You People Are So Demonically Fucking Evil. Really Cool; I'm Sure It Reinforces Nothing That You Think

you people are so demonically fucking evil. really cool; i'm sure it reinforces nothing that you think that being afab allows you to be a better woman than a trans woman. thanks for examining why you think transfems can't fit the bar of femininity you're establishing by virtue of nothing more than you not being amab. really cool. hey what's up with the nazi comparison at the very end

you should be able to go to a hospital and go hello I am an addict and they give you your substance of choice for the day .

You can separate the art from the artist, but you cannot separate the artist from that art's profit.

Kids, because it is all kids and teenagers, who identify as RCTA (race change to another) don’t realize they’re racist because they’re all white kids who think the only form of racism that exists is “I hate people of color” and don’t know about micro aggressions, fetishization, and cultural appropriation.

They’re also just dealing with very normal teenage insecurities and body dysmorphia, but instead of recognizing that they aren’t happy with how they look because they’re 14, they think that looking like someone else entirely will fix them. Which isn’t a healthy mindset but is super common! But picking their ideal self image to be another race and then becoming so obsessed with another culture that you think you can change into that race? That’s very unhealthy, very damaging to their self image, and entirely unacceptable.

And the few non-white RCTA people are dealing with either internalized racism or are being just as racist as the white ones against a culture that isn’t their own.

And because these are things that originate entirely online, transrace has its own similar but slightly different ‘community.’ Equally problematic, but, in my limited online experience with both circles, seemingly made up of more young adults and definitely connected to MOGAI.

i've been on this site for 10 fucking years and the fact that black people and trans women are systematically chased out and have been chased out one by one from this website is really fucking gross. I hate this website. Racist fucking website.

Some women are conditioned to be fragile and weak, and to believe that it's a sin to outperform a man. Her feminism would involve allowing women to be strong.

Some women are expected to be strong at times when they can't. Her feminism would involve reassuring her that it's okay to not be strong.

Some neurodivergent people are raised to believe that they're too stupid to ever amount to anything. Their disability activism would involve reassuring them that they're capable.

Some neurodivergent people are raised to believe that they're smart and gifted, and are expected to live up to impossible standards. Their disability activism would involve allowing them to fail, make mistakes, be stupid, etc.

Some children are constantly reminded "you're the child, I'm the adult" in order to deny their autonomy. Their youth rights activism would involve treating them like an adult at times when they feel ready for it.

Some children are treated like adults in order to justify increased expectations or to downplay abuse against them. Their youth rights activism would involve allowing them to be a child.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution to oppression. Each individual person's experience is different. Whatever trauma is caused by their oppression, the activism should focus on undoing it.

trans women, i love you.

you were a woman yesterday. you're a woman today. you're a woman tomorrow. you're a woman forever.

trans women have existed long before those stuffy bigots sitting in a court room have. trans women will continue to exist long after they're dead and rotting in the earth.

people often talk about "transfem hypervisibility and transmasc erasure" as if these are some equal but opposite forces, but this doesn't account for how transfem hypervisibility is a form of erasure all of its own.

when news panels have debates on trans women's inclusion in sports or bathrooms or society as a whole with no trans women present, that is erasure.

when cis men are hired to play trans women, that is erasure.

when every "family friendly" movie or sitcom you watch growing up has a hateful joke at trans women's expense, from Friends to fucking Shrek, that is erasure.

when the trans panel or trans anthology doesnt feature a single trans woman, that is erasure.

when people justify our exclusion because "trans women are already talked about enough, when is it our turn?" that is erasure.

erasure is not only "not being talked about." erasure is also being talked over, excluded from discussions about your own lived experience. when you meet someone who has never heard of someome like you, you get to introduce yourself, you have influence over how they see people like you. when you meet someone who has heard all about you, but never from anyone like you, when they only know you from mean spirited jokes, from porn, from politicians calling you a pedophile, well, the trans violence statistics speak for themselves.

Every post about intrusive thoughts needs at least 10 people per day to reblog it derailing and saying "it's ok to have intrusive thoughts so long as they're not about violence or sexual acts but instead perhaps a witch trying to solve the disappearance of her neighbour's cat in a small village in the Alps..."
