Dream stepped out of the lava his feet on the solid obsidian. The main cell was out of the question. If he wanted somewhere to sleep it wouldn't be fucking idiotville and it's resident mayor. He briefly considered one of the cells but that was too far away from his secret entrance to the prison. Plus those cells were cold.

He turned back to face the lava. It didn't matter if Sam could see him, he would just think Dream was watching him, toying with him. "DREAM! DREAM COME BACK" but he was loud. and annoying. He would continue to be loud and annoying for over a week if his own experience was anything to go by.

He had come to the prison for silence, to be alone with his thoughts and for the security only several layers of unbreakable obsidian could provide. No matter what color was between the bumps in the rock. He'd have to travel further in. If he remembers correctly there's another section of lava that should suit him just fine.

A short trip through the guards tunnel and he was standing next to another wall of lava surrounded by obsidian. If he closed his eyes it felt just like the cell. He laid down a blanket and tried to get comfortable but nothing is quite as grounding as prinkly obsidian. The usueless blanket is burned and he's curled up as close to the lava as is safe.

It's been a long time since he's slept as soundly as that.

i believe it is hilarious how much people act as if dream incites harassment; like he's the one with the power? like he's the one with the general public's positive opinion? like he hasn't been fucking harassed and verbally abused for a year? it's all kicking this guy to a pulp even when he's down but woe is me 😞 your stans are quote retweeting me and you're ruining my friend's career because of his own actions...

If cTechno had a tumblr he would be one of those gimmick blogs. His url would be overthrowthegoverment and all he'd do would be comment "I have a suggestion" on reblogs of anyone complaining about anything.

If cDream had a tumblr he would comment some random shitpost, someone would comment mocking him for being wrong, he would reply with a bunch of references and links to peer reviewed studies proving that not only he was right but also that it was really important that people educate themselves about that subject, and then the version that goes viral is the one without his reply.

So, if in the finale c!Dream’s helmet, that he takes off for c!Tommy, represents his mask, does that mean that when c!Sapnap puts on c!Dream’s armor, Nightmare, he is putting on and stealing c!Dream’s mask? - Because I’m not gonna lie that really puts a new perspective on that betrayal… Furthermore, when c!Techno brings c!Dream armor in prison, did he make him a mask and bring it to him… and then take away the mask later? - If so, again that’s kinda screwed up. Though you could argue that perhaps he made c!Dream a mask for the jailbreak so he had one to face the server with and then because they were trying to not seem like allies he took it back, knowing that c!Dream would get another one. Which also begs the question, did c!Punz make c!Dream a mask for after prison or is he simply handing over one of c!Dream’s masks?… When c!Tommy in the minecart skirmish stole c!Dream’s armor, was he taunting him with his own mask? - Because oof that’s some serious violation and disrespect…

In other words, if you think that c!Dream’s helmet in the finale represents the mask (which I’d say is implied by c!Tommy) does that same logic apply across the board or is it just for that moment? And if it does apply to rest of the lore, wow does that have some implications…

It’s actually so disheartening to see how many people think de-platforming is the only solution to an issue with a content creator, especially one who’s expressed remorse and wants to grow and change.

In my opinion de-platforming should be reserved for creators who are currently an active danger if they have a platform. Someone who’s apologized and is making an effort to change is clearly not an active danger so I just don’t believe that they deserve to loose everything they’ve worked towards 😭

“get a job” as an insult: piddlin. implies one’s value is determined by employment. feeds into capitalistic ideals

“get a hobby”: strong. cutting. implies that instead of feeding your soul and potentially creating something beautiful, you are here bothering me.
