i saw it was ur birthday @solamber and decided to write u smth a little small !!! i hope u like mwah !!!
summary: a strange gift is left on your desk; just who could be the mystery sender? (genshin impact scaramouche, yanfei, xiao, & hu tao x reader)
scaramouche:
the box is crudely wrapped; the blue wrapping paper crinkled and ripped like whoever was gifting it was doing so on a deadline. your first instinct is that this is a package that was dropped off of a mail cart, but upon seeing your name written plainly on the tag outside, your curiosity is piqued.
inside is a folded piece of parchment, the wax seal keeping it closed could belong to none other but the balladeer. the box inside contains more parchment, these wrapped up more carefully. upon inspection, they're music sheets, compositions for lyre song that you suspect was written by scaramouche himself.
the note written to you reads; "celebrating one's day of birth is something for sentimental fools... but it has been a long while since i have last seen you, and felt this would be the best time to check and see if you're still alive. i know you must miss me so, but trust that in time, we will be reunited. if you're lucky, i may even play that song for you."
underneath the smudged ink at the bottom reads: "don't get too cocky knowing i wrote this song for you... you just so happen to be the only person i can stand. and i don't wish to owe you one from you giving me a gift on my birthday last year so ...happy birthday".
yanfei:
perfect would be too lax a word to describe just how beautifully decorated that box that sits in front of you is. the wrapping is a rose gold, golden and pastel pink bows tied neatly around its sides. it's symmetrical all around, and that alone clues you in as to who is the gifter of your birthday present. fresh silk lilies sit cut in a vase beside it, no doubt an extra gift from your favorite lawyer.
it almost feels criminal to open it, but eventually you do, and find a card on honey yellow paper sitting on top of another box of the same color.
the card reads; "happy birthday! i can't believe it has been a year that i've spent with you. each and every day i am with you is far too short, which is why tomorrow i've taken off of work so we can do something extra special, all-day long together. i love you! so, so much! and hope you like your gift. here's to many, many more birthdays spent together!"
inside the box is a beautifully ornate memories book, each page filled with pictures from your dates together. the lantern festival, the moonchase festival, your first and most recent dates — everything was recorded visually. along with little notes about yanfei's most memorable moment from each day, or pressed flowers that you had gifted her sealed within the pages. you could see how deep her affections ran with each and every word.
xiao:
there is no wrapping, and instead the gift lays out on your desk in the open, a piece of paper folded unevenly sitting beside it. a fresh cut of qingxin flowers tied up with twine. those flowers were notoriously hard to find; did he spend all morning gathering these up before delivering them to you? or was hopping across mountaintops easy work for an adeptus?
it was obvious by the messy scrawled handwriting that it was xiao's gift. the note reads; "i hope you like the small gift i got for you. i know mortal's birthdays are a big deal to them, so i thought you might like something like this... anyways, if you would like to see me simply call out my name. anytime, anywhere i will be there for you." and then, much messier, scratched out at the bottom reads: "this may seem like a selfish request but... if we could dance in the light of the fireflies tonight, together... i feel that would be... never mind."
underneath the note lay a small hairpin, shaped like a butterfly in beautiful turquoise and purple. he put a lot of thought into making you happy.
hu tao:
you know what hu tao's gift boxes look like. she often likes pranking you by putting lizards or frogs inside of them and leaving them at your doorstep. but this time the wrapping is more fun, more colorful; and there are no air holes poked into the top. it is a plain paper box with doodles all over it — mostly comprising of you and her holding hands, along with some of her ghost friends. it makes a smile grow on your face.
taking off the top of the box, inside are a whole bunch of knick-knacks; pretty crystals and wildflowers surrounding the center wherein lays paper dolls of the two of you, holding hands like on the outside of the box. underneath is a hand-knitted sweater, a cute ghost embroidered on each of the sleeve ends, and stitching on the chest that reads "HU TAO WANTS ME, SPIRITS FEAR ME". what would a gift from hu tao be if not a bit embarrassing.
