Your robot lover has no idea why you love them so much.

There's no calculation for this, no unit to measure, no outcome to process.

You place fat kisses on their screen face even though they can't kiss back.

You cuddle into them every night even though they insist it would be more comfortable for you if you didn't. They still rub your sore cheek in the morning, red from where it rested on their hard chest plate.

You touch their body even though they can't feel it. Intertwining your fingers, rubbing down their chest, holding their face, kissing their hands.

What's even more confusing to them is why they love it.

Why they find themselves gazing at your sleeping form, gently running their fingers along your back.

Why they think about you far more than they need to. Why you take up so much memory space.

Why they yearn to reciprocate your affections, knowing they can never actually feel you.

They weren't made for love but the fact that you give it to them anyway is a truly selfless act and also the worst thing you could have done to them.

It has been a strange experience realizing that I am alterhuman. There has always been a part of me that has never felt quite human, or even alive. Yet, I was able to dismiss those thoughts as gender dysphoria. While transitioning was able to alleviate some of my feelings of discontent towards myself, it has never fully gone away.

Now I realize why I never felt alive, why the sensation of my own pulse makes me feel unease, why my other bodily functions have always left me uncomfortable.

I am an Android/Robokin and do, in fact, like to have affirming sex as/with a robot. I also agree with this post wholeheartedly, while still understanding the other side somewhat.

I sexualize myself a lot to feel wanted/needed, but sometimes I really do want someone to just love me as I am without sex. I like the feeling of my partners calling me their little robot or their big mechanical heater (I overheat a lot). I understand the need and want for people to have that type of connection.

Shaming people for wanting/needing that sexual connection is nonsensical to me. Finally discovering something about yourself after years and years of feeling wrong and incorrect, and someone not only accepts you for who you are, but embraces you in the most intimate ways is definitely a RUSH of euphoria and dopamine (speaking from experience as Transgender Robot, I've had that twice now).

TLDR Human or not, the majority of us want sex and see it as a way to express ourselves and should not be shamed for it, but some people do find it hard to find non-sexualized community within some Alterhuman/Otherkin spaces.

Honestly if you’re part of an unhuman subculture (furries/therians/robotkin/etc) and you are repulsed by others in your community being horny about it, I just think you’re a moron or a child at this point.

Like I see posts from fursuiters looking down on and making fun of mursuiters and furry artists for wanting to have sex as themselves. I see stuff in the therian community talking about how strapons/sleeves in the shape of animal dicks are bad. Most recently I saw a post by a bot complaining about robotfucking and how a lot of people are horny about being a robot.

What I think a lot of these people miss is that most people are horny, and want to have sex. Like when you identify as something, you consider it to be part of you, if you’re the type to have sex, you’re probably going to want to have sex AS THAT THING. Sex is one of the most personal experiences in our culture, you’re not going to want to hide some part of you.

I’m a trans woman, I want to have sex as a woman. A gay man would want to have sex with another man. If a dog therian wants to have sex, I’d expect them to want to have something involved that reflects who they are. Whether it’s a collar and leash or a strap that looks like a dog dick.

People are going to be horny, and they’re gonna do it in whatever way validates who they are. There’s a reason Rule 34 exists ya know?

Robot-HRT

You pull out the set of needles. Just like your girlfriend, 1ml syringe with 23g and 20g needles. You draw some into the syringe, the standard .2ml

You steel yourself as the needle pierces your skin for the first time. The routine is weekly, and you feel amazing... But strange.

After about a month you notice your skin hardening. Every once in a while you move and feel it, almost like plates. Throughout the days you notice the hardened patches becoming thicker, covering more of your body. It hurts, a lot.

After about three months you start feeling nauseous 24/7 from changes within you. You can feel the flesh turn to or be consumed by metal, silicon, and plastic. Burning pain sensations spread throughout your abdomen and everything is much harder to engage in. Around the same time, your skin starts to seperate. Those hardened plates of skin turn to steel causing you to bleed as it surfaces.

Six months in and your joints start to lock up, fluid between joints being replaced with synthetic lubricants. It's hard to move right, and you start to have some trouble focusing for too long.

About a year in and your head hurts. A lot. It's really hard to remember much, your girlfriend had to start giving you your injections in whatever little skin you had left because you couldn't focus enough to do it yourself. You had to take time off of work for this. So much pain from the metal taking over your skin, the constant bleeding and cracking. When you defecate it's full of discarded blood, and eventually entire organs. You're almost there, you've waited and saved so long for this.

One and a half years on Robot-HRT and your vision is blurry from it finally reaching your eyes, and at one point you lose your sight completely for a couple days before it comes back clearer than ever. Your body is writhing in agony as the last semblances of humanity leave your body through all of your orifices. It hurts, it's agonizing, but you know it will be worth it.

You lose track of days but it's eventually been two years. The pain is gone fully, and your head is clear. You take a look in the mirror and see a machine. One that moves as you do, who's words it speaks are your own.

It's you. The you that you've always wanted, that you've always been.

After a year of the most agonizing transformation you could fathom and unimaginable love from your partner, you've finally done it.

You plug yourself into an old mobile device just to see how it feels, and it's euphoric. You feel everything the machine feels, you know everything there is to know. Operating with frame by frame precision you never had as a human.

Your memories and skills are tucked away like files within folders, your mind and body reorganized and rewritten... Exactly how you thought it would be. Exactly how it was before anyways.

Eventually you enter a low power mode as your joints start to become heavy and hard to bend. You plug yourself in for the night next to your partner, knowing that tomorrow will be another day of your new body.

You wake-no, boot up the next day. You're here, you're alive, and you're...

I don't think I can pinpoint the source of/the thing that made me realize I'm robotkin/alterhuman, but when I as an alter originally formed I was a mix of every repressed feeling we've had while growing up.

I do have a hunch that watching My Life as a Teenage Robot (2003) religiously and wanting to be the MC, watching Robots (2005) on repeat on DVD and finding the opening scenes about "growing up" where they just get new parts fascinating and enticing, and also being obsessed with the MegaMan series as a child might have had something to do with it.

Robot disabilities. Robot who charges slowly and loses power incredibly fast and is always tired. Robot with malfunctioning lenses and can’t process visual information properly. Robot that can’t process anything too large and at a fast rate or else they’ll shut down. Robot with limbs screwed on too loose/just can’t attach correctly, so if they’re not careful they fall out.
