from the beginning.

• Ganyu was never expressive or loud in the first place, she probably despised you in silence. You found out when you called out for her and she ignored you voluntarily.

• It wasn’t until Liyue Harbor was in Peril and the Jade Chamber was sacrificed. She saw you fight valiantly for Liyue that she saw you in a different light.

•Although clumsy, Ganyu was always on top of her work. Especially when working with you to prove her superiority, but recently you noticed she wasn’t exactly following her former trends. Ganyu wasn’t avoiding you like the plague anymore, she actually made an effort to talk to you which was rare for anybody in Liyue.

Ganyu was working on a particularly hard assignment given to her by Ningguang. Typically she only handled lawsuits and fines, but recently Ningguang was giving her financial accounting… something she wasn’t familiar with, but you were.

You hear a knock on your door, “come in,” and there was Ganyu. She often found herself coming to your office nowadays, what surprised her more was her enjoying talking to you.

“Lady Ningguang assigned another one to me, can you help me balance the liabilities and assets?” You knew Ganyu was very well capable of figuring it out herself, yet she kept coming to you for help. You motioned for her to take the seat out in front of you.

Ganyu laid the ledger out in front of you, occasionally you two would touch hands on accident, sometimes on purpose. But neither of you seemed to mind, god forbid even mentioning it. You both had a permanent light blush on your faces.

Ganyu’s heart was beating so unnaturally fast she couldn’t focus on your directions. If she felt this way with you, maybe she should’ve come around on you sooner.

• Yanfei thought you were savage, always breaking the law no matter how minor. She chased you down probably once a day for stealing from vendors whether it be food or mora.

• you knew you were a pain in her butt, in fact she would verbally tell you were a pain her butt. She would mark you up fee after fee, she told you were a waste of her time and would roll her eyes.

• One time she caught you in the act, and when you thought you lost her you delivered the stolen goods to the abandon kids who were homeless on the streets of Liyue. Little did you know she was watching you from afar and decided to let you off the hook. She figured that’s what you did with all your stolen goods.

• She started to follow you everywhere whenever her schedule allowed it. She told you if you were going to donate to the poor at least do it legally. She directed you to many homeless shelter volunteer place.

You were planning on stealing some almond tofu for a particular kid who was struggling, but Yanfei was eyeing you down. You felt chills down your spine as she trailed closely behind you.

She wasn’t dumb, she could tell you were trying to shake her off. But she wasn’t going to allow it, “Come with me,” she grabbed your wrist tightly and brought you to a commission board for charity work.

She firmly pointed to a specific poster. It advertised volunteer hours for a nonprofit that geared towards helping the same kids in poverty that you did, but legally. “You owe Liyue a mountain of fees. You’re lucky it’s within my power to convert it to community service hours.” She folded her arms, “and as your legal advisor I’ll even supervise you so you don’t have to provide a documentation of proof.”

“You’re gonna keep poor little me company huh? What’re you my girlfriend?” You tease her, she only blushed a little her eyebrows knitting together as she cringed at your disgusting words.

“Geeze you never learn.” She face palmed at your juvenile manner. Maybe you were right though, she thought. Was she following you around to enforce the law, or because she felt some type of way around you? Maybe both?

• You served the Shogun yet you didn’t agree with her actions so you strayed. Sara thought you were dense because you could achieve so much more if only you depended more on her, but you chose to be alone.

• You could tell Sara hated you because she was quite public about it. She showed a visible distaste for you and refused to talk about you because she would get too angry if she did.

• It wasn’t until she found out about her fathers betrayal that she understood why you act alone. She understood suddenly the importance of acting on your own and rebelling against the army even if the end goal was mutual.

• Whenever you encountered Sara afterwards she would converse with you. She even gave you a nickname even though it wasn’t very flattering, and wish you good luck on your next mission.

You scheduled weekly meetings with Sara at the Kiminami restaurant, even with a new found respect for you she still found you irritating to the core. But she attended trying to find inner peace with herself.

You were way too optimistic for her, she thought your bubbly attitude was annoying in contrast to her depressive stern personality. Observers would disagree though, saying you two were a perfect balance.

“Sara, Sara- which one should I order this time? Maybe I should try yours, how do you like your meat cooked? Maybe I should request it medium rare as well, I usually have it cooked well done though. Say will I get food poisoning?” You were asking too many questions at once, as usual you were carrying a one sided conversation.