"happy, happy, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! hehe, i hope you like your gift, i promise it's not cursed or anything — i actually made it with lots and lots of love! i'm glad i've gotten to see you grow in this coming year. no matter where you go, your favorite boo tao will be with you! so let's enjoy the time we have together, until we die!"
characters; Kazuha, Thoma, Scaramouche, Ayaka, Kokomi, Hu Tao
Kazuha
His heart goes crazy when you remember his flowery musings. Usually, people would forget his haikus and pass them off as just wierd mutterings, but hearing you tell him that the mountains of liyue reminded you of that one haiku that even he had forgotten weeks ago, made him feel appreciated and more encouraged to make even more haikus, just for you.
Thoma
When you make him food after a hard day's work. You might only think of it as a way to reward him for working all day, but the taste of your cooking every once in a while never fails to make him feel like a child getting his favourite food for lunch. The fact that you had gotten him this giddy feels like a mystery to him. He might as well put a ring on your finger to get your homemade food everyday.
Scaramouche
You always staying calm despite his rough attitude really gets him sometimes. Although you're quite a patient person, you also aren't afraid to talk back when he goes too far. The thought of you being his so-called 'anchor' makes him feel weak, but he knows that it wasn't your intention, and it's that you simply just cared for him. And he's grateful for that. Huh? No he's not blushing...!
Ayaka
The happiness on her face when you bring her trinkets from all around teyvat is visible to anyone in the room. But the moment you leave the Kamisato quarters, her face will redden deliberately by each passing second. These gifts are hard evidence that you constantly thought about her during your journey. This will get her rolling in her bed at night, for sure.
Kokomi
Hearing your soothing voice while you read out her favourite books outloud while she's resting is one of her most favourite moments shared with you. Seeing you do the tedious task of reading just for her makes her very happy indeed. She'd faint out of embarrassment if you ever find out about how obsessed she is with you though.
Hu Tao
She really loves it when you smile, especially when it's because of her. She makes it her daily goal to make you laugh with her giddiness. Whether it'd be jokes or pranks, as long as she gets to hear your melodic laughter, nothing else matters. She just can't get enough of the feeling of her fluttering heart. It's very addicting, she thinks. Just like you. *wink wink*

love train!! send this to all the people who deserve love!! don't forget to spread the love! 🖤(◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
Hello! If it isn’t too much to ask for, may I request just general Ayaka comforting the reader hcs? :’)) I haven’t been feeling the best lately but your writing always brightens my mood!!
— ⚡️ AYAKA COMFORTING THE READER
includes — ayaka
warnings — pre 2.0 release
pronouns — they/them
note — hey anon! sorry this took me so long to get to, but i hope that you’re feeling better as of now <3
ayaka is an absolute queen at comforting/helping people — so if you ever need to be consoled or helped with anything, go to ayaka :)
now ayaka seems like the type to comfort people physically and verbally — while she rubs circles on your back with light hands, she’ll also whisper words of encouragement, understanding, and trust
she never brings her own problems into the situation like others may — instead of bringing up her own problems that could be compared to your own, she instead chooses to put herself in your shoes and try and help you find a solution that way
ayaka would (and you cannot convince me otherwise) neglect work — as long as it was not super super important — and just spend the day with you
she’d love to visit the more serene and calming places of inazuma because she knows that watching the leaves fall, the birds chirp, or the waves slosh against each other can help calm the entire body
overall, ayaka is very in tune with the people’s emotions who are around her — which makes her an amazing person to turn to in times of need

May I request, Beidou, Hu Tao, and Yoimiya with an inazuman s/o that had their vision taken away?
Characters: Beidou, Hu Tao, Yoimiya
Warnings: None
A/n: ah yes- I had to go back through the transcipts of the story quests cause I highkey spammed through the three ppl who lost their visions part
• You travelled with Beidou frequently, rarely you would rest in Inazuma alone. This time in particular, you regretted sitting out- you had been prosecuted in Ritou and your vision striped away.
• You wanted to tell Beidou immediately, run into her strong arms and stay there. But you could already feel your memories phasing in and out.
• It took a week for Beidou to travel back to Inazuma, only to be greeted by someone who was only a shell of who you once were. She was far too late, only the absolute ending of the Vision Hunt Decree would bring you back.
Beidou arrived on the dock of Ritou, she expected you to be the first to greet her nice and loudly. Instead, you stood shyly behind Thoma as he informed her of the unfortunate situation of your vision being stolen. He let her know that you were being taken care of by the Yashiro Commission as a personal favor to Beidou.
