What if, when everything is less fresh, a statue is built at the academy. The statue is of two young men, both facing slightly different directions, but with their heads turned to look up and forward, onto the future. One of the men looks forward in unconcealed hope, hope for the future and what is to come. The other is more revered, but the hunger for knowing the unknown is said to be more intense than the other’s.

Despite everything that had happened, the academy argued that these were the finest students that they ever had the pleasure of teaching. They were both undeniably the Men of Progress, looking to help build a better life, despite what it turned into, in the end. Because in all worlds and all realities, only they could build something up and destroy it together.

I kinda remember the time when me and my sisters watched the last episode of BBC Merlin. We all cried.

And then watched it again the next morning. (It was either because one of us missed it or watched it to let it fully sink in)

I’m ready to see my favorite character go in a downwards spiral and some younglings getting murked….in theater!😃☝️

Lots of thoughts recently. Everything feels plastic.

I could go on and on about why all that AI "art" is bad. I could mention theft, lack of creativity, it's impact on the work field and environment, but countless people have already said all that. I wanted to touch on something that to me is the most utterly wrong about all of it.

Art is more than just something pretty to look at or listen to. It's therapeutic. It's a form of communication. A tool for human connection. It's a pure, human need.
