A short comic sketch of a scene in Heir of Fire between Rowan and Aelin. I saw some chocolate cake in the fridge and was suddenly reminded of this haha. I don’t know about you guys but I somehow always forget Rowan used to have long hair until after Heir of Fire.

I just got back from taking the covid test. It was so weird. Going back to school had to take one. 🤪

Dose this happen to you? Someone asks you to come and do something and then you tell them to wait a second and let you finish your chapter. Instead of just finishing the chapter you read like five. Well when that happens the person usually gets annoyed and has to come take the book away. For me it doesn’t end there. After they take my book away it feels like my life is falling to peaces so the person has to basically drag me out of my reading spot.

Aelin looped her arm through his. “I’m going to start a rumor about you, then. Something truly grotesque.”
He groaned. “I dread the thought of what you might come up with.”
She adopted the harsh whisper as they passed a group of human soldiers.
“You flew back onto the battlefield to peck out the eyes of our enemies? “ Her gasp echoed off the rocks. “And ate those eyes?”
One of the soldiers tripped, the others whipping their heads to them.
Rowan pinched her shoulder. “Thank you for that.”
