— the princess guide on glowing up:

recently i noticed how in love i've become with my appearance after a long time of strongly hating how i look. i wondered how i got to this point so i worked backwards to figure out what changed and made this post.ᡣ𐭩

— The Princess Guide On Glowing Up:
— The Princess Guide On Glowing Up:

GETTING OVER MY INSECURITIES

social media is one of the main things that attributed to my insecurities. when you're constantly bombarded by posts praising girls that look nothing like you for their beauty it's easy to trick yourself into thinking that must mean you're not beautiful since you have nothing in common with them. someone's beauty does not take away from yours, but it can make you forget yours. the first change i made that signified the beginning of my new found self love was when i started to look at models and influencers and actresses that looked more like me. i believe there's beauty in every feature, you just have to see it in a beautiful light. i stopped considering my features ugly when i distanced from any content that would insist on them being flaws and instead exposed myself to beautiful girls who had the same exact features and realised they didn't make them any less beautiful.

SETTING MY OWN BEAUTY STANDARDS

a crucial point in my journey to loving my physical appearance was disregarding society's already set beauty standards and it's expectations. the truth is you can't build your confidence based on how much you fit others' standards because everybody has their own idea of beauty and what might make you beautiful in someone's eyes might make you ugly in another's. so that's why i decided to create my own standards and measure myself based on what i personally think is beautiful.

i did this by taking out my journal, closing my eyes for a few seconds and imagining what i considered to be the epitomy of beauty, then i wrote down a description of what i imagined. if you're having trouble picturing the details, you can try answering some of these questions:

what kind of girl would i see on the street and would leave something that is more than an impression on me? what texture is her hair? what color is it? how is she wearing it, is it parted in the middle or to the side? is it styled or is it down? is it long or short? is she wearing makeup? if yes, is it natural makeup or is it more on the bold side? is she wearing jewellery? is it dainty or flashy? what is her body type? is she skinny or curvy? does she have her nails done? are they long or short? what type of clothes is she wearing?

after i decided on my own beauty standards, i made changes to my appearance and the closer i got to that image i had of the perfect girl in my head the happier i grew with myself.

EMBRACING MYSELF

now while i was picturing the perfect girl in my mind, i made sure that she had my features. i didn't imagine her without my 'insecurities'. essentially i was just imagining myself if i reached my maximum potential, i didn't change anything i was already born with i only changed the customizable things in a way that i thought was beautiful / suited me more. and that's what i wanna talk about in this part, the importance of embracing myself the way i am.

embracing myself didn't only help me in the mental aspect where i started to love myself more, but it also helped me physically. i started to look a lot better when i stopped trying to force myself to look 'sexy' and admitted that i was more suited for makeup & clothes that are more on the cuter side.

obviously i'm not trying to tell you what to do, but i'm willing to bet that you would look a whole lot better if you wore clothes that fit your body type instead of forcing yourself into tight and uncomfortable clothing. the idea is to understand that there isn't only one type of beauty, so you don't have to force yourself to do things that don't suit you to be beautiful.

IDENTIFYING YOURSELF + YOUR STYLE

i've talked about how you should do things that suit you, but how do you even know what does or doesn't suit you? well you have to start by identifying what 'you' are first.

while i was going through this phase of my glow up journey, i found that there are three things that you have to know about yourself: your face shape, your skintone/undertones and your body type. you can figure them out by looking at yourself in the mirror and referencing these charts below. if you're having a hard time determining where you fit, you can ask a family member/friend for their opinion. i think that wearing things that compliment you makes you look put together no matter what your style is, it gives you the perfect 'canvas'.ཐིཋྀ

— The Princess Guide On Glowing Up:
— The Princess Guide On Glowing Up:
— The Princess Guide On Glowing Up:

from these three things you can figure out what eyebrow shape, hairstyles + hair colors, clothes and colors would suit you the best. you can do that by simply going on pinterest or tiktok and looking up "hairstyle recommendations for ____ face shape". you can also use celebrities with similar traits as inspiration.

as for developing your style, i think that is something you naturally develop over time as you try out things and evolve your taste. but if you're stuck on where to start, i recommend quizzes! there are a lot of korean/chinese quizzes scattered over the internet that can help you. something else i recommend is checking out @/dreamgrlarchive's blog, she has a lot of posts dedicated to finding your style. also, don't shy away from trying out trends or aesthetics that pique your interest, you're drawn to them for a reason so don't let people online shame you for it.

