my tumblr algorthim seems to think i have a chronic illness and is intersex, my youtube algorith thinks im trans, my twitter algorithm *thinks* i love bigotry. this is what happens when you try to learn about other peoples culture, like why is it so stigmatized to learn and listen to people? the legal definition of a woman in the uk is now based purely on biological sex, which will likely fuel the deconstruction of laws made to protect trans people and fuel new transphobic laws. we are still apparently protected from discrimination though.
the worst part of this is that news reports have been treating this as a good thing. jk rowling is painted as an amazing person in school assemblies. after doing not only what she does on twitter, but actively funding the discrimination of trans people.

the way i see medical care as is like the roots of an interconnected web of trees, bassicly interconnected trees send nutrition from all the hundreds of other trees to one specific tree when its damaged. One person has to pay for medicine, and a tiny bit of money gets extracted from every other person (in the form of already paid taxes) to pay for the medicine

Listen, if a Bad President can come in and take away our rights and we're dependent on a Good President replacing them in four years to give us back our rights, then we do not have any rights.
If politicians can take or distribute them, then they're not "inalienable" and they're not "rights."
We don't have inalienable rights we have conditional privileges, divvied out according to the whims of whoever currently holds the reins.
And if we want to have actual rights, then we must build a system in which no one has the power to take them away to begin with.
