Happy sad thought, possessed by the snippet of this song.
What if Ekko calls Jinx ‘my dear enemy’ as a ward and solace for Jinx?
She believes she kills all those who she loves and love her. So Ekko says enemy while meaning ‘my dear love/friend’ as a comfort to her. To ‘confuse’ her curse.
But between them, unspoken, they know the true meaning.
And maybe there's something Isha left Jinx with. Not everything needs to be spoken. Sometimes, you just know.
The inevitability of Fate
Happy Arcane Chapter 2 Day , enjoy 💙

I stand by the idea that out of the trio, Polites would be the most willing to manwhore his way out of trouble. No wonder Jay had to kill him off so soon. There would’ve been no conflict. /silly
I want to point out a scene that I'm one 100% sure slip from everyone eyes when reading the cruel prince, so here we go:
When you read the book again after you have already experienced the Horror of the Coronation, you see little details like this one that means the world to me.
The first time I read the book, I was so in shock of modoc action and the death that happened that I didn't pay that much attention to the jude and cardan scene because all my mind was working on was why modoc did what he did and what does it mean for jude.
Any way in this scene jude put her hair down infront of cardan for the first time I think + he was already drunk so when he looked at her he saw a glorious woman that he is desperately need for his desire. So he was going to say, "You look.. magnificent / beautiful / breathtaking," how've he shut up because he can't lie.
And when jude left him to bring a mask for herself, he started to drink more to stop thinking of her. Then my new fav line is "his gaze burning into me. I have no idea what he sees, what he's looking for." You want me to move on from this line from his gaze being so obvious about his obsession for her. I'm sorry, but I could never do that ever.
SOOOOOOOOO READY FOR JINX TO ROCK THE LESBIAN HAIRCUT AND THEN MAKEOUT WITH HER MALE CHILDHOOD BEST FRIEND AKA THE LOVE OF HER LIFE
arcane s2 spoilers ‼️
i like to think jinx would want to be the sister she never had
anyways here’s my version of the aftermath of the big fight
Arcane s2e1 spoiler: __________________________________________________ The way the uppercity treats the memorial's attack like an act of absolute evil. The way they built statues for people who at best never cared for Zaun and at worst harmed its inhabitant as much as they could. The way the attack's perpetrator was a woman aiming to avenge the death of her son, killed by one of Piltover's darling. And the way no one cares for her motives. The way no one cares for Zaunites. It mirrors the way they've always been treated: They've been starved and smothered and beat down for years upon years, but all it took was the death of three people the uppercity deemed important for them to declare war on their victims. So I ask you: Why is a mother's grief unimportant while Caitlyn's a tragedy? Why are Zaun's attacks unforgivable while Piltover's are justified? Why are some lives more worthy than others?
NOT SEEING ENOUGH PEOPLE TALK ABOUT JINX'S LITTLE FOUND FAMILY AND HOW PERFECT IT IS THEMATICALLY!!!
Specifically what I want to highlight is how Jinx found the two most important parts of herself that she lost in Sevika and Isha.
In Sevika she found a new Vi, a new older sister figure. She cannot fix things with Vi, she understands that, but her relationship with Sevika is something she can fix, and she can mourn Silco with Sevika in a way she and Vi could never mourn Vander together.
In Isha she found Powder, the person she once was who she can't be anymore. In many ways Isha gives Jinx the opportunity to protect and love Powder in the way she always wished others would do for her, quite literally Isha heals Jinx's inner child.
I want you all to know, that regardless of what happens in season 2, I am still gonna be shipping Ekko x Jinx till the end.
"But what if they're relationship gets worse? What if they're friendzoned? What if she leaves? What if they never see each other again? What if they hate each other?"
I don't care! I came here for this crazy 'enemies to lovers', 'impossible situationship', 'as queer-as-straight-can-be', 'angst till the cows come home' ship. And I am staying till the end. 🫡🫡🫡
Pretty much how that's gonna go, right?
What if Isha is mute because she is gonna die? Jinx won't hear her voice in her head, not only because she never talked but also because Isha met her and loved her for who she is. Not Powder nor Jinx. Just baby blue.
AMBESSA YOU LEAVE THAT LITTLE CHILD ALONE
JINX ENTERING HER SINGLE MOTHER ERA, LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOO
My kid doesn't mess with pistols; you're gonna carry a rifle.
I think that Jinx and Isha's relationship will parallel three separate dynamics:
1) Sibling dynamic - Vi and Jinx. Obvious parallel with Jinx being an older sister this time around. Perhaps it will make Jinx reminisce about her childhood and make her understand how much Vi actually loved her.
2) Parent/child dynamic - Where do I start? Jinx and her mom, Jinx and Vander, Jinx and Silco, Jinx and... Vi (yes, if you didn't notice, Vi was also a motherly figure for Powder after their mother's death). It will possibly make Jinx not just take responsibility but finally realise why parents protect their children at all cost and are ready to give up anything, including their own life.
3) Old/young self dynamic - Jinx and Powder - basically Jinx accepting and loving her younger self through Isha. It is the most important lesson she may learn, actually!
Timebomb my narrative doomed beloveds
me if i was living in zaun and trying to figure out if it was sevika or the enforcers knocking at my door

Based on something Jorge dropped in a stream once
Oh to be young and in love.
(Odysseus steps out of his chambers in Ithaca. Sees a bone.)
Odysseus (scratching his head): That's the sixth one this week. Athena.
Athena (appearing): Yes?
Odysseus: I thought all the suitors were dead.
Athena: They are.
Odysseus (points at the bone): Then do you know who keeps leaving these? Are they a kind of threat or something?
Athena (in realization): Oh, those! No, they're not threats. Those are from Ares.
Odysseus: What?
Athena: He's a fan of yours now. That's how he says he likes you.
Odysseus:...by leaving bones?
Athena: I can call him over here if you want.
Odysseus (quickly): No that's okay--(fails to stop her)
(Ares appears and waves)
Athena (to Ares): He's curious about the bones you keep giving him.
Ares (sadly to Odysseus): You don't like them?
Odysseus (unsurely): N-no, they're great. I just...wanted to know who to thank.
Ares (happily): Good, because I've got more for you!
(A pile of bones drops into Odysseus's arms. Ares waves again and vanishes.)
Odysseus: Do you know why this is his way of showing approval?
Athena: I try not to ask.
I lied, put your clothes back on.. 😐 we're going to talk about the complexity of the duarte twins relationship and how they're so similar but different at the same time when it comes to achieving what they want
