Peace be with you.

Headcanon that all spider people get whatâs called the âSpider-Zoomiesâ (which is a sudden burst of energy but itâs expressed through Spider-like behavior) except for Miguel because he didnât get bitten, so every time he makes the mistake of going to HQ in the middle of the night, he gets jump scared by at least one Spider-Man:
Scuttling across the ceiling (Pavitr)
Hissing into the void (Miles)
Bench pressing a building (Peter B)
Jumping fifty feet into the air without warning (Margo)
Building some intricate contraption in complete darkness (Hobie, emphasis on trap)
Running extremely fast without making a sound so you donât know theyâre there until itâs too late (wtf Mayday)
Or crouching into a corner, completely still like a predator watching its prey, and the moment he gets close to them, they whisper âHeyâ making him scream so loud that he throws his empanadas in their face (Gwen)
Itâs essentially like youâre walking through a building full of eldritch horrors, and you donât know where any of them are, but they all know exactly where you are, and they win bonus points if they scare the shit out of you. Miguel hates it here.
Bouncing off of OP, my favorite part about this scene is that these two morons (affectionate) did it while surrounded by people who've Drifted before/work entirely around the Drift and managing neural handshakes, so they ALL 100% picked up on OP's thoughts, too.
This might be one of my favourite scenes of anything ever cause itâs so blindly obvious how connected they are after the drift!!!! The way they carry this speech - it doesnât sound at all like two separate people with separate thoughts, this is ONE thought, ONE message and it is bouncing between them speaking so effortlessly. Itâs so different to how they talk together earlier on in the film - they donât cut each other off or argue or talk over each other, the sentences flow between the both of them like theyâre one person. Itâs honestly amazing to hear two people sound so incredibly connected
Of course they did. It feels like Israel is trying to speedrun the entire Geneva Conventions at this point, and it's fucking sickening.

Israel immediately broke the ceasefire by the way.
speaking of fruits in this movie: Pentacost and Herc absolutely had something going on and I will die on that hill
we as a society got over Pacific Rim too fast.
- banging soundtrack just awesome
- lead female character with her own fully realized arc that had nothing to do with a love interest
- the concept of drifting is so fucking cool and prime fanfic material
- those two gay fucking weirdo scientists who drifted together inside a fucking alien brain like hello
- IT PULLS OUT A SWORD IN OUTER FUCKING SPACE
- kaijus are cool. that's all.
soapghost headcanons sleep edition
ghost:
sleeps in complete darkness. has blackout curtains and unplugs/shuts off all his electronics before going to sleep. sleeps in complete silence. if you didnât know better youâd think you were walking into a cave
hates sleeping. it makes him feel vulnerable but he also think itâs an impractical waste of time
sleeps on a twin sized mattress. curls into a ball when he sleeps
always too hot
the first time soap slept in his bed ghost got a foot lodged in his side and he ended up on the floor and got no sleep that night
light sleeper
thereâs at least one knife under his pillow at all times. sometimes he hides more between the mattress and the frame
talks in his sleep
refuses to sleep around anyone else because he has trust issues. will force himself to go days without sleeping unless soap is around
locks the door to his room at the same time every night to make him feel safer
has at least two weighted blankets that heâs folded in half to make them seem heavier but theyâre still not heavy enough for his liking
loves it when soap lays on him/rests his head on his chest
soap
soap sleeps with the curtains half drawn and always has something playing in the background
wears earplugs when he sleeps ?? donât ask me to explain itâs just something he would do
s p r a w l s out as much as he can. sleeps on a king sized mattress just because he likes having the space
has led strip lights on the walls but never changes the color from red and he keeps them on the lowest setting because itâs easy on the eyes at night and he knows ghost wonât mind it
the first time ghost slept in his bed he woke up the next morning crying because he had slept really well and that scared him (trauma responses abhorred <3) and soap didnât understand it at first and thought he had done something wrong
a literal ice cube. loves to snuggle with ghost at night to warm himself up & gets sad when ghost isnât around to keep him warm
sometimes finds himself sleeping On Top of ghost like a baby sleeping on somebodyâs chest
never knows how it ends up happening but he doesnât complain about it ever because he loves it
wears socks in bed
one time a civvy kid brought him a little beat up raccoon stuffed animal & he sleeps with it very night (it lowkey reminds him of ghost)
keeps a stack of various books on his bedside table to read at night when he canât sleep
soap snores so effing loud
I have seen people comment both on here and elsewhere that some PoC characters are that in name only. And have heard people say that a "black person would never say that" that hispanic girl is a reskinned white girl. I recognize that when some writers use PoC characters as mouth pieces to talk about that ethnicity, but it seems to be a more social outlook in some cases that is hard to put a finger on.
Iâm here for fixyourwritinghabitsâs response to the POC would/wouldnât accusation.
X people do not all act, react, think or live the same, so youâre right to raise your brow at anyone saying âNah, Black people donât do so and so.â But what you will want to look at is if this claim is valid in relation to your particular character.Â
So letâs take talking back to oneâs parents. Let me generalize and say in the Black community, this might be something thatâs not gonna happen so often and thereâs lots of jokes about how shocked Black people are to see how their White friends are allowed to say certain things to their parents that would get them personally in trouble with their Black parents.Â
Observe:
But not every Black person or family is the same. You might have a Black character who would talk back and whether drama ensues or not is up to the development you created with your characters.
Itâs a strange thing to balance, achieving alleged âAuthenticityâ vs. avoiding stereotypes, but it can and is done when you realize that people are influenced by not just their identifies as Black, Latinx, or otherwise, but personality, social class, family lives, and so on.

My question is: what is Steve Rogersâs body count? ⌠We donât talk about that a lot because heâs an American Hero ⢠and American Heroes donât ever actually kill people even when theyâre, you know, soldiers in the actual fucking Army.  The American Hero has to show mercy and give everybody a second chance and any time the Bad Guy dies, it has to be because he made a mistake that lead to his own death.  The hero can never actually just fucking murder him in our stories because that would be wrong and a true American would never do something like that.
So, like, has Steve Rogers ever shot a dude in the face? Â Has he ever snapped anybodyâs neck? Â Has he ever been struggling for his own life and used his shield to take a life?
If you have either canon comics knowledge or just Opinions and Feelings, please feel free to share. Â Because, like, dude was a soldier in WWII on the European Front fighting Nazis, kicking open doors with gun literally blazing, so heâs obviously killed people, but we never discuss this. Â How does Steve reconcile killing? Â Does he feel guilt? Â Is he comfortable with his actions? Â Has he killed people since he got pulled out of the ice? Â How does he feel about taking human lives? Â Does he talk to anybody about it? Â Does he just internalize it and let it eat him up inside?