“Maybe if you gave me an opportunity to I could answer one of your many questions.” She said you could practically see the veins popping from her head.

She’d be lying if she said she didn’t enjoy your company. It was often lonely for her with her adoptive family and serving a puppet for all her life. Your big personality was enough to fill the void that she needed, she decided she would stay loyal to you. However it would be nice to stay beside you forever as your lover, maybe it was wishful thinking on her part though.

hi besties!!! i’m brainrotting about my genshin crushes rn so. yeah i’m doing my fav genshin characters for this one! characters here are zhongli, yoimiya, hu tao, & albedo 💓

ZHONGLI

zhongli’s ideal s/o would be quite different from him. i could really see him with someone loud and charismatic, opposed to his quieter behavior.

i don’t think zhongli would want to date anyone from liyue. i feel like they see liyue’s people as their descendants and that would just be weird lmao so it’s a 90 day fiancé moment

zhongli would need someone open-minded. if they’re gonna freak out when they inevitably find out that he’s rex lapis, then he probably won’t even bother. it’s just unnecessary drama that they don’t want to deal with. the point of becoming zhongli was to distance themself from rex lapis anyway.

that being said, zhongli still cares a lot about liyue and its history, so he would really appreciate someone who shares that passion. please ask him to tell you stories about liyue!! it makes them very happy

zhongli would want someone who isn’t jealous or possessive. if you find out about his past relationship with guizhong and you’re insensitive about it, that’ll just break his heart. they love you now, you’d have no reason to be jealous over someone who’s been dead for millennia.

YOIMIYA

yoimiya would definitely want somebody just as outgoing and energetic as her. it’s not that she has anything against introverted people, it’s just that they wouldn’t be able to keep up with her lifestyle.

she cares a lot about what her dad thinks, so he has to approve of you! i’m sure he would though lol, he’s probably gonna be happy with anyone who makes his daughter happy

yoimiya values someone who will listen to her; not just hear what she says, but truly listen and engage with her. she’s spent a lot of her life being ignored or tuned out and it’s really disheartening for her. she would adore a significant other who loves to hear her talk about whatever’s on her mind.

i feel like yoimiya would be compatible with an artist. being an artist (of fireworks) herself, she would love to be close to someone else as passionate about creating as she is. doesn’t matter if you’re good or bad, as long as you let her see whatever you’re working on, she’s happy!

yoimiya’s love languages are definitely physical touch and words of affection. the latter is pretty obvious considering how much she loves to talk. as for physical touch, she seems like the kind of person to always want to hold her s/o in some way. yoimiya will constantly want to cuddle or at least hold your hand, so if you’re not into that, she’s gonna be kinda upset.

HU TAO

all hu tao wants is someone who likes her. that’s it. she constantly suffers through everyone thinking she’s mean, annoying, and unfunny. she strikes me as the kind of person to cling to whoever shows her a fraction of love.

unfortunately, that would probably lead her to making some bad decisions in past relationships. she needs someone who will love her for her and be there when she can’t keep up her façade anymore. hu tao needs someone who understands her, who doesn’t see her as unworthy or broken.

sad stuff out of the way, of course she’d love someone with a sense of humor! life’s boring when you don’t know how to laugh. that would definitely be the first thing hu tao notices in her s/o.

but she would also appreciate it if her s/o knew how to quell her sometimes-inappropriate attitude. all hu tao wants is to fit in with the rest of the world, so if you can gently show her how to do that without changing who she is, she’ll love you forever

speaking of forever, hu tao would love an immortal s/o. she deals in death, but the last thing she wants to think about is the deaths of her loved ones. if she were to date a god or an adeptus, she wouldn’t have to worry about that. but immortals are hard to come by, so she’s happy with her s/o just being safe and evading death for as long as possible. i can’t see her with an adventurer s/o because it’s just too dangerous and it would worry her so much.

ALBEDO

albedo doesn’t care to look for an s/o and if he ever develops feelings for someone, he’d want them to pursue the relationship first. albedo’s not great with expressing himself, so he would love someone who could do that instead and be patient with him.

i can really see albedo falling for someone from outside mondstadt or khaenri’ah. he values learning about the world around him, and having an s/o from somewhere he’s never been would be beneficial to him. not that he sees you as a commodity though, he just thinks that’s a fun added bonus to who you are.

like zhongli, albedo wants someone open-minded. he has a pretty weird past and is literally made of chalk, so do with that what you will lmao

albedo would want you to get along with klee. she means a lot to him, and it would really warm his heart if you took care of and loved klee the way he does. not liking klee would be a total red flag to him.

