Probably one of my greatest accomplishments during quarantine is pitching the idea to my mom (a teacher) for her school to operate like Japanese schools where the kids stay in one class and teachers rotate when they reopen. I animeified my mom's school
What do you mean WHEN?!
Imagine you get murdered and then some girl uploads a video of herself talking about your death in excruciating detail while doing her makeup :/
I loved so many of the cute animals on vine……
Your worst fucking nightmare
jake gyllenhaal is my favorite celebrity because he’s so goddamn elusive and weird. he’s always in good movies and is a very good actor. he’s also extremely hot. but on the other hand he’s the guy New Yorkers spot wearing a birthday hat at a restaurant and buying ice cream sandwiches in bulk. he’s the guy Taylor swift wrote a near whole album about. and he’s not on any social media so I can’t confront him. honestly who is this man.
Lost in the sauce
everytime zuko goes out he leaves iroh a note that says “gone insane, back later”
Hey I didn't want to take away from all these good additions but I'd like to point out another YA dystopian series where the government is actually bad (essentially I'm answering tanginerinefemme's challenge). The first book is called Legend (series simply named the Legend series), and it's written by Marie Lu (a poc women author)! Legend has a lot cliches in it including a love triangle, although it's not as centralised as other series like twilight. The romance of the story is very prevalent, but it adds to the book because the first mc comes from a poor background and the second mc comes from a rich one.
A basic synopsis of the book, the US has split into two countries and are at war. Day (first mc) is a criminal who goes against the corrupt Republic of America. He becomes the prime suspect when June's (second mc) brother is murdered, and she is sent to find and arrest him. I recently reread them and noticed that the two separate America's each represent an extreme of the current American system. The one that most of the story takes place in is centric to the military, and the other is centralized around capitalism. In general it tackles a lot of issues and has many underlying themes, and it's just a great series, I highly suggest it
not to be all “tw*light did nothing wrong” but misogyny honest to god killed the hunger games
I don’t know how else to describe what you’re gonna see here, it’s just random stuff
