if you ever see a post from somebody that hates a group of people and post examples of the group actually being bad THEN DO NOT TAKE IT TO HEART. think of how many people of that group exist, and then think of how many examples of evil people there are, and then think of the likely overlap there are.
wether the poster knew it or not, they were performing/participating to multiple fallacies; cherry picking (only picking clean cherries when harvesting and think every cherry is clean), selection bias (doing a research on how many blonde people there are and only having one participant), anchor bias [specifically about what information thay have heard from other people who hate that group](hearing "i sucked a weiner, for twenty bucks" and only hearing the first part, making it sound just gay), and is participation in conformation bias.
also if you notice one of these fallacies then just ignore the message, only respond if its in real life, <and if so please point it out to the person.
we should go absolutely buck- fuckin' -wild at the cybertrucks
(them specifically, other teslas are fine)
twitters nieche is having "common sense", tumblrs nieche is having common sense
'trans person' getting turned into 'transperson' is always so confusing to me, because trans is just an adjective, like i wouldnt call someone bigjohn just because their name is john and they're big, even if theyre commonly reffered to as big john or even big-john.
so tired i just thought the number before 8 was Y, i have no idea why i thought so.
i mean its not meant towards anyone, so its banter, but like slightly different
asexual and danish: da(n)cemark
Gay AND European: Faguette
i understand and agree with this 100%, but i have honestly never met an autistic person who doesnt understand the "bigotry continues once they get their will" prophecy, like i feel like youre saying us autistic people are as stupid as TERFs by saying we dont understanding bigotry (not as bad as them, but as stupid as them)
dear autistics who
white
low support needs
not need 24/7 support
can work independently
can pay taxes
language privileged
intellectual & cognitive privileged
who can fit in societal definition of useful & productive (yes, even if hard)
when fight back against eugenics & ableism, you NEED to fight alongside, fight with, n fight for autistics who
radicalized & POC
from places of world where there critically lack autism knowledge n support
visibly autistic
higher support needs
need 24/7 care
can’t work independently or even work at all
can’t pay taxes
nonverbal, nonspeaking, minimally verbal, without functional communication, or cannot communicate via language at all even AAC
w intellectual disability or cognitive disabilities
who cannot fit into society definition of useful n productive, no matter how hard we try
because we always are & always will be primary target.
because we most vulnerable most marginalized within our, OUR community, which you belong in.
because once they finish us off you won’t be spared.
i do dare

its technically not alienating someones rights if you make the rights different instead of removing them, you see thats completely what inalienable means
Listen, if a Bad President can come in and take away our rights and we're dependent on a Good President replacing them in four years to give us back our rights, then we do not have any rights.
If politicians can take or distribute them, then they're not "inalienable" and they're not "rights."
We don't have inalienable rights we have conditional privileges, divvied out according to the whims of whoever currently holds the reins.
And if we want to have actual rights, then we must build a system in which no one has the power to take them away to begin with.