Although Beidou was mentally a ball of rage, physically she knew she couldn't explode. She tried reaching out for you, but you were apprehensive of the strange woman. “Do you remember me?” she asked like she was addressing a scared child.
“No,” you shook your head. For some reason, this woman didn't ring a bell, but your heart yearned for her, beating a mile a minute. “I'm sorry if you meant a lot to me. I've tried my best to recall anything about myself but it's just a blur.”
Ouch, those words stung Beidou like a thousand bees. But she knew from your blunt attitude you were still somewhere inside that thick skull of yours. Something about it comforted her even in the given situation.
“It's alright. For my sake please treat me with some familiarity, it will take me a while to adjust to this,” she said. You would've said no to anybody else, but something about her drew you to her.
• You got stuck in Inazuma till further notice after your intended quick trip, often exchanging letters with your lover in Liyue. One fateful afternoon the Tenryou Commission heard rumors of your vision, and they took it away for good.
• You sent a quick letter to Hu Tao before you forgot everything. It contained what had happened, and how you wouldn't be able to contact her until the Vision Hunt Decree was abolished.
• Hu Tao would fight the daily impulse to travel to Inazuma with Beidou. But her Funeral Parlor duties were far too consuming. She would lust over you in her poems, wishing you were back in Liyue with her.
You received a letter from Liyue, a strange woman named Hu Tao had signed it with a ghostly heart. You remembered barely anything of your past obligations, everything felt dull and numb. The only thing you had to go off of was a pile of letters from the same girl, but none made any sense. You thought maybe this ‘Hu Tao’ girl would spark some sense.
Opening the letter read, “When I had heard your vision was confiscated, my heart sunk.” A vision being confiscated? You questioned. “I miss you so much and all I have are these spare letters in hopes that one day you’ll return to me in Liyue.”
She talked very familiarly with you, something about it was fishy. You wondered what your past relationship with this girl was, and why she was so fond of you.
“I send these love letters that it might jog a memory or two. You could ignore them or you could reply, whatever is fine. I just pray you won’t forget me forever. I love you.”
Now that you thought about it, this letter in comparison to the others from Hu Tao was very serious. She seemed upset at your memory loss, almost too upset to be a simple close friend of yours. You anticipated most that one day you would remember her place your life so that you could reply to her letters properly.
• Yoimiya tried her best to hide your vision, creating fakes, hiding you, anything. But her best wasn't enough, as one unsuspecting day the Tenryou Commission confiscated it even without a permit.
• You had to prevent Yoimiya from acting on impulse while you still retained your memories. She thought she could just storm in and take it back, but you didn't want to risk her life for your sake.
• Yoimiya would take care of you well, even if you didn't remember her at all. The only reason why she wouldn't personally go in to reclaim your vision was that she made a promise to you that she would refrain.
You wondered how you had gotten to where you were. Such a beautiful girl always took care of you, never took advantage of you, or injured you. Her warmth was so prominent that it almost brought tears to your eyes how generous this daughter was.
You felt guilty that you couldn't remember her, she would try daily to get you to remember something of your past. You could tell through context clues that she was your lover, but that was about all youd gotten out of her visits. Each day you could tell it wore on her mentality.
She would speak of stories and adventures you've had together, even recreating the fireworks you've had your core memories under. But seeing as how it never worked she grew silent and her visits were less frequent. “Yoimiya, can you tell me a story how we fell in love?” you asked the next time she brought you dinner.
Her eyes lit up, “really?” you've never asked for a story before. “Sure I'll tell you. It's a long story though, are you sure you're willing to bear with it? Sometimes I feel I bore you constantly.”
“I’m confident. There might never be a day that get my vision back, so I might never get my memories back. Even though I can't remember you Yoimiya... I'm already falling in love with you all over again.” she blushed a little, butterflies gathered in her stomach for the first time since you've lost everything.
prompt: you've left hu tao for kaedehara kazuha. those around her are concerned with the drastic changes in her personality, yet hu tao doesn't care about anyone's opinions of her besides you. pairing: hu tao x gn!reader cw: angst. death mentions bc it's hu tao but no major character death. wc: ~2.1k words a/n: written SPECIFICALLY for @starglitterz (and also because i really like this idea and haven't written anything for her before). hope u enjoy this when u wake up! im a menace for a 2k word long sabotage, i know
it's funny what can bring two people together.
zhongli, who despised hu tao, now stands beside her. he serves not as a consultant but rather as a friend. his advice is sage and his words are kind, but sometimes, hu tao wishes he still looked at her with disgust. it would be better than the pity that's in his eyes. he's made it his own agenda to tag along with her on her lunch breaks. besides, if he didn't follow her around, it would mean you were still with her. she'd much rather have you than zhongli.
it's the sixth lunch visit where the awkward situation turns even more suffocating.