EMBODYING CONFIDENCE

the mental aspect of glowing up is something that often goes unnoticed. glowing up doesn't only require changing physically but also mentally. you have to make sure the inside matches the outside. journaling allowed me to work through any negative thoughts and feelings i had towards myself as well as identify any habits i used to do out of insecurity that i needed to get rid of. you'd be surprised at how many beautiful girls lack self esteem. become comfortable with the fact that you're beautiful.ᡣ𐭩

2025: #2 u are the main character of ur life

2025: #2 U Are The Main Character Of Ur Life

✒️.U.NEED.TO.GET.CRAZY.ABOUT.UR. LIFE .THIS is ur life. your story, your movie and You’re the main character of it . But here’s the problem—you’re sitting there, acting like you’re just an extra. Let me ask you something: when are you going to wake up? When are you going to stop living like someone else is writing your script? Because newsflash—nobody else cares as much about your story as YOU should.

N1 You’re Not Here to Be Average

Do you feel it? That spark inside you? The one that says you’re made for something bigger? Stop shoving it down. Stop telling yourself, 'I’m not special,' or, 'I’ll never be that person.' Because let me tell you something—you already ARE that person. The only difference between you and the version of you that you dream about? Action. Average is safe, but it’s boring. U NEED TO KNOW Being 'okay' is easy, but it’s unfulfilling. You weren’t put on this planet to blend in. You were born to stand out, to do something, to leave a mark. But first, you have to believe that. You have to take risks. You have to dare to be seen, to be heard, to be ALIVE.

N2 Get Obsessed with Yourself

This is the part where people get uncomfortable, but IDGASS . You need to fall in love with YOU. Not in a shallow, fake, selfie-obsessed way—but deeply, madly, passionately in love with the person you are becoming.Spend time with yourself. Take yourself out on dates. Sit in silence and listen to your thoughts. Who are you, really? What do you want? Not what society wants, not what your parents want, not what your friends think is cool—what do YOU want?Get crazy about discovering your passions. Throw yourself into books, art, music, whatever lights you up inside. Because the more you pour into yourself, the more unstoppable you become. You’re not just living life; you’re creating it. So why not make it something spectacular?

N3 Stop Waiting for Permission

Why are you waiting? Waiting for someone to tell you you’re good enough? Waiting for the 'right time'? BRO WTF Let me tell you something nobody is coming to give you permission. Nobody is going to hand you your dream life wrapped up in a bow. You have to go out there and TAKE IT.Stop looking for signs. Stop waiting for everything to feel perfect. It’s messy, it’s chaotic, and sometimes it’s downright terrifying—but that’s the beauty of it. The magic happens when you stop overthinking and just DO. Take the leap, even if you don’t feel ready. Life isn’t about being ready—it’s about showing up, again and again, until you create the life you can’t stop dreaming about AND THIS IS DISCIPLINE

N4 Reclaim Your Power

Let’s get one thing straight: you are powerful. Not in a vague, 'manifestation vibes' kind of way, but in a real, tangible way. Every decision you make is a choice. Every habit you keep is a vote for the kind of person you want to be.But here’s the catch—every time you let someone else control your narrative, you give away a piece of that power. Every time you shrink yourself to fit someone else’s expectations, you lose a little more. Stop giving it away. Own your voice. Own your choices. Own your life. You are the architect of your story. So start building something worth remembering. And if people don’t like it? If they don’t 'get' you? Let them go. Your life is not a democracy it’s YOUR kingdom. Rule it unapologetically.

N5 Romanticize the Hell Out of Everything

Here’s the secret nobody tells you: life is as magical as you decide to make it. Stop waiting for the big moments—graduation, the 'dream job'...—to feel alive. Start finding beauty in the small, ordinary, quiet things.Make your morning coffee an event. Cook ur dinner by urself. Write love letters to urself. Turn sunsets into poetry. Life is happening right now, and if you keep rushing to the 'next thing,' you’re going to miss it.Romanticizing your life isn’t about pretending everything is perfect. It’s about choosing to see the magic, even in the mess. Because when you do that, life stops feeling like something you’re just surviving—and starts feeling like something worth celebrating.

This is Your one life. Your one shot. So stop living like you have forever. Stop waiting, stop hiding, stop playing small. You are the main character of this story, and it’s time to act like it. Get crazy about your life. Get obsessed. Because when you do, everything changes. Now go out there and make something beautiful I'm proud of u 143

How I got myself out of a manifesting rut this time

1. I stopped doomscrolling. I gave myself set social media time and I was very strict about it. Doomscrolling is bad for you in many ways but when it comes to manifesting I find it makes you compare yourself to others which simply won’t help in your manifesting journey.

