i think, Hypothetically, the scariest things are things that aren't people. Things that can destroy your life or your family's life with a snap of your fingures. Things that lack basic human needs like sleep or thirst. Things that can continue to harm you even after you die. Things that don't die. People claim that humanity is on the top of the food chain right? Imagine that wasn't the case. That there are millions of things a hell of a lot more powerful than us, and a lot more sinister. Things that don't just hurt you, but break you. Tear apart every little piece of your soul until you aren't you anymore. Like I don't like spiders right? So this thing would generate billions of spiders, and make them chew at my skin until I die. But no. I don't die. I keep having to relive the pain… the terror. I'm unable to do anything but sit there and listen to the creatures bite at my flesh. Watch as the creature's also bite at my family's flesh. That's what would scare me. Monsters that do monstrous things for the hell of it and drag innocent lives into their games. They have no code, no reason. They just hurt things.

what if ur biggest fear was stalkers so the "thing" would constantly have you on edge with shadows of people that arent really there, anonymous letters from your "stalker", noises that nobody else hears but you, seeing imaginary people, etc

Sociology (So-see-all-oh-gee), Psychology (sigh-call-oh-gee) and Anthropology (Ant-throw-pol-a-gee)! Sociology is the study of people, society and social groups! Psychology is the study of human brain, thoughts and emotions! Anthropology is the study of human behaviors, how they acted, how they lived (I’m sure)