"overseer," zhongli speaks up as she turns to head out. she bites back a groan, yet holds her tongue. her gaze moves over to him, once bright eyes dulled with sadness and apathy. "i am planning to go out to lunch with some friends. would you care to join?"
hu tao, ever compliant, can't find it in herself to decline. potential clients, she reminds herself. but, as she sits down at the wanmin restaurant, she can't help but wonder if this is too big of a client. singular. one other person.
did mr. zhongli bring me here just to third wheel? hu tao thinks.
"hi! i'm tartaglia, eleventh of the fatui harbingers," he extends a hand.
previously, hu tao would have taken it and chirped a kind greeting. all business is good business, right? but now, since you've left, hu tao lacks the ambition that once motivated her. instead, she stares down childe.
"didn't you try to destroy liyue?" she asks. zhongli clears his throat. the smile drops from childe's face briefly before he bursts out into laughter.
"don't you run a funeral parlor? it only would have helped your business," childe laughs. zhongli's gaze returns to its typical neutrality and, with nothing else to say, hu tao takes a seat.
xiangling takes their order. she expects hu tao to say something, anything to prank her, yet it never arrives. hu tao remains sullen and quiet. throughout the lunch, zhongli and childe exchange loving glances. even the wonderful tastes of xiangling's cooking can't cover up the bitter flavor of envy in her mouth at the sight of them.
"so, comrade," childe says callously, turning to look at hu tao. "xiangsheng told me you're going through a breakup."
immediately, alarm bells ring in hu tao's head. zhongli takes a sip of his drink as her gaze narrows, flitting between the two men before her. is this... an intervention? by a snezhnayan? a WAR CRIMINAL? hu tao is mildly aghast. if she was feeling like her usual self, she would have applauded zhongli for thinking of a funnier prank than anything she's ever placed upon him. instead, she feels as if she's sitting before two father figures (both a bit unhinged in their own ways, one more glaringly evil than the other). it's weird. it feels... wrong for someone to care about her in this manner.
wasn't that supposed to be your job? she doesn't want the attention of others, just you.
"he wanted me to offer you some advice," childe says. "i am quite experienced in the romantic field, after all."
hu tao doubts that last part.
"but, i have no advice to give! instead, i have a service to offer. we'll both benefit. give me the name of those who have wronged you and i'll personally eliminate them myself! i owe zhongli a favor, so-" childe begins, but zhongli cuts him off with a harsh glare.
"you have broken enough of liyue's laws, childe," he chastises. childe is unperturbed.
"aw, i guess zhongli had to ruin the fun," childe huffs. "but anyways, if you want me to kill your ex-"
"no," hu tao says. she's withdrawing into herself. none of the usual mirth of this conversation gets through to her. instead, she stands up.
"thank you for lunch, but i have to return to work."
she walks away from the two, despite zhongli calling out after her.
---
hu tao doesn't return to work. instead, she walks to the coast of liyue harbor and sits down on the edge of the piers. the scent of the ocean is calming and the bustling noises of trade are familiar to her. here, in this secluded spot, she can be away from the pitying eyes. she knows she's changed. she no longer pranks others. her joyous tunes of poetry no longer erupt from her.
instead, she hums a familiar tune to herself. it's the cadence of the poem she used to tell you all the time.
hu tao has experienced death and loss before, but nothing has ever hurt quite this badly. perhaps it's knowing that she could have kept you if she was more careful that eats away at her. you are all she wants, yet you look at her as if you see through her. the two of you haven't spoken in weeks, yet the pain doesn't ease.
hu tao half-expects a red string to be tied around her finger when she looks down. she knows it would lead her to you. would yours lead to her? probably not. that's why you left her for the other poet, one filled with mystery and intrigue. kaedehara kazuha, a ronin from inazuma. he's valiant, standing up against the raiden shogun at the cost of everything he's known. hu tao stays in one place, performing the same tasks over and over. but him? he can provide you the adventure you always wanted.
