All I see, eyes open or closed, is a god damn barely anthropomorphic RAT with a MOP ON ITS HEAD, that is so squeaking tiny that his OTHER FATTER RAT FRIEND (who mind you is the embodiment of a weird pseudo Mr. Clean ad mixed with the cool aid man) looks like a GOLIATH when he in fact takes like five hits to kill and if the first rat wasn’t so GODDAMN PATHETIC, HE WOULD PROBABLY BE STRONGER THAN THE FAT ONE.

IS THERE INTERNET CONTENT ABOUT THESE WEIRD LITTLE RAT GUYS?? NO, IM THE ONLY ONE WHO WILL EVER REMEMBER THEM IN FIVE YEARS TIME, OR EVEN CARES ABOUT THEM NOW. EVEN THE GAME DEVS BARELY GAVE THEM A HAPPY ENDING WITH THE GOD DAMN APAWCOLYPSE COMING.

True. As good as the Minecraft movie did at encapsulating the cringe culture that surrounds Minecraft itself, they really needed to develop more than the guy characters.

it was shit funny. funny because it's shit. you get the picture. haha chicken jockey, the nether, enderpearl. funny! made me laugh a lot, very nice and digestible.

BUT!

I was very disappointed by the characters. Jack Black and Jason Mamoa were great - but that's it. It was so sad to see such underdeveloped characters for Emma Myers and Danielle Brookes, I feel like they had so much potential, but no. Overprotective sister that can fight for some reason???? and funny black character. It was so saddening to see the female characters reduced down to stereotypes: big sister with hidden talent and funny aave use. They had like zero character development throughout the whole film and it was just so sad to see. I didn't even know their names until the end of the film.

okay so i finished checking if we were friends in every universe and, uh, it turns out we're only friends in 6 of them. but look, i need you to understand these universes vary like crazy, okay? like 6 is actually insanely high, like way higher than most. and one of those is the universe where i accidentally killed the actor who played Dipsy from Teletubbies when i was 7 and my life went completely differently as a result. and we still ended up friends! also you were a girl in that universe for some reason. what? oh, uh, yeah, you were cute as hell. like really cute. did you just fucking giggle