With hu tao you have to time it right

I think dancing for hu tao is like what bread is to butter, sure it’s good on its own, but with extra things like, bacon, avacado, toasting it, having it in the morning with some eggs, you know the outside factors, or the things you can add to it. Those are what truly make the bread and butter.

Slow dancing with her randomly on a walk around wuwang hill, is where it feels best. The creepy atmosphere, mixed with the, red, setting sun is truly… amazing.

Ei I think would be very… nervous.

I don’t think she dances, nor can she dance, so you’d have to lead a fair amount, sure she’ll get it eventually but… that takes a while

Feet clashing, and huffs of frustration from Ei are common, but your encouragement and laughter that is truly pure, makes it all worth it in the end.

quiet mornings with xiao were always a blessing. your boyfriend didn't always sleep, in fact, he almost never did, electing to lay by your side and hold you through the night instead.

however, on nights that he did end up getting in a night's rest without being woken by nightmares, you would have the pleasure of waking up to his positively peaceful face. his brows freed from his eternal scowl, golden eyes closed gently, pink lips just barely parted, breathing in soft and serene breaths.

you loved seeing him so calm like this, sleeping safe and sound and far from danger. but, you knew he would be irritated if he were to sleep in too late.

"xiao," you whispered, leaning up on your elbow, reaching down to cup his cheek with your hand. "good morning, my love."

his long eyelashes fluttered as he stirred awake, groggy, honeyed gaze meeting yours as he woke up slowly.

"good morning," he rasped, leaning slightly into your hold.

"sleep well?" you ask softly, gently rubbing his cheek with your thumb, eyes never leaving his.

"i guess," he murmurs, looking away. you lean down to kiss him, pulling away with a slight grin.

"well, all that matters is that you're awake and you're rested! now i can kiss you without disturbing that peaceful, pretty face of yours."

his cheeks flush a deep red at your words, a scowl and an averted gaze telling you all you needed to know.

without warning, you grabbed his cheeks and began peppering his face with feather-soft kisses. eyes, eyebrows, forehead, nose, cheeks- none of his features were safe from your loving assault. you finished with a longer press to his lips, pulling away with a little pop.

xiao blinked up at you, blushing profusely, both hands holding your wrists against his face. you thought he was going to chastise you for your excessive affection so early in the morning, but in just the blink of an eye and the gentle brush of anemo against your skin, the roles were reversed.

xiao's hands cradled your face perfectly, deep, amber eyes staring straight through yours as he hovered over you.

"my turn."

"move, i'm working," scaramouche grumbled, back stiffening at your new presence behind him.

"aw, c'mon scara," you whined, hands mindlessly rubbing his shoulders. "spend some time with me!"

he ignored you this time, feather pen scratching along the paper as if he hadn't heard you at all. your fingers stilled against his back, a pout forming across your lips. his writing paused at your lack of contact in disappointment, but it was so brief you barely even noticed.

you waited a few moments before allowing your hands to creep back over his shoulders, running up and down his arms, planting little kisses all over his back. he tensed beneath your hold, still trying to ignore you as best he could, but as you kissed your way up to the base of his neck, his resolve was slowly breaking. once your chaste pecks made their way all the way to just below his ear, he stood up, whirling on his heel and grabbing your face.

"alright, fine. you win," he glared at you, but his tone betrayed his affection.

you beamed, leaning in to press three quick kisses against your lover's lips, the fourth lingering for just a moment longer. "i knew you'd come around."

⊹𝐇𝐔 𝐓𝐀𝐎.

hu tao's fingers were mindlessly fiddling with yours as you both relaxed in the shade of a sandbearer tree. it was a gorgeous afternoon, the sun hung low in the sky, reflecting of the gentle ripples of the pond in front of you, just warm enough that you didn't require a coat. little containers of snacks were littered across the blanket, remnants of the picnic you and your girlfriend had earlier that day.

she sighed suddenly, breaking the silence, turning over on her side so she was facing you. "pumpkin?"

you turned over, meeting hu tao's pretty eyes. "yes, flower?"

she reached up to your cheek, thumb brushing against your cheekbone lovingly before planting a sweet kiss against your lips.