2. Using my absolute fav manifesting techniques, preferably simple ones so it doesn’t take up so much energy. The techniques I used were robotic affirming, subs, and my personal Pinterest technique!

3. Treat yourself like a god. Y’all know the drill I talk about this one all the time. Treating yourself like a god will literally bring your self concept back from the fucking dead

4. Daydream and be “delusional.” I swear this was the biggest one for me this time around. I thought in extreme detail about what I wanted and played it out like a super detailed movie scene and gassed myself up so much. After I started doing this step I started feeling so much better omg

5. Affirming and persisting. Obviously. I don’t even have to explain this one we all know it well lol

Little things that improved my life 𝜗𝜚˚⋆

Little Things That Improved My Life 𝜗𝜚˚⋆
Little Things That Improved My Life 𝜗𝜚˚⋆

Accepting my sleep schedule. I'm a night owl; I focus at night, I'm calm at night, I'm motivated at night. For a long time, I tried to fight this since everyone always preaches getting up early, but since I started accepting my natural sleep schedule, I've been feeling a lot better and have become way more productive.

"drink more water". TEA. Tea is the secret here. I will be honest, I hate drinking water; it doesn't matter if I have a cute water bottle or a cute glass, I still hate it. TEA.

Replying quickly. I used to be one of those people who get a text message and think, "Oh, I'll reply to that later", and then just forget about it entirely. Now, I text back as soon as I see the message. This has not only improved my texting anxiety (which I cause on my own by now replying and then feeling bad) but also deepened my connection to my friends. <3

Keeping my circle small and being okay with that. Over the past months, I've had this sudden urge to expand my social circle and get to know more and more people, especially after I moved in August. However, this quickly ended in what I like to call my "social burnout". I was tired, annoyed, and overwhelmed. It took a few weeks for it to settle, but I've come to the conclusion that I would much rather have a smaller circle of people who I trust and love deeply than a huge group of friends, and that's totally okay.

Wearing what I like. Even though I live in a big city, I'd still say that my style can sometimes be a bit more extravagant than what most people wear, another point is that I'm very uncomfortable with pants so I only wear skirts, which is also considered a bit odd where I live. But over the past years, I've come to accept that and have become so sure of myself and found such comfort in my style that I now just wear whatever I like, and it makes every day a little bit nicer.

Reading and writing for pleasure. Reading books outside of my studies and spending time researching topics that simply interest me is such a great way to calm your mind. Same for writing, I always like to say that to write is to think; putting your thoughts on paper in cohesive and well-crafted sentences that you can then reread and think over again is such a liberating thing to do.

Reaching out more. fuck the whole "double texting" and "no contact" thing. If you want to speak to someone because they mean something to you, then just do it. Unless they specifically asked for space, you shouldn't feel bad about wanting to be in touch with them. Many even really appreciate it when you show that you truly care. Let's stop the nonchalant act, and instead, let's face deep emotions and true vulnerability. <3

As always, please feel free to share your own little insights and things that helped you improve comments! <3

The Anti-Inflammatory Foods Every Beginner Wellness Girl Should Know

by Soleau Club

The Anti-Inflammatory Foods Every Beginner Wellness Girl Should Know
The Anti-Inflammatory Foods Every Beginner Wellness Girl Should Know

If you’re bloated, tired, puffy, moody, breaking out, or just feeling off—there’s a good chance inflammation is playing puppet master behind the scenes. But don’t freak out. You don’t need to do a 14-day celery juice cleanse or cry in front of a Whole Foods salad bar. You just need the right foods. Think of this as your soft launch into anti-inflammatory girliehood.

Here’s what should definitely be in your wellness starter pack:

01. Berries (AKA nature’s candy with a skincare bonus)

Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries—these little babies are loaded with antioxidants that fight oxidative stress (aka the stuff that dulls your glow). Throw them in smoothies, yogurt, or snack on them straight. You’ll be feeding your skin from the inside out.

02. Leafy Greens (The hotter your gut, the hotter your glow)

Spinach, kale, arugula, Swiss chard—your cells love this stuff. They're packed with vitamins, minerals, and fiber that help calm your system down and get things moving (if you know what I mean).

03. Fatty Fish (Like salmon, but make it chic)

Omega-3s are the main character here—essential fatty acids that help reduce inflammation and keep your brain, skin, and hormones vibing. Not into fish? Try algae oil, walnuts, or chia seeds for a plant-based glow-up.

