Howdy, I noticed I never shared this fella here.

The last year I was obsessed with a venezuelan petroglyph, so I wanted to read as much as I could find about it (There's a thread on twitter, btw), and also... Draw a character inspired of it

I'm still working in his story but for now what I can say is... He's a some kind of spirit who protects the Amazonia. His past? He doesn't remember it at all to the point he's unable to speak, but surely he's related with the sun in some way (And that's how I've been calling him, Sunny boy, haha)

had an interaction with another human being the other day which rememinded me of nanahuatzin and tecciztecatl so i made a quick doodle of nanahuatzin going through the same trials i had to withstand

im gonna draw these two in a higher quality sometime maybe idk

A couple things

• His name is Tlaloc, the Tlaloque are his helpers

• He’s not satanic due to the fact that Satan was not part of their religion

• The argument that something that is the same because they look similar is false without added evidence. I could say that a lion and a horse are the same because they’re both four legged mammals but they’re very clearly different. Just because they’re both stepped and triangular doesn’t mean they’re the same thing

I recently drew Tlaloc! I thought it would be neat to add some more differing features I don’t see often in media so I gave him a cleft lip. I didn’t draw his legs because I’m lazy lolz. Bear with me on the feathers I’m working on learning how to draw them 😭
