Writing practice and i don't mean time management. By writing practice, I mean, no matter how well you know your content, if you can't put it in words appropriately then you won't get your grades.
Now, it's hard to remember every single thing so here's a technique...
What? When? Who? Why? How? What's the use?
The basic information for any topic would be the answer to these questions. I'll take an example, suppose you have to write a short note on computer.
The points would be:
What is it? An electronic device.
When was it invented? Between 1833 and 1871.
Who invented it? Charles Babbage
Why did they invent it? To perform calculations
How does it work? (Input-Process-Output)
What's the main use? Storing, receiving and processing data
The more questions you answer, the more points you get. This can be applied generally, if you take your textbook and observe how many points each topic has, many might answer to the above questions.
So when you're writing the exam and you don't know how to continue, just think about what questions you've missed and answer to them.
Note: Change questions according to the topic/ subject and do not change the main keywords.
Bonus: Write all the general questions related to each lesson at the starting of the lesson or your notes. So, while revising, you'll know your order.
So, my summer break starts now and let's say that I'm gonna do this challenge. Basically, I'll try to finish the books given below :))

Read as much as I can
Post some study related content here
I'll be posting a weekly reading challenge later on, like cause I wanna actually see how i complete it xD

Not a very productive day but I did:
Glance through the important questions and case studies
Revised MCQs
Total hours of studying: 1 hour 30 mins
Day 4/ Day 9
I completed my exam today and nothing else unless reading an extremely cringey e-book counts xD
So yeah... and my exam was meh... not too good, not too bad. I still have like one exam left and then I'm done with junior year!
Day 3/ Day 9... It's the night before my 2nd last exam, gosh, I want to get it done T-T
Despite my exam being tomorrow, I ended up reading an e-book for the majority of the time but nevertheless i revised quite a lot...
Things i completed today:
Finished almost the whole textbook
Revised MCQs
Watched an hour of lectures covering important topics
Need to complete:
Review the notes one last time today (✓)
Revising MCQs again (will complete early in the morning)
Revising 4 important lessons again (✓)
Review 8 important questions/topics (✓)
Total hours of study (still counting): 4 hours

Today was a lazy day, I just slept and studied for only sometime... But Day 2 is done!
Day 2/Day 9
Today i completed:
Two lessons in accounts
Revised MCQs
Reviewed notes
Total hours of study: 2 hours
I'm gonna start a countdown till my last working day of junior year which is 26.03.24 so...
Day 1/Day 9
Over-all, a productive day, i studied for six hours (still counting) and completed:
Revised 7 lessons in Business Studies
Revised some important questions
Did some previous year questions in Accounts
Reviewed notes
Things I have to complete in Accounts:
Review more notes (✓)
Revise 3-4 lessons (✓)
Revise MCQs (do not have the energy T-T)
Updated:
Total hours of study: 7 hours 30 mins
It's okay:
If you're not currently interested in studying
If you've lost interest in some thing you like/love
If you need a break
If you just need to sleep for the whole day and be lazy
If you just want to watch/binge shows and movies
If you don't feel chirpy sometimes
If you feel sad/angry/or any other emotion
If you feel stressed or pressured because of work
It's okay if you are not okay
Epitaphs.
Don't ask me why xD