04. Turmeric (Golden latte, anyone?)

This isn’t just a wellness buzzword—turmeric contains curcumin, an actual anti-inflammatory superhero. Just pair it with black pepper to make it absorbable. Add it to rice, soups, or milk for an aesthetic little moment.

05. Olive Oil (The European auntie-approved elixir)

Forget seed oils. Cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil is loaded with healthy fats and antioxidants. Drizzle it on everything from roasted veggies to your life crisis. It’s luxurious, healing, and effortlessly hot.

06. Avocados (A wellness girl rite of passage)

Creamy, delicious, and full of monounsaturated fats and fiber that help stabilize blood sugar and reduce inflammation. Also: they’re basically edible Botox.

07. Ginger (Spicy little inflammation slayer)

Whether you’re sipping ginger tea, adding it to your stir-fry, or blending it into your green juice, this root brings the anti-inflammatory heat in the best way. Bonus: it helps digestion and combats nausea (aka bloating’s evil cousin).

08. Green Tea (Because coffee doesn’t always love you back)

Antioxidant-rich, soothing, and a little less harsh on your nervous system. The polyphenols in green tea work quietly behind the scenes to reduce inflammation and keep you cool, calm, and collected.

09. Cruciferous Veggies (The bloat-fighting bad girls of the veggie world)

Broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts—these are detox queens. They help support liver function and hormone balance, which equals less bloating, clearer skin, and fewer random emotional spirals.

10. Dark Chocolate (Yes, seriously.)

Opt for 70% cacao or higher, and enjoy it in moderation. It's loaded with antioxidants and can help reduce inflammation—plus it satisfies sweet cravings in a way that still feels intentional, not chaotic.

Anti-inflammatory eating isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being in tune. Your body doesn’t want restriction—it wants support. Feed it well, and it will reward you with glowy skin, stable energy, and good moods that aren’t caffeine-dependent.

How to Own Your Morning, *It Girl* Style 💋☕️

Alright, babes, let’s get real. Mornings are your time to set the tone, and if you want to crush it like the *it girl* you are, you need a routine that’s as fierce as you. Here’s how to wake up, show up, and slay:

How To Own Your Morning, *It Girl* Style 💋☕️
How To Own Your Morning, *It Girl* Style 💋☕️
How To Own Your Morning, *It Girl* Style 💋☕️

1. Wake Up, But Make It Chic 🕶: No more obnoxious alarms. Wake up to your favorite throwback jam—something with serious vibes. We’re talking J.Lo or Britney, because you deserve to start the day like a total boss.

2. Hydration = Power 💦: Grab a glass of cold water the second you’re up. Hydrate like the queen you are. Bonus points if you add lemon. Keep it fresh, keep it fierce.

4. Coffee & Attitude ☕️: Coffee isn’t just a drink; it’s a lifestyle. Brew it strong, make it bold, and sip it slow while you mentally plan your domination of the day. Remember, a red lip *and* a coffee cup = iconic.

5. Look Like the Moment 🖤💄: Lay out your look the night before, so you can step into the day like you own it. Think black boots, leather jacket, and those jeans that hug you in all the right places. You’re not just dressing—you’re making a statement.

6. Mood Setting 🎧: Plug in your earbuds and blast that playlist that makes you feel invincible. Whether it’s rock, pop, or something in between, it’s gotta have that ‘I’m unstoppable’ energy.

7. Makeup & Magic 💋: A flick of liner, a pop of red lipstick, and you’re ready to take on the world. Keep it simple, but make it striking. Remember, less is more, but always *look* like more.

8. Mindset of a Queen 💭: Take five to focus. Whether it’s journaling, affirmations, or just a moment in the mirror to remind yourself you’re *that girl*, start with some serious self-love.

9. Scent of a Legend 🌹: Finish with a spritz of your signature scent—something that leaves an impression long after you’ve walked away.

Own your mornings, babes. Because every day is a chance to be legendary. 💋✨

ultimate IT girl guide

a guide to looking effortlessly perfect

"You’ve got the false narrative of a girl who spends 30 seconds on her appearance, when, in fact, you probably spent hours.”

1. basic hygiene:

having clean teeth and good breath

smelling good 24/7. i highly recommend finding a signature scent as a scent is associated with memory, id suggest something sweet yet not too overpowering like vanilla.

being clean in general. regularly shaving and exfoliating your skin to get rid of bodily hair and dirt that accumulates on your skin to make your skin glow.

clean nails. having clean and maintained nails (with a simple design if you wish) looks better than having acrylics that are wayyy too long and appear tacky.

