Objectively speaking, if reading it made your afternoon more enjoyable, it's good by at least one metric.
Objectively speaking, the fanfic I’m reading is not good, but my goodness, it’s made my afternoon that much more enjoyable
Broke: female Custodes are Tzeentchian infiltrators
Woke: female Custodes are not Tzeentchian infiltrators
Bespoke: the idea that female Custodes are Tzeentchian infiltrators is being spread as part of Tzeentch's latest scheme to spread discord and Chaos in the Imperium, to make people doubt the Emperor's most loyal and capable servants
Sure, go ahead.
I swear, if I hear *one more person* simplify fulgrim to just "yassss queen slay" I am going to break something. He's such an interesting, tragic and relatable character and I wish people didn't simplify him to "haha pretty boy".
AO3 has a wonderfully built tag system, in my opinion. If you don't want to see something in a search, you can literally just scroll down and edit the "exclude" tags.
Honestly the tags is one of the biggest reasons why I prefer it over FF.net. You can often get an idea of what's in a story beyond just the summary.
Being a pro censorship ao3 user is so insanely cringe. Either use the (incredibly effective and well designed) filtering system to avoid seeing the shit you don't like or stop complaining. Leave the pro censorship rhetoric to Wattpad or smth
Dark Angels:
Named after a poem about being gay
have a primarch named after a gay poet
there's an urban legend about their fortress-monastery being named after a gay bar
their lore is an allegory for being gay and in the closet
Of course, the Space Marines in general are incredibly homoerotic, just as the god-emperor intended.
Hey, I'm just poking my head into the hobby and getting a feel for all the factions. Which army in the Imperium is the most Woke?
Defintely space marines. All those armour colours? The overdressing? Boys only??? Oversized weapons? Leather bodygloves?? Bunch of fruits
I swear, some lore nerds would rather die than acknowledge that factions other than the Imperium do things, and that there is some overlap in what they and the Imperium do.
Or that, as incompetent as they are, it is still entirely possible for them to do something smart, if it's only by accident.
Oh, it's certainly incompetent, and when it does do something right, it has no understanding why. When the Imperium does something correctly, it does so because that's what tradition says, not because they understand why, how, or if it works. It uses titans because the titan legions have been around as long as the Imperium does. The Space Marines fight in melee because of honor and glory. Do they understand why they do them, and why they work? Of course not. Doesn't keep them from working.
There is a reason my homebrew chapter is a Blood Angels successor.
I'm quite fond of femboy vampires in power armor with jet packs.
Waiiit, a minute...
Hmm...
Let me check something real quick, *ehem*
FULGRIM IS A LITTLE BITCH!!! JUST A STUPID FEMBOY!!! HE CAN'T DO ANYTHING AND HE ACHIEVED NOTHING, EVEN BEFORE CHAOS GOT HIS ASS!!! HE NEVER LOVED ANYONE!!!! PERTURABO IS A CHAD FOR BEATING HIM UP IN ANGEL EXTERMINATUS!!!!! FERRUS AND HORUS SHOULD'VE NEVER TRUSTED HIM!!!!
It's really funny to see a sci-fi versus debate where someone's like "Well, this franchise's ships are 10 times the size of that franchise's ships, so that franchise has no chance whatsoever" and the latter franchise is an anime where ships carry guns that shoot antimatter and the former pretends to be somewhat grounded and doesn't have antimatter weapons.
Size matters not, indeed.
Vorgh auxiliary for T'au.
So this is a little design exercise I did with my brother that I found fun and would love to hear warhammer fans thoughts:
GW decides every armies getting 2 new kits next year.
They say they aren't updating any, all of these kits are going to be entirely new per army, not models we've ever seen before (so you can't say necron pariah or an updated nightbringer, we've seen those)
What would you want them to add? To your or other armies.
Lung cancer is all ing your lungs, and it will still kill the rest of you.
"it's all in your head" correct! unfortunately I am also in there
The only way for him to grow out of his perfectionism would be for him to lose in a manner that was very clearly his own fault. The sword may have been the final straw, but it definitely wasn't even most of the reason why he fell.
‘if only fulgrim didn’t pick up the sword he could have’ could have what. could have what. stayed under the oversight of a distant father figure? kept pressuring himself and his sons to be perfect and flawless all the time? been disposed of when he’d served his purpose? i hate you
Femboys, Warhammer 40,000, Battleships, and whatever else crosses my mind