"i. love. you. so. much," she punctuated each word with a peck against your mouth, smiling sweetly at your flustered reaction. "that's all."

you blinked up at her, at a loss for words as she settled back down beside you, resuming her fascination with the fingers on your right hand.

a smile worked its way across your lips as you layed back down, snuggling closer into hu tao's side and giving a quick kiss to her shoulder.

beidou is tired. she’s tired of grinning through it all and claiming it was fine, that she was okay, that she had moved on. when in reality she hadn't. she ached to hold you again, tell you how much she admired you. she wanted to hear your laugh. she couldn't, though, because you weren’t there anymore.

hu tao is broken. so very broken. all her pieces are scattered, fragmented, and she doesn’t know what to do. she tells herself that it would be alright, that it was going to happen eventually. but it didn't happen in the way that she had imagined. the way you departed and simply forgot about her existence still plays through her mind. she’s losing herself - allowing her mind to contemplate - to worry, to question. but never know why.

ningguang is confused. she didn’t expect it. the sweet smiles and soft hand grazes and gazing into each other’s eyes for just a moment longer. she believed it to be real, to be forever. she did not know it was going to end. but she hadn't seen you in a while - and all she could feel was guilt. though she did nothing wrong.

xiao is lost. he doesn’t know what to feel. he gave his trust to you, and it shattered in the end. he’s wandering, here and beyond - with no sole purpose. the epilogue began to make his karmic debt more excruciating. and he has no idea what to do about it. he is sorry though, that you had to waste your time on him - that he wasted his time on you.

yanfei is puzzled. she attempted to do everything in her power to make it work again. but time cannot be rewinded. the flame could not be rekindled. you left and never came back. so yanfei had to deal with it. life wasn’t always fair.

💚gets all pouty when she’s jealous. Poor baby knows that you think of her as your girlfriend, but she can’t help it, that feeling of jealousy. May throw herself into her Outrider duties to ignore that negative feeling of hers. Do expect her to be more clingy, more kissy, and more cuddly for the next few days though, in order to comfort this poor girl, even if you don’t know what is wrong. Amber just doesn’t want to lose her number 1 supporter of rebuilding the Outrider division. She wants you to be there when she finally does it.

💓She first knew it when you, her friend and fellow competitive glider, beat her in the Annual Gliding competition for a consecutive 3rd time that year. You always loved being with the wind, and had sworn that after beating her, the reigning champion, three times, you would leave Mondstadt and explore the world, and take part in grander gliding competitions in Teyvat, starting with the Annual Liyue Gliding competition that was up next year. She always knew that you would leave, and you would be gliding off, so really, why did she want to beg you to stay?

As tears fell upon her eyes that very night, all the pieces that had slowly assembled, from the very first time you won, crystallized into the very fact that presents in front of her.

🎲It’s speculation, but maybe, before her grandfather left, her favourite color was white. In the manga, her ribbon was mainly white, and had more variation in color, and white really suits her! It’s like signifying her innocence, and her pure outlook towards life.

I believed it changed to red ever since her grandfather left, because red was the colour she associated with her grandfather and the Outriders. And the moment she realized that instead of waiting for others’ instructions, she should forge her own path, she received the Pyro vision that we all know she now possesses.

💚She’s strangely not! I think it stems from the fact that she knows that many people don’t like her in the first place, so to have you, someone who loves her, essentially tells her that, you really do love her and only her, so generally, she’s very chill when it comes to jealousy.

Still though, should someone flirt with you, she’ll instantly be straightforwardly pranking them as much as she can, driving them away. That’s not a good thing though, so do work it out with her, okay? She’s still human, with feelings. She can feel jealous from time to time as well.

🎲 Personally, I feel the reason that Hu Tao pranks others is because she wants attention from others. She reminds me of Usopp from One Piece, who parodied the Boy who Cries Wolf (a/n I should really get back to one piece it’s so good but idk where I am anymore)

Pranking, even if it attracts negative attention and gives her a negative reputation, would at least ensure that when she’s gone, she knows that there will be someone to remember her.

But if you’re her lover, she actually does not prank you that much. She does, just not that frequent, or that seriously. That’s because when it comes to you, you already give her your complete attention, no matter what she is doing. Her heart always beats so fast when you’re around as a result, grateful that there’s someone who unconditionally and willingly loves her for who she is, and the front she puts up.

💚  Wouldn't outwardly react or show anything. After all, if it happens once in a while or you have directly rejected their advances, then it should be fine.

