I saw a meme on my dash but the reblogs were way to long for me to reply... basically you list five things in your room and then people vote on what they'd steal
so here we go!!
reblog and add to this if wanted!!

How old do you guys think Odysseus is? I’m thinking at the beginning he’s 20 something because people did a lot of things younger (marriage, going to war, working) and when he goes back to Ithaca he’s like 40 or so or possibly 50
If you hear someone ugly sobbing that’s me
I kinda remember the time when me and my sisters watched the last episode of BBC Merlin. We all cried.
And then watched it again the next morning. (It was either because one of us missed it or watched it to let it fully sink in)
What if, when everything is less fresh, a statue is built at the academy. The statue is of two young men, both facing slightly different directions, but with their heads turned to look up and forward, onto the future. One of the men looks forward in unconcealed hope, hope for the future and what is to come. The other is more revered, but the hunger for knowing the unknown is said to be more intense than the other’s.
Despite everything that had happened, the academy argued that these were the finest students that they ever had the pleasure of teaching. They were both undeniably the Men of Progress, looking to help build a better life, despite what it turned into, in the end. Because in all worlds and all realities, only they could build something up and destroy it together.
ok so there seems to be some confusion, I am looking for a fic like this on ao3. I forgot the title so that is why I’m asking for help. Apologies for the confusion!
It’s a fic from Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia and it has Trollhunter Claire, and a very magic Jim. Douxie shows up earlier. Jim is not having a fun time, and his magic is being evil/wonky. Jlaire is pretty much already established and I think it has 10 or so chapters.
pleeaaassseeee help!!
I’m convinced that Odysseus (Epic version, though OG version would probably have the same results) would adore Percy if they ever were to meet. It would take a minute (since Percy’s dad screwed Ody over) but Odysseus would be like: “I love this sassy child.” and he would like Annabeth even MORE because smarts.
Penelope would bake them cookies or something because if Odysseus is immortal (or something) of course his wifey is immortal too
I WAS FUCKING RIGHT
I like to think that in somewhere in “Ruthlessness,” Poseidon gets a glimpse of how scary our boy Ody can be. Because at that moment, Poseidon is threatening his ability to go home and he’s do anything to get home, he later learns. So Ody is scared but also angry
Poseidon is in the middle of threatening Odysseus (or maybe after he kills his crew) and he catches a sliver of the man who dropped an infant because Zeus told him too and he would be able to go home. He sees a man who’s ready to get anything out of his way to get his and his crew home (yes, this is before his crew turns stupid and he ditched them) and then, it’s gone. And Poseidon thinks he must’ve imagined it.
Then in the later saga, Poseidon sees a totally different man than early because this man has no crew left to take home, has accepted that he is a monster, and has gone through pretty shitty things. BUT he is definitely more scary so Poseidon is secretly shaking in his flippers
(I have more thoughts but it’s late and I’ll just remember to add on later)
Edit: I just want people to be scared of Odysseus, not his fam or good subjects, but the bad people 😁
watching secret of the wings after wings of starlight and seeing lord milori looking at periwinkle with such sympathy because he knows the pain, physical and emotional, of crossing the border for too long because he, too, desperately wanted to spend time with a warm fairy
