hi. will it ever end

My life these days.
getting ready to study
You are smarter than you feel and you know more than you think.
Always while studying or right before an exam i feel like i don't know anything, my thoughts are all jumbled and I can't find a straight answer for a question i ask myself for funsies.
That's ok.
I've come to know that, despite feeling like i don't know anything, i hold all the necessary information. When it counts, when you have a specific problem right in front of you, you will know the answer.
You sometimes just have to trust yourself.
While studying for this class right before exams, every time i felt like i needed a break i would make a tiny drawing.
Now my book is full of this type of lil guys.
I am once again going through this book and thought that I'd share the doodles that kept me sane(debatable) during exam season.
I find it beautiful that we, as persons, are made of pieces of other people.
I have my mother's eyes, but i make my father's concentration face. Even though our voices differ, my sister and I speak the same way. I cook singing the same songs my grandma used to sing around the house. I always wear the same earrings a friend gifted me years ago. I use the perfume someone told me that smells like me. I salute people on the street as my nana did. I make wishes at certain hours as my childhood friend taught me. I follow superstitions even though i don't understand them because i grew up with them.
I am made of pieces of the people I hold dear.
And this thought makes me love myself a little bit more.
You’re never too old to learn something new. Never stop studying.
Exam season is all about balance.
Study too much, you burn out
Study too little, you won't enjoy the results
So, here's my recent attempt at balance.
6/6 exams to go
friday | october 4
i'll spend the weekend catching up on readings and prepping for my first exam of the term, but friday evenings are the time to curl up with a good book and forget about homework.

Y'all inspire me to study!! We can be mutual sweet. Thank you :)
Ps. Most mutuals knew me as a nursing major, but I switched 'cause I cant keep up with the demand of the course, dorms and all the jazz. In short, my parents did not allow me.
I chose to waste time in a way I like, and everything aesthetic fills my soul
