I’ve come to a realization.

What’s realization you might ask?

ITS THE FACT THAT I WASNT GOING INSANE WHEN I THOUGHT HIS HAIR GOT LONGER A WHILE AGO

Also: I have no idea if this is just the art styles or not, but I like the transition in the look of his magic from the stone.

Since everyone seems to be talking about the gba faithful thing I want to take a minute to share a hot take I've been thinking about for a while now

Gba among other VAs (including scythe audio who I'm gonna talk about to cos I think he's very important to this conversation) aren't actually "asmr boyfriend vas" their creative people working with a budget

There's something that sets both these creators apart from the typical "asmr rp boyfriend va" and it's the fact that they both clearly would rather their work be a series, a comic, a book or even a movie but their working with a budget so they use a fairly cheep medium: youtube asmr rp

When you listen to gba or scythe your not listening to "asmr rp boyfriend #comfort #sleep aid #hot british" your listening to a story with real narrative and real talent

I bring up scythe because he's expressed multiple times his resentment for typical asmr bf rp audios which is valid because they get more views despite the "lack of talent" also because he's faced similar criticism for the villan series

However with gba it's harder to notice but it's very clear that he's jumping through hoops to try and please the audience that sees "asmr bf #british #enemies to lovers" and clicks because of that instead of the actually genius story writing

While I do think it's kinda dishonest to put those things in your video thumbnail in order to attract a bigger audience I don't in any way condem gba for doing that and he made a smart move making the "albus ending" and "devlin ending" for all the "romance starved" fans but to somone like me who recognises that the romantic aspect of a lot of his story's are only their for viewers sake the albus ending felt very dishonest to what gba actually wanted and felt very pander-y which again I don't condem him for cos if he hadn't made the albus ending yall would have pissed and moaned about it!

And lastly to say that gba "can't write romance" is blatantly dishonest. He has said before that he dosnt like doing it as much but the people that say that he straight up "can't" are clearly just pissy about the whole faithful thing. Like did yall just collectively forget about space pirates?

Me, feeling called out cuz I am one of those people 😭: "Whoa, okay, I get it, he needs his time I'm sorry, damn!"

V, now having panic attacks: 😰😰

Me: lmao, first time?

V, now got worse: 🫨

Me: WHOA- okay, I should've expected that-

V: * now ready to drop his background story*

Me: YEAAAAAAA-

Lady Akasha: Am I interupting something..?

Me: "... WELL YES, THANKS A LOT-" 🤬

Lady Akasha: "I got updates"

Me: "..... Okay forget what I said earlier please proceed m'lady." 👀

Void: * making an appearance*

Me, knowing damn well we're gonna have a bad time: "ah... Get a load for this fuc-"

Void: * reveal himself as Maverick and there's references to the reddening audio*

Me, realising that things went from 0 to 100 real quick: "AYYO HELL NAH-" 😨😨😨

In any case, I enjoyed the audio nonetheless. It was a roller coaster of emotions since the last audio of this series ngl. 😂😭

Cheeky's fingers automatically gently caressing his scars whenever he's close whether it's on his hands or his back because he's shirtless, etc. He wouldn't let her do it for long but it is a very nice thought 😌

Ok but like Cheeky kissing all of V’s scars from the small ones on his hands to the most painful ones. He doesn’t have to tell them about where or how he got them

they just want to make some of his pain go away, even if just a little

I know this isn't exactly abaut the VAs or asmr rp in general but seeing people use Gacha Life 2 to make their listener ocs/designs makes me feel so happy

Like I can't draw for shit so I use gacha for a lot of my designs but I always felt embarrassed abaut using it like it was childish or smth lol, but seeing so many people do it too and post their designs on Tumblr and seeing VAs react to them feels so validating you guys have no idea

So yeah keep up with the good work guys, your listener ocs are awesome and your designs are even more amazing!

The future plan!

Yo tumblr peeps!

There have been a lot of audios stories that have been left in the back by myself due to certain constraints (VA availability and the fact my career keeps me insanely busy)

Thought I'd give you a little update

The next Atrocity script is finished

The next yandere werewolf script is finished

Once the VAs involved (who have busy lives) are free to record their parts, these stories WILL return.

As for some of the others. I've brought you War of the witches, Dark, Villain, and small bits of Alpha/jayjays world this year, but it's only been small amounts. I feel your frustrations, but at least you've seen them this year ey.

I will be dedicating my creative energy over the next few months to 2 worlds that have been neglected a lot...stories that are so vast and deserve some time and love put into them.

Beyond the stars and Demon Hunter will be my main focus for a while. I'm excited to progress their stories, and I hope my chaotic community can get behind this too 😌.

Lots of madness to come
