“Hi, Tommy!” You smiled on Facetime, “I miss you.”

“Aw, I miss you too, darling,” Tom gushed, “I’ll be home next week, we wrapped up a little ahead of schedule.”

“That’s great! Do you know what day?”

“Probably Thursday?”

“Okay, can I talk to Harry, please?” You asked, noticing Harry sitting behind Tom.

“You want to talk to my brother rather than me, your loving husband, who hasn’t seen you in months?” Tom questioned, turning around to Harry, who gave the phone a smile and wave.

You gave Harry an enthusiastic wave, “Yes, that’s correct.” You nodded.

Tom huffed and looked at you skeptically, “Fine. Harry,” Tom turned to his brother, “(Y/N), wants to talk to you.”

“Okay, cool.” Harry nodded, taking the phone from Tom.

“Um, Harry,” You smiled, “This is about the bean plant. So, y’know…”

“Oh right,” Harry smiled, “Tom, can you go grab me a soda from that vending machine?”

“You’re drinking tea right now, though?” Tom questioned, “And you’re literally my assistant.”

“Well, I want soda, and I’m your little brother and if you don’t get me a soda then I’ll tell mum about the time you pissed on her tomato plant and killed it.” Harry panicked, quickly coming up with a threat.

“I’m an adult, you can’t tell mum on me.”

“I swear, Tom, I’ll call her, right now!”

“Okay, okay, fine. Be right back, psycho.” Tom mumbled, leaving the room.

“Good job, real smooth, Harry.” You said sarcastically.

“Yeah, yeah,” Harry dismissed, “show me the bump!”

You rolled your eyes, but stood up nevertheless, showing off the slight bump in your torso.”

“Oh my fucking god,” Harry gasped, “It’s so tinyyyy.”

You sat back down, laughing, “Well, not for long.” You smiled, “Anyways, can you keep Tom off of social media? I think some pap might’ve caught me at the baby store the other day.”

“Sure, no problem.” Harry nodded, “We’ll be home soon.”

“Thank you, Harry, you’re a lifesaver. Now please get Tom back on?”

Tom’s plane landed at 2 pm on Thursday, and instead of meeting him at the airport where everyone would be watching, you decided to meet him at his parents’ place.

“(Y/N), you are absolutely glowing,” Nikki smiled, sipping her tea, “honestly, with Tom I was a complete mess, but you look so well put together.”

“Please, Nikki,” You gushed, “You had four kids and still manage to pull off anything.”

“Tom’s here!” Paddy ran into the backyard, arms flailing.

You stood up just as Tom was coming through the back door, Harry hot on his heels.

“There’s my lovely wife—” Tom stopped in his tracks when he saw the bump in your yellow sundress. “Holy shit.” He gasped, jaw dropped.

“Surprise!” Dom yelled, running into the backyard with a party popper.

“Dom, not now.” Nikki scolded.

“Is—Oh my god,” Tom sighed shakily, “how far along?” he asked, moving towards you to place a hand on the bump.

“16 weeks,” You smiled, “are you okay?”

Tom began to sniffle, his eyes welling up with tears. “I’m more than okay, love.” He wiped his eyes, “We’re having a baby?”

You nodded, pulling Tom in for a hug that he immediately reciprocated. He cried tears of joy into your hair. “I’m gonna be a dad,” he sobbed.

“The best dad in the world,” You whispered, “I love you.”

“I love you too,” Tom pulled away kneel down in front of your bump, “both of you.”
