Does anyone know how many times Zane actually "died"? I counted 5, but I feel like there's way more
Plus that one season 1 fake out, but I don't think that counts
Have Jack and Wuya ever helped each other with their makeup? Or is each of them just doing their own makeup at the mirror together as close as they'll get to that?
I think they're both too particular about their make up to trust the other to help, but they give each other advice from time to time. It's their favorite bonding time besides plotting how to take over the world
Honestly if Jaya hadn't been established since day one, I would see all the ninja strictly as siblings. Something about the Brother sharpens Brother thing, and the fact these 6 have basically grown up together and lived under the same roof for years.
Honestly, the only reason I'm comfortable with Lava or Bruise or Opposite or whatever is the fact Jaya exists. If not, instead of the RGB siblings I'd probably be the biggest RGBBBW siblings stan right now.
Ah yes, Kimiko Tohomiko and Blythe Baxter. Growing up, they were the only cartoon characters I knew of that came with a new outfit every single episode. I used to think it was kind of strange back then. I mean most cartoon characters seem to have a single set of clothing and hairstyle, so I really appreciate the design effort that went into this. They didn't have to do it but they did it anyway!

EDIT: Added an outfit I missed from “The Deep Freeze”
Lloyd and Nya's most sibling moment ever
I just watched the first 6 episodes of Ninjago Dragons Rising Season 2 that came out in Germany (I learnt some German as a kid so I understood about half of what they were saying) and I'd like to give just one minor early spoiler.
You know how some of us have been complaining for years that for as much as Lloyd's been traumatized season after season, villain after villain, it doesn't really affect his personality or mental stability all that much? Like for the most part, Lloyd is pretty chill, reasonable, wise even, and that's great. I always liked that about him and watching him grow into this person over the last 10+ years has been nothing short of amazing. I'm seriously so proud of the little green dude, but sometimes I feel like the writers are afraid to really dive into the long lasting effects this kind of trauma would normally have on someone's mental health. Probably since it's a kids show and they think they can't handle this sort of thing, although some kids face some pretty traumatic experiences in real life which really should be acknowledged more.
Anyway, they finally did it, THEY GAVE MY BOY ANXIETY!!! 🥳🎉
Like actual panic attacks, he even calls them that! They usually don't last very long and he can snap out of them relatively quickly, but they are handled pretty well and well integrated into the story.
Also, Nya is Lloyd's emotional support (yay Dragon Siblings), like she's been since Hunted or Sons of Garmadon actually. She's the one Lloyd opens up to the most and she's the first to notice whenever something bothers him.
It can be as subtle as a glance, a smile or a touch on the shoulder, but Nya always knows how to comfort Lloyd, and this just makes me so happy
Anyway, this season's been great so far and I can't wait for the rest of the episodes to come out. Sorry for ranting
Jack: Hey, do you know the password to Kimiko’s computer?
Raimundo: Screw you, Jack.
Jack: Hey!!
Raimundo: No, you misunderstood, the password is “screwyoujack”.
Jack: Oh, no numbers? Not very safe.
Okay, big MLP nerd here, to everyone saying 28 Pranks Later was disproportionate and how their prank traumatized Rainbow Dash, her first prank literally sent Fluttershy into hyperventilation.
And sayings they should have sat her down and have a meaningful conversation, like that's not the first thing they did after the opening credits.
Dash's "harmless" pranks involved intoxicating an old man, breaking a guy's tooth with a brick and potentially killing Big Mac.
And while I admit this one made me laugh, it's still property damage and definitely no way treating your future wife.
While I'm aware not every episode was perfect or every problem had the best solution they could have thought of, there's almost always a process. They usually analyse the situation, then try a bunch of crazy ideas to rule out the bad ones, retrace their steps and if the solution wasn't there all along they come up with a new plan which can be a combination of some of the old ideas or something entirely unexpected.
And while I like RD, sometimes she does actually need to be taught the hard way. She wouldn't listen to reason and people were starting to get hurt. Plus, they sort of had to earn her respect with their prank in order to get her to stop. That's just how Rainbow Dash is. A smaller prank probably wouldn't have gotten her attention and she would have only felt more challenged. They had to best her at her own game.
You might not agree with me, but from what I've seen, and I've been here for a long time, there's usually a logic in MLP.
is it just me or did this happen a lot