Quick ! Think of a word you like !
Not necessarily your favorite word, it doesn’t even have to be a word you usually like ! Just a word that right now, at this moment, you look at and think “ooh what about this one”.
It can be a word you find funny, pretty, strange, scary, anything really ! You don’t need to tell me why you choose that word (though I’d love to know if you want to tell me), just give me a word !
(It’d be lovely if we made this into a chain but there’s no pressure <3)
uhhhhh sanguine? (literally the only word that popped up into my head rn but it’s prettyyy and sounds like summer to me in some inexplicable way 😌✨)
oh sure! (but no pressure ofc <3)
Today was kinda productive to be honest, i finished:
Four lessons in accounts
Completed a previous year question paper
Reviewed notes
So, I have about two more exams and then I'm done with junior year! So, here's an update on my revision
Goals for today:
Revise 1 lesson in accounts
Review notes
I'm keeping it short cause i literally just had a very lazy day and it's kinda late so, I'll probably just finish up smaller things. Better doing something than nothing, right?
Scroll Tumblr
Watch study motivation
Read study motivation quotes
Think about studying
Worry about not studying
Lay in bed doing nothing
Daydream
Chat with friends
Have slight mental breakdowns because of studying
Wondering why i don't have time to study
Hey! Where r u from?! And in what grade?
Well hello! :D
I'll answer one of your questions, I'm in the ending of junior year and going to the senior year. (literally only 2 more exams and I'm done with this year)
As for the second question, I'm kinda uncomfortable sharing where I'm from so as for now, I'd like to keep that private, I hope it's okay for you <3
Take care! :))
I'm damn anxious about tomorrow's exam, like... i haven't even revised half the stuff...
My fourth exam is on Thursday so.... I can't take a rest T-T
(Don't mind the lighting, I'm sitting in the living room while everyone else is sleeping T-T)
I'm waiting for this exam to get done because then I'll be free for a week, not exactly free but I'll have time to breathe...
Tip: If you're bored and you're taking notes, just draw your notes. It enhances creativity and helps you remember better!
I better go xD
Here's the thing, I've read a whole lot of things tips for this but none have worked for me, so this may not work for you either but, there's no harm in experimenting, right?
Get the question papers
Now, look through the papers...
You need not set a timer and practice these questions but instead, check for a pattern or any format.
Like, a question is being repeated for every damn test and you haven't studied it? It's likely that it will be asked for the next test.
You see questions from certain lessons being repeated only from the same section? Focus on it.
And for this, you don't even need like previous year papers, even the mock tests or suprise quizzes can be used to identify which lessons are important.
Search for a pattern, focus on it and shape it
Then, when you've mostly gone through all the papers, go through the questions which they've repeated like once or twice and be sure that you can answer any question from those papers you have. You can go through the rest of the material a little slower.
Mind this that all tips may not work for you and that is completely fine :)
For some reason, the day before the exam, our brains tend to forget every single thing we learnt... Like, did I study this or am I hallucinating? Like, I have vague memory of it but i don't actually know it T-T
It doesn't matter if someone you know has completed the whole material twice or thrice, what matters is how much of it you actually remember.
Sadly, our education system does not test how much we know, it only tests how many of the questions we can answer. So, the content you put in your answers matters more than what you know.
So, you're doing good, just don't stop and focus on your own progress. :)
first and foremost, do as i say not as i do (as in don't post study tips on tumblr when you have seven tests to study for)
make it aesthetic, that's always super motivating. put a playlist in the background like the "you're a princess researching about your mother while trying to overthrow your father" or "solving a mystery in your elite boarding school" or "studying in a library with the ghosts" (look them up they're good god knows i'm too lazy to link them) also mcu soundtracks help me so much!!
pretty notes!!
DRINK WATER (go now fr or i'm going to find you)
something i like to do is keep a big cup of water next to me and force myself to sit and study until it's empty
open windows!!! wind helps me focus personally
pretend you're studying in hogwarts or in the dead poets society or something. imagination is very powerful
snacks!!!!!!
more snacks!!!!!!!!!!
get interested in what you're studying. like fr. stuff we learn in school is amazing af like what do you mean we found out the universe is expanding through red-shift??? ok i know this is very nerdy of me but it's cool af. BE NERDY.
take breaks <3 always
pretend you have a rival you need to destroy (if you have one that's even better, personally me and my rival sometimes study in the same room to motivate each other just by glaring at each other from across the room)(side note: this could also be his method of flirting i will never know)
stand up and walk around every once in a while. for all my figure skating besties -- try to do an off-ice axel in your kitchen. it tends to wake me up because i tend to fall when i try to do a double but whatever that's a me problem.
find somewhere comfortable and wear something comfortable
make a to-do list
SEPARATE SECTION ABOUT TO-DO LISTS BECAUSE I HAVE A WHOLE SYSTEM FOR THIS
first of all you're going to brain dump everything you have to do. every little thing. including walking your dog. everything that has to be done in the next 24 hours.
let's take a sample to do list:
- math quiz
-math homework
-physics presentation
-chemistry test
-french oral
next, you're going to give each of them a score. how do we put scores? well
give it an easiness score from 1 -> 10 (10 being you can do it upside down with your eyes closed)
give it a stress score from -1 -> -10 (-10 being it causes crippling anxiety)
give it a priority score from 1 -> 10 (10 being your teacher will hunt you down if it isn't done in the next hour)
finally, give it in a convenience score from -1 -> -4 (-4 being i don't know where my notebook is my pen is in antartica i have no material to do this atm)
for me it would be something like
- math quiz (5E, -1S, 10P, -2C) 12
-math homework (7E, 0S, 8P, -1C) 14
-physics presentation (6E, -2S, 5P, -2C) 7
-chemistry test (2E, -2S, 10P, 0C) 10
-french oral (10E, -3S, 8P, -1C) 14
then sort everything. do the highest scores first and the lowest scores last (so you get the easy stuff done and get motivated to continue) and there! your to-do list is done in the least painful way possible <3
I swear, sometimes revision is the most exhausting phase in any high school year T-T
Please don't mind my messy notes, for some reason my brain cannot just process neat notes. It's like we're enemies but nevertheless, I managed to finish quite alot and tomorrow is another long day :")
For some reason , you get to remember every single chore, every task, every embarassing situation, your future goals, daydreams and whatsoever just the moment you sit and start to study with actual focus and then it's not focus anymore T-T
(Just saying, my notes are not so aesthetic and they're kinda messy so xD)
An over-all (and first) update on my study progress today...
I revised about 7-8 lessons in Computer Science
Did a short revision of MCQs in Economics.
In general, it was an alright productive day and yeah.
