Things I Learned at Sarah J. Maas' Book Signing Today:

-Sarah has been asked to write a catwoman comic for dc, which she predicts will come out in 2018

-She’s been banned from playing board games by her family

-If she went to hogwarts, she would be a slytherin, but she would live in Gryffindor’s tower bc the living under a lake thing would freak her out

-her personal blog in high school became like a meme for the school

-If Manon and Celaena went to Starbucks, Manon would either get ice water at the counter instead of buying a water bottle, or two straight shots of espresso bc she’s a badass, and

Celaena would get the sweetest possible frappuccino with like 3x the amount of whipped cream a normal one has.

-if Celaena, Rowan, Dorian, Chaol, Rhysand and Tamlin played monopoly together,

Celaena would be the banker who embezzled money,

Rowan would be the one who was “watching her like a hawk”(her pun not mine),

Dorian and Rhys would be really smart with their purchases and take the game really seriously,

Chaol would take it just as seriously and pull out the rule book,

and Tamlin would be like “lmao no that’s a mortal game why would I play that?”

After Rowan calls her out for embezzlement, Celeana would flip the board and set it on fire while it was in the air.

-if all the characters from both series were put in the hunger games:

The thirteen would band together and hunt

They would probably kill Dorian who would either die from that or trusting Celaena as an ally and getting stabbed

Chaol would make a valiant effort but get steamrolled by the magic users, probably trying to protect Dorian.

Rhys would win bc of the brain melting thing, but without that, she doesn’t know.

-Throne of Glass and ACOTAR take place in the same universe, so in theory, you could open a wyrdgate to one from the other, but she has no plans of the two interacting.

-Celaena and Manon are Sarah’s favorite characters in ToG, and Rhys and Nesta are the two known characters that are her favorites in ACOTAR

-Sarah was inspired to write the first scene of ACOTAR while listening to the Princess Mononoke soundtrack.

-While ToG is inspired by Cinderella, ACOTAR draws heavily from Beauty and the Beast and East of the Sun West of the Moon.

-Sarah’s favorite scene in ACOMAF was inspired by Hansel and Gretel and was so graphic she gagged while writing it.

-The only times Sarah was so shaken by what she was writing that she had to take a break were when Sam died, and when Asterin talked about her past.

Does anyone think that I should post my wattpad book, Crimson Keep on here? If you don't know what it is, here is the description~ April Risin's home was destroyed by the king of Everstone Keep. She is the only survivor. No one escaped except for her, thanks to a Gift that she has. Middle of ACOTAR: meh.

End of ACOTAR: i kinda like him.

Beginning of ACOMAF: don't like him again.

I introduced my cousin to the fandom this year and she is 11 xD

I think my biggest issue with the throne of glass fandom on tumblr is that there are a many young people who read the books. And young people are dramatic. So I sit in the corner with all of the other old tumblr fans and drink our wine and watch the drama unfold.

This is part of the reason I want to learn German, my family is from Germany and I want to cuss out my friends a lot more and they will have no idea what I'm saying