2. hair :

having smooth healthy hair looks much better than dry and damaged hair. take care of your hair by finding the best products for your natural hair. get rid of your split ends as they make the hair appear really damaged.

in my opinion, loose waves look the most effortless yet pretty. but don’t ruin your natural hair by applying too much heat! you can try heatless styling methods to achieve this look.

3. diet and exercise :

being toned is the way to go to fit this aesthetic

avoid oily foods or sugary foods that damage your skin. don’t completely get rid of these as we all have our cravings, but try your best to avoid it

find a workout plan that works best for you, keeps you healthy but doesn’t burn you out! moreover exercise releases endorphins that improve your mood.

4. makeup and skin care :

natural makeup on clear skin fits this effortless aesthetic perfectly!

take care of your skin by finding a routine that fits you the best, consult with a dermatologist for the best results.

having smooth, blended makeup creates an illusion that you aren’t wearing any at all! this appears much effortless than a full face. also try to avoid those really huge false lashes that make you look tacky.

maintain your eyebrows and find a shape that fits you best!

5. outfits :

having a signature style which suits your body type is essential. experiment until you can find what suits you best! you can use a body analysis app for this.

wearing outfits you’re confident in, hot but not too revealing goes a long way. confidence is key. wearing overly revealing clothing might seem like one is trying too hard, but if you can carry it with confidence then that’s great!

jewellery : having dainty, signature pieces is key! find out which suits you better (gold or silver) through an ai analysis and invest in timeless pieces. personally, i think minimalistic pieces such as solitaires, simple pendants, classic hoops etc. look much more effortless.

6. personality :

don’t be too judgemental towards anyone as you don’t know what they’re going through and this makes you seem unapproachable

don’t talk too much or overshare! this creates a mysterious aura which draws people to you more

confidence is key! posture is very important too, carry yourself with confidence and walk with your head held up high.

7. examples and references :

serena van der woodsen (gossip girl)

mia thermopolis (the princess diaries)

cher (clueless)

elle woods (legally blonde)

rory gilmore (gilmore girls)

robin scherbatsky (how i met your mother)

gigi hadid

bunny's 60-day glow up challenge ❤︎

Bunny's 60-day Glow Up Challenge ❤︎

hi my loves! my birthday is right around the corner and i want to end the year strong, so i thought it would be a cute and encouraging idea to host a challenge for all of us glow-up girlies! the steps for the challenge are very simple and customizable, and they give plenty of space for low-energy days. this challenge is all about trying your best to remain consistent in your goals, not to strive for an impossible "perfection" but instead to build trust in yourself that you can show up for your beautiful self and achieve the glow up that you deserve!

steps for the challenge:

pick three habits or things you want to dedicate time to every day

write a sentence or two on why you want to focus on these habits so that you have motivation and inspiration to complete them on hard days; this could include a basic "why" or you could write out specific goals you'd like to achieve through these habits

write out three different energy level variations of the habits so you can achieve your habits even on low-energy days

optional step: write an intro post sharing your habits and goals with everyone! you can use the tag #bunny60days to connect with others doing the challenge and hype each other up with accountability and love - you can also tag me and i can cheer you on hehe! 🥰 otherwise you can simply keep track on your own using a journal or planner or whatever works best for you!

optional step: write daily (or weekly) check-in posts sharing what you accomplished on the different days of the challenge, what you'd like to improve on the next day, or just a general update on how you're feeling. remember that this is a feel-good challenge, not a shame-filled one, so be kind to yourself and use this reflection as a way to show compassion and empathy to yourself 💕 again, you can use the tag #bunny60days to track your progress and see how others are doing!

the only very important rule for this challenge:

if you fall off and don't complete every habit you've written down in a day, do not start the challenge over, just pick up from where you left off! remember, this challenge is about building self-trust and resiliency - this means that you won't let one bad day or break in a streak stop you from continuing your habits. being "strong and hardworking" doesn't mean doing everything perfectly from day one, it means picking yourself up when you fall off course and trying again even though you may feel imperfect.

why only three habits?

when we do challenges, it's so easy to want to accomplish everything all at once, from working out to sleep schedules to everything in between. however, when you eventually burn yourself out or don't complete everything on your super long list of habits, shame is bound to follow, and shame does not make healthy soil for a beautiful plant to grow. starting off with three habits with different energy levels is a good way to ease into habit building while still feeling challenging enough to be interesting.

i don't know where to begin! can you give me an example of some habits or goals?

absolutely! if you'd like an example, you can check out my own personal goals for the challenge here. i'll be participating too, so you know that you have at least one person joining you in your glow up! 🥰 there is also a blank template below for you to use for your own glow up adventure.