hu tao laughs to herself. it's short and it's sweet and she's a bit embarrassed to have done so, yet she's more embarrassed as to why she laughs.
for the first time since the breakup, the first thing she's found to be funny is the realization that you never really loved her. there's no way. if you loved her, you would be hurting in the same way she is. she's changed and you haven't. you're probably making out with the stupid kazuha dude or whatever while she mopes over you.
it makes the pain within her feel so much worse.
she snaps out of her wallowing thoughts as she hears footsteps on the pier. she straightens her posture and corrects her expression to be one of neutrality as she stares out onto the water. yet, rather than turning away as one usually does when approaching the dead end of the pier that hu tao is sitting on, the footsteps approach her.
"hu tao?" a familiar voice asks. icy adrenaline shoots through hu tao's veins at the realization that the person approaching her is you. hu tao's gaze snaps up to meet yours. you look at her with a furrowed brow. in your eyes is the same pity that she always sees in everyone else's.
she hates it.
"hiya, sweethe- (y/n)." hu tao catches herself. you seem nonplussed by her mistake.
"your consultant... zhongli, was it? he told me you weren't feeling well and disappeared off to some place. he sounded pretty concerned," you say. hu tao wants to scream. zhongli sent you here? she has half a mind to fire him, but if her suspicions about him being an adeptus (or something greater) are true, then she can't afford being smited or whatever it is immortals do when you wrong them.
"aiya, i'm not feeling too well, but no need to worry about me!" hu tao chirps. you fail to see through her forced cheery facade, yet you sit down next to her anyways.
"you're looking rather flushed," you comment. "do you have a fever?"
before hu tao can stop you, you brush her bangs away and lay the back of your palm against her forehead to check. she can feel her face flush with heat at the gesture. your eyes focus on her and hu tao feels the familiar feeling of tears at the back of her eyes. she wants you to touch her like this forever. treat her with the kindness that only feels genuine when it comes from you.
"jeez, tao, you're burning up!" you state. "you shouldn't be out at the pier. c'mon, i'll take you home."
you, never one to take no for an answer, scramble up before tugging on her arm. despite her being just fine to walk and certainly not feverish (just in love, even if you've moved on), you loop her arm around her shoulder, making her lean on you as you walk. she hopes the close proximity doesn't give away the rapid beating of her heart.
"so, how has your day been?" you ask nonchalantly as you guide her back to her home. you know where it is. you've been there hundreds of times before. "besides the sickness, of course."
"mr. zhongli introduced me to one of his friends. quite a weird dude, but hey, new clients are never bad, right? he seems like he'd be easy to prank," hu tao rambles a bit with her words, but you don't seem to mind. instead, you laugh easily.
"is that so? you do love pranks," you muse. no, i love you, hu tao wants to correct, but holds her tongue. "xiangling tells me you haven't been pranking her recently, though."
"oh?" hu tao says, as if it's a surprise. "work always comes first and i have been busy recently, but perhaps a surprise is in store for her."
it's a lie. she knows it, but you don't. there's no point in pranking people, not when her thoughts are constantly plagued with you and the loss of love. in this little moment, she can pretend that the two of you are still together, that this interaction wasn't forced upon her by someone overstepping their boundaries. she yearns for you, yet you no longer want her. silence falls between the two of you after you hum an acknowledgment to your words.
"tao," you begin as you approach her front door. "there's something i need to tell you."
"oh yeah?" hu tao asks, forcing her tone to remain even as she opens up the front door and turns to face you. despite wanting to let you in, a part of her knows better than to extend the invitation. you'd only reject it, after all. you look away from her.
"i'm... sorry. i shouldn't have... left you like that," you say. "it was unfair to you."
hu tao holds her breath. is this what she's been waiting for? for you to come back? but wait, why does it feel so... wrong?
"i realize that um... you deserve better than me," you say. "which is why..."
you trail off. this isn't how this is supposed to go, hu tao thinks, but her throat is dry. she swallows thickly. tears begin to well in her eyes and threaten to spill out as you think over your words.
"hey, don't beat yourself up over such a silly little th-" hu tao begins, but your gaze returns to her with fiery resolution in your eyes.
