cause I do. as a lonely child of 12 who had no friends, it was a favorite pasttime of mine to boot up the dial-up internet and type out imaginary conversations with ouran high school host club characters in the beginning notes before even starting the damn chapter (which was inevitably 500 words long and absolutely awful)

[Tony and Fury have been arguing over a mission at Avengers Tower. The meeting has stretched till night and isn’t stopping.]

Tony: Steve, honey!! Can you go to the deli and get me some tea?

Steve: Sure, Tony.

[5 minutes later, Steve arrives with tea]

Tony: *Gulps it down* Buckle up motherf- [pauses]

Clint: Are you okay?

Tony, swaying: Why do I feel so… Steve, what kind of tea was that?

Steve: The strongest they had. It had a bear on the box, and there’s nothing stronger than a bear!

Tony, eyes wide: WHAT WAS THE BEAR WEARING, STEVE?!

Steve: People’s clothes! 

Fury: Oh boy, those were pajamas. That’s Sleepytime tea.

Steve: Yeah! For those times when you’re sleepy and don’t want to be!

Natasha: But it says caffeine free!

Steve, freaking out: Because you don’t pay EXTRA FOR THE CAFFEINE!!! IT’S FREE!

Tony: YOU FOooOL! *Collapses on the table and snores*

Apparently if I’m having a good time living my life I then go and text someone I know will make me miserable because I literally don’t understand what self preservation is. Why do I treat myself so badly!?
