They could only stare in horror as the creature bites through the knights. Merlin could faintly hear screaming and then pain.  

“Retreated.” Sir Leon’s voice broke through the clearing, forcing the few knights that were left into action, grabbing Arthur’s wrist as he pulled him away from there. He forced them to move even though Arthur was almost dead weight.

Trying to pull away, trying to get back to the creature. It needed to be slain before any more people died. Merlin needed to be avenged. He needed to know that his death wasn’t in vain. He died protecting his family, and that is enough.

“Arthur, we need to rethink this. We are not winning; we can come back when we have a plan, and then we can handle it.” Leon’s voice barely broke through the fog, clouding Arthur’s mind.

Suddenly, there was just silence as they stopped in the forest about a kilometre away from the creature. There was a look of horror as the knights placed their hands on Arthur’s shoulder, giving him some comfort.

All of them knew what the relationship was between master and servant. Even when they tried to hide it away, it was clear as day.

All Arthur could do was sit there, his body barely able to move. He glanced upwards, his eyes desperate as he tried to keep his face calm. But from the knight’s eyes, he could see that it wasn’t working.

Leon sighed slightly as he sat down next to Arthur, gently pulling him against his chest, the older knight sent the other away with a glare.

“It is my fault, Leon, I should have insisted that he stay in Camelot. He doesn’t belong out here with us. And the newbies, we should have known.” Arthur's breath hitched as he tried to gather his thoughts.

“Merlin would have just followed us; you know that as well as I do. And unfortunately, we needed to have as many hands-on decks as possible. We didn’t know it would be this bad, Arthur.” Leon tried to give him some comfort.

A sudden blast made them all freeze as a shock wave sent them to the ground.

Arthur forced himself to his feet, hand on his sword, as he rushed back to where the blast came from. As if someone forced himself forward, he came to a halt in the clearing.

The creature on the ground, Merlin, slumped against a tree, blood dripping from his head, an arm cradled against his chest.

“Merlin.” Arthur rushed over to the manservant. Crouching down, he gently moved the soaked hair out of his eyes. He wanted to ask how, instead, Merlin slumped forward against his chest. “Safe.  You all are safe.” His voice slurred, whether, from the head injury or magical exhaustion, Arthur couldn’t say.

His hands trembled as he picked him up. “Go to sleep; I have you.” He whispered the words as he glanced at Leon.

Knowing that between them, they would keep Merlin safe. There is no other choice.

I'm going to be confessing something

I hate how all the characters don't have features that imply how old they died. Like husk apparently died in his 70s, yet no wrinkles? No gut from drinking? Or they could've had him having some difficulty running or walking since the older you get, it very unlikely you can run the same way you would 20 years old.

Nope, nothing.

arthur notices merlin and lancelot’s chemistry in s1 and then merlin and gwaine’s chemistry in s3 and comes to the conclusion that merlin likes men with long hair. in completely unrelated news, arthur thinks he might look good with long hair and decides to grow it out

Did anyone else forget about this necklace?

Like this piece of information is so forgettable! This jewelry can protect the user who wears it, but it has never been mentioned again since this short.

There are so many questions I have!

● How does the merch company know how to make this?

● Is the company owned by heaven? (Or the very least angels)

● Does anyone else know this type of jewelry exists?

● Is there more jewelry like that out there?

Honestly, I wished they played more with this idea. Instead of a stort, it was a full episode of I.M.P trying different ways to kill her.

It starts with blitz because he believes it is going to be a normal, easy job that he can do by himself since moxxie sick, millie on a another kill job, and loona is busy with getting clients schedules to work. However, over time, he calls for backup one by one.

It goes millie, loona, and finally a very sick moxxie.

Blitz - "Mox, I gonna be real you look like shit."

Moxxie - "Thank you, sir... now what the problem? All I see is a normal human girl."

Loona - "That normal human girl necklance is literally helping her survive every trick we got on killing humans."

Millie - "We have tried everything! We tried the axe trick to-"

Blitz - "To the rope trick I did at your guys' 1st date."

Moxxie - *blowing his nose* "Then why I'm here? You couldn't use the Grimorie to find more information?"

Loona - "We already tried to find more information on the necklace in the Grimorie, but we couldn't find anything other than the user willingly has to take off the necklace."

Then Moxxie goes up to Emberlynn, then we have the exact same scene in the short where Emberlynn is, "Oh demon, you here for little old me~? But instead of Blitz, it Moxxie

After all that, she takes off the necklace for Moxxie, and Loona/Blitz is like, "we wasted the entire day for this when we could've called Moxxie ages ago."

And Millie is being held back from stabbing Emberlynn even more.

MY REVIEW OF EPISODE 3!

Summary of the episode: The episode follows the hotel as they do trust exercises, Charlie puts vaggie in changes. In plot B, we follow Alastor as he goes to an overlord meeting.

My problems short formed:

● so much was going on, but it was still boring

● Some things should be saved for another episode

● cut back on characters

My problems long formed:

● this episode was really boring. It just was a miss for me, I mean, we knew about the angel head. I was surprised when Velvette had the angel head, and Camille was the one that did it, but the shock was over because after that episode, we got nothing on angel head at all.

So I suggest separating Vaggie plot for her own episode, then leave this episode to Camille and velvette as a whole. Before I forget, I suggested in my earlier reviews, keeping the audience from knowing about the angel head, and then when the angel head is thrown, I just know all the audience would be completely focus.

● like I said, vaggie should have an episode focused on her. And who she is without charlie, all the people I seen who like vaggie only like her because she with Charlie.

And I personally feel like you should like the characters for who they are, not who they are with. And for vaggie without or with Charlie, she basically summed up to be angry, doesn't trust anyone, and without a second thought, and pull out her spear.

(I just find it funny that vaggie doesn't do anything with her spear fighting wise until the last couple of episodes)

● I suggest, to cut back on characters, and the overlords could be those characters. I mean, none of them even really spoke except maybe 6.

I think the episode should've the overlords meeting being canceled because everyone was busy or made up excuses on why they didn't show up.

My rewrite:

So we see Camila working, then velvette kick the door open.

Velvette is demanding for Camila use the information she knows. Camila doesn't want to be part of it.

Then velvette talk about how in recent years Camila has been losing more respect form the overlords. Then respectless happens, and then velvette is kicked out. As Camila starts to be more tense, her shadow starts to stretch out, becoming alastor shadow.

Wow, it has been a hot minute since I did a review post. But life has been kicking me hard by keeping me busy. I'm so sorry to keep you all waiting.

i don't mean to alarm anyone but i think sir gwaine might be having an illicit love affair with the king's manservant

I think it would be insanely funny if after Arthur’s death everyone returns back in time to the place they were the day Merlin arrived in Camelot. But like, everyone thinks they are the only ones who has returned. We see it all from Merlin’s pov, who’s traumatised and wondering why the fuck Arthur is so much sweeter to him this time around and keeps saying ‘thank you’. He wonders why Lancelot shows up earlier, why all of a sudden Gwaine is there three years too early, saying he got hurt in a tavern bawl and needs a physician. He wonders why Leon keeps pretending like he didn’t just accidentally see Merlin do magic. Why Gwen keeps giving him these knowing looks. And why Morgana doesn’t seem as afraid as she used to when she was figuring out that she had magic. Everyone is trying their best to change history for the better, thinking they are alone with this duty... and then one day when uther is dead and they are sitting around the round table, merlin steps forward and is like: ‘I need to confess that I have magic, but also that I have returned from the future.’ And everyone just whips around and is like ‘YOU TOO??!’ And then they realise that they’ve all returned and wasted their time thinking they were alone.