"i'm leaving with the crux fleet tomorrow. the ship departs tomorrow. you won't have to worry about me anymore. i've made my bed, it's time to lie in it."
hu tao could laugh at your choice of words, but instead, she stares at you with wide eyes. she blinks. leaving..? the crux..?
"it's a hasty decision but... kazuha said that when the time is right, we should get married," you say. hu tao feels as if everything is passing her at too fast of a rate. "so i'm going with him."
"oh. congratulations!" hu tao says. her voice is wobbly. you smile, tears welling up in your own eyes.
"i'm sorry, darling," you say. hu tao feels something in her snap at the pet name. she takes a step back, further into the safety of her house.
"i'm happy for you, (y/n)," hu tao lies. "but please, never call me that again."
the funeral parlor overseer doesn't know what comes over her. she closes the door in your face before you can respond. she lets out a shaky breath as she hears your footsteps as you walk away from the entryway.
leaving... tomorrow... kazuha... married?
a choked sob escapes hu tao. why not her? why him? she doesn't understand and, all alone in the home the two of you once shared, hu tao breaks down sobbing, begging for someone, anyone to change the tides of fate that she cannot.

“[Name]” Ganyu called out, as she approached you. Her hands intertwined with each other and in front of her legs as she walked to you. You cannot help but smile after hearing her gentle voice.
“Evening, Ganyu” you greet her with a wave as she now stands by your side. She cannot help but blush slightly.
“I’ve kinda been wanting to tell you something” she started off soothing and kind. You nod your head.
You weren’t sure what she was going to say. It did build some adrenaline, in you because you got nervous. What if she was upset or had horrible news to bring to you?
“Yeah, go ahead” you let out a nervous chuckle into your hand.
Ganyu let out a sigh as you watch her face bloom red. Her face becoming pink, while she plays with a strand of her short hair.
“I-I have been wanting to say. That I have gained romantic feelings… for you. [Name]” She finally said, each word leaving her voice slowly.
You turn to face her to see slight water at her eyes. Your heart started to pound extremely fast and you cannot help but get flustered as well. The both of you now a big shy mess.
“I’m sorry, this seems extremely… sudden.” Ganyu started as she lowered her head, but before she could turn and walk away. Without a thought in mind, you quickly press your lips onto hers. Quickly, as she finds herself blushing even more.
Her lips were soft, and warm.
So warm. Unlike her vision.
Best daily writer!!NOT CLICKBAIT!! How about Eula and Hu Tao imagine where gn!reader rejects them😎💔
Characters: Eula, Hu Tao
Warning: none
a/n: thank you <3 Writing so much Hu tao rejection recently actually breaks my heart too ahhh
• Eula met you first in the tavern, she couldn’t take her eyes off of you. To her, you were an anomaly. Someone like her could never truly stray from her aristocratic nature, so you were a breath of fresh air.
• Eula became friends with you and had a very unusual attitude towards you. She would try and sway you towards her romantically with her words and drop flirtatious hints. You would notice them but you just thought it was her personality.
• The night she confessed was at the same tavern she met you at, the alcohol giving her a surplus of confidence. You were Eula’s safety net and your duty was to take her home at the end of the night, so you remained sober.
You were taking Eula home, her body slumped around yours as you supported the drunken woman. You decided enough was enough when her speech was slurred and she was phasing in and out of consciousness. “You know, hic... as a part of the Lawrence clan. My father was never really kind to me.”
You knew that Eula never got emotional around you unless she was intoxicated. “He would fire all the nannies that I grew attached to because they were not beneficial network sources,” Eula stopped in her tracks, you couldn’t force her to continue walking. “Besides Master Jean and Amber, you were the first I’ve allowed my heart to truly open to.”
She moved her body closer to yours, despite having such an icy cold persona her body emitted the most comforting warmth to you. She stared directly into your eyes, her face stressed with glossy eyes. “I must admit I like you. It’s more than a like that I can describe. I like Amber, but I like you marginally more, can you explain to me what this heartache is whenever I see you?”
You wanted to pretend you didn’t hear what she said. Eula Lawrence? Liking you? You were in disbelief. It’s not that you didn’t like her, did you like her the same way she liked you? You never gave it a second thought, let alone consider yourself on the same plane as her.