However, if you didn’t successfully reject your suitor, Yanfei would begin to have doubts on your loyalty to her. If you start spending more time with them for some weird reason, that’s when she starts trying to find out what you’re up to something, not once admitting that she’s jealous. She fears the worst, that you’re cheating on her. This would lead to a fight that will remind her of all the civil cases that she’s faced, and it’ll be the most heartbreaking “case” she’ll ever have to take on. She’s too scared that you will break the fragile pieces of her heart, and she’ll be alone, like how her parents left.

💓- it’s when you two celebrated the Lantern Rite festival together. Back then, despite her knowledge about the law, she wasn’t so sure how to describe the feeling of butterflies around you, or how she was so conscious about your every movement around her. As she was born in the era of peace, while she was aware of the frivolous feeling of love, she had not fully experienced a romantic love, but only the familial love that her parents and the Adepti showered on her.

That night, as you both wrote your wishes on the Mingxiao lantern, she unconsciously wrote her wish while staring at your concentrated face, thinking about your own wish. She wrote:

“I want y/n to be happy.”

It took her a good minute to fully process what she wrote, and her face instantly turned as red as her vision. Her hands stretched out to wipe the wish away, but eventually stopped mid-air.

“I.. I can’t do this. I want y/n to be happy. But it’s just friends, right? Why do I feel like there’s more to it?”

“Hey, Yanfei, what did you wish for?”

“Hmm, nothing much, just something about law again,” she nervously chuckles, grasping at her skirt, trying to still her furiously beating heart. “What about you?”

“I wished for something for someone I fell for, so I can’t tell you, teehee!”

What was this pain? Didn’t she think of you as just a friend?

Deep down, she knew at that split moment. She was in love with you. But now, it seemed that she has no chance.

So lost in her thoughts at that moment, she didn’t notice how you stared at her adoringly, your eyes softening under the light of the lanterns.

🎲- Yanfei has mentioned that should she not be a lawyer, she would be a rapper. But I personally feel that she’ll not be a really good rapper at least immediately, or even after a long while. Yes, Yanfei can speak really, really fast. This I cannot deny, for it is really really hot. Not only does she have to speak fast, she also has to take note of the pitch, the rhythm, and also, creativity. Yanfei strikes me as someone who likes freedom provided that there are rules that ensure such freedom is not excessive or too little, and well, I can’t personally see creativity when it comes to music to her, at the beginning. I feel that though, if she works with Xinyan, who most definitely has musical talent, Yanfei would be able to grow as a rapper, and become better eventually. It takes experience, but for Yanfei, who has always lived in a mostly similar lifestyle so far, I do not see such experience yet, compared to Xiao, Ganyu and Zhongli, who have experienced more events than her.

Okay so hear me out on this. What about a one shot/a little Drabble about HuTao trying to be sexy for her S/O when they come home late from work, adventuring, commissions, etc.

But half way trough HuTao’a demeanor changes. She gets super shy and self conscious because of her flat-chest, her boney thighs, and her stick like legs.

Definitely some body positivity, and comfort from S/O who lets HuTao know just how loved and adored she is.

You were going to be out late that night, and Hu Tao wanted to surprise you.

She had pulled so many pranks on you in the past that you were getting used to her tricks, and she had to think long and hard about how to really shock you when you come home.

Suddenly, she had an epiphany.

A playful prank, something that would get the perfect flustered reaction out of you. You were so cute with your mouth slightly hanging open and that look of surprise in your eyes… she couldn’t resist.

She put on one of your shirts that was long enough to almost pass as a dress on her small frame and draped herself over a chair, waiting to surprise you.

She inspected herself in her boredom, at first admiring how your shirt looked on her.

Then… something unexpected began to happen. Her features started to appear differently as she thought. The shirt made her chest look even more small than usual, and her exposed legs looked skinny and sticklike.

A lack of cheer was unusual for someone such as Hu Tao, but she quickly felt her excitement draining away, replaced by something darker.

She pulled her knees up, hugging them to her chest. Just as she started to feel tears stinging her eyes, she heard the door open.

Before she could collect herself, you were in the room. You saw her wiping at her eyes and were quick to ask what was wrong.

“Nothing,” she sniffled. “I just… was going to surprise you, but I don’t look very good in your clothes.” She tried to chuckle, but it was halfhearted.

“Oh, darling… you look wonderful in them. Beautiful.” You crossed the room to gather her into your arms, hugging her tightly. “Don’t ever think you’re not beautiful…”

She clings onto you tightly that night, characteristic smile quickly returning.