Not to mention she was far too drunk to understand her own words. You prayed she wouldn’t remember this night like many nights before so she wouldn’t seek you out for vengeance. You convinced yourself what she said wasn’t real. “I’m sorry Eula.” That was all you could say before mustering the strength to drag her body to her house.
You swore you felt Eula’s body upon yours tremble- not from the cold, but from your unresponsiveness. Even though drunk, she couldn’t drop her pride.
• Hu Tao first met you on one of her advertising expeditions around Liyue. Your address was last on her list after having the door slammed in her face a multitude of times. Although you rejected her, unlike the rest, you were kind and gentle with her.
• You would’ve never guessed Hu Tao had a crush on you in a million years. You were frequently visited by her to the point where you would consider her a friend over an acquaintance. She would knock on your door constantly and give you little gadgets from the funeral parlor or pull little pranks on you.
• Hu Tao confessed to you 100% on an impulse. She just randomly had an overwhelming surge of emotion for you, she wouldn’t know what to do if she didn’t tell you right then and there. She didn’t even think about how you might respond.
Since Hu Tao kind of had a screw loose she would end up regretting spilling her emotions out to you. She had a rough day admittedly, seeking you for comfort she knocked on your door, once... twice, no answer. With an audible sigh, she turned around to find you approaching your porch with an arm full of groceries.
“Hu Tao! Pleasant to see you drop by. It’s been a while hasn’t it?” And there you were, her knight in shining armor. You were always there whether you knew it or not to shine such a warm kindness when everyone else wasn’t. “So how’s business at the Funeral Parlor treating you? I’ll purchase a couple of trinkets to keep business running if need be.”
She ran at a full sprint to greet you excitedly. Her sudden disappointment turning into excitement was too much for her little heart to handle, it felt like she was going to explode. She ran so fast you swore you saw little yellow butterflies appear behind her. She knocked you over with a bear hug along with all your wrapped vegetables and meats.
“IthinkIlikeyou,” She eeped super duper fast. So fast, you didn’t think you heard her correctly so you asked her to repeat herself. “I said- I think I like you.” She was more confident in her confession, but you weren’t.
You stared at her with wide eyes, Hu Tao liking you? This girl who you so fatefully accepted one night and was so ambitiously quirky. You were in denial, you always looked up to her with respect. But you couldn’t translate that respect into love, more like admiration of her courage. “I’m sorry Hu Tao... I don’t think I see you in that way,” you said at a low mumble, loud enough for Hu Tao to hear your response.
She scurried off of you before dusting herself off, now allowing you to see her face. “Pretend I didn’t say that... please. I’ll let you go now, see ya later~,” Although her words were bubbly, you could tell the aching behind them.
Can I request [name] complimenting Fischl and Chongyun's eyes? i barely see content for those two 😔
A/N: This is adorable-
I’ve been staring at this for five hours now.
~.~ ~.~
💫Fischl💫
• Fischl was very stunned to say the least.
• She’s not used to being complimented.
• Actually, she is quite insecure about her physical appearance, hence her getup.
• No longer were you complimenting Fischl, Prinzessin der Verurteilung, you were complimenting her true self, Amy.
• It knocks her out of her persona for a bit.
• The accent drops and she lets down her walls.
• Even if it was just for a moment.
• But as quick as those walls came down, she put them right back up again.
• Fischl clears her throat and adjusts her bow before saying,
• “Mein liebling, such words of endearment do not cross me that often. And yet, even I, the Prinzessin der Verurteilung, am quite charmed by your advances.”
• She loves you, you fool.
❄️Chongyun❄️
• Blushy baby 🥺
• Chongyun.exe has stopped responding.
• He literally freezes in place, eyes glued to you.
• Without thinking, he replies, “You too!”
• Gosh that sounded awkward.
• Wait no!
• This won’t work!
• In Chongyun’s mind, you deserve something way more sincere than just a simple, “You too!”.
• You went out of your way to compliment him! He must repay you!
• “I er, I apologize Y/N. That was awfully childish of me. What I actually wanted to say was that I think your necklace suites you amazingly!”
• That or any small detail that he’s able to recognize he will compliment you on.
• Chongyun thinks about this moment for months to come.
• Despite how awkward it was.
(P.S. I hope the small bit of German in Fischl’s part was used correctly! I did my research and I *think* it’s grammatically correct, but I do not speak German so I’m not 100% on that :,) )
